Mallory’s photo style is timeless, fun, colorful, and surprisingly hard to find from other wedding photographers. When I came across her Instagram for the first time, her photos were EXACTLY what I was looking for, and I was elated when she promptly replied to my inquiry that she was available for my wedding date! Her option for payment installments was very helpful during the wedding planning process, too.
Mallory offered help with timelines beforehand and made sure she knew exactly what shots we were hoping for, which made the day go really smoothly.
On the day of the wedding, Mallory and her best friend Chantelle were so great to work with and brought such a fun energy that shined through in their work! You’d be surprised how much time you end up spending with your photographer on your wedding day, so make sure it’s good company!
The photos speak for themselves for this review! My husband and I have never had professional photos done, but she made us comfortable and captured so many good ones. I was a little reluctant about an idea she had for a shot under a chairlift because I thought it would be difficult to walk there in heels, but OMG was she right! I’m glad I listened to her and can’t wait to get a print of the shot to hang in our home for years to come. Mallory has a talent for photography, and I’m so glad we chose her to document our day. -

Mallory did an amazing job capturing our wedding day! She was 100% up for an untraditional day joining us hiking to our ceremony spot. She was so patient with our dogs during photos and captured their personalities perfectly! She had so much enthusiasm the day of and brought such positive energy. All of our guests and family commented on how amazing she was after the wedding. She was organized, captured our day perfectly, and went above and beyond to capture the special moments. We got our sneak peak super fast and she even included a video our dog signing our marriage certificate in the sneak peak video! Our photos turned out perfect and we’re so grateful to always have those memories. We can’t wait for another trip out to Colorado to have her capture some family photos with our pups! She was truly the best and is a must hire for your wedding vendors! -

Amazing Wedding Photography
We had an amazing experience with Mallory and her team! From the start, she was incredibly responsive and helpful, guiding us towards the perfect photography package and answering all of our questions.
We were paired with her associate, Nora, for our big day, and she was absolutely fantastic! Her positive and relaxed demeanor made us feel completely at ease during our portraits. We never felt awkward or uncomfortable. Nora expertly captured all the shots on our list and also managed to get amazing candid moments.
Mallory’s sneak peeks arrived promptly and we were so happy with them! The final gallery was delivered soon after, and we’re absolutely in love with the results!
We recommend Mallory and her team to anyone planning a wedding! Photography was a priority for us, and they exceeded all expectations. The entire process was a breeze and filled with good vibes! -

Mallory is THE Best Photographer!
It all began when I came across Mallory's Instagram @mallorymunsonphotography. Her photography is very thought out and detail oriented, so I reached out to her to book engagement photos. Needless to say, she made my now husband and I feel so comfortable (even during some of the awkward photos), captured the most beautiful moments with some of the most stunning scenery up on top of a mountain. We kept in good contact with Mallory, and she became more than just a photographer for us, she felt like a best friend! As we were approaching our wedding date, we asked Mallory to travel from Denver to Detroit(1,300 miles!) because her personality, dedication, passion, and quality of work was unmatchable.... she said Yes! She really goes the extra mile! I don't even know where to begin explaining how amazing Mallory was to have as our Rehearsal and Wedding Day photographer...she is like family to not only my husband and I, but our extended family as well. To frame it up, she made our wedding day, and the pictures would justify that statement as well. The moments, emotion, and spirit she captured will always bring us back to feel like we are reliving our special day. She did not miss one shot. Our expectations were exceeded. We will forever treasure these photos and relationship we have now built with Mallory. There is no photographer we will use other than Mallory! Thank you so much for everything. It was so lovely having you part of our Engagement and Wedding! -

Mallory was an absolute joy to have as our wedding photographer. We had initially met her when we took engagement photos. She drove out into the mountains for us and got some amazing shots, all the while making us feel comfortable (and my husband and I are not the kind to feel super natural in front of a camera). Mallory’s ENERGY was magnetic and we knew we had to book her for our wedding! On our wedding day, Mallory and her team member were so professional and reliable, and I would 100% recommend you book Mallory (and do it soon). Mallory is also a super cool human and will feel like a friend than a vendor.

Mallory was so helpful and kind during the booking process! We were so excited she had availability with her incredible associate photographers and couldn’t wait to work together. The wedding day coverage was beyond expectation and the level of service provided was spectacular. We loved every second of working with Mallory and her team! Our photos came back exactly when they were promised and completely blew us away. She didn’t edit out any of our beautiful colorful day - she only made the day that much more colorful and special! We truly love everything about our experience with her and her company.

We booked Mallory for our engagement photos and our wedding photos nearly 2 years out in order to secure our top vendor and we are so glad we did! We were wowed by her portfolio, but what sealed the deal for us was what an awesome person she is- she's bubbly, funny, makes you feel comfortable and at ease, and is just an all around cool person and knew we would have a blast with her on our wedding day (and we did!). We loved our engagement photos and loved our wedding photos even more- could not recommend her enough. She was very responsive, created the timeline for our wedding day, drove the timeline day-of, and did it all with a huge smile while having fun with us, our family, and friends. We are so thankful for her and would recommend her to anyone and everyone! -

If you are thinking about getting Mallory as your photographer, you need to take the plunge and do it! Mallory was wonderful from start to finish. We postponed our wedding due to Covid and Mallory worked with us and was able to reschedule. Her presence at the wedding was professional and she is an amazing energy to be around.
My day may not have gone to plan, but when I got the pictures back from Mallory, I got to see all the moments that I may have missed during the evening and was so excited to see what a great time everyone had.
Here editing is out of this world and I am so glad that we were able to get her. Again, look no further for your wedding photographer, you have found her! -

Amazing Wedding Photos!
Mallory did an incredible job at editing our wedding photos. Her assistant Nora captured all of the special moments throughout the day. My husband and I both felt very comfortable throughout the entire process. The end results are breathtaking and something we will always treasure! -

Choosing Mallory was one of the easiest decisions we made right after getting engaged & she became a part of our wedding budget we were not willing to budge on- & we are so glad we didn't!
We knew immediately after seeing her quality of work on her Instagram & then portfolios that she was the one we wanted to document our wedding 1000%
Her work is truly incredible & a big part of that is who she is- Mallory is so outgoing, comfortable, funny, warm & friendly! She makes you feel as though you are old friends who have know each other for years & one who can read your mind even just after meeting!
My husband & I were of course nervous having never had professional pictures taken before but Mallory made us so comfortable & we really had a ton of fun with her! She was so sweet with our dog, who we desperately wanted a few wedding photos with (& of course we got some of the best pictures ever with him!)
I truly felt at ease the entire day. Usually I am anxious being the center of attention & don't love having my picture taken but Mallory squashed those nerves, giving great direction & making me laugh so any awkwardness was avoided. We just got our pictures back & both probably have over 300 favorites!!
Mallory really is incredible beyond words & we are so happy we became obsessed with her & snatched her up when we did! She was the only person's eyes we trusted & wanted to see our day though!
If you are thinking about booking Mallory- just do it! It'll be the easiest decision of your wedding planning!

Where to even begin! We were originally planning an intimate wedding of 35 people but with all of the pandemic chaos, we ended up changing it to an elopement with just the two of us, our officiant and Mallory! Mallory went above and beyond for us and we could not be happier with our photos. She was early on the day of our elopement and so supportive every step of the way. Not to mention we felt like we had known her our whole lives from the day we met her. Her good energy is infectious and definitely the kind of energy you want on your wedding day.
Our engagement photos were a dream too. I have 280 favorites from our elopement gallery. 280!! Like what! She is so incredibly talented and we are so grateful she was there to document our most special day. Mallory was our ONLY vendor (our officiant was a friend)! We loved her that much. If you’re considering hiring Mallory, DO IT. Best decision you could make regarding your wedding. We are infinitely grateful for you, M. -

Mallory was phenomenal. We saw her on instagram and loved her work, but Mallory was so much more than great photos. She was engaging from the first time we met her to after the ceremony. She was fun and had high energy throughout our process. She seemed to have a strong understanding and appreciation for who we were as a couple, and she captured that in our photos. She got the shot of every major moment in our event, and we were wowed by the end result she delivered. We felt like models and even might sell some of our pics to a magazine. I would enthusiastically hire Mallory again for any event we have or even for a casual couples photoshoot. She is worth every penny and more. -

I was slightly nervous about finding a place to take the "epic mountain shot" that I was planning in Beaver Creek, Colorado, luckily, one of the people at our venue knew of a place and Mallory was able to check it out and produce some of the best photos! We have only our previews, but I already know that all the shots will be brilliant. She was so funny and instructive that what could be a long and tiring process (hour-long couple shots) was fun and resulted in genuine smiles. We couldn't ask for a better photographer! Even my mother (a hard judge at best) was speaking about how amazing Mallory and her second shooter Amelia were during the reception and how hard they worked and how well they blended in with our party. Highly recommend!! -

I fell in love with Mallory’s work via Instagram. I never even spoke to another photographer before booking her. I never even spoke to Mallory before booking her. I saw her work and what she was capable of and knew we had to have her for our wedding.
We did not meet Mallory until our engagement shoot. We were so worried we would not vibe with her or would be so awkward. However, that was not the case at all. She put us so at ease and our pictures came out incredible.
She has this contagious bubbly personality that is such a delight to be around.
For our wedding we had a bridal party of 20 plus us. Our families are also large which meant she had a lot of people to manage. I cannot thank her enough for how great she did because without her I may have lost my mind! Her assistant who was also incredible. You could tell they both worked well together.
Every single member from either the bridal party or wedding guest that came in contact with her had nothing but good things to say about her.

We hired Mallory for both or engagement pictures and for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions that we made! The pictures came out amazing! Mallory is very friendly, creative, and organized and she made us feel comfortable for the entirety of the picture taking. She worked with us on everything we needed in terms of the timing and the pictures we needed to take with family and friends, and she was great with the other vendors, including a videographer. Everyone loved the pictures and working with Mallory and her assistant, and we would highly recommend hiring Mallory! -

Mallory's associate Marissa photographed our wedding with genuine care, joy and artistry! She is calm and creative, and helped us get gorgeous photos in a limited time frame... she captured every moment perfectly. Communicating with Mallory before and after the fact was a breeze - she is an amazing mix of professional and artistic. Very impressed. Mallory Munson Photography told the story of our engagement and our wedding better than I could have imagined. Her associate Katie took our photos and we couldn't have been happier. She made it fun, relaxed, and we were free to really explore our vision for our photos with her. Every photo was captured in such a genuine way. I still can't believe some of the shots she got. The team was such a pleasure to be with as well. I couldn't wait to print off and share our photos and now we have the most perfect memory of our engagement and our wedding forever. After booking a venue, the next vendor we booked was Mallory - I was thrilled that she was available for our big day (book her early, ladies!). She was so responsive to all of our questions, fun to work with, and captured all of our memories so well. We did our engagement shoot with Mallory and right from the start she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. The pictures we received were stunning and we knew then we were in for a treat with our wedding photos! On the big day, Mallory and Daniel were so professional and friendly, it felt like having two of our close friends by our side! Having both of their perspectives was incredible. I felt like our wedding day went by so quickly, it was like living it all over again when we got our photo gallery. They captured so many of the details that I had planned but didn't have time to notice on that day, which was really special. I can't thank them enough for all they did -- and would love for them to just follow us around and take pictures all the time!!! -
