Melissa Sent on 02/21/2015My fiancé' bought my engagement ring at Marksman after we had tried on rings at various jewelers in Knoxville and we found the most beautiful pear shaped engagement ring with the criss cross faceting by one of Harry Winston's cutters...one of the most beautiful rings I've ever seen! Marksman knows how to pick their diamonds...and they don't pick any bad ones! Love it!!!! -

Barbara Sent on 01/22/2014I had a very specific ring in mind for my engagement so I sent emails to local jewelers to see if they had anything similar. Markman's was the ONLY jeweler that responded to my email and sent me pictures of similar rings that they had available. The rings they had were not exactly what I wanted so they discussed options with my fiance and I and told us we could get my ring done custom. They spent hours with us discussing options and showing me how the ring might look when altered. They also spent a lot of time with my fiance helping him pick the perfect diamond for my setting. My engagement ring is stunning and I am not saying that just because it is mine. I have been engaged for a year now and I still get several compliments a week about my ring and how beautiful it is and what a high quality diamond I have. When I go to bridal shows the vendors tell me that they see thousands of engagement rings but they have never seen one as unique and beautiful as mine. We are thrilled with our purchase and the wonderful service we receive every time we go in. I go get my ring cleaned every three months and they are always so sweet and helpful. We also got our wedding bands here and they are also beautiful. I would highly recommend this jeweler to anyone in the area. -

The first sizing is free. They are a local Knoxville business and it's always great to support locally owned businesses! They are competitively priced, as well. -

Rio Sent on 09/14/2013I had to have black diamonds for my wedding ring. Mr. Markman himself flew to a Las Vegas show to individually select the three beautiful black diamonds in my ring. My fiance is amazing, but he wouldn't have been able to pull this off without Markman's. -

Lucy Sent on 06/18/2012My engagement ring is a combination of my mother's engagement diamond and my own new setting. My mom's ring was originally purchased at Markmans almost 30 years ago. Markman's was chosen by my dad because of a personal relationship between my grandfather and Mr. Markman. So, it was a little bit sentimental that we chose to go to Markmans. That said, we have been really pleased! THere staff is very nice and responsive to our needs and desires. The quality of their workmanship is fantastic. the value of their services and the support we received after the sale is outstanding. Very pleased with our overall experience! -

We were approached by the kindest people and they were so helpful helping us figure out what I was looking for. I tried on several rings of different styles. When my 1ct. round diamond Tacori engagement ring slid on my finger my now husband and I knew it was the ring!! Months later he got down on one knee and now a year later we are married and couldn't be happier. Markman's Jewelers will help you find what you are looking for. My husband being from western side of the state looked many places, but still loved Markman's more and traveled across the state just to do business with them. We are very pleased with how they do business!!!

User1092937 Sent on 02/18/2013After learning about diamonds and visiting several jewelry stores, we felt most comfortable buying our diamond from Markman's. It is locally owned, and most of the other stores are chains (and multiple chain stores are owned by the same parent company!). The quality of their diamonds seems better, and they use GIA instead of some of the other diamond rating companies. They do not work with you too much on price, but a little. We actually found a ring I wanted at another store, and we took a picture into markman's and asked if they could make it. They had a similar ring (which was more like what I wanted anyways) in their catalog, and that's what we got! We did have an issue with pricing.. they told us 3 different prices for the setting. It fluctuated between $1200-$1700 (with a price in the middle). That was frustrating, but overall, I feel they are better than most of the others (I think there were 2 stores we didnt go to).
