We worked with Mariah for our wedding this past June, she was hands down one of the best investments we made going into our special day 🙌
One of the things that set Mariah apart from other planners we talked to is her connection to the Big Sur/Carmel/Monterey area. She is deeply rooted in the community and is able to give expert recommendations on venues and vendors. We were planning our wedding from Los Angeles so we really looked to Mariah for guidance.
She also brings a sense of calm to planning a wedding. We always looked forward to our planning calls, and no issue was too big for her to tackle. During our very first phone call, Mariah got right down to business helping us coordinate guest lodging and transportation, an issue that we had been stuck on for weeks! She made the wedding day itself completely relaxing and enjoyable - Mariah took care of every last detail so we were able to arrive with our families and not think about any of the coordination details.
Another thing that we loved about working with Mariah is that she really understood our vision and made sure that every last detail was perfect. One of our favorite memories of the day was walking into the venue and seeing our dreams brought to life ❤️
I highly recommend working with Mariah, and if you’re on the fence about a coordinator, do it and pick her! -

Mariah was the day-of coordinator for our mid-May Big Sur wedding, and we wish we could have worked together for longer! She was an incredibly calming presence from the moment we met her during our ceremony rehearsal, and seamlessly took on multiple responsibilities over the course of our wedding day to make sure that we didn’t have to worry about anything but enjoying ourselves. She handled everything from playlist switching to heating up some items for our dessert bar, all while setting up the event, keeping the day’s schedule on track, and coordinating all our vendors and guests to follow our set timeline. Our wedding day was genuinely stress-free thanks to her expertise, and we were able to fully enjoy our time with our loved ones.
She also has incredible relationships with several vendors in Big Sur - she knew our shuttle driver, caterer, venue groundskeeper, and bartender, and clearly was treated as a trusted partner by all of them. It added an extra element of community to the day which was lovely to experience.
And bonus: she gives off such a warm, kind energy. Even though we had only really worked together for a day and a half, she texted us the morning after our wedding to ensure that everything had gone well after she and the other vendors had left for the night.
Overall, I highly recommend Mariah for any event planning or coordination needs! If we ever plan another event in the Big Sur area, she’ll be our first call. -

My fiancé and I were planning a destination wedding to Big Sur, California. I thought it'd be easy, as we were planning a small wedding, but anxiety began to build quickly as the to-do list began to grow. I decided that we needed to hire a wedding planner. From the first moment of talking to Mariah, all worries disappeared. For each detail, she knew multiple people and multiple directions that could be taken. She was such a breeze to communicate with on a regular basis. Her personality was happy and positive. She was respectful of cost by presenting multiple options with varying monetary ranges. She clearly had our best interests in mind. If you hire Mariah, I am certain that the day of your wedding is going to be smooth, happy, and beautiful - highly due to her work. What more could you want? -

If you are planning to get married in Carmel, Big Sur or really anywhere in Monterey County you are doing yourself a massive disservice not hiring Mariah! She is simply the best and we could not have had our wedding planning and day-of run so smoothly without her expert guidance.
I have been friends with Mariah since middle school, and I knew I wanted Mariah to be involved in our wedding planning when we chose to get married in Carmel. Originally we hired Mariah as our month-of coordinator, but it quickly became apparent that we needed her expert help navigating everything about a year out. She soon became our official planner, and it was the best decision we made! She is incredibly organized, highly communicative and has a profound attention to detail. She really does think of everything!
Given that she grew up in Big Sur she has tremendous knowledge of the local vendors, venues and just all around logistics of the central coast.
Mariah is also a very calming person and worked just as much as a therapist for us as she did our planner. Even though she's juggling so much, you would never know. On our actual wedding day everything ran so seamlessly and she never seemed stressed or frazzled. I only wish I approached the planning process in the same manner.
Hire Mariah for all your wedding coordination needs and you will be in the best hands!! -

Worth Her Weight in Gold
When we first started planning our destination wedding in Big Sur, we didn't think we would need a coordinator. That is until we got about 1.5 months to the wedding and things just became overwhelming. Hiring Mariah was probably the best decision we made while planning our wedding. She was able to make a custom contract for us that fit our needs perfectly (a little more than month before planning but less than full planning). During the planning process she was knowledgable of all the vendors in the area, thought of details that hadn't even crossed our minds, had great ideas to make the space/day that much more special, made unique requests possible (candied bacon croissants) and was easy to get a hold of. Over the course of the days leading up to our wedding, she was responsive, took care of all the final details and afforded us the time to just enjoy hanging out with our family and friends. With Mariah, the day of the wedding went smoothly because she was there to set up everything (and break it down afterwards), deal with any vendors we had hired, guide the flow of the day and handled any mishaps that came up. The day after our wedding my husband and I both looked at each other and agreed we couldn't have done it without her and she truly is worth her weight in gold.
Thank you so much Mariah, you are not only a cool person we would love to hang out with, but amazing at your job. We truly couldn't have done it without you! -

We are beyond grateful for Mariah! I thought that I could handle planning a small person wedding on my own, but boy was I wrong! Mariah was extremely helpful, and patient from the very beginning - and she really knows everything there is to know about getting married in Big Sur - and her attention to detail is hands down- the best I've ever seen! A few days before wedding day an unseasonable 3 days of rain was forecast for our wedding weekend... Mariah eased my nerves and quickly came up with an alternate plan to our previously designed out door reception. She is so well connected in the area that within a few hours she had come up with an even better arrangement- and day of- rain and all went off with out a hitch. They say rain is good luck- and well Mariah made that entirely true! We loved Mariah- and are trying to come up with another excuse to plan something with her again! Any suggestions!? xoxo -
Reese Sent on 07/06/2018From the moment Mariah and I had our first conversation, I knew she was a great fit for us. She truly brought our ideas to life. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator! She thought of every last detail and was so patient throughout the entire planning process. I was nervous about planning because we were getting married at a house that had never had a wedding or event this large before, but Mariah had thought of every detail and it went off without a hitch. She coordinated all our vendors, led a walkthrough the day before, and arrived early on the day of to make sure everything was set. I knew I had nothing to worry about because she had everything covered. She sent me links to some ideas for decor and provided wonderful recommendations that turned out great! I'd recommend Mariah a million times over!

Susanna Sent on 05/15/2018I feel so grateful to have had Mariah on board planning my wedding. She is so sweet, so creative, so organized, so professional, so calm…the list goes on. She knows of all the best wedding locations, florists, make-up and hair artists, videographers, bakeries, etc. in the Big Sur area. My family and I felt so supported by her calm presence on the wedding day. Even though we had to make a last minute ceremony venue switch, Mariah was on top of it and had three amazing new venues for us to choose from! The day ran so smoothly and I know it is because of Mariah’s amazing work. As cheesy at is sound, I literally ended with the wedding of my dreams. I would highly recommend hiring Mariah to plan your special event, you will surely not be disappointed!

Karen Sent on 01/19/2018Mariah and Danielle made our rustic, destination (Carmel Valley) wedding a day I will remember forever. Thank you both so much for making our wedding day completely stress-free and amazing in every way. You helped keep us on track from the first moment of our initial contact, straight through the wedding and reception. Your suggestions of caterer, band, baker, rentals, and officiant were all spot-on, and revealed a good intuitive sense of us as a couple - even without meeting us in person until the day before the wedding. Thank you as well for working with my remote location, and offering excellent suggestions for how to arrange the space to make the best of the quirky, historic venue. In addition, I honestly believe you controlled the weather to make the day of our January wedding sunny and beautiful in a week with 5 days of rain! Girl, you've got connections! A thousand thanks!!
