Great Experience!

After having to cancel my original wedding in Florida, I had to scramble to plan a new one in Virginia on a shorter timeline. I reached out to several hair and make-up artists around Gainesville, and Brooke was very responsive and reasonably priced, so I booked her to do mine and my MOH's hair and make-up. Due to the short timeline, I opted not to do a trial which I was initially nervous about, but I sent pictures to Brooke ahead of time and she planned to arrive early give us plenty of time on the day-of. My MOH and I were very happy with how everything turned out! Brooke was awesome and I highly recommend her services!

Highly recommend Brooke! Thoughtful, Kind, and Talented Hair and Makeup Artist

I recently got married at Rust Manor House in Leesburg, VA, and I’m so grateful that Brooke could be part of my big day. Brooke is such a thoughtful and talented hair and makeup artist! She helped me feel so confident and beautiful, and really took into consideration the inspiration pictures I shared and what we talked through at the trial. I’m so impressed with how she complemented my Southeast Asian features and really brought the final look together (a soft glam look with a half-up, half-down hairstyle!).

Not only is she amazing at what she does, Brooke is also creative, communicative, and very supportive. She brought an assistant to help with the professional hair and makeup services for myself, 6 bridesmaids, and 3 moms. Additionally, she was there bright and early so that each person could get their glam done. She truly was a key part of the day and helped us stay on schedule for couples portraits, wedding party pictures, and family portraits. I can’t say thank you enough!

To other brides, I’d highly recommend Brooke. She’s passionate (and incredibly gifted) at what she does. Thank you so much for making me feel like my best self on my wedding day!

Perfect natural glam

Brooke was lovely to work with. I did a trial for my bridal shower, and on the day of the wedding, gave Brooke the edits I wanted. She delivered exactly what I had envisioned! My father-in-law (who only says things if he means it) commented on how impressed he was with my makeup multiple times on my wedding day. If you are a minimal-makeup gal like me, or want a naturally-elevated look for your wedding, Brooke is a great fit! Easy to talk to and her pricing was the most affordable I've seen, while still delivering high-quality services. Thank you Brooke!!!

An Expert in Everything!

Brooke was absolutely amazing. After my trial, we were able to determine a better game plan for my wedding day which helped my look last all night! She serviced myself, two of my bridal party, and two moms and each one of us looked fantastic! We all had different looks, but they all turned out 10/10. The conversation and vibes were also great. Great Experience with Brooke!

I had the pleasure of working with Brooke on my wedding day, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. She was incredibly organized and efficient from start to finish, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.

My hair and makeup were flawless and lasted all day, even through the emotional moments and dancing! I also appreciated how quickly she worked without sacrificing quality, ensuring that everything was done on schedule. Brooke did seven hair and makeups in 5 hours!

If you are looking for a talented and dependable hair and makeup artist, I highly recommend Brooke. They made me feel like the best version of myself on my special day, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Dream Bridal Look

So glad I found Brooke to do my hair and makeup for my wedding this past November. Brooke managed to deal with my thick frizzy curly hair and created my dream bridal look. Brooke was the first person I found to actually not say why not just straighten your hair. I was able to show my natural curls with the style Brooke did with showing no frizz! Brooke and her partner did a great job with getting my large wedding party done on-time for pictures. Everyone loved their hairstyle and make up. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup. If you are having a northern VA or DC wedding, make sure to get Brooke for your hair and makeup!

Great hair and makeup

Brooke did an excellent job with my hair and makeup on my step-daughter's wedding day. She was on time (early even!) and was fun to work with. She was responsive to things that I wanted to do differently after my trial, understood what I was looking for and made good suggestions on how to get there. My hair stayed looking great through more than 12 hours of the day, and I got several compliments on it. Thank you, Brooke!!

Amazing Job!

Brooke truly exceeded our expectations for my wedding day! She created beautiful hair and makeup looks for me, my bridesmaids, and even my mom over our two-day celebration. Despite the varied styles for each ceremony, from a traditional Cambodian updo to a romantic Catholic half-up, Brooke effortlessly nailed each one. She was very professional, showed up on time, and ensured we all felt our best and stress-free throughout the morning. I loved my hair and makeup, and all of my ladies looked absolutely stunning. Brooke is a wonderful hair and makeup artist

Brooke did my hair and makeup trial for my wedding on 10/21/23 and did an amazing job. Unfortunately, due to an emergency, she was unable to do my final hair/makeup on my wedding day, but recommended Erika to take over on the day of (who did an absolutely wonderful job!). Both ladies were excellent, friendly, courteous and helped me have the most special day. I definitely recommend Brooke and her team's services for your wedding day.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Brooke was absolutely wonderful. So much better hair and makeup than I first was asking for. She did a gorgeous, romantic bun and natural look makeup but enhanced. She was so easy to talk to and asked questions along the way to make sure I got exactly what I imagined. I would recommend to anyone in the area and all my 7 bridesmaids loved her as well. She is fantastic!

A vision and dream come true!

Brooke took the time to talk to me about the different ideas I had on my wedding day look and really helped me in the decision making process. Brooke was able to make me look glam while also keeping my simplistic look. Through the process we had great communication regarding looks for me and the girls, as well as plans for the day of. I am extremely happy with the results!

Neve Felt More Beautiful!

Brooke made the morning of my wedding and getting ready completely worry free! Prior to the day she was easy and fast to communicate with and answered any and all questions I had. She helped plan the timing for the morning of the wedding and in doing so there was no rushing around and she had myself and all my girls ready in plenty of time.
The day of she arrived in a timely fashion, came prepared, and was extremely flexible. One thing that I also really enjoyed about Brooke was that she was very personable. She had conversations with myself and my girls which all made us feel very comfortable and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Brooke helped me feel my most beautiful on my wedding day, and I could not recommend her enough!!

Would highly recommend!

Brooke was so great to work with! She responded within minutes to my inquiry and was very communicative through the whole process. On my wedding day, she tackled my whole bridal team and came to our hotel extra early to make sure everyone was ready on time. From the mothers, to the bridesmaids, to my bridal hair and makeup - everyone was so happy with her work! Brooke is able to do any hair style and do it quickly. She made my wedding day stress-free and made all of us feel beautiful!

Beautiful looks from a creative artist!

Brooke was great to work with, and was super flexible! She was super friendly, and helped me pick the perfect look for my wedding day. Unfortunately, the day ended up being much warmed than expected, so my hair did not cooperate, but luckily the style we picked was so versatile that my bridesmaids just pinned it back for me after we took pictures. I had a great trial session with Brooke, and was very happy with how my hair and makeup turned out on my wedding day. My bridesmaids looked amazing, too! We were all impressed with how quickly and efficiently Brooke was able to do our hair and makeup, all on her own. Would definitely book another event with Brooke in the future!

We don't have any regrets in getting Brooke as the one who fixed my hair (bride) and 3 of my bridesmaids. She did a great job during my trial and during my wedding day. My make up and hair stayed long enough then expected. Everyone compliments my make up when they saw our pictures and of course during our wedding day. You can easily communicate with her. I will recommend her to everyone I know.

Brooke was great! She did all of the make-up and hair for me and my wedding party (there were 7 bridesmaids in total). We met beforehand to try styles out and she was very helpful in planning things out. The day of the wedding she was super effective in making sure everyone's make-up and hair was done with plenty of time to spare. Someone changed their mind and wanted their make-up done last minute, and Brooke was super accommodating and flexible about it. Overall Brooke does a great job and is super professional!

Brooke and her associate did hair and make-up for me (the bride), all of my bridesmaids, flower girl, Mom and 2 friends. A total of 11 people for hair and 9 for make-up! On top of having a large bridal party, my family is a circus! People were in and out of the room while we were getting ready. A lot going on! To paint a picture for you...think my Big Fat Greek Wedding. We had to be ready by 4pm and Brooke had everyone done by 2:45PM. Leaving plenty of time for pictures and champagne drinking :) Brooke was so easy to work with. She was very flexible and accommodating. I really enjoyed having her there to help me and my family/friends get ready for one of the most memorable days of my life. It felt like she was part of the wedding party. I will definitely go to her for any other future events I have. Thanks Brooke!

Brooke did hair and make-up for myself, 5 bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and hair for the flower girl. She did an amazing job! Last minute my bridesmaids decided they also wanted their make-up done and she was quickly able to accommodate them and brought in an extra person to help with up-dos. She is very reasonably priced and quickly responds to email, highly recommend!

Brooke and her assistant Jayme did a GORGEOUS job on my wedding day hair/makeup, makeup for three bridesmaids, and hair for six bridesmaids. I couldn't believe how quickly they worked - Brooke showed up at 8:30 and Jayme around 10:00, and we were finished around 12:30 (well before the time I wanted everyone ready by) - quick work for a total of 7 people! Excellent prices too - she was much more reasonable than other hair/makeup vendors in the area. I didn't feel "nickel and dimed" with extra fees for traveling onsite, wedding being a holiday weekend, extra $$ for eyelashes, etc - Brooke has a flat, straightforward pricing structure. Hair looked perfect even after getting caught in a light rain, and makeup lasted till the afterparty shut down despite hours of dancing and a few too many drinks :) I also appreciate how quickly she replies to emails and questions - usually within only a few minutes! Great job overall - would definitely recommend them!

Brooke did my makeup and the makeup of my 11 bridesmaids, 3 Mothers, and 2 flower girls for my wedding in May. She did an absolute amazing job! She was responsive and flexible through the whole planning process which was very important since I was planning my wedding from another country. My makeup looked perfect for my wedding, exactly the way I had imagined. We had a tight schedule given I had an early ceremony and even with my large wedding party she made sure everyone was happy with their makeup and finished ahead of schedule! I highly recommend her services!

This is my completely honest (but belated) opinion-- Brooke was awesome! She provided AMAZING hair/makeup for me and my sister on my wedding (7/11). She was extremely friendly and professional, and most importantly I never felt like she was trying to swindle me or take advantage. She was also very flexible with coming to my location in Old Town Manassas, especially since a few of my bridesmaids decided they didn't need hair/makeup at the last minute. She was very reasonably priced and I really liked how she didn't have a minimum number of people she would provide hair/makeup for.

I would definitely go to her for an event in the future!

Brooke did my hair and makeup for my wedding, along with the hair and/or makeup of 6 other family members and wedding party members. She was very responsive and flexible from the beginning, so working out the details of the event was stress free. She is very reasonably priced, and will travel to your venue for free if it is relatively close to her. Even if it's a little farther it's just a small additional fee which is no big deal. Also, she allowed me to skip my trial because I didn't have time to go out to Virginia to have it done. That was particularly great, because most other hair and makeup artists required that I do a trial which was expensive and not something I had the time for. Even though Brooke didn't do a trial for me, she still made me look great and she even finished early which is amazing given that she had so many people to do in a short amount of time! I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone who is responsive, professional, nice, and talented! And quick too!

Brooke did an excellent job of providing professional make up for myself (bride) and matron of honor. She also did a great job on wedding hair styles for myself, my daughter and aunt. We all looked fabulous for the wedding. I highly recommend her services on your special day. She was a calming force in the middle of chaos.

Brooke was fantastic! When we did my trial, I was very specific that I didn't want my makeup to be darker than the rest of me (which is a problem I've had before when getting my makeup professionally done). My makeup was PERFECT. It lasted all day and made me look flawless. I can't recommend Brooke enough. She arrived on time and finished with time to spare, which is always nice on such a busy day. She was just amazing. :)

Brooke is a wonderful hair and makeup artist. I went to her house for the trial, and she was willing to try several different styles as well as listened to what I wanted my "look" to be. She was able to perfectly transform my ideas and make me feel so beautiful at the trial as well as on my wedding day--where she came to the venue to do makeup/hair which was an added bonus! I had a flareup of acne before my wedding and she masterfully covered it and made all my insecurities go away. I can't say enough about what an awesome job she does. On top of that, she is a wonderful person and I had fun chatting with her during the trial as well as on my wedding day. Definitely recommend her services for hair and for makeup for anyone! She also did hair for my maid of honor, who loved the style, as well as makeup for my sister in law, who was also pleased with the look! Thanks Brooke!

Brooke is incredible! She offered a trial hair & makeup session and listened to my needs/concerns and delivered wonderfully. She arrived bright and early to do my hair and makeup for my morning wedding, which was a HUGE relief to me. My hair and makeup even stayed in tact from 7am-midnight!

Brooke is amazing!! She did my make-up 3 years ago for my best friend’s wedding I was in. So when it became my turn to tie the knot I already knew I wanted Brooke to do my makeup for my big day, and I was so excited she was available for my day.

She is such an awesome person and does such a fanatically beautiful job. Brooke came to my hotel the morning of my wedding and did myself, mother, mother-in-law and some of by bridesmaids. She is the makeup artist you want for your day, not only does she do gorgeous work but she is a calming factor. It is nice to just be able to sit and relax (as much as possible on your Big Day) and get your makeup done, you know you are in good hands when you have Brooke there as a part of your team to get your ready.

I HIGHLY recommend Brooke to any bride, bridesmaid or just for a special event..

Brooke was great to work with and very nice. She traveled to my hotel the morning of my wedding day and did my makeup and also my moms and bridemaids. We were all very happy with the look she gave us. She was quick and applied perfect makeup which lasted all night. I would recommend her to anybody!

Brooke is a fantastic make up artist. She did exactly what I had in mind for my wedding and she did it flawlessly. Without her I would not have felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. Brooke did an amazing job on my makeup as well as my 6 bridesmaids. When we arrived at the venue Brooke was already there, set up, and ready to start on the girls. We had a last minute add as well as my mom wanting eye lashes put on and Brooke was very flexible and accommodative to the changes. Everyone looked great and our makeup was flawless all night.

Brooke did my 6 bridesmaids and my makeup for my wedding and was amazing!

I want to first start off by saying that Brooke was extremely responsive and helpful. As soon as we did the trial I knew Brooke was awesome. I brought my husband (then fiance) and the look on his face after she finished the makeup confirmed the choice.

The day of the wedding Brooke was early and ready to go! All of my girls LOVED Brooke and were so happy with her work. My makeup was amazing the day of the wedding. It was exactly what we had tried before -- but it looked even better. It was a hot and rainy day on my wedding day AND my sister's air conditioning broke in her house as we were getting ready (nice right?) but the makeup stayed on and stayed beautiful through it all. The makeup even made it through ALL night! We got our pictures back and the makeup looked amazing- even the last picture of the evening! We loved Brooke and would highly recommend her.

Brooke did a great job at my wedding. I had particular concerns that as a 'mature bride' I wanted to look good, but not overdone. Brooke listened to everything I had to say, made suggestions and was calm and professional on the day. I enjoyed the practice session too! Brooke is amazing. She's quick to respond to emails and was super easy to work with. I had my trial with her and loved the results, and quickly booked her for our wedding. She did my makeup, six bridesmaids, and both moms in a very short amount of time, but waited around an additional two hours for me to get done with my hair (without a single complaint!). My girls absolutely loved their makeup, and couldn't stop talking about how great Brooke was. She is so sweet and easy-going, and her makeup skills are fantastic. I got married in June and Brooke did my makeup, as well as my sister in law, my mom’s and my sister ....Brooke is AMAZING!!!! I never felt so beautiful..and my makeup lasted all night, with the look that I always wanted for my special day....My skin was glowing..she did a beautiful look with apricot and bronze colors..I loved it. She used false eyelashes with smoky eyes..I just looked awesome. My mother loved her makeup too! As well as my sister and sister in law, they were gorgeous ! She will bring out the best features of you and make you look so stunning. Anyone, who sees you that day, will be talking about how pretty your makeup is. She is very professional. I was very happy with the service provided by Makeup by Brooke. Brooke was very helpful all along, and was prompt when I emailed her with questions. She came onsite the morning of my wedding and did my makeup, along with a few girls from my wedding party. Everyone was happy, and she did a great job. She handled us all well, gave suggestions that we appreciated without being overbearing, and finished well within the time frame provided. She provided me with a tube of lipgloss that I used for the rest of the evening as well! Great job overall!

Brooke was fabulous! Even though it was a bit of a haul to get from DC to Gainesville for the initial trial, I loved the look Brooke created and knew I wanted to work with her. She came all the way to DC to do wedding day make-up for my entire bridal party, the mother of the groom, and myself. Everyone loved their make-up. There was not one complaint or adjustment after she left (which I think is rare). The girls looked gorgeous and I felt I looked very natural, but kicked up a notch - it was exactly what I wanted and it lasted all day and night. She worked quickly and was very sweet. I was extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Brooke.

Brooke was professional, on time and did an amazing job! She came on time and prepared to our venue and made me feel at ease and took away my butterflies. When she showed up, she was calming and relaxing. The make up was flawless and lasted ALL DAY INTO THE EVENING! I didn't want to take it off after my wedding and when I got to the hotel with my husband, I wanted to keep it on for the next day. Everyone told me how amazing my makeup was, and how I almost didn't look like myself. I loved the application and how I forgot I had anything on my face, including my eyelashes. Brooke was just awesome! I was very concerned about finding the best makeup artist I could because I wanted to look my best on my wedding day (obviously). I called Brooke and arranged a trial run and I was so pleased with the results, I had to go with her! Then the wedding day came and I don't know how she did it, but my makeup looked better than the trial run! My bridesmaids (that weren't going to get their makeup professionally done) decided to get their makeup done by Brooke last minute, after they saw how great her work was! So originally I had thought that I didn't need anyone to do my makeup but after meeting with my photographer and some others it was made clear to me that I had better find someone - and I only had a week left til my wedding!! Thank goodness Brooke is so flexible. She was able to fit me in and did an AMAZING job! I am a crier so I knew that the waterworks would start once the ceremony began. My makeup stayed gorgeous ALL NIGHT LONG - even after all the happy tears (and there were a lot). I don't normally wear much makeup and Brooke matched everything up perfectly - it was me, only a more improved version of myself. I also didn't feel like I was wearing a mask over my face which is how I normally feel when someone else does my makeup. It looked natural and beautiful. I booked Brooke for my October 2010 wedding, and I am so glad I did! I am pretty good at own doing my make-up and little picky about it actually, but Brooke did an amazing job (much better than I could have done...especially with all of the nerves and excitement on my wedding day!) In addition to myself, she did my mom, MOH and two bridesmaids. We all looked so glamorous and beautiful and received tons of compliments. I am absolutely thrilled with my experience with Makeup by Brooke. I think Brooke's greatest talent is assessing her clients' style and customizing the makeup to fit the client not herself. The test run was wonderful and gave me confidence that my wedding day makeup would look beautiful. On my wedding day, Brooke arrived earlier than scheduled and was completely professional. I prefer a more natural style and Brooke made me look elegant without my makeup being over the top.

Brooke's make-up artistry was amazing! The make-up she provided lasted me from 9am in the morning to 12 midnight. I had to only reapply my lipstick, but that too was provided by Brooke. Overall, she was nice to all my friends and family and confident in her work. Brooke was AMAZING! Never in my life have I felt as beautiful and glamourous as I did on my wedding day- which is exactly how every bride SHOULD feel! I'm not one to wear a ton of make up on a daily basis, so I didn't want to overdo it on my big day. Brooke listened to exactly what I wanted and during the trial even tried out a couple of different looks without batting an eye. She was extremely accomodating and professional and so easy to get along with.

Brooke applied make up for a few of my bridesmaids as well- they were also beautiful! Our make up lasted all day- the only touch ups I needed were my lips, and Brooke provided me with some lip color to keep! It's my new favorite :) The lashes were great- I even fell asleep with them still on and everyone at breakfast the next morning was so impressed with my luscious lashes! I booked Brooke for my June 2010 wedding. We did a trial before our engagement photo shoot, and I was able to see how well her make up translated in photos. Plus, it lasted all day long on our shoot around Georgetown. She is extremely professional, and listened to my specific requests. I wanted to use a mineral foundation, and she accommodated my request without a blink of an a eye! On my wedding day, Brooke was extremely relaxed and even provided me with a MAC lip gloss for touch-ups between photos, the ceremony, and the reception. I would absolutely recommend Brooke's services to anyone looking for a talented makeup artist for their wedding. She is outstanding!

Brooke is awesome and I highly recommend her! Not only is she a talented makeup artist, she's very easy to work with and is a super nice person! Brooke did my makeup as well as three others in the wedding party. We got our makeup done around noon for a 5pm wedding with the reception following. I was concerned that my makeup wasn't going to last all day/night but Brooke assured me that it would and she didn't let me down! After dancing the night away on a hot May day, my makeup still looked great right up to the end of the night! I didn't even have to touch it up once!! I received compliments all day about my makeup. She made me look simply beautiful!

Another plus is that Brooke uses MAC cosmetics. I had heard great things about MAC but had never used it. I am definitely a fan now! Quality products!! Brooke also provided me with MAC lipstick & gloss for touch ups later.

I found Brooke a little over a month before my wedding after experiencing some problems with another makeup artist and boy am I glad I found her! Brooke is not only talented, but she has a calming presence that is very important on the wedding day. My bridesmaids absolutely loved their makeup. My makeup lasted throughout the evening and the pictures turned out fantastic. If you are still interviewing/shopping for a makeup artist..stop now and go with Brooke! Brooke was amazing and made everyone look naturally beautiful for my wedding. My bridesmaids who don't wear makeup were shocked at how natural it was and how amazing they looking without feeling as if they had tons of layers of caked on makeup on their faces. My makeup lasted all day. From eating lunch and dinner to crying during the ceremony and dancing the night away.

She made everyone comfortable and interacted well with everyone present. For being one of the most stressful days of my life so far, Brooke made a point to make sure she had a calming effect on everyone present getting ready! She's amazing!!

Brooke was my makeup artist for my wedding that was on Oct. 10, 2008. I was referred to her by my mother who knows her aunt. I thank my lucky stars that I got a hold of her business card because she does a fantastic job. My first meeting with Brooke was great. We conducted my makeup trials, and I immediately felt comforted that I had the best around! She was professional, and welcoming at the same time. She is very organized, wrote everything down-to the product, the shade, and how it was applied. I also liked that she used a popular brand of makeup-MAC. The day of my wedding she was, of course, on time. At the end of my makeup application, she informed me she had a sick child at home. I could'nt believe that she still came to ensure my makeup was flawless for my wedding. That's what makes me give Brooke high recommendations! Brooke is truly a pleasure to work with!!!! LOVED Brooke, recommend her to anyone that asks. For my "practice run", she came to my house the evening of my bachelorette party, and did a great job. My husband even commented on how much he liked my makeup, and he can be hard to please! :) The day of my wedding she was punctual, and very professional. She took the stress out of getting ready, and I can't say enough how happy I was. I got a ton of compliments on my makeup, and so did my bridesmaids who had their makeup done by Brooke, too. She is a definite 10+!!!!

Brooke did not actually do my makeup. Her sister Shannon did both my trial and my wedding day makeup and she did an excellent job. She and Brooke arrived at the church with plenty of time to get all of us done. I got so many compliments on how I looked. She takes her time and decides what looks natural. She also listens to what you want and can make adjustments easily. I would recommend her or her sister or both to anyone. She can make you look your best!!

Brooke Williams of Makeup By Brooke was absolutely wonderful! She did the makeup for the bride and myself, the maid-of-honor. Her easygoing nature really helped to relax the nervous mood and she made us feel really comfortable during the whole process. She was very flexible in regards to our space - she was able to do the makeup application beautifully without the benefit of a proper vanity area or appropriate lighting. I've never seen my sister-in-law look so gorgeous! Her pictures came out superbly! The pricing was very reasonable and Brooke flowed with our schedule perfectly. I recommend her services to anyone getting married or even going out for a special occasion. She is fantastic!!

Brooke Colton is such a sweetheart and is very personable. After I had gone for a trial, I had second thoughts about the eyeshadow and was able to schedule a 2nd trial without a problem. She was able to come to my location of choice for both trials. I would highly recommend Makeup by Brooke without hesitation. My day-of-coordinator was also impressed with Brooke's work and started recommending her to some of her brides as well!

I would highly recommend Brooke for any wedding or event! She was very professional, and knew what colors would look great on me for my wedding day. Brooke took her time and did a beautiful job-I literally did not retouch my makeup once on the day of my wedding! I felt confident all day that I looked my best. :) I would highly recommend Brooke.

Brooke was amazing. My makeup held up beautifully. She managed the perfect balance of natural and glamarous and the make up looked equally good on film and in person. She made the most wonderful suggestions - I still use the lipstick she recommended!

She is also so amazingly sweet and professional. She put my mom, who was nervous about having her make up done for the first time in her life, at total ease. She and her sister were also able to accomodate myself, my mother, four bridesmaids, and two aunts in a few hours.

I would highly recommend Brooke.

Brooke did a wonderful job on the make up of my entire wedding party! she made me look like a radiant bride! I was very happy with her calm attude while I was so stressed. She helped keep things on an even keel. I would recomend Brooke to anyone looking for a stress free wedding day.

Brooke was wonderful to work with! I met her at my make-up trial and I was easy to work with and listened to what I wanted, not to mention she is very talented. On the wedding day, she did my make-up, as well as some of the bridesmaids and everyone was more than pleased! She is not only talented, but also a very sweet person to have around on your wedding day.

Brooke and her assistant who helped with hair were very efficient and worked super quickly the day of my wedding. I had 7 attendants who needed some sort of hair or makeup (or both). Brooke is also very reasonably priced and did not charge extra for traveling or eyelashes like most vendors. She did a great job on curling my extensions for the day which were a somewhat last minute add. That part of the day is somewhat of a blur but I know that everyone looked beautiful and was happy with their look that day.

Brooke did all the hair and makeup for myself, 3 bridesmaids and 2 flowergirls, and we all looked beautiful. We had a vintage theme and the bridesmaids' faux bobs really turned out perfect!! She was great at maximizing time to ensure we all got out the door on schedule and her pricing is fair. I would recommend her for sure..

Brooke was fantastic! She arranged for a trial at her home, where I decided I would use her services. She was prompt and cheerful on my wedding day, and even fit in additional bridesmaids who decided to have their makeup done at the last minute. I appreciated that she let me keep the MAC lipgloss. The fake eyelashes were expertly applied, and didn't make me look like a drag queen at all. I received many compliments on my makeup, and I felt beautiful.

I sent her a check for the services before the wedding per the contract we agreed upon earlier in the month. It was nice to have something in writing; not all vendors use contracts, FYI.

Brooke did beautiful work for me and my entire bridal party. I met with her to do my consultation and I was very happy with her work. I did change my mind about my makeup, and Brooke was very accomodating and made all the changes. My makeup turned out beautiful! My bridesmaids were also very happy with how their makeup turned out. Brooke traveled to my venue, which made things a lot less stressful. She was able to do my makeup about an hour before the cermony, and it looked flawless the whole night. I was very happy with my experience with Brooke!

Brooke was responsive to my phone calls and e-mails from the very beginning, which is a big plus. She patiently worked with me to pick out make-up and a style to suit my needs and taste. She was attentive and did a great job putting on my make-up. She also accommodated my mother and put on her make-up as well with a day's notice. The photos turned out very well. Thank you, Brooke!

Brooke was great! She was sweet and fit right in with our bridal party when she was doing our makeup. According to everyone, she made me look like "the most beautiful bride ever seen" :) I was very happy with the way I looked in all of the pictures. My mother's eyelashes fell out but she cried for an entire day so that definitely wasn't Brooke's fault! My sister, my mom, and my godmother looked absolutely fabulous. I rated a 4 out of 5 on cost ONLY because "getting makeup done" is expensive, but Brooke was reasonable for the quality of her service compared to other vendors in the area. She's right, my makeup lasted even with all the dancing and sweating in DC in August! Oh did I mention she gives you a free lipgloss for touch ups?? Great, I know!

She's great! You will look gorgeous if you choose Brooke! :)

Brooke and her sister did an amazing job on my makeup, and all the makeup for my wedding party! They didn't rush to get everyone done, and they paid attention to all the details. We received so many compliments on how beautiful everyone looked. My sister-in-law ended up using Brooke at her wedding a few months later, because she was so great.

I had been looking around for someone to do my makeup for months, but didn't find anyone whose portfolio really impressed me. The next thing I knew, I had a month before the wedding. Not only did Brooke email and call me back the same day I requested information, but she immediately set up a run-through.The day of, she was completely professional and poised despite the chaos in the hotel room (and my bridesmaids not being ready). She listens to your feedback and really strives to make sure you look your best. I have not doubt that she'll do an excellent job for your wedding.

Brooke did a very nice job - the makeup looked great on both myself and my bridesmaids, and it really lasted despite a very hot day. She was professional and good to work with, I would recommend her services to other brides.

Brooke did my hair and makeup for our wedding. Her pricing was reasonable. We did a trial beforehand which was helpful. I really liked my makeup that Brooke did. My hair came out nice as well. She used different brands of makeup products. I prefer products that contain more natural ingredients so I had her use some of my own makeup products as well (she did have some Tarte brand makeup products which was nice). My one issue which is why I gave a lower score for professionalism, is a comment that was made to me by Brooke. Even if in joking form (unclear if it was a joke or not) it was not appropriate to say to a client especially on the day of her wedding. When doing my hair we were working on different styles for the front of my hair. I was nervous and wasn't sure what looked best. My friends and Brooke were helping me. At one point Brooke became frustrated and noted to me that I may need to go to a self esteem class. It hurt my feelings. I didn't need to be thinking of that on the day of my wedding.

My makeup was lovely, the price was slightly higher than I would have wanted to pay but it was average. My bridesmaid and I were very happy with the way out makeup looked. My mother was unhappy but she was unhappy about everything that day so I don't think that it was Brooke's Fault.

Brooke 'forgot' about my wedding! We had spoken a few weeks prior to my wedding date about the time she would arrive and the final number of girls who would be getting their make-up done, so I assumed everything would be fine. Then my wedding day rolls around and she is 30 minutes late... meanwhile I'm getting my hair done. So I had to have my maid of honor find her phone number on my computer and call her. She said she would be there in 30 minutes (making her one hour late). 30 Minutes later she isn't there, so my maid of honor calls her again, she says she will be there soon. She ended up being 2 hours late! Fortunately, she brought her sister to help her do all my girls' make-up... but then they didn't have enough fake lashes, so she had to leave and go get more... After all this, I was 30 minutes late to my ceremony location. I had to leave before all my girls were done with their make-up just to get there before the ceremony was scheduled to start.

Despite all of that, Brooke did a wonderful job on my and my girls' make-up. My make-up stayed on the entire evening without a hint of shine! It was exactly what I wanted. If you choose her, just give a reminder call the morning of your wedding day!

Brooke, was a good fit in the beginning, I thought everything would go off without a hitch. We had set up two different trial times and neither of them happened. The professionalism was nill. The final straw after trying to reconcile our plans for the wedding ended in a short but blunt email stating "I think you should find someone else" 12 days before my wedding!

Brides beware, have lots of time and lots of flexibility if you go for this one!
