Monika is an absolute treasure! We all adored her. She was fun, upbeat, happy, helpful, accommodating. It honestly felt like we were getting our makeup done with a friend. And the best part is... we all LOVED our looks! Many of us said "this is the best we will probably ever look in our lives." LOL! It was the best day ever!!! -

I cannot say enough good things about Makiaj Beauty!! I am so happy I chose them for my hair & makeup for my wedding! Diana did such an amazing job and is literally the sweetest! She was such a joy to work with! She did my bridal trial, bridal shower and wedding day hair and makeup! She made me feel like the most beautiful bride, truly made my dreams come true! Makiaj Beauty made the entire process so seamless and were so easy to work with! Amazing customer service! Cannot recommend them enough! -

I have been following Makiaj Beauty for years and knew that as soon as it was my turn to become a bride they would be one of the first vendors I would book! Anissa did both my hair and make up and made me feel my absolute best. She is extremely knowledgable and knew how to address every concern I had about keeping my hair and make up looking their best the entire night. The entire team did my whole bridal party, mother-in-law, my mother and our flower girl. They made the morning so fun and had everyone looking their absolute best. If they are available on your wedding date, look no further, Makiaj is the best in the business! -

I feel so fortunate to have had Makiaj do my hair and makeup, bridesmaids' hair and makeup, and my mom's hair and makeup on my wedding day! They traveled to our venue, brought additional lighting, and created a timeline to ensure everything stayed on track. Danielle did my hair and makeup for my trial and wedding day, and to say I felt beautiful would be an understatement. We received SO many compliments on our hair and makeup! Not only was her work incredible, but Danielle is also extremely kind and professional. We couldn't have asked for a better team!! I am forever grateful. -

I am blown away by the artists at Makiaj. The “Maki Fam” IS a true FAM. A very cute tagline-and it’s genuine.

The deets:
Having a wedding across the country meant I did my makeup and hair trial the week of the wedding. I missed my flight (first time ever and seemed fitting it’d happen for my wedding week.) So we rebooked and that meant I was going to run a little late for my trial. I emailed and texted the Makiaj team giving them a heads up. My travel day ended up getting worse with rental car delays and an airport evacuation? I ended up being an HOUR LATE to my appointment. Coming from the NYC area I know even 15 minutes late can get you booted, and regardless of where you’re located, being this late is just not acceptable. I was so embarrassed and felt HORRIBLE. I was fully prepared for the artists to say “hey sorry we can’t take you anymore” OR if they could only do HALF of the work, I was mentally prepared to be happy with just my makeup trial and skipping the hair.
I walked in, profusely apologizing to Danielle and Diana because I was so late. They were SO inviting and nice and didn’t make me feel bad ONE BIT about being late. I honestly was shocked. I can’t think of anywhere else I’ve been where someone would be this gracious. I lucked out big time. It’s how I would want to treat others and I was so grateful. Danielle and Diana didn’t half ass it with me, they made me feel so special.
Then on wedding day I had Danielle and Ayleen who took care of me and the most special women in my life!! My mom, Kayla, Molly, Maeve, Martyna, Meg. They all looked SO stunning. Everyone was gorgeous. Pictures were perfect.
Thank you Maki Fam! I only wish we lived closer so I could hang out with you all and enjoy your work more! For a special night or a wedding, they’re a dream. ✨ -

I cannot thank these ladies enough for making me look perfect for my big day. I used them for my hair and makeup for our engagement shoot and didn’t hesitate to book them for our wedding. Vanessa is AMAZING. She has a way of making you feel comfortable and confident. She did my hair and makeup for 3 of my events (2 Indian-which required draping and 1 White Dress) and perfected every look. The compliments and pictures speak for themselves. I found Makiaj Beauty while searching for vendors on Instagram and was floored by their hair and makeup transformations. Within minutes of filling out the interest form on their website, I received a phone call from Jazlyn and Vanessa asking about my wedding and engagement. Planning a destination wedding, I really had to trust my vendors and the ladies of Makiaj Beauty were wonderful to work with!! Vanessa is truly an artist and made me feel like so much more than just another client.
During my trial, Vanessa was fantastic - she listened to what I wanted and made personalized suggestions based on her many years in the industry. Her confidence throughout the entire process was what sold me - I trusted that she could bring my dream glam to life and she did!!
I felt so beautiful and confident on my wedding day and I cannot thank Vanessa and the Makiaj Beauty team enough. If you want to look and feel like a star on your wedding day, BOOK THEM RIGHT NOW!! After taking photos all day in the Arizona sun, crying at the wedding and dancing my booty off all night - I still looked flawless.

I think the best luck I had on my wedding weekend was booking Vanessa for hair and make-up. She is quick, professional and beyond talented. I booked her 3 times for 3 different looks. Now I know why hollywood ladies look so glamorous. 6 out of 5 stars! Plus, she is really cool to hang out with for the two hours it takes for your ultimate beauty transformation. I'm addicted. -

My bridal party and I loved everything about Makiaj Beauty. They were timely and handled a large group of opinionated women. The staff was accommodating to different requests including lashes and hair extensions. We even made a quick change to my hair the week of due to weather and the stylist went with the flow, had great ideas and made me feel absolutely gorgeous. -

Everyone was AMAZING. I got married on Black Friday and had a large group of girls (including moms) that needed full hair and makeup. My bridesmaids looked stunning and everyone including myself was ready with time to spare. This beautiful makeup team came to us at my venue early Friday morning and stayed with me until the final touches were needed. I changed my hairstyle the morning of my wedding because I lost my hair piece and Janet did an amazing job at making sure the look was exactly everything I dreamed of and more. Everyone is very positive and makes sure you feel relaxed and pampered on your special day. I wouldn't trust anyone else but this talented team to make my girls and I look our best for the big day. The day after my now husband proposed to me, an old friend/coworker Vanessa had congratulated us and I thought of how I wanted her to do my hair and makeup for wedding day! I didn’t book as soon as I should’ve because the only opening they had for my wedding day was super early in the morning at their shop. So my sister and best friend joined me at 5am on wedding day for hair and makeup because I refused to have anyone else doll me up! Vanessa is THAT great at what she does. Plus, she’s so cute and fun to be around. Her and the other girls who teamed up to get us ready were so upbeat considering how early in the morning it was! They also sent us with a little touch up kit to get us by until ceremony time. I barely touched up, I just had to use a setting spray a few times throughout the morning, which is saying a lot because I have very oily skin! In any case, these girls are amazing at what they do and I plan to have Vanessa doll me up for other occasions!
