Hair and makeup

Marina was absolutely amazing. She was very sweet and personable. She was able to get me in last minute as well which was really nice. We did a practice run which we were able to earn how better to keep my hair all up for the actual wedding. Everything held up well and I absolutely felt like such a beautiful bride. The makeup was also phenomenal! When I wasn’t in love during the practice round she had no problem changing it up even though she had already finished. Also, get the lashes. 100% recommend as it was my first time with them they really finished the look.

Marina was a pleasure to work with! She did an amazing job on my bridal and wedding party hair and makeup. Marina also came to my location for the pre trial hair and makeup and did a beautiful job. She made me feel like a princess!! I would definitely recommend Marina!

Absolutely Amazing!

Marina did my hair for my wedding day on May 10, 2019. She was super friendly, accommodating, quick, and professional. I showed her. Couple of inspiration pictures and she did an absolutely outstanding job merging them all into one hairstyle! She did an updo with a braid, which stayed ALL night! My hair doesn’t hold curls or anything well, so this was absolutely amazing for me. She even showed my sister where to put my veil and how to take it out later on in order to keep the hairstyle intact. 50/10 would recommend to my friends and family! In the beauty industry, especially with hair, you get what you pay for and this was well worth the money I spent!

Love Marina!

She did such an amazing job for my bridesmaids and I. She was professional, timely, and put up with our quirky humor 😊. My makeup and hair lasted beautifully and the veil stayed on in the wind! I would highly recommend her for any formal affair.

Friendly and Talented

Marina did my hair and makeup for my Chinese Wedding Ceremony several months ago. I went for a trial and she was able to meet my requests and give advice. I changed the style of my hair and got accessories last minute but she was still able to make me look just the way I wanted. On the big day, she came right on time. She is also very friendly and easy to talk. This was very important to me as it sets up my mood for the day and added to the memory of everything else. In the end, everything came out better than I could have imagined! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!

I booked Marina pretty much right away after I got engaged because she previously had been the one who did our makeup at my sister's wedding and had done such an amazing job. I used her for my engagement photos for my hair and make up, as well as at my wedding for myself, my four bridesmaids, my mom, and mother-in-law. Her and her team made it all so easy for me. We all felt so beautiful and we ready in time with no problems. I highly recommend her if you want to feel beautiful on your special day or whatever the occasion may be!

Marina is amazing. My wedding was the second wedding I had the pleasure to work with her and she does such a wonderful job. My hair and makeup were exactly as expected. Kind, professional, fun and talented!

Amazing Artist & Very Flexible!

Marina went absolutely above and beyond with my wedding day makeup look. My skin is extremely sensitive, and I'm allergic to many chemicals in most makeup. She went out and purchased a stunning palette for my look, was extremely flexible with scheduling, and was an absolute blast! Highly recommend.

Mariana was fabulous!

I absolutely LOVED using Marina for my wedding hair and make up!! She did a fabulous job on all the up-do styles and the make up! All of my girls were SO happy with how their hair and make up turned out. She kept us on schedule and we had plenty of time before pictures. She was so friendly, detail orientated, and professional. Marina and her assistant provided hair and makeup services for myself, 6 bridesmaids and my flower girl. Both of them were very professional yet personable and easy to talk to. Marina was wonderful to work with! She and her assistant did on-site hair and makeup for myself, 5 bridesmaids, and both mothers. It was a pleasure to have Marina do my hair and make up on my wedding day. She had her work cut out for her, as I was inconsolable due to burn and lifting of my eyes from a bad eyebrow waxing the day before. My eyes were scarred and very swollen. The makeup hid the scarring and she kept going even when I was not the most pleasant person to be around. Thank you, Marina. I would definitely ask her to work on me again.

Marina was the best! She was able to accommodate me for my hair and makeup trial when I was in town only for a couple days. On my wedding day, my makeup and hair lasted all night and my bridesmaids were so impressed with their hair and makeup also!

My experience with Marina was amazing. She was so respectful and kind. She understood what looks good according to face. She did amazing job over all. We were dressed for a wedding in mess Arizona. She might have pictures of you'd like to see. You'd be surprised how amazing she made me and my family look. 4 lady's and 2 different days. It's a reasonable price but so worth it when you see the look

This was a class act service, we had 3 girls completely done with hair and makeup in about 2 hours. She did an awesome job getting the hair and make up just perfect. My daughter never looked more beautiful and her wedding day was perfect thanks to Marina. I highly recommend using her services!

Not only was she available for a semi-last minute booking for myself (bride) and 4 of my 5 bridesmaids but her overall friendly personality and professionalism made everything seamless on my big day. I booked Marina for my wedding. I was a little late booking, so I did not do a trial run. But my my hair turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined! My bridal party each had different styles and they were all beautiful!

Marina was absolutely wonderful! I was unsure of exactly what "look" I wanted for my wedding so I choose to have two hair/make-up trials and Marina was very accommodating! I was super happy with her work pre wedding and on the day of the wedding. She also did my daughter's hair/make-up and both of us looked absolutely beautiful! Marina is very flexible with appointments, and so nice! She did my hair and make up for my wedding along with three other people from the bridal party. We all looked amazing. It was exactly like I pictured it would turn out and I felt so beautiful. I genuinely have not a single complaint about marina or her services. She is so fun to talk to and does an amazing job. She also does great on nail designs.

Marina was absolutely wonderful!! My hair was completely damaged when she did my trial but I still looked amazing. I attended my sister-in-law's wedding the day of my trial and everyone had endless compliments. She was punctual for my wedding day and was very timely; she had to complete 6 people's makeup in 4 hours. Her assistant did 4 people's hair in that time frame. She is professional but personable and caring. I would highly recommend her to any friend and plan to use her in the future!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Marina!!!!

Marina did my hair and makeup for my October wedding and did a fantastic job! We had five bridesmaids and both mother's getting hair and makeup done, so she had to bring an assistant to get us all ready in time. Marina did all the ladies' makeup as well as mine and my mother's hair, while the assistant did everyone else's hair. Everyone looked great and our hair and makeup kept well all night! I had a trial with Marina beforehand and she made sure that she understood exactly what I wanted and took notes. She was very reasonably priced and always easy to communicate with. I would recommend Marina's Beauty Spot to anyone getting married.

Marina, I can't thank you enough for making me into the most beautiful bride. I felt like a princess! She did airbrush makeup and hair for myself and 3 bridesmaids and made us absolutely gorgeous! I can't say enough how wonderful and personable she is, my first meeting date only meeting was with her and I signed up with her right off the bat. She did my hair and makeup trial and also did my engagement photo makeup. I would highly recommend her to anyone or any bride. Her rates are fantastic and she is amazing!

Marina did airbrush makeup for me and some of my bridesmaids. She also did my bridal updo which turned out beautifully. Marina is very professional and her looks are very polished. I would recommend her to any bride.

Marina did an awesome job on my wedding. she did hair for 11 of us and was very professional and responsive. She listened closely to what each of us wanted and everyone's hair looked perfect. I was also on time for my ceremony which i was concerned about as there was allot of us. She also speaks spanish which was a plus for my mom. I would definitely use her again! no question. I was a VERY happy bride!!!

Marina did an amazing job on my makeup and hair! Everyone at my wedding loved my vintage look, and I could tell that Marina was an expert on how to nail this look!

I loves working with marina! Everyone in my bridal party looked amazing and my makeup was spot on. I didn't have to do any touch ups like I did with my sister two weddings. Highly recommended!

Marina was amazing and a very sweet person! She made sure my trial was exactly what I wanted. On my wedding day my makeup and my bridesmaids makeup was flawless! She is so talented! The hairdresser I worked with who was a family friend wants her to give her salon artists lessons for airbrushing!

Marina was great! She was so easy to work with and the entire bridal party looked absolutely amazing! I gave her some pictures of looks I liked and just let her have carte blanche and she did an incredible job. Her pricing was some of the best we could find. I cannot recommend Marina highly enough!

As a Photographer it is always important to have make up that is applied in a way that it is done to appear non existent but bring out the beauty of the bride, I have been doing wedding for 7 years and in all of them I have not come across a make up artist that can do what Marina Beauty Spot does for their clients, Make-up that is spectacular to photograph.
Marina Beauty Spot is Professional in all aspects of business and is a joy to work with.

I'm not going to lie I was a little hesitant at first because I found her ad on Craigslist and I didn't want to be scammed. I did some research and looked over her work on Facebook and all the great reviews made me feel much more comfortable. I did a hair and makeup trial for my wedding last weekend and she was very profession, friendly and her work is flawless. I would recommend her for any special event you have.

Marina did a great job. During the trial she was patient and got me the exact look I wanted. She uses top of the line makeup and was great with colors. She did 7 girls make up and everyone looked great. We were all pleased with her services.

Marina did just a fabulous job on my hair! I felt so comfortable with her from the get go! I did a trial with her and right then and there I knew she was the one! I got so so so many compliments on my hair and make up that she did I would highly reccomend her to everyone! Marina was amazing!!! We had a rather unique wedding party and everyone seemed to change their minds at the last minute and Marina was great with everyone. She was extremely professional, used great products on our hair, knew what she was doing and everyone was extremely impressed with her work! In the end we all looked amazing thanks to her and I would definitely recommend her to others! She helped make a very stressful day a fabulous one!

Marina did my wedding hair and makeup as well as my maid of honor's. I did an initial trial and was very impressed with her work. On the day of the wedding, Marina was on time and professional. She made sure to take into consideration my maid of honor's preferences for styling her curly hair. I would definitely recommend Marina for wedding hair and makeup!

The reason I gave 4.5 stars for the Value was because during my wedding ceremony, one of my artificial eyelash started peeling. Of course this was due to me crying. I don't normally wear artificial eyelashes, but I wanted fuller lashes on my big day. After taking photos with the photographer, I ended up taking them off because I did not have any glue and they were flapping. Haha! Regardless, I would recommend Marina if you are looking to have a professional come to you. She was friendly and awesome. Lastly, if your willing to spend extra money, Marina can do make-up and hair style trials.

Has the skills, but showed up late for my wedding booking.

The trial appointment for my wedding hair and makeup went well. The day before my wedding, Marina sent a confirmation for an hour later than what was previously confirmed multiple times and when I asked to stick to the original time, I was told no due to salon appointment she has booked during that time...not what a bride wants to hear! An event booking like a wedding, which requires a deposit, should take priority. My appointment felt rushed and it showed. The overall look was different from what we went over in the trial and I wanted to make adjustments, but there was no time left. I have no doubt that it would have turned out better if we had more time. That said, I would recommend Marina for everyday looks but not for an important event.
