  San Juan elopement

  I’ve known Marla for a long time and have done multiple shoots with her from fitness to wedding photography. She has a unique style and I love the mood that ot adds to the photos. She is very talented and is fun to work with! Highly recommend whether it’s for a wedding or any other type of shoot you may be looking for.

  Marla is awesome!

  My husband and I eloped last year and Marla took amazing photos! We planned it with only a couple months notice and she was able to make it work and everything turned out perfect. We didn’t want a traditional full day of photos leading up to the ceremony and she was super flexible with timing and everything. Her and her partner helped us with posing, found the perfect locations for a variety of photos and captured the dramatic backdrop of the mountains. She also got the final photos to us within a week or so!Would definitely recommend!

  Perfectly captured out love 💕

  Marla truly has a gift. We could not be happier with the photos from our wedding day. She has an eye for authenticity and made us feel so free to be ourselves during our wedding photos. They perfectly reflect our relationship. We had a last minute location change due to weather and I trusted her completely to capture our special moments.

  Easy breezy and fantastic

  Marla was so great the day of our wedding she got our before and after pictures while we all got ready (which I thought was gonna be weird but was really fun). Marla and her husband felt like long lost friends and really knew how to help direct us during our posed pictures. I 100% would recommend Marla for your big day!!

  Marla is so professional and really knows what she is doing! She makes being in front of the camera so easy and comfortable. Our photos turned out amazing and she really made our day even more special!

  A wonderful record of our wedding

  Marla captured our wedding day perfectly. She was completely unobtrusive - ‘stealth’ - during the ceremony, catching all the special moments, and took lovely formal shots with lots of stylish details. Highly recommended!

  Perfect wedding day

  Marla is one of the friendliest and easiest photographers to work with, and one where you won't sacrifice on quality. She makes weddings actually feel special and magical and well, fun! That's something we forget when we're deep in our wedding planning logistics. She went above and beyond capturing the perfect, hilarious, and adorably imperfect moments that made our day so memorable.

  Great experience with Marla Keown Photography

  As a professional photographer myself, trusting someone else to take pictures of a day as important as my wedding, was not easy. Fortunately, working with Marla (and Josh) made for a great experience and wonderful ways to remember our wedding! They are great at making you feel at ease with a great energy that helps you relax and focus on the day instead of worrying about a shot.
  
  One of the things I appreciated most in deciding to Marla, is her creativity. She's great at getting the 'standard' shots that everyone shoots at a wedding but has a really interesting and creative eye for getting so many unscripted shots that will likely be amongst your favorites. I can't recommend Marla enough to capture your special day!

  Marla’s pictures captured the spirit

  I was just looking through our wedding album tonight (again, 5 years later) and Marla’s work is a prized possession. The images are beautiful. She captured the small moments that often get missed or forgotten. I always feel a little awkward in front of a camera, but Marla’s grace and style made me forget she was even there. Love her and her work!
