Amazing amazing amazing! Shab recently did my bridal makeup for my wedding day and I couldn’t have been more impressed! I was nervous at my trial as I hadn’t had my makeup done professionally before but with such a friendly professional personality I knew I was in the right hands and she made me feel at ease straight away. From the moment she showed me my trial makeup and it was perfect, I knew I had chosen the right person. Wonderful, talented, and fair priced
Shab was absolutely wonderful, professional and easy to work with. I had a trial session where we worked on my palette of colors. She was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of tips on how to prepare my face for the big day. Whenever I had a question she was quick to reply.
She was on time and her prices were very fair.

I cannot say enough about the incredible makeup services we received for our wedding day. From the bride to the maid of honor, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and grandmother, every single one of us looked and felt absolutely stunning.
Shab and Wendy were absolutely amazing! Their artistry was flawless—soft, natural, and light while still enhancing everyone’s features in the most beautiful way. The bride was radiant, the maid of honor and bridesmaids looked elegant and cohesive without being overdone, and both the mother and grandmother looked so naturally beautiful and confident. Each look was perfectly tailored to the person wearing it.
Not only did the makeup photograph beautifully, but it also lasted all day and night—through happy tears, laughter, dancing, and everything in between.
On top of that, the experience itself was wonderful. Shab and Wendy were professional, warm, and calming, making the morning feel stress-free and enjoyable. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and cared for.

Amazing trial and lesson!
I had a fantastic experience with my wedding makeup trial! The makeup was absolutely perfect, exactly what I envisioned. The artist not only did a flawless job but also made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain each step and even gave me a great lesson on how to replicate the look on my own. Makeup for 2 occasions
Shab is excellent at what she does and is very reasonable.
She listens, she's sweet and very gentle. I only had to tell her what I wanted and she executed both looks. A soft glam for my vow renewal and a more dramatic look the day of the party. I had some ugly pimples on my face and she made me look flawless. All the compliments I got was because of Shab!!

Top notch!
Shab came recommended to me. I did a few makeup trials with other MUAs and left those feeling overly made-up and cakey, but with Shab, I felt like I was enhanced and not wearing makeup (which is what I wanted)! We had a 5am hair & makeup start time due to having an early ceremony time, and her and her partner were very prompt! I cried a lot and danced a lot, and the makeup stayed put. As a cherry on top, she was very affordable.

I am so happy with Shab, She was very reasonable more so than any of the other makeup artists I contacted. She did not charge for any extras, like the others did. She was professional and on time. I cannot say enough great things about Shab and her team. Shab is the calm voice of reason that every bride needs on their wedding day. Her calm demeanor is everything I needed to talk me through my makeup the morning of, because I was still unsure of how I wanted to wear it. We nailed down what I wanted to do and she started. I would definitely recommend, I am the furthest away from knowing anything about hair or makeup and on my wedding day I couldn't have felt any more comfortable with the way I looked. The Look you want.
Shab did my makeup for a wedding I was in. I was a bridesmaid, then I booked her to do my makeup for my own wedding, then one of my bridesmaids booked her for her wedding as well. Shab was a pleasure to work with; She knew exactly what I wanted and needed. I'm a very picky and hard to please customer and she's the only make-up artist I've worked with that really got everything right! I look forward to getting more make-up done by Shab. She was with me from 8am-12pm and during those hours she made sure I was absolutely perfect. As well as the others in my group. I have paid DOUBLE and the work was not even close to hers.

Shab was absolutely amazing the day of my wedding. She was really great at planning and she knew exactly how much time she and her team of artists and hair dressers would need to get everyone ready on time. I am so thankful that I had Shab on my big day. She arrived early at my hotel and set up in our room and immediately got going. We used pinterest to show her and her assistant what we wanted and it was amazing. Everyone looked so beautiful. Who doesn't want to drink champagne, lounging in a robe with their best friends listening to cool music while you get pampered!? Everything was just perfect.

I couldn't be happier with her service. Shab and her assistants arrived promptly at our venue and made up 12 women including me in a 4 hour period. Everyone looked absolutely stunning. Shab was so sweet and is amazing at what she does!! If I could rate her with more stars I would. I got so many compliments and even had guests asking for her number. I tried explaining my vision of how I wanted my makeup to look and she definitely did it; if not BETTER! Also, my mother is not used to wearing makeup and was worried that because of her age she wouldn't look good with makeup but she looked beautiful! The makeup lasted all night and the lashes she chose for me were perfect. I strongly recommend Shab and look forward to working with her again. She definitely made me feel beautiful on my wedding day!

Words cannot express how happy I was to find Shab. Very passionate people do amazing things. And you can tell she loves her work. I am extremely picky & critical of both my hair/makeup. Basically I'm a bit nutty. It has to be perfect. Shab did my wedding day makeup and it stayed with me all night. Her crew and her did hair & makeup and many touchups during our session. Shab is truly one of a kind!! We used her services for the trial and our wedding and we could not be happier! From our first get together, I felt so comfortable with her and she was so easy to work with. She brought us music champagne and we had a great time, what a relief. She took the time to listen to what you want and really helped refine the look to something that works for you. I never felt like there was a rush to get everyone done in the set amount of time that we had.

I had Shab and Justina do hair and makeup for my wedding at the fox hollow. They were very talented, tasteful, and detail oriented. They listened to each of the members of my bridal party to give them a look that represented their individual styles. I met Shab back in 2015, and thats when I married my wife. we were both looking for a makeup artist that will make us look very natural, and we can feel like our true authentic selves. we did not want a transformation, just wanted to look put together and bridal. just based on her reputation and referrals through friends and family, we decided that we didn't even want a trial. we wholeheartedly trusted her and let her do her magic :)

I hired Shab to do my make up for my wedding on New Years Eve 2023! She was absolutely incredible! I was completely in love with how my make up looked both in person and in photos and it even looked gorgeous at the end of a long night of dancing, photos, temperature changes, sweating, and crying! Her services were reasonably priced, and she worked with me to meet my specific needs. She and her team did my make up as well as my mother's, mother-in-law's, and 4 bridesmaids.

Amazing Makeup artist
So I found Shab through this website and there's a reason why she has stellar reviews. First off, I had to do research for the right make up artist for my wedding day, but the challenge was I live in Los Angeles and I was not planning on doing a hair and makeup trial due to time restraints, so there's quite a bit of trust in the makeup artist and hairdresser. I messaged Shab and she was responsive and I can tell through her messages that she was going to be warm and kind. Shab works with a hairdresser and so that was helpful that I didn't have to find one. I had my wedding at Water's Edge in Centerport and the event coordinator was so extra and requested for Shab's certificate of insurance because they normally don't let the makeup artist and hairdresser prep the brides in the bridal suites due to damages in the past. Thankfully, they made an exception for my wife and I just as long as there's a certificate of insurance. I felt weird asking Shab for her insurance, because it's none of my business, but the venue wanted it. Shab was so understanding and emailed it to the event coordinator without any hesitation. The day of the wedding, Shab did makeup for my mom and I, and we both felt so beautiful. Shab was so easy to talk to and she made the experience really easy and went with the flow, even when the photographer requested for certain poses. My makeup held up all throughout the night even after I was sweating from dancing. Justina the hairdresser that Shab works with did a fantastic job and I loved my hair as well. It's a great duo!! I would highly recommend hiring Shab to do your makeup on your special day.

Amazing work and wonderful person
Shab made the whole process so easy and less stress. I was getting some crazy high pricing and was so worried I was late on getting someone booked. Shab came in and eased all my worries, she was super easy to work with and ultra professional. She helped me find a hair stylist as well. I send inspo photos over, we discussed how i typically wear makeup and my vision. The trial was wonderful and on the day of we tweaked some of what we were going to do based off the trial and i loved it. Her team was wonderful and smooth to work with. She didn't have travel or booking fee's which i loved and my makeup lasted the entire night. My moh and sil who have been in a few weddings this year said this was the prettiest they have felt yet with their looks. will recommend and use in the future if i need professional makeup. 10/10

Shab did both me and my mom about a month ago, I have been so busy I just haven't had a chance to give a review. (sorry Shab). Anyway Shab is spot on with her work and gave me exactly what I wanted and needed to last the whole day. Her and her team arrived at 5AM and stayed with us until 11. I tied the knot at the 3 Village Inn in Stonybrook, New York on May 28, 2023. We reserved the venue a year early, which gave me ample time to search for hairstylists and makeup artists on Long Island. I stumbled upon Shab's profile on wedding wire and decided to contact her based on her glowing reviews. As expected, she lived up to her reputation!
We booked our trial makeup and hair appointment in October 2022, and I met Shab and Justina, the hairstylist. They both had incredible energy and are very talented. The trial session went smoothly, and they were always attentive throughout the year leading up to the wedding. On the big day, everything went off without a hitch, and I received many compliments on my hair and makeup. Even strangers at the afterparty in Port Jeff couldn't help but comment on my stunning hair! I highly recommend Shab and Justina for their amazing work on both hair and makeup. I'm so glad I took the chance on them!

Aside from Shab being the sweetest woman you’ll ever meet, she’s someone who has mastered her craft in beauty. My sister and I didn’t want our makeup to change our face. We wanted our makeup to enhance our natural features/natural beauty, and Shab did exactly that. Our makeup stayed all night long despite all the tears we shed!!!! I am the mother of the bride. Shab treated my daugther fantastic and made our whole day a pleasure. We asked for some extra touch-ups which she provided quickly and without and fuss.
She was easy to deal with, very quick with her makeup application and made us feel glamorous. The make-up stayed on all night and looked quite natural. I got many compliments which made me feel alot younger then I am !
What made it even better was that she was a lovely person inside and out and was so easy to talk to. The photographer commented that this wedding makeup was the best he had seen and he was our photographer and had never met Shab before. If you want a stress free experience please book her, you won't be disappointed.

The most helpful, amazing artist in the game!
Shab was the artist for my sister’s wedding on Monday, and there are not enough words to describe how amazing she is. Not only was she able to accommodate us in a time crunch, she was constantly in communication with us to the point where we felt like we were dealing with a friend and not a vendor! The bride’s makeup was stunning and lasted all day and night; she looked so beautiful. Shab also did my makeup and the mother of the bride and we received so many compliments. So how can I start? Shab is AMAZING! She is so sweet. If I could give Shab 10 stars that’s what she deserves. She did my makeup for my sons wedding & it was absolutely perfect.
I chose to do a trial with her just so we could meet & get a feel for what I was thinking instead of waiting till day of. I also wanted to feel her products to see if I would be comfortable & not be irritated. I felt natural the entire day.

I don’t like wearing makeup, but for my son’s wedding I thought i should try it out, so I did a trial makeup session with Shab. Shab took the time to listen to my concerns regarding lipstick and eyeshadow, acknowledging that I wanted a natural look. Day of wedding Shab had me looking amazing without looking overdone and more like myself. I highly recommend Shab. She’s fantastic!

Wonderful Experience
I booked Shab to do makeup just for my myself, after my trial which I loved I extended that to my family and my entire bridal party for my wedding day. She was wonderful right from the start. We had an early morning start and a lot of people to get through. Shab made everyone look beautiful. I couldn’t have been happier that I found Shab to do my wedding makeup! Shab is also lovely and was an absolute pleasure to have her the morning of my wedding!! We chatted like we were old friends. She will put you at ease. Even my demanding mom loved her. I wasn't nervous at all, Shab is really a people person and will make this a wonderful experience for you. She is such an amazing makeup artist, she is truly a professional! Shab: The BEST Make Up Artist!!
After searching for the perfect make up artist that would give me a natural, but enhanced look for my wedding day, I was recommended to call Shab. She is the only make up artist I found that used make up to enhance all of my features, not make me look like someone else. My make up was natural, light, and lasted throughout the day without ever having to touch up throughout pictures or the evening of my wedding. Not only was my make up stunning, Shab is one of the kindest people to work with. She is responsive, listens to what you want, gives her professional opinion, has many options and does not push products or treatments on you leading up to your big day. I am very picky about how my make up looks and feels on my face, and Shab exceeded my expectations. I wish I could have Shab do my make up for every event!!

What a Great wedding day !
After a bad makeup trial with someone else, by supposedly a top makeup artist in Long Island. I had almost given up having my makeup done. My photographer, strongly recommended Shab and after many attempts at convincing me I finally gave her a call,and I am so glad I gave her a try. Shab’s makeup is flawless, she is a natural at putting everyone around her at ease, she's fun, personable, brings music and has a great crew of people and best of all she listens to her clients. Shab asked lots of questions before and during the trial to ensure my look came out the way I wanted. I loved the way I looked and felt after both the trial and the wedding. The morning of the wedding we all felt relaxed ! Thank You so much Shab you made my day so happy. I would highly recommend Shab as your makeup artist!

Shab has been on quite the ride with me since I booked her in 2020! She was super flexible and rode the wave with me when things inevitably changed with my wedding due to COVID. When my reception finally happened, it was like no time passed at all. Shab did a beautiful natural look for me with a bold lip, since I was a winter bride. She made me feel absolutely beautiful. Shab is the Best!
Shab was fantastic. She worked with me to fit my busy wedding day schedule and was accommodating to all of my needs. She listened to what I wanted and never tried to make me look like something I wasn’t. I was hesitant about hiring a makeup artist until I decided I’d rather not stress out about it that day. I am SO glad I did. Shab did my makeup and my two teen daughters – they looked age-appropriate and exactly like themselves. After a formal ceremony at 11 am and then a rockin’ after-party, I got back to our bridal suite at 1 am (17 hours after application) and saw that not only did I still look fresh and my makeup still in place, my super sensitive skin never reacted to Shab’s makeup. Amazing!

Shab did makeup for my mother, sisters and I for my wedding. She was easy to deal with, very fast with the applications and made us all feel chic and glamorous. The make-up stayed on all night and looked quite natural. What made it even better was that she was a lovely person inside and out and was so easy to talk to. The photographer even commented that the makeup was the best he had seen. I received so many compliments on the night and she overall made my wedding experience stress-free with makeup that lasted throughout the night with no touch-ups required.
