  Cake tasting

  We went for our cake tasting Saturday afternoon, and it was amazing we had a one on one Miss Marguerite herself. Beautiful lady inside and out like you knew her all your life. We tasted 5 different cakes and my fiance picked out his grooms cake and all of them we're fabulous, we decided right then this was the place we ordered the cakes we wanted I show her what I wanted and can't wait until our day. If you want the freshest best tasting wedding cake it is so worth the trip to Slidell LA to Marguerite's.

  Delicious cake, Gorgeous Designs, Friendly Staff, 10/10!

  We were so incredibly happy and thankful to have Mrs. Marguerite's bakery make our wedding cake and groom's cake for our wedding!! First of all, the cake tasting was so fun and all of the cake flavors were absolutely delicious - it was hard to choose from. Their portfolio and their capability to make your cake vision a reality is beyond belief! They were patient with us and helped us figure out the cake design that we wanted. Also, they exactly matched what we wanted for the grooms cake and wedding cake! I worked with Brandy who was so kind and patient and made the whole experience fantastic. Everyone loved the decor of the cake and the taste as well! 10/10 would recommend to any bride!

  Wonderful!!!

  We had tried Marguerite’s at several bridal shows and the cakes tasted great. We booked a cake tasting and we were able to try 5 different cakes and they were fantastic. We booked them for our wedding and are super excited to see how our wedding and groom’s cake comes out.

  Wedding cake testing

  This past weekend attended our wedding
  cake tasting. We actually got to sit down with Marguerite the owner of the bakery. It was a pleasure to do business with her she's very kind and attentive. I thought she listened to what we would like and I'm looking forward to seeing the beautiful artwork of our wedding cake and groom's cake.

  Yum Yum Yum!

  Marguerite's Cakes for my wedding was beautiful. They did a fabulous job! I gave them a picture of a rustic naked cake for inspiration and they replicated it and more. The flower placements were beautiful and the cake was delicious. The almond cake was our bottom layer and the crowd favorite!!! Will use in the future, so nice to work with!

  I had a very unusual special request and they delivered without fail. The cake was everything I wanted it to be and it was absolutely delicious!

  I have yet to make it back to get my 1-year anniversary cake since I relocated out of state but hoping to do so in 2023!

  I stumbled upon sampling of Marguerite’s at the Slidell David’s Bridal. I instantly feel in love. My sweetness is cake, and nothing compared. They offer a $100 discount & free wedding cake tasting. We choose a 3-tier cake & 2 additional round cakes. We were in almond, red velvet, carrot cake & Italian cream cake heaven.

  Beautifully Delicous

  Marguerite's help make my daughter's wedding perfect. The wedding cake was more beautiful then the picture and was so delicius. The grooms cake was exactly what we dreamed of. Not only was our cakes the best I have ever had, they also have delicous goodies in the store to purchase while you make visits.

  They are amazing! We tried 6 different cake flavors and had plenty of cake to take home with us to share with our family. They are giving us up to a few weeks before our wedding to finalize colors and to make flavor changes, plus they are making a second top layer for our first anniversary. The cake tastes amazing and they have been a breeze to work with!

  My wedding cake was incredibly gorgeous and so delicious! What a perfect combination! They decorated it with fresh flowers and it looked even better than the picture I'd brought in. So happy I chose Marguerite's Cakes!

My fiancé and I were struggling to find a bakery that would make the specific cake we desired, and had almost given up hope. We decided to stop in at Marguerite's on Christmas Eve for some pastries, and thought we would ask them if we could make an appointment to discuss our cake ideas while we were there. To our surprise, they welcomed us to stay and even gave us a tasting right then and there! It was delicious! They allowed me to email an image of my "dream cake" and they replicated it beautifully! Our guests absolutely loved it, as well as the chocolate petit fours we also ordered from Marguerite's. We highly recommend!

  I found the cake I wanted for my groom's cake and brought Mrs. Margeurite a picture. She said she had never done one like it before, but would love the challenge. It came out great!! My husband loved it!

  The cake we got for our wedding was gorgeous and certainly tasted better than any other "wedding cake" flavored cake we had ever had. Unfortunately we had a design in mind that we tried to show them via a picture we emailed and they never received it the first two times we sent it and had to contact them numerous times to try to get a confirmation on the design. On the third try they received the image and the cake we received was perfect. I would recommend them to someone who is not on a strict budget.
