Amazing Florist & Wedding Designer!

Marti & her team were absolutely amazing. She is a true professional and really understands her craft. We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and Marti was flexible and helpful with the decision. For our wedding she provided the flowers and they were absolutely beautiful. She was able to understand our vision and execute. I highly recommend! All my guests were very complimentary of the flowers.

Our Urban Jungle

Marti Heard's designs are just as magical as she is. She was willing to take risks with us and pushed us to take some too. She was wonderful at balancing what I wanted and what he wanted. She gave us the urban jungle vibe we dreamed up together and we couldn't have been happier! She's wonderful about coordinating with venues (even when the venues aren't always great) and coordinating with our wedding cake bakery. She flexed to last minute requests and other vendor mistakes with grace and ease. She helped direct us to the most important things we needed to splurge on and talked us out of some potentially expensive pitfalls. Her experience was invaluable! And she's also a genuinely cool person, so that helps!

Stunning flowers and arrangements

I loved, LOVED Marti's flowers for my wedding. I'll never forget how I felt the first time seeing our bouquets and the reception with the gorgeous hydrangeas and other flowers -- they took my breath away. Marti was wonderful to work with, even suggesting we incorporate a certain color into the arrangements to make colored chairs at the reception seem intentional. Everything looked beautiful and flawless, and I would strongly recommend Marti Heard.

The best florist

Marti is THE best florist in Cincinnati!! She is so fun to work with and made our day truly memorable. I wanted the flowers to be a focal point at my wedding so, choosing the right florist was very important to me. I made the best decision when I hired Marti. She made my dreams come to life.. from the flowers to the vases and candles, she truly made the tables at my reception beautiful. She has great suggestions and truly wants your event to be perfect. Our wedding was two weeks ago and people are still emailing and calling to say how beautiful the reception was and that was thanks to Marti and her team!! I highly recommend!!

Marti is great!

Marti was hugely instrumental in the set up of my wedding! I described to her what I wanted and she immediately got it and was able to create my vision. Not only did she create the perfect flowers, she also spent time with me correcting the layout of the room. I was so thankful she did this! The changes she made were perfect, and I dont think the wedding would have been the same without her help. Marti made all the difference and was a huge help in creating the perfect day! She is so talented!

I loved working with Marti for the flowers for my wedding! When we initially sat down to talk about what I had in mind, she was able to grasp the vision I was trying to convey and even sent images along with her quote so it was clear we were on the same page. About a month before my wedding I changed gears and more than doubled the flowers I needed and she responded without even blinking an eye. And they were GORGEOUS! She has such a great sense of design. And above all of that, they smelled amazing. The rooms of our house were scented for days afterwards with just my bouquet. Marti was great to work with, easy to talk to, and went beyond what I had expected to deliver phenomenal work!

Marti is absolutely phenomenal to work with! She is patient with questions and changes, quick to respond with suggestions and creative feedback, and has a true talent for unique floral and event design. I could not have been more in love with my rehearsal dinner and wedding reception flowers. My bridal bouquet was absolutely stunning and unique..it was more than I could have dreamed of! Marti goes 110% out of her way to make you feel confident in your choices, and works hard to make you feel as though you're her only customer, even in her busiest times. If you're looking for an out of the box thinker, who will be conscious of your budget and vision, Marti is the best choice in Cincinnati flowers.

Marti is my go-to girl for any event or occasion that requires a florist. Her taste is impeccable, her designs exquisite. She has an aesthetic that is unique and high-end. She is a true professional and a pleasure to work with. SO Fabulous!!! Marti went above and beyond and surpassed our every expectation! From the first time we met with Marti--I knew immediately she was the right florist for us. She listened to the general vision we had for our day and came back to us quickly with a gorgeous, detailed design on how to bring it to life.
I don't know much about flowers other than what I generally like and don't like--so I was a little intimidated about the floral selection part of the wedding planning process. But from the very beginning I felt at ease working with Marti. Marti is such a talented and creative artist. I handed over the general ideas/vision to Marti to work her magic and do her thing--and she delivered. Not only did she come up with a design for flowers, she answered questions and helped with ideas on things like linens, colors, etc. to help tie the whole look together. We received SOOOO many compliments on the flowers at our rehearsal dinner and wedding. Marti is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, flexible, mindful of budget, creative, and super fun to work with--and I can't recommend her enough!

We loved working with Marti! She really listened to our vision, accommodating changes throughout and really working to stay within our budget, and produced beautiful bouquets and arrangements for our ceremony and reception. But she also went above and beyond for us, sitting in on planning meetings and helping to pick out linens,tables,and chairs that matched the feel we were attempting to achieve. She was wonderful!

Marti was able to help me and my husband out 10 days before the wedding, when another florist dropped the ball. I had originally talked to Marti in the planning stages of the wedding but had naively thought she was too expensive. Looking back on the process, I had asked her to give me a price for the world, and that's what she had given me :) When it came to serious crunch time and all I had was a budget, I told her what my budget was and she told me what was possible. What was possible was beautiful beyond my imagination.

We had so many compliments on the flowers, bouquets and centerpieces. She was even able to do a custom dog collar for my pup for pictures :) She was able to bring my spring garden suggestions to life, within a completely reasonable budget and better than I could have imagined!

Working with Marti was a delight. She listened and interpreted our vision to a "T"!! SHE made the room look beautiful for our daughter's wedding reception with her gorgeous centerpieces, floral table runners, candlelight, small accent arrangements for the bar area and more. Marti provided all the flowers for the wedding. Her work is phenomenal. It is no wonder she has been featured on website such as Style Me Pretty!! She doesn't work from a look book which might not work for everyone BUT she will take inspiration pictures and design the look around that. I was so amazed when I walked into the room for the first time and saw the centerpieces. It was exactly what I had wanted! She is amazing.

Marti was wonderful to work with, super creative, and the out come of the day wouldn't of been better without her!! She's amazing and you should hire her because she's super talented and have a great eye for decor. She not only did my bridal parties bouquets and boutonniere but she did the entire decor, which turned out BEAUTIFULLY!! She can definitely take on a whole look for the entire day, something out of the box and make it work!! She's amazing, easy to talk to, and get got the job done wonderfully!! Perfect Florals for My Perfect Day.......

My experience with Marti's Floral Designs was a 10 out of 10! From the moment I met with Marti, I knew I would be working with her. She instantly got the concept of what I was looking for and even offered great suggestions on enhancing the overall feel and look of the wedding. During the planning process, she was timely and responsive. On the day of our wedding, she was early, delivered and setup everything just as we had discussed and when I saw the reception, I was comletely overwhelmed at how beautiful it was. I would recommend Marti's Floral Designs to any bride planning their perfect day! This was one of my best vendor experiences and even though we are not planning any weddings anytime soon, I plan on working with Marty on other events in the future!

Marti was OUTSTANDING to work with. She provided me with the most gorgeous dahlias for my wedding day and went to great lengths to do so. She was so responsive to all of my questions, did a wonderful job of reassuring me that things would be just as I wanted them (which is exactly what happened!), and was so fun to work with! Seeing my flowers for the first time as I arrived at the church was such an exciting moment--they were perfect. I contacted Marti after a disappointing meeting I had with ANOTHER florist; The other florist shot down all of my ideas & gave me every excuse as to why I shouldn't do it the way I had dreamed. After I contacted Marti, I briefly told her what kind of flowers I envisioned for the wedding & Bridal party, she immediately responded with the perfect ideas! It was like she Read my mind, she even picked all of my favorite flowers! Everything was gorgeous, the Flowers were Fresh & Vibrant! And she took the time to make our table arrangements Look Perfect. My Husband & I were in awe when we first entered the reception room! Word got out & all of the employees at the venue had to stop by the room to see the amazing work she had done! We had so many compliments on the flowers & look of our wedding.
Marti was so great to work with, very professional and artistic.
I would highly recommend her business to anyone looking for an amazing florist!

I had a wonderful experience with Marti's Floral Designs. I had given Marti a feeling that I wanted to portray, with no specific ideas. Marti is AMAZING!!! I told her that I wanted a "vintage" theme and she ran with it! She was the creative genius behind my entire wedding reception. People all night commented on the originality of all the flowers, the candy bar, the picture wall, the vintage typewriter/guest book. Even the lady at the church who sees multiple weddings a weekend said the flowers were the prettiest she had ever seen!

I was thrilled with the flowers for my wedding day. They were truly my favorite part of the wedding. Marti took my ideas for my wedding flowers and elevated it to more than I could imagine. I got so many compliments on the bouquets and centerpieces. On top of that, Marti was great to work with. She stepped in four months before my wedding when my other florist disappeared (with my deposit!) She responded to emails quickly, was really helpful and flexible with changes/new requests, and worked with my budget. I couldn't have asked for more and would definitely recommend Marti for other Cincinnati area brides!

Marti was an absolute amazing vendor to work with for my wedding! She made me feel confidant in my choices and in the fact that she would pull off something absolutely unique and personalized just for our style and taste. Nothing at our wedding was cookie cutter that could be seen at any other event on a Saturday night! She didn't have a book of arrangements to say, pick which ones you want...we drew pictures, pulled ideas from other resources and created something personal and one of a kind. The quality of the materials she used were nothing but the best and the craftsmanship of the arrangements was flawless. Everything was set up and ready to go by the time we walked into the ceremony and reception and the wow factor the night of the reception was spot on to what we wanted! Marti was very easy to work with and has a really fun outlook on weddings. Her personality made such a stressful planning process a breeze. I'd recommend her to anyone who is looking for their very own unique wedding that is anything but what you saw at the wedding you went to last!

Marti's Floral Designs is absolutely top of the line. Everyone was completely stunned by how incredibly gorgeous the flower arrangements were at our wedding. Marti not only offers exceptional flower knowledge and has connections as to where to get the freshest flowers, she also inherently knows which ones will work best seasonally in each particular location, etc.

However, beyond that, what I found most valuable is that she has a natural, artistic, design talent that is unparalleled. The main reason people are still talking about our flowers is because her designs blew our minds away, they was so gorgeous!!

She's extremely gifted in knowing what looks fantastic together and it shows in all her work. I knew she was really good at what she does, so we basically gave her the colors and direction we wanted to go and then allowed her to follow her instincts. It was like watching Claude Monet paint a masterpiece. The outcome literally took all of our breath away. On top of all that, she's has an easy going personality and was a delight to work with, highly recommended!

I had a very specific vision for my wedding flowers and décor, so I searched high and low for a floral designer that had an artistic eye. I was absolutely thrilled when I found Marti. Her work is exquisite and she does everything possible to give you what you want. My bouquets were more beautiful than I could have imagined and she was even able to do a trellis for me last minute. I was literally speechless when I saw it because it looked like something out of a celebrity wedding. She has a natural artistry that is beyond compare. Choosing Marti was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding.

Gorgeous wedding thanks to Marti Heard!

Marti did a BEAUTIFUL job designing florals for our wedding on 9/4. With vendors managing crazy schedules this wedding season & flower shortages due to the pandemic, we were a little nervous going into the day - all I can say is that we were right to trust Marti because everything looked absolutely spectacular! All the arrangements were stunning and exactly what I was envisioning - I especially loved the florals Marti used for our chuppah, which made for a gorgeous ceremony! As someone who knows nothing about flowers and has very little design skills, I could not be happier with the way Marti brought my vision to life. I highly HIGHLY recommend working with her!

Flower Dynamo

After partnering professional with Marti on events, she was the clear choice to handle the flowers at my own wedding. What I love about her is that she always gets excited about my ideas and takes them even further than I could imagine. She's also flexible and understanding that events change and evolve as they are planned. We loved the work she did on our personal and event flowers (she even styled the tables and set up all the candles) and encourage you to hire her if you want to work with one of the most dynamic florists in the Cincinnati area.

We had high hopes for Marti’s Floral Designs. The center pieces, flowers for the bridal party and the bride flowers were very pretty. Unfortunately, the flowers were delivered late, thus none of the pre-wedding pictures include flowers. The flowers for the groom party were not what was ordered, as we were told the flowers didn’t clear customs. The groom party flowers ended up being roses that fell apart within 2 hours of being delivered. We contacted the business to express our concerns, yet it took over 6 weeks to receive a refund for the groom party flowers. We tried to email and call the business, yet responses to our concerns were often ignored or went unanswered for weeks at a time. Perhaps our experience was just a fluke, yet very disappointed in the service for the amount of money that was spent.
