Mark surpassed all our expectations with his remarkable work on both our engagement and wedding photos! From the very beginning, his communication and responsiveness were truly outstanding, making the entire wedding planning process smooth and stress-free. On our special day, Mark's talent and expertise truly shone through as he effortlessly captured every single precious moment. We were amazed to hear from several guests who said, "He seemed to be everywhere the entire night!" Despite the challenging weather conditions, with gusts reaching 50mph, Mark rose to the occasion and managed to capture some absolutely breathtaking photos. His ability to seize those incredible moments amidst the wind is a testament to his skill and dedication. We are beyond grateful for Mark's outstanding work and can't help but relive our wedding day through his stunning photography. -

Mark was so easy and fun to work with. He was flexible and funny. Before my wedding started, it was a little chaotic and stressful (running a little late) and he gave me reassurance and made sure to get a first touch picture that my husband and I wanted. He added nice jokes during the bridal party photo section. Mark did great with posed and candid photos. His quality was great and we love the photos!!! He was great at communicating up to, on and after our wedding. -

Mark is an amazing and very talented Photographer. He was there day and night for my wife and I. He truly understands how to capture the moments and pretty much knows how to read your face and what you are looking for. Sometimes we don't even know exactly what we wanted but Mark was always patient and sparking new ideas and collaborating with you and how to best capture the moments. He has done my engagement photos as well as my wedding photos and they are just amazing. Mark is worth every penny. In additional to his professionalism and talented eye he is also a very compassionate person. He was always very caring towards all of our guests and not just us, the couple, he truly captures our moments that we care about even though we are not in the pictures. Capturing moments of our guests at the wedding or some of our excursions. I will 100% recommend Mark for any photography needs you may have. -

Wow. Just wow. We already knew that Mark did top quality work because we had hired him to do our engagement photo shoot in October 2022, but he totally blew us away with our wedding photo shoot (November 2023). For the engagement shoot at Estes Park, he knew the area well so he was able to find special spots and capture a lot of really great shots with beautiful lighting with the fall colors. Although we (and Mark) are based in Fort Collins, Colorado, we flew Mark out for our destination wedding near Tulum, Mexico. We could have hired other local Mexican photographers out there but we trusted Mark to capture our special day and we were so glad that we did.
Mark was a trooper and got to work right away in shooting our excursion to a cenote (underground sink hole) and Mayan ruins, rehearsal dinner, and welcome party, all before the big wedding day. He took the time to get to know our guests and scouted out interesting locations around the resort, cenote, and private beach site where we had our ceremony/reception for some gorgeous artistic shots. Despite the jet lag and time difference, he was very professional and enthusiastic about getting great photos. For example, our welcome party was only supposed to go from 8-10pm but it lasted until almost midnight. He patiently waited until the party was over to take some fantastic shots around the resort so that my partner and I wouldn’t be pulled away from our guests. He certainly didn’t have to do that, but that’s just one example of how Mark really went above and beyond for us.
We also appreciated that he saw himself as more of an observer of the wedding and would document things, but that he balanced this with giving us subtle instructions when we were taking portrait photos, because sometimes my partner and I weren’t sure what to do with our hands or where we should look.
We had a long wedding day that started with “getting ready” pictures a little after 2:00pm and the reception didn’t end until 1:30am. Mark’s energy and excitement was contagious and really helped to keep the momentum going. Then, just two days after we returned from the wedding trip, Mark informed us that he had already prepared some sneak peeks for us! We’ll get the photos later next month but we are already so nostalgic about reliving those moments. We were completely blown away by how stunning and gorgeous the photos came out. He really has a talent for bringing out the beauty of these moments with perspective, lighting, and contrasts. For example, we had a live band playing one of our songs and I ran out to get my partner to dance with me and tripped on my wedding dress and fell on the dance floor. Mark was there to capture that hilarious moment! We feel like we really made the perfect decision in hiring Mark to join us for our wedding weekend, and we hope this review will also help others who are deciding who to hire.

Mark is WONDERFUL!! He is super easy to get in touch with and a great communicator. He was happy to make changes when I needed them and was very clear with what he needed from me. He worked with a huge family to coordinate family photos and wrangle all the people going in 1000 different directions. He was very professional the whole time and my guests even remarked on how great it was to work with him. I think his photos speak for themselves, but they are sooo gorgeous!! He provides the best quality and plenty of it. Not disappointed at all, I highly recommend Mark -

Stunning photos
I was truly blown away with our wedding photos when they came in. We got a sneak peak a couple days after the wedding and I just knew the rest were going to be amazing. I find myself scrolling through them daily and constantly changing my mind on which ones I love the most because they are all just so amazing. Mark was so easy to work with. He is extremely responsive and up for anything. Even a post ceremony hike where we all sank in the snow to get the perfect photos. I can't say enough good things about Mark. Truly the best! -

Wonderful, did not disappoint!
Mark has blown us away with the quality of photos he took at our wedding, and with his ability to capture special moments. When looking through our photos, we truly feel like we are re-living our special day, and we can’t stop smiling. Both of our families have said these are the best wedding photos they have ever seen, and can’t get over what a great job Mark did. Mark was such a pleasure to work with. We started working with him 2 years prior to our wedding for our engagement photos. Our wedding was then postponed a year and Mark still was amazing about accommodating our new date. We are so grateful he was willing to stick it out with us! Our engagement pictures are amazing, he knows great locations! Our wedding pictures have been beautiful, the color and lighting is so artistic! Mark made us feel so comfortable and cared about during this whole process. Would definitely recommend! -

Responsive, affordable, talented photographer with laid back energy and local knowledge
Mark was very responsive and communicative leading up to the event. He was right on time and had a very laid back energy which fit well with my family. His local knowledge led us to some absolutely stunning spots for photos that we never would have found on our own. The photos themselves turned out so beautifully, and the way they are organized and delivered makes it a breeze. He was reasonably priced and honestly everything I could have hoped for in a photographer! -

Simply amazing! Our wedding day was super cold and windy yet Mark made it all worth while. He was very laid back making the experience relaxing and fun. Without seeing the pictures yet, I told my husband he was worth every penny. After receiving the pictures, it solidified how great of a job he did capturing our big day. We just received our Wedding photos and I could not wait to write this review! Our photos were everything we could have wanted and more. Mark is extremely talented and has an eye for turning candid moments into a beautifully captured photo. When searching for a photographer for our October 2019 Wedding, the biggest challenge was finding a photographer who was comfortable shooting in the dark. We had a 6pm Catholic Wedding and by the time the ceremony was over at 7pm it was completely dark. My husband and I are very traditional and did not want to do a "first look". After seeing some of Mark's work and speaking to him I felt so comfortable and he was up for the challenge. He tried to set us up for realistic expectations given the lack of lighting we had to work with, but he knocked it out of the park. I had also hired a videographer for the day and they worked so well together. If you are seeking an extremely talented photographer to beautifully capture your special day, I would not hesitate to hire Mark. He has provided us with such gorgeous and creative photos to have forever. We can't thank you enough for everything. We are in love with the photos and will be able to look back and cherish these moments forever. -

Out of all of my wedding decisions I had to make, choosing the right photographer was a big priority on my list. I did a lot of research and I'm so glad I came across Mark Creery Photography. He was very professional and relaxed. Mark made my husband and I feel very comfortable during our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. We received our engagement pictures and wedding pictures in a very timely manner, and Mark kept us posted about when they would be done. And our pictures are amazing! I can't stop looking at them. 🖤 Mark captured so many amazing candid moments. He truly captured all of the emotions throughout my wedding day. (Thank you Mark.)

My fiance and I took a road trip through Colorado to celebrate our engagement and wanted to take engagement photos within the beautiful mountain scenery. When researching photographers near our first destination (Estes Park), Mark Creery Photography emerged as our favorite because of his photography style, experience, extensive portfolio, and nearby location (Fort Collins). Mark was willing to work with our limited time in Estes Park and also made a great recommendation for the location of the photos since we were not from the area. There was a high chance of rain when taking the photos, so Mark came prepared with umbrellas and his creativity for how to make the best of the situation. We absolutely love our photos, and the rainy ones are actually our favorites! -

After speaking with Mark and viewing his panorama pictures from past weddings on Instagram and his website, I knew he would be the perfect photographer for my August 2019 Vail wedding. He was through, professional, kind and courteous. He made the whole experience fun and was able to capture some beautiful photos, including sunset photos. Mark took our ideas about our style and location suggestions and captured us as we are. Nothing felt or looked posed, staged, or unnatural. I have already received so many compliments from friends, family, and colleagues and cannot wait for the rest of our photos. My husband and I will cherish the time we had with Mark taking photos just the two of us after the ceremony and during the reception at sunset. I highly recommend Mark Creery for wedding photography for an amazing experience that will capture your wedding day perfectly.

With so many wedding photos to choose from it's nearly impossible to select favorites because we genuinely love them all. We hired Mark to do our outdoor engagement photos and he was absolutely fabulous throughout the entire process. He was super personable and kept in contact even after our session to invite us to fun local wedding events, help with photo ordering, and even to congratulate me when Clemson won the National Championship because he remembered that's where I went to college! He answered all the questions I bombarded him with over email and reassured me that it would turn out great. My fiance and I are probably the most awkward kids you've ever met, so we expected our engagement session to be nothing short of that, but Mark didn't take long to make us feel more comfortable. He was really able to capture our personalities as we laughed and goofed off. During our session the weather took a dramatic turn (as it often does in CO), and we experienced fog, rain, and eventually snow, but Mark powered through the elements with us. Even though we had fun through the whole session getting our shoes a little muddy and cuddling closer for warmth, I was upset once I got home thinking the weather might have ruined our photos. So I emailed Mark and he once again reassured me that the pictures looked great but he offered a quick 10 minutes on a sunnier day if it would make me feel better. When we got the photos, they were so much better than we could have expected, especially on the day with terrible weather! He turned what I thought was a nasty day into beautiful portraits. We absolutely love our photos and love looking back at them and remembering that day. I couldn't recommend Mark more and truly believe that you'll be missing out if you don't decide to work with him! -

We chose Mark as our photographer between several different options because he was thoughtful, down to earth, and had an incredibly calm, laid-back personality, which was exactly what we felt we'd need on the wedding day. We were not disappointed! We had an engagement photo session to get to know him, and he was very fun and easy to work with. And the day of the wedding he was amazing: he seemed to be everywhere at once, he braved a sudden rainstorm during the ceremony to capture unbelievable photos, helped my husband and me keep our smiles when we were flagging. He herded the wedding party and families professionally and efficiently, and was not afraid to ask overeager family members to step out of photos they weren't supposed to be in, allowing my husband and me to avoid the awkward situation. I could go on and on with everything he did for us! Since our photos are how we'll remember our wedding for the rest of our lives, we wanted to make sure we had the perfect photographer, and we were not disappointed in Mark! -
