Monique is awesome!!

I highly recommend working with Monique! She is truly an expert and very professional. For my wedding day, she did the makeup for myself, several bridesmaids, and the moms. She pays close attention to details, and is thorough but timely! She had everything thought out and prepped, which helped the day go so smoothly. Amazing Wedding Makeup Artist

Monique did mine and my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding on sept 8, 2024 and she did an amazing job at making us all look beautiful! She was very accommodating with last minute change of getting ready locations. I would highly recommend her for getting your makeup done !

Monique was so easy and amazing.

Monique was amazing! She saw 1 photo of what I wanted and was able to make do actually what I wanted. On the day of the wedding she was efficient and so easy to work with. She was able to work on all my bridesmaids and so what they wanted with such ease. She is truly talented and I was so happy to have her.

Beautiful makeup!

Monique did my makeup and my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding on 9/3/22 and I couldn’t have been happier! Everyone felt so beautiful and comfortable in their makeup. Some of my bridesmaids requested airbrush glam and some requested more natural. Monique did such an amazing job with different requests and really listened to what the girls wanted and made it that much better. I’m so happy I chose to work with Monique, she made me feel absolutely beautiful!

Monique did my bridal makeup as well as the makeup for some guests. She was extremely professional and her tools were clean. She listened to what everyone wanted and gave feedback as needed. never felt more beautiful

I know literally nothing about make-up but my best friend does and when she saw Monique's work she said "this is your girl" and so we booked! Boy was I in for a treat because from the moment I connected with Monique, I knew I had made the best choice. When I met up with her for my trial, the conversation was easy and comfortable and my gibberish of "pinky maroons" somehow made sense to her. She was organized, supportive, kind and caring. She made my entire bridal party feel so at ease and beautiful. When they would finish up each girl, I had tears in my eyes because all of my favorite people looked so stunning. I was so thrilled and honored to have Monique as part of our wedding day crew and if you want the best of the best, you'll book her too!

Incredible

Monique is an absolute vision! She provided makeup services for my sister's wedding in 2018, so I had no question about who I would book for my own! She worked with me with rescheduling our date during the pandemic and was flexible with our change of plans.

On the day of our wedding reception, she listened to what I wanted and created the best looks for me and my mom. She even gave me a little pouch with makeup so I can touch up for the rest of the night! Monique is thoughtful, considerate, and an incredible woman to work with. Don't hesitate to book her!

Simply Amazing!!

Monique was amazing! She was professional, accommodating and just simply a pleasure to work with. Given how difficult it was to plan things for my wedding during the Pandemic, working with Monique was the easiest and one of the most enjoyable parts of the wedding. She understood the look I wanted and delivered it exactly!! All of my bridesmaids were also so pleased with their looks. I wish I could have her do my makeup everyday, because she made me feel so amazing and confident on my special day!

Monique was by far one of my favorite wedding vendors. She is the sweetest human and such a professional! Talented and Kind= Dream Vendor!

The entire process of working with Monique was easy and stress free. I found her online and she was quick and easy to communicate with. I was able to do a trial where she made me feel beautiful and comfortable. Then COVID19 hit and I unfortunately had to postpone my big wedding, but did have a microwedding. Monique was completely understanding when postponing and that is such a KEY when choosing a vendor. I was able to get my new 2021 date and also schedule for me and my mom on my original wedding date. She made us feel special, beautiful and reminded me that although this wasn't the day I expected it is going to be perfect. I am so excited to be able to work with Monique again in 2021, and grateful she made me feel like a princess at my microwedding.

Beautiful work!

Monique was perfect for my wedding day. We gave her the hard task of a bride and 10 ladies to get ready in 5 hours. She brought a second make up artist to ensure we would all be on time. IN the end everyone looked BEAUTIFUL and we were done EARLY. Thats the way to keep a bride smiling. Not to mention she is so sweet and easy to talk to!

Hiring Monique was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! My makeup came out amazing and better than I even thought it could be. I was so happy with how my makeup turned out. The style of my makeup was exactly what I wanted. Monique was wonderful the entire morning. She was very attentive and made sure my makeup was exactly how I wanted it. She is incredibly talented. She took her time and did not rush at all. She made my day a lot less stressful. She was very prompt, organized, friendly and nice. She also did a fantastic job on. my sisters, my mom, and mother-in-law’s makeup. She really listened to what everyone wanted and everyone was incredibly happy with how their makeup came out. Our makeup lasted all day and all night! She was so relaxed the whole time! I would HIGHLY recommend her!!!!

Winter Wedding with Monique

Working with Monique for my February wedding was a dream come true! I have never had good experiences with getting my makeup done before, so I was very anxious at the idea of finding someone who would make me feel beautiful on my wedding day. After my trial with Monique, I knew she was the perfect person to fit this role! She listened very closely to what I was looking for, analyzing inspiration photos I had sent over and asking questions to make sure she got it just right. I was completely blown away by how talented she is! On my wedding day she had detailed notes from our trial to make sure she replicated exactly what I had loved so much. Not only did she make me look beautiful, but my entire bridal party as well, seamlessly moving between different skin types and requests. After a long day of taking photos outside, many happy tears, and lots of dancing, we all still looked great! I hope Monique and I have the opportunity to work together again soon, and I highly recommend her to future brides!

So lovely to work with!

This is such a late review, but I realize I cannot close this year without thanking Monique for making this year so special for me and my family. Monique did make up for me, my mom, and my sister. She was incredibly sweet, very patient with me and what I wanted, very accommodating with several changes we experienced right before my wedding day, and just a pleasure to work with. Considering I had never done makeup before, I was too particular on the day of my trial and was struggling to explain what a "natural" look meant to me. But I could not be happier on how I looked on my wedding day. It seemed like Monique could read my mind and she knew exactly what I wanted. Both my mom and my sister had asked Monique to do their makeup and they described her to be "incredible" and a "good listener." Considering neither of them had a trial, they showed Monique a few styles and they were so happy with the end result because she did exactly what they wanted. Both my family and I are incredibly happy we chose Monique and very thankful that Monique stuck around with us despite some scheduling challenges. We are so impressed with her work that my sister is already considering to book Monique for her own wedding. Woohoo! Monique is extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, very organized, and a wonderful person to work with. You will not be disappointed!

Flawless experience!

Finding a great makeup artist is hard, but finding a great makeup artist who is also kind, and super helpful is near impossible! But Monique exceeded all of my expectations! Monique is extremely professional and worked with me to help set a schedule to make sure that myself, my family and my (large) bridal party all looked perfect in a timely fashion! Flawless makeup by a kind, professional, makeup artist.

Monique was my makeup artist for myself, bridesmaids, and mom for my wedding. The word “artist” to describe Monique is an understatement. Monique was professional and efficient. She came to the venue early to make sure that she took her time with our makeup so it was flawless. My makeup lasted the entire day/night. I didn’t want to wash it off at the end of the night because it still looked great. Monique is responsive to any questions I had. She even did a trial run for me the day of my bridal shower to make sure I liked her work. I can’t wait to use Monique again for any future events. She is simply the best! Monique did an amazing job on the makeup for my wedding day (April 2018). She’s knowledgeable, professional, talented, and a really nice person. When I had an unexpected issue with my skin days before the wedding, and she did an incredible job, none one could even tell! Monique was even willing to make a small, last minute color change from our trial. I would absolutely recommend her and will use her other services in the future.

It was such a pleasure to work with Monique! From the moment I first contacted her until my wedding day she was super responsive and flexible. All the bridesmaids loved their makeup and I could not have been happier with how mine turned out! Monique is so easy to talk to and we enjoyed having her in the bridal suite with us while we got ready. When I had my makeup done at the trial there were one or two things I wanted changed and Monique was very accommodating and made sure my makeup was just what I wanted on my wedding day. Monique was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding in October 2017. I contacted her far in advance to schedule an initial trial which went so well! I originally planned to just do my makeup solo but added on my whole bridal party and mother as well; she was so accommodating about it and made sure we were meeting our schedule on the wedding day. I absolutely loved how I looked the day of the wedding as well everyone else and it stayed on all night! I highly recommend Monique, you won't be disappointed!

Monique was absolutely incredible and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a bridal makeup artist. Her kindness and overall sense of calm the day of the wedding was extremely welcome and helped maintain my sense of calm throughout. She also took any changes that came about in stride and was nothing but accommodating. As for her makeup skills, they are fabulous! She did a terrific job on all of the members of my bridal party and even convinced one of my sisters (who is a non-makeup wearer) to get her makeup done by Monique last-minute. Monique has been fantastic to work with from the time she did my makeup trial to my wedding day. She was very accommodating and traveled to where I was for both sessions. She also listened carefully to what I wanted and made it happen for me! I couldn't be more pleased. The timeline for getting ready on my wedding day was a little rushed so she also brought along another mua who was amazing as well. They coordinated together and were so friendly to all of my friends and family. I'd highly recommend Monique!!

Monique did such an amazing job! It was so wonderful working with her and she made everything so easy! My trial was amazing and she was able to do it before my bridal shower and then the day of the wedding she came to the venue and was just so efficient and all my girls loved her. I was so happy that I chose her to do my bridal makeup, I had originally had someone else in mind but then I was recommended to Monique and so glad I made the decision to switch. Seriously couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist and I will be using her in the future for events or if I just feel like having my makeup done. I will be recommending her to everyone I know! My makeup lasted all day through the heat and wind and summer weather and it still looked amazing at the end of the night! Of all my wedding vendors, hiring Monique was by far one of the absolute best decisions I ever made. Simply put, Monique is AMAZING! Her professionalism, organization, and level of skill is unmatched. Whereas I needed to be on top of and track down all of my other vendors, Monique not only responded promptly to any question I had, but always seemed to be ten steps ahead of me and pushing me along in my planning. She also has the patience of a saint and was extremely flexible as I dealt with many setbacks and stressors causing multiple changes in my plans over the months leading up to my wedding (e.g., a bridesmaid becoming pregnant and due my wedding week; in-laws becoming non-committal after originally saying "yes" and being included in the contract). If I was Monique, I would have lost my mind, but she handled everything I threw at her with such grace and understanding. It is clear that Monique is not only passionate about her work, but is a compassionate, wonderful person who is able to make you not only look-but feel- good. I was so happy to be in her hands on one of the most important days of my life.

I could not give Monique more praise and admiration for her skills with make-up. I first met Monique when I was a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and immediately fell in love with her work and booked her. I have extremely oily, combination skin, struggle with adult acne when stressed, and have very small/strange eye lids and shape, which I find to be a challenge when it comes to be doing my own make-up. Monique, on the other hand, is MAGICAL. Both as a bride and a bridesmaid, Monique made me feel so incredibly beautiful and confident. I've had my makeup done by other artists before, but I've never been happy with the outcome. I have consistently LOVED what Monique is able to do, as she always makes me feel like a better version of myself. I wish I could keep her in my pocket and have her do my makeup everyday!!!! MONIQUE IS THE BEST!!

Monique was an absolute joy to work with. Not only was she awesome on a personal level...that's important when you have to sit in a chair and talk to a stranger for a few hours...but she did such an incredible job on my makeup. I was nervous, because I don't wear a lot of makeup usually, but Monique listened to my requests and worked with me to find the perfect balance. I'd recommend her without hesitation.

Monique is the best! She was so professional and easy to work with from start to finish. When we met for my trial, I was so impressed by her preparedness and obvious talent. I had never felt so glamorous! On my wedding day, though, her makeup was beautiful! She made me feel like a princess throughout the entire day. Monique was even open to coming back to touch-up my makeup after the ceremony. My mom and mother-in-law also had their makeup done, and they looked and felt fantastic! Monique was AMAZING for my wedding. My bridal party and myself looked so elegant, she is so talented on making your best features of your face really pop! My husbands reaction was priceless when we did our first look : ) My mom(who doesn't wear a lot of makeup) kept receiving so many compliments from my guests, saying she looked 20 years younger! And to top it off we were all done before scheduled, so we had more time to relax and do more pictures!

Monique is incredibly talented. She really took my feedback from my trial and made me feel like such a beautiful bride on my wedding day. Monique was absolutely amazing. She made me feel and look so beautiful. From our first conversation all the way through my wedding day she made me feel at ease. I worked with her being out of town and never got to have a trial. She talked me through everything and me feel confident and comfortable that she knew what the look I was going for. Monique was so wonderful ever since the first second I reached out to her! I went with her in the end and couldn't be happier. My bridal party had blush dresses and Monique was able to make everyone looks beautifully elegent without being too overdone-which was my request, I wanted very natural looking makeup. She made me feel so beyond beautiful yet I still felt like myself (I usually don't go heavy on my makeup but as a bride I wanted to make sure I looked made up yet not too heavy). My wedding was out of my hometown and Monique not only set us up with makeup but she reccomended me to a few hair stylists that I could work with as well which was extremely helpful! And whom I was very happy with as well. Anyways besides for beautiful makeup, Monique has a lovely personality and she was so amazing, calming, and pleasant to work with! I would definately reccomend her for your wedding !

Monique is an AMAZINGLY talented make up artist and I would highly recommend her to any and everyone I know. I was stunned after my trial at how huge my eyes looked and couldn't believe the transformation. The day of my wedding, she was calm and professional and really helped me enjoy the getting ready process. All of my 6 bridesmaids and my mom looked stunning and the consensus was that we all looked like the BEST versions of ourselves without looking fake. She used an airbrush which made everyone look naturally vibrant but stayed true to each woman's skin tone. Weeks after my wedding, my girls kept gushing over how much they loved their make up. People remarked that my SIL looked better at my wedding than she did at her own! I was very impressed with Monique's concern over whether I LOVED my make up and she wouldn't let me get out of the chair until I was 100% happy with how I looked. I couldn't have asked for better make up and would recommend her without hesitation. Now I have to come up with excuses to have her do my make up again!!! :)

Monique was a live saver! It was a week before my Senior Ball and I had no one to do my makeup. So, I came across this website, browsed through venders nearest to me and found Monique! I also contacted her through facebook and she got back to me within hours. She arrived right on time, not a second late. Monique is very kind and sweet all throughout the makeup application process. She is also very thorough in everything! But, what really stood out to me was her professionalism! I have never had my makeup done by anyone more professional than Monique! In the end the application was exactly what I wanted and I was EXTREMELY pleased with everything especially, my airbrush foundation. It was all FLAWLESS! All throughout this process Monique was just an overall an amazing makeup artist in every way possible! Thank you so much Monique for contributing to this special night! I was so happy with Monique on my wedding day. She was so helpful and attentive. Do to an unexpected move for my husband's job our wedding date was moved 3 months earlier. She put me at ease and was able to accommodate the new date. I'm a very picky person, especially about my makeup, and she gave me advice as to what would look great in person as well as in photos while still taking into consideration what I was comfortable wearing. During our trial she tried several different looks on me and we were able to decide what would be best for the time and place of my wedding. Over all, I would highly recommend her services and am looking forward to working with her again in the future.

Monique is wonderful! She did my makeup as well as my bridesmaids' makeup for my New Years Day wedding. She is very in tune to the style of your wedding. She gave me a beautiful natural look that perfectly complimented my personality, dress, and style. She also did the makeup for my 2 teenage junior attendants. She made them look beautiful without them looking "made up", something that is definitely a skill few have mastered.
Monique came to my sister's house and was very flexible. She spent a lot of time on my makeup trial as well. I highly recommend Makeup By Monique.

I wear make-up everyday and wasn't sure if a professional could give me the look I wanted to achieve on my wedding. However, Monique talked with me prior to booking to assure me I could obtain the look I was going for and with a Trial, she took the visions and pictures I had and was able to transform me into the look I wanted effortlessly. She was very attentive to responding promptly with every text/e-mail I sent, and she made me feel as if we were long time friends. She was very sweet and professional. On my wedding day, she was the first person in my Bridal Suite, and with her presence, I wasn't nervous as I was so content around her and confident in her work. All of my bridesmaids were STUNNING, and they were all thrilled with how their make-up was done, (and one has already reached out to her for her upcoming wedding). Monique truly loves what she does and I recommend her for any event! You will not only be beautiful, but you will be naturally beautiful, which is something not all professionals can make you feel.
