Marqui is a true artist. She has an exceptional eye for color. She takes her time to study your face and your coloring to find the right makeup to complement the look you desire. Exceptional work -- survived rain, wind, tears!

Marqui did makeup for my fall outdoor civil ceremony. She perfectly matched the look to my hot pink dress and was so fun to work with. Due to the PNW conditions, it had to hold up to wind, rain, and also many tears. She delivered! The touch up kit also had the perfect supplies to keep the look fresh all night. I can't want to work with her again for my big wedding in May.

The best there is!

My experience with Marqui was truly amazing. She fit me in to a slot last minute and came to my location in order to give me extra time for everything else that was needed for my event. She was prompt and her makeup was outstanding. I have truly never felt more beautiful. My makeup was done in the afternoon and lasted all night, I even slept in it and woke up looking fabulous!

Marqui is amazing, artistic and 100 percent reliable. I found her a month before my wedding and she immediately made me feel comfortable over the phone. She also gave me hair and nail recommendations. She knows key people in the business. She made a call for me two weeks before my wedding and hooked me up last minute to someone who could do my hair. Marqui came to my home and my partner and I immediately connected with her again in person. She is lovely. I would hire her again in a heartbeat for a solo gig or a large wedding. Her calm demeanor, make-up expertise and the connection we had with her made our wedding day even better. As she worked with me it was clear she was truly an artist. She is very open to ideas and a great listener too. She is also super organized with her communication portal/text messages. I can't say enough!

Perfect Bridal makeup

Marqui did my makeup as a bridesmaid 6 years ago. And she now did my own bridal makeup. I fell in love with her work and I knew I had to have her for my wedding. She was super flexible, attentive, and provided a great service before the big day. The day of my wedding she did an amazing job with all the bridal party makeup, and I was in love with the results of my makeup. She really heard what I wanted and made it a reality. Gorgeous results, stress-free experience!

I’m so happy Marqui did my wedding makeup — my fiancé said I looked HOT and beautiful!

I’d never had professional makeup done before and didn’t know what to expect, but Marqui made it super easy. She’s fun, professional, and really knows her stuff! I appreciated how clean and hygienic everything was. I wear contact lenses and usually hate anyone fussing with my eyes, but she was so gentle and careful after I mentioned it — no watering or discomfort at all!

From the first call to the preview session, wedding day, and payment—everything went smoothly. My makeup held up perfectly (outdoor ceremony + happy tears!) and looked amazing! There’s no way I could have done this myself!

She also did makeup for the Mother of the Groom and Matron of Honor—both looked fabulous!

If you’re looking for a makeup artist, I highly recommend going with Marqui. She’s brilliant at what she does and truly made a special day even more magical.

Amazing makeup!

Marqui did my makeup for my son’s wedding. I cannot remember feeling that beautiful in a long, long time. The products she used were stellar and lasted all day. She took the time to figure out what each of us wanted and made it happen. Everyone was so pleased with their makeup! Marqui stayed with us all day (the 10 hour package) and was available for touch ups. Her many five star ratings are well deserved and I would recommend her without reservation.

OUTSTANDING makeup artist!!

By far Marqui is the best makeup artist around!! I have worked with her a few times over the years attending photo shoots and weddings. Recently my best friend got married and hired her as our makeup artist and I couldn’t have been happier!! I have always been picky and very particular about others doing my makeup, and she again, blew us ALL away!!! She is extremely professional and lovely to talk with. She accommodated to all of our looks giving us all a beautiful and unique touch. Her flexibility and time management was outstanding, perfecting 7 looks in just a couple hours!! I was sure by the end of the night and many tears later I would’ve looked a mess… but nope!!! Absolutely perfect after the big day and night were over!! Marqui has a true gift!!! She enhances everybody’s natural beauty in the most artistic way! She did me and all my bridesmaids make up for my wedding and let me just say, she did an AMAZING job. I did my trial for my bridal shower and couldn’t be happier with what we came up with. She worked with me to get a look that I was 100% in love with. Best Make-up Artist in the PNW!

Book Marqui for all of your make-up and styling needs! You will be so happy you did! Marqui did make-up for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding in Port Townsend this summer. Out of all my vendors that day, she was the one that really made me feel the most beautiful and excited for our special day! Not only is she extremely talented at what she does, but because of her many years of experience, she worked effortlessly with my other vendors to get everyone ready in time. I did a preview session with her too and both times my makeup looked flawless all day and night. I like a more natural look with a little pop to accent my features, Marqui listened carefully and delivered with the perfect look for me. Marqui was the perfect choice for a makeup artist for my wedding on Whidbey! I appreciated having a chance to do a test run to go through what I wanted before the day and loved getting a chance to meet Marqui ahead of time (she's amazing!)! Such a great start to my wedding day!

Marqui is amazing! I did a makeup trial 2 weeks before my wedding and hardly had to give her any direction since I don't know much about makeup. I basically just shared what I do on a "normal" day for makeup and what I do for a night out/occasion and she took it from there! She did an incredible job, when I looked in the mirror I was so impressed by how she was able to just enhance my look in a very natural way without making me look like someone else. And she did even better on the wedding day, which I couldn't have imagined was possible! She was able to do makeup for my seven bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, and me all in about 5.5 hours - so impressive. Great job at doing makeup to complement my dress

I was the maid of honor and had a beautiful moss green dress. She was somehow able to do the best eyeshadow look to complement the dress. It was shades of green purple and brown. I also loved that she gave us tips for keeping the makeup look going as the day went on.

I was the mother of the bride and ad 3 other daughters as bridesmaids. Authentic Beauty

Marqui did my makeup for my mini-wedding this year, as well as the makeup for a few of my friends and family members. Every person, including myself, was absolutely delighted with their makeup. She asks lots of questions about your daily makeup routine and incorporates this information into her work. Her makeup really captures each person's individual style and photographed beautifully. Something that I really appreciated about her was how responsive she was to feedback. After my trial session I realized that the look, while stunning, was too dramatic for me; Marqui happily listened to my thoughts and was able to make me look authentically beautiful for my wedding day. Korean Make-up On Point!!

Let's get the expected and obvious notes out of the way. Make-up was long lasting: through 12 hours, many tears, and tons of hugs. Marqui's busted through 1 bride, 4 bridesmaids, 2 moms, all within a timely fashion. Her responses to emails and arrival to the venue was prompt and exactly what you want when planning a wedding.

Now for my personal comments, I am asian (Korean) and its always tricky to do our make-up. But Marqui killed it. She knew exactly what I wanted, what my bridesmaids wanted, what the mothers wanted and executed it ALL to the "t". If there was any feedback you might have, she is extremely open to hearing you out and work with you to make you look the absolute best on your day. I have no regrets hiring her and would do it again in a heartbeat. On top of everything else, she is SUPER cool and her vibe is something that helps you feel calm and collected on such a busy and hectic day. Beautiful work and professionalism

Marqui was great to work with. During my trial, I thought I wanted a very natural look, but as the wedding day approached I changed my mind and wanted something with a little more drama. Marqui was able to adapt to my change of vision and executed such a beautiful look; one that was still me and fairly natural, but one that felt more special. As an Asian bride, it can be hard to find someone who knows how to apply eye makeup correctly to my eye shape, but Marqui is an expert and made me feel more beautiful than I've ever felt in my life. The makeup lasted all day and night, I just had to touch up my lipstick a few times. She also did an amazing job on my mom and mother-in-law. They didn't really come in with any sample photos, yet she was able to create beautiful looks for them. For my bridesmaids, she did eye looks that complemented the tone of their dresses and was able to pull off something they would have never been able to do on their own. Thank you so much Marqui!

Amazing Makeup Artist!

Marqui was outstanding to work with! I had a slight wedding nightmare where I had to cancel my makeup artist I had for months two weeks before my wedding but no fear Marqui was there! She responded to me immediately via email and followed up with a phone call. I was able to book her basically within 48 hours. She did a fabulous job at hearing what my bridesmaids, mother, and aunt were looking for and then recreating in her own way! She ended up doing makeup for 6 people and completed everyone on time as well!

Wedding Make-Up

Marqui did an amazing job, not only on my make up, but my bridal party and mom as well. During my trial appointment, we played around with a few different ideas that we weren't how it would look and she was not offended by any means if I told her I didn't like something. On the day of my wedding, she was very prompt and arrived early ready to go. She made sure she had enough time to get through everyone without feeling rushed. We made a few minor changes to my make up on the day of the wedding to give my eyes some added pop and she did such an amazing job accommodating my needs and everyone else's. I would definitely recommend Marqui to anyone looking for make up and she will be the first person to call if I need make up done again :)

Very professional, very personal, highly recommended

As an officiant, I highly recommend Marqui Artistry. She gave me a perfect, polished, understated and lovely look for an outdoor wedding with 150 guests and finessed an exquisite look for our lovely bride, capturing her spirit beautifully. She was relaxed and fun to be in a room with which added to our pre-ceremony preparation.

As an officiant, I often do my own make-up. But on the spur of the moment, I decided to use their service. They were adaptable and willing to add me in. I am so glad I did! Her partner in crime, Davethehair, was equally impressive with how he captured the spirit of the bride's dress and my own, providing perfect do's to us both. Marqui Artistry has a lovely, individualized approach. She kept the bride laughing and light hearted, provided an efficient, friendly, professional service and made an officiant never pass up adding herself to a make-up and hair package for any future weddings! Wonderful!

On the day of my wedding in Whidbey Island, Marqui came to the house we were staying at to do my makeup, my bridesmaids, and my mother in law. She was extremely pleasant and did exactly what we all had asked for. I absolutely loved the elegant yet simple look she gave me for my wedding day and would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to have their makeup done!

Marqui was flexible and did a wonderful job on my wedding makeup, I was told over and over again how beautiful I looked.

As an older bride I was not certain about how any makeup would actually work to enhance my looks for the wedding. Marqui did a wonderful job balancing my need to look natural with the benefit of makeup. I would enthusiastically recommend her.

Wedding Make-up

Marqui was so great to work with. She did my make up for my engagement photos so it was really nice to get to know each other before my wedding. She did many of my bridesmaids make up and my mom/mother-in-law's. She really got to know them as she was doing their make up and everyone looked amazing. My dress was pretty simple and so we did more bold make up and I have to say, it looked amazing in photos. Also, it definitely lasted all day. Highly recommend!

Beautiful makeup!

Marqui was such a joy to work with for my wedding! She made me feel absolutely beautiful! I’m not used to wearing makeup but she gave me a look that felt natural but also special for such a big day! Marqui was wonderful to work with! Neither myself nor my bridesmaids wear make-up on a regular basis but Marqui did a fantastic job giving us all natural but special looks for my September wedding. Everyone looked (and felt!) gorgeous while looking like ourselves. She captured all our styles perfectly and was on time, professional, and easy to communicate with prior to the event. Despite some happy tears throughout the day and lots of dancing my make-up still looked great at the end of the night. I highly recommend Marqui and am so glad I had the opportunity to work with her!

Marqui was amazing to work with from beginning to end. She's super responsive and she'll try her best to help you with whatever questions you may have. She has plenty of experience working with Asian faces like mine so I wasn't too worried thinking that my makeup would look unnatural. My makeup trial turned out well, and we were able to replicate the look on my wedding day with a few minor changes. She also did my mom and the bridesmaids' makeup and they all looked beautiful. I cried a lot during my wedding day but my makeup stayed on all day and looked amazing even until the end of the night. I highly recommend Marqui!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Marqui and her service. She is quick to responding and extremely accommodating. All I can say is: Thank you, Marqui. I felt so beautiful--like a goddess or a movie star. She listened well and adapted my look to my desires--we did a trial session at her studio and it was such fun doing a mini and impromptu photoshoot with her! My mother LOVED her and she did an amazing job on my mom (of course), my grandma, and all my bridesmaids. She was organized and good with her timing. We had a calm and fun morning with her on the day of the wedding, with no crazy rushing. This is especially outstanding because she lives on Whidbey and had to travel down to Ballard for the make up session. It was like having a big sister or friend with you to do your make up. She was such a lovely and warm presence to have around.

After trying to practice my own make up for my wedding, I quickly realized there was no way this was going to work. I immediately googled Clinton, Wa make-up in a panic and found her website so easily. I called that moment and Marqui answered right away. On the phone she sold me instantly, I can’t even remember what she said but I knew I was going to have to make an appointment with her because I felt a trust with her that she knew what she was doing. The day of my wedding I ended up arriving early and she allowed me to come in early which was great. You can tell Marqui is incredibly experienced, she paid a lot of attention to details of shadows, making sure the right colors fit my skin color, eye color and asked how I wear my make-up day to day. This was especially important for me because I don’t wear that much make up. The results of my make-u were beyond perfect even with out a make-up trial. I have never felt so pretty in my life. I couldn’t believe I could actually look like this. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Marqui for a professional make-up session!!!!!

I had the pleasure of having Marqui do my makeup and my mother's makeup for my cousins wedding. Marqui is an absolute artist and you really feel at ease working with her. Interesting fact, my mother had not worn makeup for 30+ years, so thank you Marqui for making my mother feel beautiful and extremely happy with her look. Marqui was incredible to work with. The number of wedding party members interested in having their makeup done kept changing up until the day of our wedding and she was happy to accommodate and had built in a little time so she could be flexible. I wear the lightest of makeup on a daily basis and Marqui was able to strike a balance of making me look like myself but enhanced. When I went for my pre-wedding "test" session, my (now) husband picked me up and he jaw dropped. He LOVED how I looked. Her work had the same effect on my wedding day. I felt I still looked like me and felt like her makeup job looked really good in the photos as well.

Marqui was STELLAR! She was flexible and worked with me as my venue was in Enumclaw with extremely reasonable rates with incredibly professional quality. I originally thought I wanted air brush and she was more than happy to take the time to explain pro's and cons and educate me in the process. She was also willing if I didn't like the trial of non air brush to do it with air brush. I was so thrilled with the first one I didn't even thing twice about wanting airbrush!! I wanted to see how long my makeup lasted for the trial- I left it on all day (*which included a fairy ride) and wore it the entire next day to work and was getting compliments left and right. When I took it off after almost 2 full days of wearing it, it was only slightly smudged due to sleeping on it and touching my face, but still looked STELLAR! She really understands your wants and how to make you look your best! She is professional and knowledgeable in her trade to accent your best features! Day of my wedding I started PEALING! It was completely unnoticeable and I never thought twice about it. I was complimented for weeks after on my makeup. I felt simply radiant! It didn't feel cakey or thick, but natural and complimentary. You're always scared about paying so much for something unknown with weddings, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! She wanted to make sure that we were the right fit for each other considering the bride's needs first above all. I felt and looked like a princess thanks to her!

Marqui was FANTASTIC! Her creative heart and mind were exactly what I wanted for my wedding day! She took my ideas & used the colors of the day and created the perfect smokey eye! All of my bridesmaids have different skin tones, likes/dislikes, etc. and everyone walked away thrilled with Marquis' work! She arrived promptly and managed to complete 10 faces in 6 hours! I saw Marquis portfolio and instantly fell in love with her portfolio! I reached out to her and she was very prompt in responding and friendly and I knew that I would love for her to do my Bridal Make-up and my Bridal Party. Marquis arrived right on time to start make-up and kept in touch with me before the wedding and answered any questions I had. All 5 of my Bridesmaids looked GORGEOUS AND AMAZING!! They still looked like themselves which I loved. One of my bridesmaids is African American and she was concerned about finding someone that knew how to work with colored skin and she was so happy and impressed with Marquis. I wanted bright turquoise eyeshadow which is unconventional for bridal makeup and shimmer and my makeup was Absolutely Gorgeous!! I had an extremely positive experience with both my make-up trial and the actual wedding make-up for myself (the bride), the maid-of-honor, and the mother-of-the-bride. Each of us has a completely different skin-type, tone, and personality. Marqui excels at personalizing a look for each customer. She is adamant that each client feels comfortable and authentic. She is professional, friendly, and a truly expert artist in her field. I have never felt more beautiful in my own skin--she was able to give me a natural look that lasted through the entire evening--including several hours of intense dancing and sweating. I would recommend her to anybody for any occasion.

I know it feels odd when someone gives 5 stars to a professional in every category, but Marqui truly deserves these ratings. I had girls in the wedding party with all kinds of skin tones and varying degrees of comfort with make-up and she NAILED it on each lady, including two moms with different looks (without any trial done before the day of). She was completely flexible and so helpful when there was a bit of "drama" (not with the makeup) on the day of. Everybody absolutely loved how their makeup turned out in front of the camera and in person, which I don't hear super often. On top of all this, I have an eyelid that is genetically lower than the other. I forgot to tell Marqui this, but she noticed and asked if I would be okay with her trying corrective makeup. She worked her artistic magic skills, and made my eyes look more symmetrical than I have ever seen them before. She even snuck over to the groom's room and covered a huge blemish on my husband's forehead and nobody even knew it was there. I would recommend Marqui to anyone without any hesitation!

Marqui is marvelous!! I was getting married on Whidbey Island and was having a hard time finding an artist to go to the island, who also had good reviews, and who didn't charge an arm and a leg, Marquis was the woman! Not only does she live on Whidbey but she is the most talented artist I've ever met. I don't wear a lot of makeup and I have rosacea so I wanted to make sure the artist I went with knew how to deal with my red skin, and she did. I went for my trial at her house, which was so relaxing, and was blown away at how great my makeup was!!! She was patient and honest. I had no idea what I really wanted but she knew the look I needed to feel my best. My wedding day makeup was flawless and my skin never felt better! I wish she could do my makeup everyday! She also did my MOH, MIL's and friend's makeup and they all looked spectacular. They looked like themselves but bumped up a bit with a little glamour and sparkle and they were all thrilled with their makeup as well. I've never seen them look better. Marquis has a calming energy to her and will put you at ease. Thank you Marquis for making us feel and look so amazing!

Marqui was amazing! I totally left myself on her hands and I had the best make up done ever. She was very attentive, asking questions all the time about how do I wear that, how do I like that, what dress I wear , what color and she came up with the most amazing smokey eyes ever! I was SO pleased at the end! Excellent service, highly recommend her!

Oh - also after coming home( I was at a wedding out of town) she send me all the pallets colors that she used in case I'm interested in purchasing any. Amazing!

My experience with marqui was absolutely wonderful. There is less than a handful of m.u.a that can do deep/ dark complexions and she did not disappoint. She had me and my girls looking FLAWLESS. Marqui was amazing! We had a 12pm first look so we needed to get ready super early. She got on the first Whidbey Island fairy at 5:00am for us and met us at the hotel. She was even willing to come to the venue also if she wasn't able to finish us 6 girls. She ended up finishing all 6 and looking perfect. I got SO many compliments at the wedding. ALL day till it was 12am my makeup didnt smudge or get that "greasey" caked on feeling AT ALL. I highly reccomend her services. She even matched a previous makeup artist I originally was going to use but chose her instead. She made it totally stress free when it came to make up. Thank you again!

Marqui is absolutely wonderful. We felt comfortable with her from the very beginning. She was responsive, professional and absolutely on point. We had a large wedding party and were turned down by a few different salons and makeup artists. They didn't think they would be able to do it all that day. We felt nervous about finding somebody. Marqui called us back and had no problem with coming out to the house and doing everyone's make up that day. She was confident that she could help us and her prices are so affordable. We had a great conversation with her on the phone. She was so excited to be a part of our wedding. It felt like talking to a friend. I had originally hired a Seattle based makeup artist to do both my bridal makeup as well as my 5 bridesmaids for my Whidbey Island wedding. However, the two girls she normally hires were already booked for my wedding day, leaving me to find another makeup artist of similar quality to do my bridesmaids. Luckily I found Marqui! She was friendly, professional, and had great communication up until the wedding day. Marqui did a wonderful job on each of my bridesmaids and even did a last minute touch up job on my mom. My bridal party is very diverse and Marqui did a fantastic job selecting colors that not only looked amazing on each of their different skin tones, but also took the color of their dresses into consideration. She was very thoughtful in bringing out the best of their features, while still achieving a cohesive look all around. My girls looked gorgeous and it translated so well into print (my wedding photos are proof)! Thank you, Marqui for being a dream to work with! My bridesmaids looked flawless! :)

We had such a wonderful experience with Marqui Artistry. I found her online on Yelp and reached out to her. She was so responsive and friendly, I instantly knew it would be a great fit. We did a trial run and I was blown away at her skills. When I sent the photos to my bridesmaids, they all asked if she would be doing their makeup too, because they were so excited about it. She was so great at communication in advance of the wedding, was so flexible and friendly and easy going about our getting-ready location. She was punctual and so incredibly easy to work with. During makeup application, she really helped everyone feel comfortable and listened to their likes and dislikes, and really tailored each individual's makeup to their personal style, while keeping the overall effect in mind. Everyone's makeup looked so natural, not overdone, and showed up so beautifully in photos. It also lasted so well all day! Thank you for making our day so perfect!!

I have had two experiences with Marqui and both have been phenomenal! My first experience with her, I was the bride, the second experience my mom was the bride. She was early, stayed on time, made us all feel special, chatted with us as we were having our makeup done... All in all made it such a fun experience! The makeup was beautiful and totally perfect, I usually wear very little makeup and she didn't make me feel like I had it caked on. She picked colors that went well with my skin tone, and made all of us look amazing in pictures!!! I wish she could come and do my makeup every day!

Marqui did an amazing job with my makeup, as well as the makeup of the 6 ladies in my bridal party and my cousin on my wedding day! I hired her based on word-of-mouth and a couple email exchanges, and I couldn't have been happier with that decision. I spoke with her on the phone and let her know a bit about me and my desire for a relatively natural look. She was a joy to talk with, and I felt comfortable after that conversation to forego a trial.

She was super flexible when some family members backed out of their makeup at the last minute and when we asked to add my cousin on the day of the wedding. She worked with me to pull fluff out of the wedding day schedule so that we didn't have to get a super early start. She was direct about the realities of pulling that fluff out to set my expectations, but on the day of the wedding, she nailed the schedule, plus squeezed in one extra that hadn't been planned for.

Everyone looked gorgeous, while still looking very much like themselves. She held true to leaning on the natural side, and all of us were super happy! I enthusiastically recommend her for anyone's professional makeup needs!

Weddings are stressful as everyone knows and having the right makeup artist is crucial. My daughter tried 2 other makeup artists and was so dissatisfied with what they had to offer. One glued a full set of eye lashes on her and used Maybelline mascara. Uh...not going to cut it with today's brides. We were then given Marqui's name and information from our hairdresser. She told us that Marqui was the absolute best, but had moved from our area. Marqui was willing to travel at the time of my daughter's wedding. Thankfully she still has family in the area and arranged for a visit. Marqui knows her products and was so friendly yet professional. My daughter looked absolutely gorgeous! The bridesmaids also looked so beautiful. I even had Marqui do my makeup. I have to say that I had never felt more beautiful in my life. Thank you, Marqui! You are the best ??

Marqui was great! I was really worried about having my makeup done, since I'm not too much for makeup usually, but she made me look like myself but better! It was awesome! THANK YOU so much!! Would highly recommend!

I had interviewed multiple people to do mine and my wedding parties makeup. When I talked to Marqui she was easy to talk to, professional and knew she was the right person to do my makeup for my wedding and put my worries at ease. She knew her products and what would look best on each person. During the makeup applications she was explaining what she was doing and made sure that you were getting the look that you wanted. She was calm, efficient, had clean materials( between each person she cleaned her tools) and made everyone feel special. She also had extra stock of the items that she used that you could purchase to recreate your look. I would definately use her again.

Marqui was an absolute angel! I was trying to find a makeup artist for a couple months prior to my wedding (September 19th, 2015) and was hitting dead ends & bad luck. Then one day when I was talking to my photographer (Radley Muller) he asked me if I found someone, to which I replied no. He gave Marqui really high remarks & told me I needed to contact her & I wouldn't be disapointed. After Marqui & I talked, I had a REALLY good feeling about her. Because my wedding day was fast approaching, I wasn't able to have a consultation with her in person but I just had a feeling in my gut & soul that she was the right one. Man oh man was I right. Marqui is extremely professional, kind & an over all beautiful person with a heart of gold. I never dreamed of being able to look that good. She helped transform this girl next door into a Queen for a day. She took what I wanted & made it happen. She made my mother, sister & i feel so super special. I would recommend her to anyone & everyone! She will be the one who I will always go to if I need makeup done again. She is worth every penny! Marqui, you are super talented & a wonderful woman! By far, the best makeup artist to work with! After working with her for years, as my husband and I are both professionals in the wedding industry as well, and seeing the amazing work she does it was a no brainer to utilize her services for my own wedding! Very flexible to work with as well, originally had 8-10 faces needing makeup and when the day came, we had a few additions and it was not an issue at all! Marqui even came out and provided makeup for my boudoir session before the wedding! Very attentive to detail and delivering a look that I (and my husband) LOVED!

Marqui Artistry is one of the best makeup artists I have ever encountered. First of all, I love her personality. She has a way of making you feel very special. She is extremely attentive to your every need. I was already nervous about the days events unfolding perfectly and she was like balm to my soul. She reassured me and reminded me that everything was going to go as planned and on time. She is bright, light and fun to be around. Her touch was gentle and professional. She is like an artist who's canvas is the human face. She uses exceptional products that held up under the most joyful tearful day of my life. I felt beautiful, confident and picture perfect when she was done with me. You can find girls who do makeup or you can call Marqui and have an artist!

I hired Marqui for my wedding because she did my best friend's wedding last year and the bridal party looked AWESOME!!! I did a preview with her where she photographed me and followed up with a portrait so I could see how I looked in pictures. I couldn't get over how flawless I looked.
She did my wedding and took care of myself and 5 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and my 85 year old grandmother. Each person was done perfectly to their style and coordinated them perfectly with their dresses.
I am still on cloud 9 and so happy Marqui was available to do my wedding. Totally would recommend this vendor.

Marqui, in my opinion, does some of the best work I have ever seen. I had been introduced to her a shoot were she transformed a handful of girls into zombies. Each girl was a piece of art, I knew then and there that I wanted to use her for my wedding. I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day. I had told her I wanted to be natural and not too over done for my wedding day, and she nailed it. All my bridesmaids also had their makeup done by Marqui as well and they all were the most gorgeous I have ever seen them. My wedding was featured in several publications, one of them being Style Me Pretty, due in part to the beautiful makeup Marqui did. My mom and I were do pleased with her work for my wedding day we went on to hire her for my brothers wedding day. She did my mothers, grandmothers, and my makeup, and we were all so happy with our looks on that day. I would use Marqui for any and all my special events, she is the best!

We hired Marquis to make us (myself and daughters) gorgeous for our annual holiday party where we also do family photos. From the first contact, I knew I was in good hands. She is exremely talented as I have never seen myself looks so good and I am over 50. She also made up my daughters who are quite particular about their looks and they absolutely loved their makeup. Our photos turned out perfect. We will contract her again for future occasions. I wish I could keep Marqui around everyday to make me as beautiful as she does. I believe she gives lessons and I may someday take that opportunity.
I strongly recommend this artist. She is a true artist professionale.

Marqui is amazing. She knows her stuff, she makes the bride look beautiful without changing them. She talks to the bride about what they are comfortable with and stays in that zone. She has amazing products that stay on. She also helps with touch- up on the groom. I have never seen my husband let someone put make-up on him but he let her and it looked awesome.

Marqui did the makeup of my bridesmaids and mom of the bride and the mom of the groom at my wedding! She did an amazing job! She showed up earlier than expected, was extremely professional, and finished the girls makeup earlier than expected. Professional, Artistic, a joy to work with

Marqui is amazing. She really listened to what I wanted and my make-up lasted from 7am until 10pm without so much as a smudge.... I don't wear hardly any make-up and I wanted my face to look super natural for the wedding... and gosh did she deliver. I didn't even need to touch myself up with the little kit she gave me. The thing that I thought was amazing was how different my MOH's look was from our officiant from mine. Such an artist and really such a lovely, warm, calm presence to start off your day with. I can't recommend her more highly. You won't be sorry to hire her for your day!

Marqui did my bridal party, mom, and me for my wedding. She was fantastic. Everyone LOVED their makeup and looked so great. She was flexible and came early and changed venues per my request.
