Sara was the first vendor I booked (even though she is in Virginia Beach and I was getting married in OBX), and I'm so glad I did! Sara was so wonderful and made everyone in my wedding party look and feel their absolute best. She really listened to what each of us wanted for our make-up looks and was so flexible and kind. Her willingness to travel, her professionalism, and her ability to work with so many of us that “don’t really wear make-up so we don’t know what we want” was really appreciated. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day (and the night before at the rehearsal) all thanks to her. I also loved that she traveled to me for the makeup trial, which I found is rare for wedding vendors. I loved my experience with Sara. I bought the package where all of my girls got their makeup done. She brought an assistant and did a great job on all of my girls. The absolute BEST!
Sara is the BEST there is and I’m so happy she was my makeup artist AND hair stylist for my wedding day. Her work is absolutely gorgeous and photographs so well. She is also so sweet! During my trial, I told her what I was wanting and she nailed it. I took our engagement photos after the trial. When it came to my wedding day, I told her a couple of adjustments and she absolutely nailed it AGAIN! She was there for through all the photos, doing touch ups and ensuring my hair was in the right place. During one round of photos, my husband to be nailed me right in the bridge of my nose with his cowboy hat. Luckily it didn’t bleed, but Sara was quick to camouflage it and it was like it never even happened. the makeup lasted all day (and night). She even gives you a little touch up bag with lipstick and eyelash glue for after she leaves. If I had to pick an artist again, without a doubt, I’m picking MakeupbySAC!!

Sara was amazing to work with!! She takes her time to ensure everyone likes how they envisioned and was excellent at maintaining our timeline. We had 10 girls getting makeup done and we were ready exactly when we were supposed to be. She then came with us to the venue to touch up everyone’s makeup before the ceremony and after. Sara is amazing ! She somehow had a opening for my wedding and was flexible with meeting me to do my trial. She is really professional and sweet. I enjoyed my time with her during the trial and at the wedding. She did more than expected and made sure I was good to go , in more than just my makeup.
My MAKEUP WAS STUNNING . So was all of my bridesmaids and my mother. Sara is really so talented , and I was in awe of how she works and how good she really is. I was looking for a traveling MUA for my wedding. My fiance found Sara on IG! Her work obviously speaks for itself and we had to book her! I had the best experience! She did my hair and makeup and killed it!! Sara and her assistant arrived early, were so easy to talk to, and worked in a professional timely manner. The makeup application was quick and so beautiful!!!! She chose the perfect products to use on my skin, I didn't even feel like I was wearing makeup! My makeup was exactly what I hoped for today! Sara is amazing!
I hired Sara for my wedding and she did a great job! She is so kind and really knows what she's doing. After my initial trial, she listened to all of the tweaks I wanted and made them happen so I felt BEAUTIFUL on my wedding day. I had a large bridal party with a wide range of skin types and tones, but everyone LOVED the way their makeup turned out. We all looked flawless! One of my bridesmaids even ended up hiring Sara for her wedding too. Sara was flexible, knowledgeable, and really felt like a friend helping me get ready in the months leading up to the wedding and for the events on our wedding day. 10/10 would recommend!

Sara is incredible! I met her when I was a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding. She made me feel so comfortable and the makeup was done so well that I knew I would hire her for my wedding! On my wedding day, she arrived early, was super professional, made everyone so comfortable, and of course, beautiful!! I booked Sara for my small wedding in Nov. 2020 and I am blown away by the results. Not only did I feel amazing and confident but the photos turned out amazing! Sara was absolutely incredible!!! From answering my messages right away, to accommodating my crazy schedule, to her outstanding professionalism during this crazy COVID world, to the real & honest advice she'll give you when it comes your skin/products she uses, but mostly to how incredibly talented she is as a makeup artist!! She is extremely knowledgeable in her craft! She made me look absolutely gorgeous for Anniversary photos with my husband and then a few weeks later I went back because I wanted her to teach me how to do just a snippet of what she does...not only did she help me feel more comfortable with applying my own makeup but she taught me so much about the industry, I was very impressed! Excellent makeup artist and makeup teacher
Sara is a fantastic professional makeup artist and makeup teacher! I am so thankful for her and I highly recommend her for all of your makeup needs.
I wanted to learn to do my own formal makeup for my engagement photos and wedding and she literally took me from zero to ten for the look I wanted, all over a long phone call where she took me step by step through a long formal makeup application process. She eagerly answered many questions that came up as I started practicing on my own. She also kindly offered to video chat and provide advice as she observes me apply the makeup, but I have not used this service yet.
With her skills, and vast knowledge, she equipped me with the confidence, skills, techniques, tips, and tricks that I needed in order to create a beautiful look for myself. I had never used liquid eyeliner or eyeshadow before, and because of Sara I now have the skills to do this well. I appreciate that she understands how to work with different eye types, facial structures, skin types, etc.
She also gave several recommendations for products for each step in the routine that were within my budget that work great! I watched her tutorial using the Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palette many times and found it extremely helpful; this is what I used as my application guide as I practiced.
In addition to all of this, Sara has a beautiful personality; she is kind, patient, easy to talk to, fun to work with, and eager to help in any way. Sara exceeded my expectations and she will exceed yours too.

Sara is the most kind, talented, knowledgeable, and experienced makeup artist I could have hoped to work with for our wedding! I had worked with her previously for my boudoir shoot and knew that I needed her to do my makeup for our wedding. She listened exactly to my wants and needs and made recommendations based on what I said I wanted (even when I didn’t know best and thought I didn’t want fake lashes ;). She achieved the EXACT look that I wanted and had showed her, BOTH times (for boudoir and our wedding). My husband was in AWE over how amazing my full beat face looked (since he’s only ever seen my amateur attempts lol)-- I knew he liked the natural look, but I like more of a glam look-- after explaining that to Sara, she came up with the PERFECT middle ground look, where Camden was wow-ed and I was also SOOOOO confident and happy with how I looked! I have been a huge fan of Sara’s ever since I discovered her through Instagram and after following her work for some time, I knew I wanted her to do my makeup for the wedding. I love how she posts all the makeup she has done on her social media, so you can browse through her portfolio basically. She is very quick to respond to any questions or just in general comments. I am very appreciative and thankful for her flexibility during the pandemic especially with our big reception being moved. She is so talented and can do a wide range of makeup looks and on diverse faces. I asked for a bronzey dewey look and she DELIVERED. This is even without a makeup trial. I showed two pictures and she did even BETTER than those pictures. She really listens to what the client likes and dislikes. My makeup survived multiple rounds of happy tears on the wedding day, but still felt light and didn’t weigh my face down. She even packs you a bridal bag with everything you need for touching up. My mom is very picky about her makeup and loved it. She looked like she was 30 again! My bridal crew also looked go good. Sara is so talented and I highly recommend her to anyone for any makeup look.

Sarah is a master at her craft. I requested full makeup and hair for a wedding photo shoot and one additional session of makeup for a holiday party. I always planned to do my own hair and makeup for my wedding because I don’t trust ANYONE else...until Sara! I met her doing a shoot about 10 months before my wedding and my mind was instantly changed. She listened to my picky worries, asked questions, took her time with things I was concerned about and gave me options to choose from style and color wise. I have never felt so flawless! One top of that, it was 95 degrees and a completely outside wedding and my makeup help up! I can not recommend enough and Sara will be my go-to for any future hair & makeup needs!

Sara was such an amazing person to work with! She did my makeup for my wedding along with my maid-of-honor, mother, and mother-in-law. We all loved our makeup. Sara did SUCH a great job. My face gets pretty oily as the day goes on and I don know how she did it but her makeup application kept me oil free while still looking super natural which was what I wanted. Let me introduce you to this beauty! Her name is Sarah Rich and is a professional makeup artist here in the Hampton Roads area. She did our makeup for Christiana’s wedding and did a phenomenal job!!! She was SO professional, very detailed, and truly listened to what we wanted!!! She also makes you feel so comfortable!!! The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional!!! I can’t recommend her enough!!! One last thing!! At the wedding we didn’t have a wedding coordinator and soon realized we were going to need one! Without hesitation Sara also took on the role of wedding coordinator as well, and when I say she went above and beyond is an understatement!!! I don’t know what we would have done without her!!! Great Energy and incredible Talent.
Sarah is one of those rare professionals that work in the creative industry and have balanced all the skills it takes to be a dream. Usually super Crestive people are highly skilled, but naturally come with some complications professionally, or highly organized and professional, but maybe not actually that skilled or creative. Sarah has the best of all...the skill to make me want to pick her first, and then the professionalism and reliability to make me proud to recommend her to you and my friends. Sara and her assistant, Andrea, were absolutely amazing! They made my bridesmaids and me feel incredibly beautiful on the inside and outside. Sara is extremely experienced, talented, and professional. When talking with her it felt like a friend I had known for years. She listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me just that. Sara was an absolute pleasure to work with. She couldn't have been more friendly and professional. She and her assistant, Andrea, did full makeup for 8 people. We all were impressed with how quickly and smoothly it went-they even finished early! Their work was simply beautiful-everybody raved over their makeup when it was complete!

I had the opportunity to work with Sara in May for a branding photoshoot for my business. I reached out to Sara with little direction and a short time frame, she was incredibly kind and gracious.
She communicated very well and kept in touch every step of the way. She really took the time to ask and be clear on what I was looking for and helped me find direction where I wasn’t sure what I needed.
She did four models and the make up made the girls look absolutely radiant. Sara really went above and beyond to make the girls feel comfortable during the make-process, answering any questions they had. The girls felt so confident and were glowing with the make-up look she did on each girl. We had all different skin tones/types of models as well and Sara was able to work with every girl without any problems.
I would absolutely work with Sara again and AGAIN! I highly recommend her. She has such a sweet personality, she is very punctual and showed up to the event on time, and her work is beautiful. She really has a gift for making women look effortlessly beautiful.
Finally, I just really appreciate the way Sara treated me every step of the way, I felt she really took the time to listen, get to know me, and made me feel like my wants/needs were important to her.
Again, would definitely recommend Sara. Thank you Sara, I really appreciate everything you did for me as a client!

I recently hired Sara to do my makeup and take some head shots for my new website. To say that I was thrilled is an understatement! Sara was very responsive to my request and was very professional and kind.
She is an amazing makeup artist and has the sweetest personality. Sara really cares about your skin and how you want to look in your photos. Okay, what can’t this woman do! She is so talented in what she does and makes it look effortless! Being a makeup lover my myself I find it hard to have someone to do my makeup and for me to feel comfortable in it and at the same time love it and she does both! I feel like myself just more enhanced! I’ve had the pleasure of Sara doing my makeup a few times and have been able to see her do natural looks as well as more bold looks! i don’t usually wear makeup so Sara did it all for me! She made me feel amazing and beautiful and did a perfect job matching my skin tone. Also the fake eyelashes were the icing on top of the cake! 10/10 recommend!

Sara is absolutely amazing! She is so kind hearted and her passion for makeup shines. She is so supportive, attentative, and encouraging. She is everything a bride could ask for...especially when I myself am obsessed with makeup. I'm so glad I chose Sara for my special day, she glamed me up exactly how I hoped to look.
She even spent the day with me and touched up makeup for photos, per my request. And honestly my makeup didn't even budge, just a lipstick touch up here and there (which we know is inevitable)! But I'm so glad she stuck with me for the day because she was so kind and celebrated alongside with me. Working with Sara you can tell makeup is her passion and she truly cares about her clients.
