Marriott Ranch was an amazing venue for our wedding. It was pleasure working with Stephanie Ryan and her team make the whole process seamless and relaxing process to get married. I highly recommend this location for wedding venue.

Our son’s wedding from start to finish, the staff at Marriott Ranch were AWESOME!! From the wedding rehearsal dinner, to the wedding day activities, to the after party, to the morning after breakfast, EVERYTHING was phenomenal!! The venue is breathtaking! The food prep and serving staff were awesome, as was the food!! Andrea and Stephanie definitely made us feel at home the entire weekend. If you’re planning a wedding, this is the place. We’ll DEFINITELY be back!!😎

We had such an amazing time at the Marriott Ranch for our wedding weekend! First, Stephanie was wonderful to work with. She gave us a tour, arranged our tasting, and answered our many questions before the wedding. We really appreciated how kind and helpful she was, and the entire wedding day went incredibly smoothly. The rest of the Marriott staff members were excellent too. Andrea, the innkeeper, made sure that we and our families were taken care of; everyone who stayed there really appreciated it. Second, we chose the Marriott Ranch because of its incredible views. We fell in love with the property when we first visited. The mountain views were fantastic during our rehearsal dinner and on our wedding day. We especially loved how our sunset photos turned out with the mountains in the distance. Finally, the food was excellent (everyone loved the rehearsal dinner and wedding dinner), and the waitstaff and bar staff did a great job. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I honestly have no words for how fantastic this venue was. Stephanie was always so attenuative and answered the many many questions my mom and I had. The staff were all so great and respectful. The food was so delicious and the drinks as well! The view, doesn't get any better. It did rain on our wedding day but there was a back up plan and it still turned out so beautiful. Would 1000 percent recommend this venue!

We began shopping for a wedding venue over 1 year ago and happen to find this hidden gem, the Marriott Ranch in Hume, Virginia. I recall the Saturday, we were out visiting 2 scheduled appointments in Haymarket and in Front Royal and decided to take a back road home to decompress and think about all the venues in mind for the celebration and big day. There were many places, a solid 2 in consideration, some far, others near home base.

We happen to stumble onto the back side of the Marriott Ranch, and paid a short visit to the location, thinking it wasn't really possible. Immediately, the bride and groom fell in love with the place, and so we set an appointment to understand the logistics, costs, and availability. Working with Stephanie initially and throughout the year, she was patient, kind, and timely with information and communication, knowing the emotion on such a day!

I found confirmation with many, saying the Marriott Ranch is/was the place for a wedding or corporate event...they have many activities to accommodate most or all requests for guests and visitors alike, from jeeping, horseback riding, and more!! I now join the ranks to recommend the Marriott Ranch, along with their hotel chains as being the best in the business of hospitality, lodging, and food!!!

Stephanie at Marriott Ranch is phenomenal! She and her team were perfect from the very first meeting to the last guest leaving on the wedding day... EVERYTHING they did with the highest levels of service and attention to detail. The venue is in a spectacular and easy to access location, with breathtaking views, affordable menus, overnight accommodations, etc. If you are looking for a turnkey solution, THIS is your place, and it fit our budget!! If you are shopping for venues, go visit Marriott Ranch and see what all they have to offer, they will work with you, so don't just go off the info on the website... have an actual conversation with Stephanie, tell her your vision and they will bring it all to fruition for you!!!

My husband and I found the Ranch during the 2020 pandemic. Despite that, they were able to meet with us and plan an amazing October 2021 wedding. Louise was so responsive, so kind, and has years of experience to help navigate the details and day of planning. Everything felt like southern charm and like "home." The process leading up to the wedding was seamless. They were flexible and patient as we made changes along the way. Day of, it RAINED, but that did not stop them from seeing what I as the bride wanted and making the day still amazing and seamless. All of the staff was there to help myself, the wedding party, and guests any moment. I could not have asked for a better day.

We booked the whole weekend and it was SO worth it. To have those rooms, meals with each other, and just the ease of getting ready the day of, highly recommend.

I cannot say enough great things about the entire team. And the photos, WOW is that venue amazing for dreamy photos. :)

We were so thrilled with the Marriott Ranch as a place to hold the rehearsal dinner for the bride and groom. We had to plan the event from out of state and did not actually see the venue until the day before the event, so we were somewhat apprehensive about how things would turn out. All we can say is that things went perfectly; the venue was beautiful, the staff at the event were incredibly helpful, and Stephanie, who coordinated things for the Marriott was a gem - when she said something would get done, it got done, and done right. The Marriott Ranch is in a beautiful part of the country and we would recommend it as either a rehearsal dinner or wedding venue.

I am so glad my husband and I chose The Marriott Ranch as our wedding venue. The Marriott Ranch is just gorgeous and we love their on site accommodations. Our guests were raving about the rustic feel, beautiful scenery, and delicious food. Having the ranch also cater the wedding food made the whole process easier and they were great about having vegetarian options. Additionally, the ranch worked seamlessly with our vendors like photographer (Sarah Botta Photography) and wedding cake provider (Sweet Pearlz Cheesecakes). Their coordinator, Louise, Ramsey, is just lovely. She answered all of my questions and made sure that everything ran smoothly from our first meeting through our wedding weekend. Louise was adamant that a bride should be relaxed on her wedding day, which was much appreciated. I would strongly recommend The Marriott Ranch for those looking for a fantastic, friendly, and BEAUTIFUL wedding venue for any season, especially fall. Our wedding was picture perfect and we couldn't be happier with our venue.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience getting married at Marriott Ranch! The setting, location, and amenities were very beautiful and romantic. The venue includes the food and bar, which decreased the number of vendors and extra tasks we needed to coordinate with and made our planning much less complicated. The wedding coordinator, Louise and the other staff were exceptionally helpful to us during our planning process, which ended up being caught in unique circumstances. We originally scheduled our wedding for April 2020 but had to postpone it two weeks before our scheduled date due to COVID-19. Louise worked with us during the uncertainty of the pandemic to reschedule and downsize our event to ensure that it could take place as safely as possible. Her experience coordinating many weddings at Marriott Ranch, combined with her organizational abilities and responsiveness were a calming force for us. She and the other staff were also very helpful in providing vegan options for ourselves and several of our guests. We would recommend the Marriott Ranch to anyone and look forward to returning to stay at the B&B for our anniversaries in the future!

I would recommend this venue to anyone 100x ! The beautiful mountain backdrop and reception pavilion made it an evening to never forget! Couldn’t have asked for a better venue and wedding Cordinator to turn my dreams into a reality !

I would like to thank the staff at The Marriott Ranch Bed & Breakfast for my dream wedding. Special thanks to Louise who saw my vision and brought Hawaii to Virginia. We were blown away how our wedding turned out! The day, venue and experience was perfect! My sister had her wedding at the Marriott ranch and now I had mine. I would highly recommend this venue to others. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!

We got married at the Marriott Ranch on October 6, 2018. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all on site. It was an amazing venue that we can not say enough good things about!

We met with Jennifer over a year and a half ago to talk to her about potentially having our wedding at the ranch. We instantly loved the feel of the bed and breakfast and having all of our close friends and family stay with us for our wedding weekend. You can't beat the views either! The pavilion felt like just the place where we could have our guests celebrate with us. Jennifer was amazing at staying on top of everything and answering all of our questions. We loved our times with her for our tasting and to check out the spaces for our rehearsal dinner.

Our wedding day was beyond magical! We took an early morning walk with our families and saw the cattle and the donkeys. Throughout the day, we felt pampered by all of the staff and were so at ease knowing that all of our preparations were now in good hands. All of the staff work together wonderfully to put out a beautiful event. Louise and Jennifer really do make an awesome team!

It was pretty difficult to get transportation for our other guests who were staying at the closest hotel (Hampton Inn Front Royal), which was about 35 minutes away, but we managed to find a school bus that could hold all of our guests so there could be one trip to and from the Marriott Ranch.

We loved how intimate and personal it felt having our wedding at the Marriott Ranch. It truly felt like a home away from home and we are SO glad we picked it for our special day! Thank you for amazing memories that will last us a lifetime!

WOW! I would never consider going to any other venue. Talk about service and ambiance! The Marriott Team makes you feel like absolute royalty when you are there. Louise has been amazing in helping with everything and being there for us when we have questions and requests. This venue and location is jaw dropping and our guests were in absolute amazement. The food from beginning to end is FANTASTIC (including the portions), the service in incomparable, and the views are truly priceless.

We heard repeatedly that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to and it was thanks to Louise and the Marriott Team!

We had our wedding weekend at the Marriott Ranch and invited 28 of our special friends to stay with us on the ranch for the whole weekend. The views on the ranch are simply breathtakingly spectacular. The ranch is surrounded 360 degrees by the blue ridge mountains. The staff at the ranch, especially Louise and Andrea catered to our every need. Our friends had such a great time. We had a welcome wine/cheese party on Friday night, a delicious country breakfast Saturday morning, followed by lawn games, like volleyball, corn hole, and shuffleboard. We had a sandwich platter lunch in the afternoon before everyone departed to their rooms to get ready for the wedding. The wedding itself was so beautiful. The only snafu was that I lost our wedding rings an hour before our ceremony, however Louise went beyond our expectations and got two metal detectors and is in the process of scouring the lawn to look for them for us. Now, if that's not service, I don't know what is. We did a semi-custom menu for our wedding. We selected some items from their menu, provided some recipes, and gave them ideas of foods we liked, such as a chicken with a fruity, balsamic glaze (they came up with a strawberry balsamic glaze that was to die for). The food for our wedding was so beyond our expectations, we got so many compliments. In fact, the onsite caterer obsessed over one of the recipes I sent her to make sure it was absolutely perfect for us, and she nailed it. The cost of our wedding included all of the rooms for the entire weekend, breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday, lunch platters, catering, bar, rentals, setup, and more. We had such an amazing time during our entire stay, and all of our friends had a wonderful time, many of whom said this was the best wedding they ever attended. They really treated us like royalty the entire time we were there.

We had a very small intimate wedding with just our closest family and friends. Louise was very quick to get back to me, make suggestions when needed, and she was honest when she didn't think something would work - this was fantastic for me, as I am not a planner. Because of our small size and pre-wedding season wedding, we were able to change our dates when we learned not everyone could come and we were also able to have everything indoors when it flurried the morning of the wedding. Everyone who attended agreed it was the perfect wedding!

It's hard to find the words to describe our experience with Marriott Ranch. Our wedding coordinator, Jennifer was so helpful and professional. She made the day go so smoothly! The fact that we could have our wedding party and parents stay on site was so great. The chef for Marriott Ranch was fantastic, I wish I could eat like that daily. Stop what you are doing and go see Marriott Ranch. It is the absolute best!

Both the Marriott Ranch and the event coordinator there, Jennifer, are simply amazing. I could not be happier with my decision to have the wedding of my dreams there, and Jennifer made the planning process so fun and easy. The weekend package is definitely the way to go because there is no shortage of fun activities and relaxing areas to occupy your time, and getting to spend the weekend with the awesome staff is just the icing on the cake. Thank you Marriott Ranch for the beautiful memories.

We are so thankful to Marriott Ranch for the WONDERFUL job they did on our daughter's wedding! The staff at the ranch is beyond incredible - so helpful and attentive. Our guests are still talking about the delicious food at the reception and how lovely the entire venue was. We would recommend Marriott Ranch to anyone planning a wedding or corporate event.

If I could give it 10 stars I would. From the first meeting to the day after my daughter's wedding, I couldn't have asked for anything more. Jennifer Seo and her team are simply the best ever.

We did the weekend wedding package and this is a must do for all bridal parties. It started with a wine and cheese
welcome reception on Friday and continued until the farewell breakfast on Sunday. An absolutely perfect weekend.

The rooms are terrific! The rehearsal and dinner were fantastic. Great cook out/picnic food all at Western Town. Breakfast both days was just darn good. Lunch was simple and just what we all needed to get through until the wedding at 5.

And then the rain came. It poured. Buckets. It thundered very loudly. It lighteninged (is that a word?) a lot. However, that didn't stop Jen and the staff from making a seamless transition from outside on the lawn to down to the pavilion. Incredibly done and quickly also. Good thing we moved inside as it continued to rain until about 9pm.

The reception! What can I say but it was fabulously splendid. The food was so tasty. The drinks were devine. The decor was beautiful. Everything was perfectly perfect in every single way, including the rain.

Oh and horseback riding Sunday was a perfect way to end the weekend. I highly recommend this activity.

The staff is probably the friendliest I've ever come across. Hands down the nicest, most sincere, most willing to help EVER. Oh and they hug also. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to them, they made our daughter's wedding weekend so special.

Needless to say, we had a fabulous, amazingly awesome weekend.

We will return. Can't thank you ALL enough.

Words cannot describe the beauty of this venue. My guests were awestruck. We enjoyed a beautiful Friday check in experience and our guests were treated to a wine and cheese hour before our wedding rehearsal. On our wedding day the Ranch staff was beyond helpful. They provided a delicious sit down breakfast and lunch buffet. They checked in on our bridal party throughout the day to see if needed more water, coffee, trash taken away, towels, etc. On the morning of the wedding our groomsmen participated in the clay target shooting and loved it, its a great way to get the guys up and ready for the day! Moving through the day to our wedding ceremony, amazing!! the coordinators kept us on time, our cocktail hour and reception food was absolutely amazing. Our food was a highlight of the day. Our planning process was very smooth as well! They were flexible with us on our menu options and chair set up for the ceremony. Overall an amazing venue that you need to check out if you are in the Northern Virginia area!!!

Danny was a true pleasure to work with and your staff could not have been nicer, more helpful and willing to do whatever needed to be done the nite of the Rehearsal dinner. They certainly took all the last minute details off my plate which was a huge help and allowed me to spend time with and enjoy all the guests. They took charge without much direction from me and just did what had to be done and then some. They were so friendly and helpful I could not have asked for better. Perfect place for a rustic wedding! Love Marriott Ranch! From start to finish we are extremely happy with our experience with Marriott Ranch. Location is gorgeous! Staff is extremely professional, easy to work with and goes above and beyond to make you happy. Food was amazing, which was the most important thing to my husband! Kept hearing from wedding guests, "How did you find this place?" And, "This place is gorgeous!" Perfect all in one spot! Rooms on the property, different venue spots for weekend events, wedding and reception within walking distance.

We got married early September 2016 and rented out Marriott Ranch for our wedding party to spend the weekend as well as host our rehearsal dinner, and cater our wedding at Rappahannock Cellars. Louise was a dream to work with and allowed us to pick and choose details to make the event what we wanted.

The food was over the top good – more than I expected it to be. They helped with linens and plates and glasses – the whole 9 yards. The staff at the Ranch – both catering and BnB were always friendly and happy to lend a hand to make our weekend magical.

The venue is gorgeous – we actually took the majority of our wedding photos outside of the Ranch, rather than the winery reception venue. The old trees and southern porch on the Manor House are a great background.

We will absolutely be coming back to the Ranch in the future. I would absolutely recommend Marriott Ranch for your events.

Our daughter was married to a young man from the West Coast on the front lawn of Marriott Ranch this summer in front of the ancient tree with the beautiful mountains surrounding us. What a lovely setting! Our family stayed at the main house and annex and the groom's family stayed in the new farmhouse for two nights. I am so grateful for this time that we had to get to know the groom's family before the wedding. Sometimes, there is an awkwardness at weddings when two families don't know each other, but these several days provided us the opportunity to form strong bonds between two families-West Coast and East Coast. We played lawn games, and utilized the smoking room with card games, and the fire pit outside provided a great place to gather the two families in the evening.
Wine and a cheese and fruit plate with crackers was offered to guests arriving for the rehearsal and it was a wonderful time together in the living room of the main house. The rehearsal dinner was a pasta bar that was not only delicious, but also creative and colorful.
The "breakfast" part of the Bed and Breakfast was delicious and offered another opportunity for the two families to mingle in the dining room of the main house. The staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous.
The high ceilings and vintage awesomeness of the rooms upstairs provided a wonderful, spacious, and memorable place for the bride and her bridesmaids to prepare for the wedding. The beautiful, wide staircase made a spectacular first glimpse of the bride as she descended to the families and wedding party gathered inside, preparing to walk down the aisle.
Fruit infused water and lemonade was offered to the wedding guests as they arrived which was refreshing and also pleasing to the eye. Guests were raving about the gorgeous setting for the ceremony. Louise was very professional and helpful in getting everyone in the places and down the aisle at the right moment. She was wonderful to work with.

We had our wedding at the Marriott Ranch this past April and we can't recommend this place enough! The entire weekend was absolutely perfect and I truly believe that was due to the experienced staff at the ranch. I felt that they took care of us and treated us like family which set this venue apart from all others. Not only was the service and food top notch, but the venue itself is just beautiful, I’d highly suggest visiting in person. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking with 360 degree views of rolling hills and mountains. Our guests were amazed and couldn’t stop saying how gorgeous the backdrop was. The assistance received during the planning process was phenomenal, we loved working with Louise Ramsey. She was always available to answer any questions we had and she provided so many helpful suggestions and ideas. I honestly didn’t have to worry about a thing on my wedding day as I knew that Louise and her staff would have executed everything flawlessly. We took advantage of the entire ranch by reserving all of the rooms in all 3 buildings and it worked out perfectly for our bridal party and family. It almost felt like a destination wedding, even though it’s just a short hour drive from DC. Everyone loved the comfortable spacious rooms, especially in the new farmhouse. Also, having breakfast provided each morning and lunch provided on the wedding day was a treat. We loved the food so much that we had the ranch cater our rehearsal dinner at Rappahhannock Cellars, right down the road. They offered us a lovely customized tasting and we were amazed how talented and versatile the Chef was. We requested a Lebanese inspired menu and we truly felt that we were eating at an authentic Lebanese restaurant, they nailed it! I also loved that the food was so elegantly displayed. We were so pleased with how everything turned out on our wedding day, it couldn't have gone more smoothly. We can't sing enough praises for the ranch turning our dream wedding into a reality.

EVERYONE at Marriott Ranch made my son's wedding absolutely perfect. The venue is beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. Hat's off to the chef, the food was wonderful. If you want the best wedding, I 100% recommend Marriott Ranch.

We had the absolute wedding of our dreams at Marriott Ranch. We're still hearing from our guests about how beautiful it was. We worked with Jennifer and I seriously would have gone crazy without her. She was so accommodating, so helpful and responsive, it was just such a nice relief to not have to stress about the details. You really can't go wrong here, the entire staff is amazing, the venue couldn't be more beautiful if it tried. True magic and worth every penny!

My daughter and her husband were married at The Marriott Ranch, May 21, 2016. The entire weekend was magical and relaxing. Louise Ramsey met with us as many times as we needed to before the wedding weekend so that everything would run smoothly. She was kind, helpful and professional. She really knows her business and people well. Her advice was valuable in providing a fun, relaxing but still elegant weekend. Our wedding party and wedding guest felt right at home. The entire staff at The Marriott were kind, welcoming and professional. If you are looking for a venue that offers beautiful views, delicious food and a friendly professional staff, you should look at having your wedding at The Marriott Ranch.

We had planned our wedding to take place nearby at a private house, and were working with the Marriott Ranch as our caterer. In the end we made the decision to move our wedding ceremony and reception to the Ranch for more space and comfort for our guests. Louise worked with us to give us everything we wanted for our special day. The venue itself was so beautiful and the service we received was excellent. I cannot say enough good things about having my wedding at the Marriott Ranch, it was perfect in every way. They also catered our rehearsal dinner and housed a number of our guests for the weekend, they really took care of everything!

My husband and I got married at the Marriott Ranch on July 11, 2015. It was the most magical, wonderful day of our entire lives! The Marriott Ranch provides you with the opportunity to not only get married on their property, but spend the entire weekend there with your family and friends! They provide you with a rehearsal dinner space, breakfast and lunch for your inn guests, a ceremony and reception space, as well as linens and catering. This venue is the absolute best value you will find. The scenery is breathtaking, the food is to die for, and the service is top notch and beyond! Louise was our wedding day coordinator, also provided by the ranch, and from the first day we met, I knew she'd be wonderful to work with. She was always so accommodating and supportive, and made certain she knew our vision so she could help bring it to life. The other coordinators there were also present on our wedding day and were equally as wonderful! The staff at the Marriott Ranch is incredible! They really go above and beyond to make sure you and your guests are comfortable, well fed, and happy. They truly make you feel right at home. Our day was made perfect by the organization and smooth deliverance of service topped with the positivity beaming from all the ranch staff. They really seem to find joy in helping make your dream a reality. From the time we booked to the day after our wedding when we drove away, I never felt an ounce of stress. The Marriott Ranch staff kept me at ease. They are very creative, helpful, and laid back in the sense that they keep you calm and take on whatever it takes to leave you assured that things will turn out exactly how you want. They happily took care of just about everything! I could go on forever with praise after praise, and still no amount of positive words could be enough to describe our experience. The best decision I made by far was choosing the Marriott Ranch as our wedding venue! The worst part was driving away knowing it was all over. =[

I had my dream wedding at Marriott Ranch June 27th and it was PERFECT!! Louise Ramsey, Chelsea, and the rest of the staff were just so fantastic. Louise really worked so hard to make sure everything I had always been envisioning for my wedding day came to fruition. From the perfect linens and decor, to the delicious food, to the most gorgeous venue ever, everything was absolutely perfect! Even the fact that it poured on my wedding day (something I had been fearful of since we picked an outdoor wedding) and we had to move the ceremony from under the big, beautiful oak trees to the awesome pavilion couldn't mess up how beautiful and perfect this venue and our wedding experience was. I am so grateful that we found this amazing place to have our wedding and celebrate with all of our friends and family. Not just the wedding, but the whole weekend there was perfect. The old manor house onsite where I stayed with my bridesmaids and best friends was so comfortable and inviting. It was all just everything I could have ever asked for on my wedding day. You will not be disappointed having your wedding day here!! It is a breathtaking venue surrounded by nature and perfect for your wedding, rain or shine!!

We utilized the Marriott Ranch for our wedding weekend. We were able to rent the property for the weekend, providing our wedding party comfortable accommodations and centralized gathering location.

We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at the Ranch. The food was outstanding, and we featured several menus. We can't say enough about the vision of Louise Ramsey. She went above and beyond to meet with us, help us coordinate our menu, ceremony set up, and reception floorplan. She assisted us in selecting the best linens to transform the lovely pavilion which serves as an on-site back up in the case of inclement weather.

Louise recommended that because of the weather forecast (high 90s), we consider using portable air conditioners to make the pavilion more comfortable for our guests. If you are having a summer wedding (or a wedding in high heat), this is the BEST investment the Ranch offers. Our guests were comfortable, and everyone was able to comfortably celebrate. We are confident that had we lacked air conditioning in the pavilion many of our guests would have departed. The design was unobtrusive and fit seamlessly.

The Manor House has four bedrooms, three of which have two beds, and one of which has a king bed. Additionally the property has three exterior rooms, two of which have two beds, and one of which is a suite with a king bed and a living room. The staff were phenomenal in making guests comfortable, and provided excellent food for our overnight guests.

Many of our guests said our wedding was the prettiest they had seen, and we owe that to the Ranch. The views are incredible, and the facilities are perfect. We are beyond happy!

This place was amazing. The staff was wonderful, helpful, and made everything special. The food was awesome and the price was the best. Not only do you get the best place but an awesome menu selection. The event planner Stephanie is the best. She stepped in last minute to help me finish decorating and prepping for my daughters wedding. They whole place is great. This is the full package deal here. Everything here is perfect for a beautiful day and even better pics! The views every direction are spectacular!! I can't say enough how much I appreciate everything the Marriott Ranch did for my daughters wedding, amazing, fabulous, beautiful, delicious, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, I could go on and on!!! Thank you !!!!!

PERFECTION - SURPASSED OUR EVERY EXPECTATION!
We held our daughter's wedding at the Ranch May 30 through June 1. From the rehearsal dinner on Friday night to our final departure breakfast on Sunday morning, the staff was attentive and accommodating. The theme was rustic, yet elegant, and Stephanie and her crew were awesome! As the Mother of the Bride, I was very attune to all the details, but Stephanie had it under control and TOTALLY relieved me of any worry. The staff and the food are second to none! Without fail all of our guests remarked about the beauty of the grounds and the Manor House and how delicious the food was. Marriott Ranch offers a romantic and pastoral setting with world class views of the mountains. But the most important aspect of any recommendation I can make is the fact that the bride and groom were ecstatic. The venue was perfect for their dream wedding and I can never thank the Marriott Ranch staff enough for helping us make that a reality for our daughter.

My husband and I got married on June 1, 2013 and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results of our wedding at the Marriott Ranch. I highly recommend this location.

We had the ceremony outside under the gorgeous oak tree, which was an amazing backdrop for pictures. And we hosted our reception in the rustic and chic newly renovated pavilion.

The newly renovated pavilion really added to the whole feel of elegance for the reception. After dinner Many guests gravitated to hanging user the trellis and gabled roof area. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the view and still hear the music from the dance floor and still feel that you're part of the wedding festivities. Just completed a few weeks ago its a terrific addition to the pavilion!

The food was delicious, staff super friendly, and the service was superb. Louise was our wedding coordinator and she was a sage adviser throughout the process and a calming force during the wedding frenzy.

It was very convenient and nice to have our immediate family/wedding party stay on-site at the Ranch. The rooms are charming and although some of the bathrooms are small, they are lovely and a small bathroom is a small price to pay for staying in such a charming venue.

I am so thankful that we selected the Ranch as our wedding location and would absolutely look to host other events at this location. All of our friends were impressed and said how gorgeous the location was. Our immediate family is already talking about going back to the ranch to stay next year for a weekend together (without the craziness of throwing an entire wedding).

If you're even considering having your wedding at he Ranch I encourage you to go and visit because the pictures on the website don't do it justice.

The staff at the Ranch was superb. They were all extremely nice and were around to help and find ways to make us comfortable and happy.

I never expected it to be so easy. Louise Ramsey (the coordinator at the ranch) made sure EVERYTHING about my wedding ran smoothly! The ranch was GORGEOUS! Everything was clean and the staff was so nice and helpful! I cannot say anything negative about this place and the staff, they were incredible. I would recommend the Marriott Ranch to everyone!! I had SO many compliments and the guests absolutely loved it!

The Marriott Ranch was the perfect location for our wedding!! Stephanie was a godsend - she was so helpful from beginning to end. Everything went off without a hitch and no detail was overlooked. It was absolutely wonderful!!

The Marriott Ranch was outstanding! The food, service, etc. was all exceptional and we had so many guests comment on how wonderful everything was. We were able to have the exact wedding we wanted, and they were very flexible when there was a strong chance of rain but we still wanted to try and hold the ceremony outside. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue and I strongly recommend the Marriott Ranch!

The Marriott Ranch was incredible. We couldn't have asked for a better location to get married. Our wedding coordinator Louise was there for us every step of the way. Our day would not have been perfect without her. Everyone that worked our wedding weekend was helpful and accommodating. Our guest enjoyed their rooms, the food, and hospitality. I would highly recommend this location to anyone that is looking for a beautiful outdoor location.

We had a small wedding with a fair number of unique requests, and the team at the Marriott Ranch handled them all seamlessly. They were flexible and professional from start to finish. We wanted an intimate gathering, in a calm place, and wanted the whole thing to be as stress-free as possible; we got it all, and at a very fair price. They even made recommendations for vendors in the area when we needed a few. They are set up to handle weddings of all sizes, and many of our guests commented on how good the food was for our rehearsal dinner and brunch (post-ceremony).

My wedding at the Marriott Ranch was exactly what I had dreamed of and hoped for. If you are looking for an urban, swanky, glamorous space, then keep looking - this is not your venue. But if you are looking for a venue that is a bit unique, in a lush country environment, and feels more like a family gathering than a formal event, then you will love this place.

I hesitate to even use the word "country" because some people have connotations of "backwoods", or they envision something that is kind of homespun and not elegant. Marriott Ranch does not fit that mold. It combines the natural beauty of the Shenandoah Valley with the customer service and attention to detail that you would expect of the Marriott brand. It feels upscale without being pretentious.

A few of my favorite things:
- Louise, their onsite wedding coordinator. She is such a pro. Calm demeanor, years of experience. She will ask you lots of questions during your planning process, but that's because she plans everything to the last detail and this allows you and your guests the luxury of sitting back and just letting the weekend happen and having fun.
- The food! All of it! From the yummy scones, cookies, fruit, and beverages served when guests arrived on Friday (a substitute she allowed us to make as we are not really wine and cheese people), to the delicious BBQ rehearsal dinner, to the buffet served at the reception, everything was amazing. Their scalloped potatoes made a believer out of me - I never liked them before I tried the Ranch's.
- The general feel or vibe of the weekend was super intimate and cozy. Several guests commented to me how this wedding was different from any other they had ever attended - this one felt so relaxed and cozy. That was the ultimate compliment to me, because that is exactly how I wanted our guests to feel.

I am such a fan of the Marriott Ranch. I can't wait to go back with my (now) husband and reminisce about the best weekend of our lives.

Marriott was a dream team to work with. They did an excellent job throughout our wedding weekend, and we would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for a flexible, professional caterer. The shrimp and grits were exceptional!

My Daughters dream wedding was at the Marriot Ranch August 13th. The accomodations and staff were steller. Jennifer was fantastic. She was professional and always a step ahead of us in the planning, throughout the weekend and during the wedding. Both my daughter and the parents felt as stress free as possible with confidence that Jennifer had every detail accounted for and under control. The food was wonderful, facility and service as you expect from the Marriot with a very personal touch. The whole family staying at the ranch for the weekend truely made it a family wedding and sets this venue apart from all others we looked at. We felt we all shared in the biggest day of my daughters life, staying at the Marriot Family's home for the weekend. Thank you so much for helping me earn my title as "the greatest dad ever"

Awesome, awesome, awesome food! Months after our wedding we still get comments about how good the food was! We had them cater a "Virginia BBQ" for our casual rehearsal dinner and then we had the tastiest buffet dinner that was made up of their Italian Grilled Flank Steak, Sundried tomato and mascarpone ravioli and pork tenderloin.

It was DELICIOUS!

Louise was always very responsive and professional. She was friendly, upbeat, and we had so much fun with her and the chef at our private tasting. The chef even tried some new things with some of the side dishes and we loved it so much they did it at the wedding too.

We were at the Marriott Ranch for the entirety of our wedding weekend and from the check-in on Friday to the farewell brunch on Sunday, the wedding was everything and more than I could have imagined.

The Marriott Ranch is an absolutely gorgeous setting for any wedding, and we could not have been more thrilled with the location, accommodations and staff for our wedding weekend! It's a great all-in-one venue, so there's no need to worry about handling vendors for catering, linens, etc. Although everything went off perfectly for our wedding, don't expect any reassurance or comfort from their event staff. We worked with Stephanie-- and while she is incredibly sweet and did get the job done--I felt like I always had to ask her about whether or not things were moving along, or whether or not she needed information/money/anything from me. In the end though, all of our guests raved about the setting, the food and the service and we couldn’t have been more pleased! We can’t wait to return for a getaway weekend in the future!

The Marriott Ranch was a beautiful venue for our wedding with a great staff. The coordinator was very helpful, flexible, and easy to work with, but keep in mind there is one person running many events so you may need to follow-up to get answers quicker if they are urgent. The landscape is stunning and guests are still complimenting us on how pretty the venue was. Also, GREAT food!

I worked with Louise for my July wedding, and it turned out perfectly.
The venue location is breathtaking, and the ranch fit our taste perfectly. It was no more and no less than we were looking for. I was getting nervous prior to the wedding because communication seemed to not be a high priority for their office, and I always felt I was bothering them to call with questions, but in the end, I really had nothing to worry about. THey covered all their bases and provided excellent service. The food was wonderful!!

I cannot say enough about how beautiful this location was. We received so many compliments over how beautiful it was and how amazing the views were (late April wedding, 4:30pm ceremony start). The accommodations were fabulous and it was such a unique experience to be able to stay there with some of our closest friends and family. (Their packages include the wedding party staying the night of the wedding, or both the night before and the night of the wedding, depending on what you choose.) It is more economical to choose the one night option but it would be easier, logistically, to choose two nights. A word of warning -- it can be hard to find vendors in the Northern Virginia who will deliver there, however, we were able to pay extra to most to ensure everything arrived. Long & short of it is, we had a wonderful wedding and reception and having such an amazing venue was definitely a huge part of that.

The Marriott Ranch is a beautiful venue which provides a great value for your money. They are flexible and offer their time to be responsive to questions.

The venue is absolutely stunning. We had our wedding ceremony on the manor house lawn under the tree and it was beautiful. Our reception was held under the pavilion and it was great as well. We chose the Romance in Hunt Country Wedding Package and stayed the night Friday and Saturday. It was nice having the entire wedding party on site for the weekend. Overall, we had a very memorable fun wedding.

Most beautiful place to have a wedding. The wedding coordinator however is the rudest person I've ever worked with. She was condescending and difficult the entire time. I've never been made to feel so stupid in my life. She would laugh in my face at the simplest questions. It was horrible. She made what was supposed to be a happy time in my life very miserable. She's lucky the venue was so nice or we would've never had our wedding here.
