Michelle and Erica did my makeup and bridal party's makeup for my wedding this past weekend. They did the most amazing job and we were all thrilled with the final product! They were very prompt and professional, and I could not be more happy with how beautiful everyone looked! -

Michelle was always professional, friendly, courteous, and attentive. She was able to accommodate my schedule since I was coming from out of town for both the trial and my wedding. She made me feel comfortable and able to voice my opinion without any hesitation. I've never had my make-up done by a professional that I was pleased with (being Asian, I was extra particular), until I met Michelle! She listened to my concerns and the outcome was fantastic. I received so many comments about my complexion, a "flawless" look. I highly recommend Michelle to any bride looking to show off her best features on her special day, or for any other special event. My sister, whom is extremely picky, plans to book Michelle for her own wedding! A HUGE Thank You to Michelle! -

Michelle is an absolute gem! She provided makeup and airbrush makeup services for my sister's wedding. During the busy wedding season Michelle was able to accomodate my sister's wedding last minute despite having another wedding booked that same afternoon. She was extremely professional, kind and very bubbly. The most important part of my review is the attention to detail Michelle has, she listens to the ideas of the customer and assists them in choosing colors that will compliment their overall skin tone, hair color, eye shape etc. The overall services per person took around 30-40 minutes, but it is worth every minute, we could not have looked any better and it was all due to Michelle and her amazing work! I highly highly recommend her for your upcoming wedding, prom, special day!! We cannot wait for her to assist in my upcoming wedding! Book Michelle today! You will not be disappointed!!! -

When deciding who was going to do my make-up for my big day I made sure to ask around and do my research, I mean the last thing I wanted was to not look like myself! A co-worker of mine recommended I check out Michelle's website & Facebook page, he had worked with her previously and had nothing but great things to say. After looking at a few of the photos she had posted I immediately contacted Michelle and booked her services. Michelle got back to me right away and explained her different services and made some recommendations. I ultimately decided to go with the airbrush service because she informed me it would last all day and I must say, she was right!
Michelle applied my airbrush makeup around 10:00 am and when my reception ended at midnight my makeup still looked flawless. As did my mom's, my sister's and one of my bridesmaid's, who also had Michelle apply their make-up. The part that made me feel the most comfortable is Michelle asked me throughout the application if I liked how something looked, it made me feel included, like I got a say in how I looked, which is clearly important! Michelle also travels to the location in which you are getting ready which makes the whole process stress-free.
Overall, I can't say enough good things, my make-up looked amazing on my big day and I would recommend Michelle's services to all future brides! -

I couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist than Michelle. She was so sweet and took the time to get to know me a little and find out what I was hoping for out of my wedding day. She took my vision of how I wanted to look and made it a reality. I felt like an absolute princess on my wedding day, not to mention my photos look amazing! One of my friends said I looked like I was out of a magazine, which is really a compliment to Michelle, since she created "the look."
I would recommend Michelle to anyone. With weddings you wonder if you will get value for the money you're spending, and every penny with Michelle was worth it to create a lasting memory! -

Michelle did my bridal makeup and some of my bridal party. She was professional, friendly and most importantly made us all look beautiful! My wedding was an outdoor reception in what ended up being a 90 degree day- and everyone couldn't believe that my makeup still looked great in that heat at the end of the night. I would recommend Michelle for any event- she is worth every penny! -

I am simply thrilled with everything Michelle did to help me make my special day perfect! I really looked beautiful...and felt glamorous! And that was tough to do for this mature bride! Michele was highly professional...on-time... and honored our contract to a `t.' I had contacted her at the last minute....2 months before our wedding. She could have taken advantage of that ...but didnt! In fact her fee was most reasonable.. Her work is absolutely stunning. My complexion looked flawless...and the make-up lasted for 20 hours! Everyone commented on how wonderful I looked and our pictures came up beautifully! Michele is also a sweet and kind woman....she knew I didn't want anything but a natural look...and she delivered! I can't say enough about her work...and her professionalism. What a wonderful difference she made! THANK YOU Michele!! -

I was simply thrilled with the service Michele Sperazz provided me!!! I looked BEAUTIFUL and felt glamorous for my big day....no small feat as I am a `mature' bride! I was blown away with the natural yet gorgeous look Michelle was able to achieve for myself, and my matron of honor. She was on-time, professional, and oh so kind and patient! Her work is outstanding, and, her fee was reasonable. I had called her 2 months before the wedding,and, she was able to include me into her busy schedule. She followed the letter of our contract to a `t'...as I was rushed for time. I can't say enough about her work! I really did look younger.... and....`better' in a most natural way. FANTASTIC! Michelle is a brilliant artist.... I used Michelle's services for a television appearance....and the result was absolutely wonderful! First of all, Michele is a warm, generous & professional....I felt cared for & understood. I didn't want a `made-up' look...since I rarely even wear make-up! Michele changed her schedule to accommodate me at the last minute...and came to my location.Michelle was able to totally transform my look....many of my long-time `viewers' called to say how great I looked. Michelle was professional, very pleasant and even dealt with my bridezilla moment the morning of my wedding . She did a wonderful job with my airbrush makeup ! I would totally recommend her and air brush to any bride looking for makeup that will endure a busy (emotional ) day of kissing , talking and smiling. Typically makeup stays on me for about one hour, the airbrush gave me the feel of looking like a bride, not my everyday look ! -

Michelle was friendly, sweet, and did such a great job with my makeup, my bridesmaids' makeup, and my mom's makeup. I'm not a person who usually wears too much makeup, so I didn't want anything too heavy or fake on my wedding day. Michelle listened to that and did an amazing job. Michelle is a BRILLIANT makeup artist! On my wedding day she made my bridal party and I look and feel absolutely glamorous. On top of that, she is very sweet and truly cares about making you happy. Having her there the morning of the wedding eliminated so much stress because makeup was one less thing we had to worry about. A----MAZING! Michelle was referred to me by my hair stylist to use on my wedding day. As someone that rarely wears makeup, I was unsure as far as what to expect from a "professional" make-up application. Upon our initial conversation, Michelle made me feel comfortable and was able to answer all of my questions completely, indicating to me that she was truly a professional in this area! She even took the time to do a trial application for me, at a reasonable rate to put my concerns at ease. After this trial, I was hooked. Combining her experience, and my suggestions on what I wanted for the day I could not have been happier with the results, and the makeup felt so natural. I still felt like myself...Just a more glamourous and spiced up version! I even had her do makeup for my sister and mother on my wedding day and bought some of the products she used on me to use daily! I would recommend Michelle for any special day and will be using her in the future. She was practical, professional, considerate, and made me feel amazing on my wedding day! Best Make Up artist Ever!! Michelle did my makeup, my mom's, all if my sisters & accomidateing me adding a bridesmaid at the last minute, so she did all 6 of our make up for the wedding. She comes to you & can cover anything!! I burnet myself right in the middle of my forehead on Friday night before our rehearsal dinner, will never attempt to curl my hair again. Michelle covered this massive & horrible burn with no problem, the make up lasted all day, no one had any clue that I burnet myself & for the first time in my life I truly felt beautiful!! She is amazing & I recommend hiring her for any & all events!!! Myself and my family will be calling her everytime I am home for an event in Buffalo, NY!!! -

Michelle did makeup for 5 ladies, two days in a row, at my house about 1 hour south of Buffalo, NY. Not only was she accommodating, but she was very particular about the way we felt during the application process and how we felt after she was done. Michelle listens to what her clients want and provides good suggestions if she feels that the exact look cannot be achieved but perhaps a take on the look. Michelle also KNOWS how to apply makeup, from her presence alone you can tell that she has years of experience, and she applies makeup so you look natural yet radiant rather than caked on!
I highly recommend her for wedding makeup for both large or small parties, she's amazing! -

Michelle and her assistant did a fantastic job the day of my wedding; I couldn't have been happier and felt absolutely beautiful! I do not wear make-up on a daily basis, and wanted to look natural and Michelle made it happen. I had originally planned on having the traditional make-up application, but during my trial we decided to switch to airbrush, which lasted all day and night, great decision. There were a total of 8 girls who had their make-up done and everyone was so, so pleased. The week before the wedding we had a time and location change of where the make-up would be completed and Michelle accommodated us, which I greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Michelle’s expertise to others!! -

I agree with the other bride that said - "HIGHLY UNRELIABLE! BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK!" I booked Michelle and paid in full in September of 2011 for my 9/1/12 wedding. When I wasn't able to get my makeup done at 7:30 a.m. (for my 2 p.m. wedding), she cancelled on me in March '12 because she had a bigger wedding party that she was trying to book for the same day. What is the point of having a contract with someone if she can break it whenever they want? I was so disappointed in her customer service - not even and apology or legitimate excuse for cancelling on me. She didn't even respond to my last email to her. Horrible customer service and just horrible all around. I wouldn't book with her if you have a small wedding party or aren't willing to accommodate HER schedule. Because, you know... she's the client. Thank God I found someone who was great, offered the same services at a much better price and actually remembered who her customer was. -

HIGHLY UNRELIABLE! BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK! After doing a fair bit of research last summer, Michelle and I signed a contract in late July/early August of 2011 for my wedding in June of 2012. That contract included an agreed upon appointment time for makeup applications that day. Michelle advertises that she books on a "first come, first serve basis" so I booked early to be sure that I could have her there when I needed her -- our makeup would be fresh and ready for the ceremony, last through the evening, and the photographer would be there for the "getting ready" photos.
For nine months, I felt secure and confident about the booking and our contract -- and I felt confident that Michelle would provide the services we booked at the time that was written in the contract. However, the third week in April, two months before my wedding, I received an e-mail from Michelle stating "I'm going to need to change the time for your wedding day...I'm going to need to make it earlier. Can you be flexible that morning?" My wedding is at 4PM and the make-up applications were scheduled for the afternoon, so the phrase "that morning" had me a bit concerned, but I politely reminded her why we scheduled for the time we did in the contract (reasons which included the ceremony's start time and being sure that the photographer would be there for "getting ready" photos). Michelle responded a day and a half later and declared that since it was "just" me and a regular makeup application (my mother), she had to change the appointment time to 9:00AM (for a 4:00PM wedding!). The booking was "just" for the two of us because we have chosen not to have a bridal party. Michelle continued, "because you are not willing to be flexible with me I'm going to have to refund your deposit and cancel with you if you can't do the 9:00 time slot." Aside from being contrary to our contract, this time was totally unreasonable since a regular make-up application probably wouldn't even last until the ceremony, let alone through the evening, if it were done SEVEN HOURS before the event! As if that weren't upsetting enough, her ego then reared it's ugly head as she continued, "I have many brides just waiting to book me that day and would be flexible just to have me do their makeup." So, apparently I wasn't supposed to give a damn about our contract and was supposed to be grateful that she was willing to do our makeup at all! She then claimed that "any salon would have to do the same thing to run a business." I have NEVER been to a salon or spa anywhere in the world that did not honor their appointment times.
Michelle's written statements made it clear that she had already or was about to book a more financially lucrative job that conflicted with my appointment time and so she was tossing our agreement aside in order to take the bigger payout! She had her own financial interests firmly in mind, but she did not care at all about her previous commitment to me or my needs.
So, She clearly does NOT book on a first come, first served basis. Rather, she is willing to toss previous commitments and contracts out completely if she gets a better offer later! After learning all of this the hard way, I realized I would never want to work with someone with such poor business ethics anyway. Straightaway, and in a bit of a panic, I scrambled to find another airbrush make-up artist a mere two months before my wedding day and was fortunate enough to find that, as fate would have it, my other top choice artist was (quite surprisingly) still available on my wedding day! Actually, it was the ONLY day she WAS still available! Her training and portfolio/resume is equally impressive and I did not book with her originally only because she was going to be a bit more expensive. This time around, choosing reliability over money savings, I booked her right away -- and she will remain on hand from the appointment time until I depart for my ceremony on my wedding day, just in case we need her for anything.
So after all if this, you might wonder why I gave Michelle two stars for responsiveness? Well, I told her the next day (Saturday) that since she was not willing to honor our contract, I did indeed want my deposit refunded. I told her that under the circumstances, I expected the refund to be postmarked and in the mail by the following Monday. It was, and I received it promptly. She might screw you service-wise, but she at least isn't a thief. -
