Phebe is far more than just an amazing florist who is gifted at her craft. She goes far beyond just planning the “pretty things” and truly cares about your big day in its entirety. From our very first phone call with Phebe, she made our experience fun and knew exactly how to pull out our vision from our dream Pinterest Board to something realistic for our budget without compromising what still felt like “us”. She made sure to include my husband’s opinion just as much as mine as the bride (despite him laughing his way through how to describe his floral vision LOL!) and asked thoughtful questions about the other event details to make sure everything tied in seamlessly. When looking back on our wedding day, the ability to trust your vendors makes all the difference when being able to enjoy your day in the moment. Because of Phebe’s ability to talk through her plan and vision, we just knew we could trust that every detail would be perfect. She not only talked us through those details but showed us visually through a custom Pinterest Board and outlined proposal (that we revised multiple times, so thank you!!!). We genuinely appreciated all of her advice and could not have been happier with how stunning everything turned out! For a bride who requested all white and greenery, the florals were so well mixed between the types of flowers and textures that still made it feel so unique and special. Her passion for florals, mixed with her vibrant energy and genuine care for her clients, makes her such a dream to work with professionally and personally. We feel so lucky to know Phebe and we could not recommend her more to others! -

From our first phone call with Phebe, I knew she was the right person to bring our floral ideas to life. She has so much passion for what she does and truly cares about her clients. She took the time to understand what we were looking for, added her expertise and creativity and turned around a proposal that exceeded our expectations. As we worked through all the final details, I trusted that she made decisions as if it was her own event, which is a really nice feeling when you are juggling a lot of wedding details. To add to it all, Phebe is such a warm, kind and energetic person. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her!
The final product was stunning! We were blown away by the color palette and variety of flowers used in her arrangements. We received so many compliments from guests at the wedding, as well as questions about the florist for future events. Phebe was so sweet on the day - she stopped in to say hi when delivering the bouquets and we got a sneak peak of the reception room as she was finishing the final touches. Her flowers, candles and overall design made our wedding day so beautiful.
I would work with Phebe again in a heartbeat! -

Phebe is amazing!
Phebe is amazing! She was lovely to work with from start to finish and was so flexible when we had to push back our wedding due to Covid. When I was having trouble making a decision about vases at the last minute, she sent over photos right away and helped me decide. She's so passionate about what she does, and it's obvious she puts so much love into her work. She really wants you to love your flowers, and ours look amazing in photos. She also helped us make the most of our budget. Our wedding was in Newport at a church and then Oceancliff. She knew so much about Oceancliff and how we could set things up, save flowers for our Sunday brunch, etc. Her knowledge of our venue was invaluable, especially since we were planning from out of town. We highly recommend working with Phebe! -

Phebe went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more when looking for a floral vendor. From our first conversation, Phebe was attentive to our style and color palette…working to help us create our vision even though we had little to give her to start (we had not created a Pinterest or other inspirational/mood board). She is a true artist with her craft!
Phebe was attentive and conscientious of our budget, recommending arrangements that could be repurposed from the ceremony to the reception and suggesting where additions or cuts to our order would be most impactful. We never felt like Phebe was trying to upsell us arrangements we didn’t need. She easily flexed to our new day when we had to reschedule the ceremony and reception in the midst of COVID, despite having just given birth a few short months before our (second!) special day.
Phebe doesn’t just excel at customer service. Her arrangements speak for themselves. Each flower, stem, and spray was carefully selected by hand and arranged to maximize their beauty. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the decor.

Phebe is the absolute best- HANDS DOWN!
Working with Phebe was an absolute dream. She went above and beyond throughout the planning process! I was planning my wedding from a distance and we had several Facetime calls where we went over everything in detail. She even created a custom Pinterest board for me based on my vision and colors, and it was so helpful to be able to reference that as I was working with other vendors. Leading up to the wedding, she had JUST given birth and was still incredibly responsive and so happy to help with anything I needed. It is obvious that she is truly invested in every single one of her clients. On the Wedding Day, Phebe delivered everything on time and the final product was so far beyond what I could have ever imagined. She designed a beautiful setup for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and I received so many compliments on our bouquets & boutonnieres. Her team stayed through part of the event and was able to repurpose some of the items to help save on costs, AND they came back to clean up at the end of the evening. I really cannot recommend Phebe and her team enough, she truly was amazing to work with, and her flowers made the day so incredibly beautiful. -

My first conversation with Phebe Higgins of Grace Floral and Company convinced me that I had found the right floral designer for my son's May Rehearsal Dinner in Newport. It was as if Phebe was reading my mind about blossoms and arrangements and blue and white china containers. When Phebe described her arrangements as "Garden and Gathered" I knew she was the one. She delivered the Rehearsal Dinner Centerpieces of my dreams. Here's what happened next: everyone at the dinner commented on the flowers - roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus, stock and more - and on how handsome the rooms - both dining room and bar area - looked as a result. As dinner was ending, I walked around the tables, and let friends and family know they could decide who would take the floral arrangements and blue and white containers china home. They were so excited! The amazing thing is the long history of what is still happening with these arrangements. Two arrangements went home with my sisters to their Newport hotels. One then carried hers back to Nantucket - and got compliments on the ferry about how beautiful the flowers were! One carried hers from Newport to my Mother’s house in Bryn Mawr, PA. My Mom, a landscape architect and 7 decades long gardener, is loving her arrangement! ‘A perfect balance of loose and luxurious, with gorgeous colors and inventive combinations.” Two arrangements and several bud vases went with the bridesmaids back to the gatehouse at OceanCliff. The bridesmaids then took them home with them! One arrangement is on a dining room table in Warren, RI. Two are in Walpole, MA with aunts of the bride. I have enjoyed my own vase - at OceanCliff for the two days after the dinner, and now it’s on the dining room table. It's been over a week!
Perfectly conditioned, beautifully arranged flowers that are proving to have incredible longevity - and that are continuing to provide joy to many. -

Phebe is a creative GENIUS! She is extremely passionate about her work and the florals she created for our wedding day were absolutely perfect!
If you’ve just started planning your wedding and are already feeling bogged down by decision fatigue, Phebe will be your floral spirit guide!
Before I connected with her, I had no idea what I wanted for our wedding florals (and my husband had even less of a clue). Phebe held our hands through every step of the process and made the experience incredibly enjoyable! She provided multiple points of inspiration so we could understand the options, while still allowing me to put my own personal taste into every floral selection. My husband even remarked that he enjoyed the process of picking his favorite pins from the Pintrest inspiration board!
It’s rare to work with someone who is so blessed with creative gifts, yet also excels on the administrative side of things. But Phebe does both excellently. Her contracts are written so actual humans can understand them and she emphasizes the importance of communication.
I hope by the time you are reading this that COVID-19 will just be a bad, yet distant, memory. But we had to push our wedding date by 4 months due to COVID and Phebe was generously able to accommodate our new date without missing a beat.
We cannot begin to thank Phebe enough for her beautiful work and we HIGHLY recommend her!! -

Phebe is so incredibly gifted and truly a sweetheart!! We had the best time working with her! She puts such a great personal touch on her work and made our wedding dream come to life! Even down to the little details she nailed! I'd highly recommend her to anyone getting married in New England if you're looking for someone with an incredible vision, so talented & a pleasure to work with!!

We got married at the OceanCliff Hotel & Resort in Newport, RI in March, 2020. Phebe was an absolute pleasure to work with! I loved her willingness and availability to meet in person to discuss design details and to just hang out and share fun ideas! She was able to turn my vision of a whimsical, romantic, dreamy design into a reality! The flower arrangements and bouquets she prepared were so beautiful in person and in pictures. She also created a beautiful copper arch structure for our ceremony, which came out gorgeous. Phebe was also very flexible and creative in helping us put together decor for the ceremony that could also be repurposed for the reception. -

Gaby T. Sent on 12/09/2017It was about a year ago that my daughter and her fiancé decided to start planning their wedding. Like many wedding plans that start out with a small intimate event, it quickly doubled in size and then we needed help!
We started looking for venues, photographers, music and this is when we first heard about Making Me Events and Phebe Robinson. Our photographer told us that he had worked with a lady that had an attention to detail and a work ethic that was impressive and worth looking into. By this time we were running into all kinds of problems and we definitely started feeling the stress and what everyone describes as a nightmare waiting to happen so when we contacted Phebe, we were ready to “throw in the towel”.
The day that Phebe Robinson walked into our wedding plans was the start of the wedding of my daughter’s dreams. She worked with our every need and set out a plan that made sense, it’s a process and Phebe has that process down to an art. She is truly a wedding planner that makes dreams come true. She works hard to merge your vision, your style, your personality with her experience, work ethic and flawless taste. If you let her work her magic, she will make your wedding enjoyable and beautiful! Lindsay Sent on 10/30/2012Planning a wedding in New Hampshire while living in DC is no easy feat. That's why we called in Phebe at Making ME Event Planning Firm and never looked back.
Phebe is the queen of vintage and romantic design. She totally got the vibe we were going for, took the ball and ran with it. She had wonderful recommendations on how to save money, and even did many DIY projects on our behalf (glazing mason jars anyone?). One of her great recommendations was getting flowers from Whole Foods, which I would guess saved us at least $1,000.
Phebe was always accessible via phone and email whenever we needed her. She kept us on track with checklists and reminders of things we needed to do. We had a shared Pinterest board that I kept filling with ideas, so I always felt involved.
In the end, our wedding day was absolutely perfect. I didn't stress one bit knowing Phebe was in charge. Our guests are still raving about how well designed and uniquely personalized our wedding was. We owe tons of thanks to Phebe and her team for Making ME a happy bride. -
User918293 Sent on 08/31/2012Phebe is amazing! She is such a sweet woman who is PASSIONATE about design, events, and everything vintage. She was my DOC for my wedding and she met with me in the months leading up to my wedding. She gave me advice and helped me with things I didn't even think of. She created a personalized schedule for me and coordinated all my vendors and participants in the wedding. She decorated everything the morning of the wedding as well in a limited time. The day of the wedding I was calm, cool, and collected because I knew Phebe was there to make sure everything was decorated, all the vendors were on time, and to keep the wedding running smoothly and as planned.
