I loved my experience working with Kristi, Krystal, and Cammy at WINK Hair + Makeup for my wedding. The team ensured that all 8 ladies in my wedding party looked flawless and gave them a look that was perfect for my wedding day. I specifically wanted a makeup artist who was familiar with Asian features and Krystal delivered incredible results!
As a bride, they eased all of my anxieties through their professionalism and incredible skills. We were 30 minutes behind schedule when we started the whole hair and makeup process but the team worked efficiently and we ended up being 20 minutes ahead so I could enjoy the rest of my wedding day!
The entire experience was so relaxing and enjoyable—I honestly felt pampered every step of the way. If you want to feel like your best self on your wedding day, I wholeheartedly recommend WINK Hair and Makeup. They truly exceeded all expectations, and I’m so thankful to them for helping me feel absolutely gorgeous!
Photos are from my hair and makeup trial and they seamlessly incorporated my late grandmother's necklace into my hairstyle which I absolutely loved -

Kristi did an amazing job with mine and all my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding day. I look back at my wedding pictures and can't believe how spectacular she made me and my girls look! She also had a woman named Theresa that did mine and my girls' hair, and Theresa also did an outstanding job on wedding day. They were very professional and honored all of our requests for our looks. I would recommend Kristi to anyone in need of a wonderful makeup artist! :) -

Kristi was recommended to me by a photographer friend of mine. I am also a photographer, so I have a good eye for detail. My friend told me that Kristi is the best makeup artist in the area and she definitely didn't disappoint!
For my trial, she looked at some pinterest inspiration images and matched the look almost exactly. I felt it was a little too heavy once I saw it on myself and she was able to tone it down and took feedback really easily. The second time she did my makeup was for my bridal portrait. I asked her to make a few color tweaks and she nailed it on the first try.
She works efficiently and is very laid back. This helped me stay calm as well. I don't like super high energy people around me when I'm under pressure! She finished early, and this is a big deal because when makeup or hair runs late, it makes the rest of the day so much harder!
She has a ton of makeup and you won't need to bring a thing. Some makeup artists ask you to bring your own foundation, which I think is kind of lame since you many people use makeup with SPF in it, but that doesn't work for photos. (She actually taught me that)
Kristi is awesome and I would highly recommend her! -

Kristi was absolutely amazing! I went back and forth on using a makeup artist as for my wedding as a place to save cost. I contacted Kristi a few weeks before my wedding and she made it work. My makeup looked amazing and so much better in photos than I ever could have done. She also helped touch up my family's make up. The makeup lasted all night and looked great. It was the first time I used fake eyelashes and they really made a difference. Please book Kristi for your wedding or other photo shoots, you will not regret it!!! -

Kristi was awesome. We had a little bit of a hiccup with my venue to start the day, but she was great and helped to make me feel better about the situation. She was even able to do the makeup for an extra person at the last minute. Everything turned out great and my makeup looked perfect all day and night! -

Kristi was beyond the best make-up artist I've ever worked with. She was incredibly helpful during our trials and helped me nail down the perfect look. On the day of the wedding she was prompt, prepared, professional and so much fun. My bridesmaids and I looked stunning and received countless compliments at the reception and weeks after. I can't wait to have her play with my face for a future event. :-) -

I am so glad I found Kristi to do my makeup for my wedding. Not only is she so sweet but a real pro. My makeup looked beautiful! Kristi was very professional from the early communications to the makeup trial and finally to the big day. The airbrush makeup looked flawless and my pictures came out beautiful. Kristi is the best!! She was a big part in making my day special. My makeup looked amazing, and photographed very well! She also worked great with all the bridesmaids and the moms! When my bridesmaids were late that morning, Kristi even helped family members put up some last minute decorations while she waited for the bridesmaids to arrive. She is truly talented and was the best vendor to work with! You will be so happy if you go with her! -

Having Kristi do make up for my wedding was such an excellent decision. From when I first contacted her about working together, she was extremely responsive, friendly and professional. She worked with me to set up a time for my trial and was very flexible, which was at her studio (which is beautiful by the way and makes you feel so special being there!). At the trial, I got to know Kristi and her partner, Theresa, who did my hair. They work so well as a team and I felt confident that they would do an awesome job for my big day.
The day of the wedding, Kristi and Theresa arrived early and were all set up and ready to go for our start time. Two of my aunts who got their hair and make up done didn't speak English and Kristi worked with them (and me!) to figure out exactly how they wanted their make up done. She was so patient and I really appreciated the extra effort. Kristi made each of us (6 in total) look so beautiful. We all felt great! She did exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. The products she uses are high quality and the make up lasted all night long.
Working with Kristi was an absolute pleasure and I would HIGHLY recommend her to any bride looking for someone to do make up. She is so warm, friendly, positive and flexible. She is a true artist and will make you look beautiful. I hope I will have another opportunity to work with her in the future! -

Kristi did wedding makeup for me as well as my mom and mother-in-law. This was my first time having my makeup done professionally and I’m so glad I found her because she did such a beautiful job on all of us! She was very friendly, responsive, and flexible with time and travel. I showed her some inspiration photos and I felt like she really listened and understood my vision and the look I was going for. The makeup was natural and I still felt like myself, just enhanced. I would absolutely recommend her! She made all of us feel confident and beautiful on this very special occasion. Will definitely be going back to her in the future! -

Kristi is literally the makeup artist Makeup artists go to for their big day. I was in the makeup industry for 8 years and met Kristi through work. She has always impressed me with her artistry and creativity so there was no question when I was looking for someone to do my makeup for my wedding. I just had my trial with her and was blown away, she did exactly what I wanted just based off a picture and her creativity.
She is an artist you can trust. Not only is she talented but she is fun too! The airbrush is amazing and totally worth it! It not only makes your skin look like butter but it saves SO much time. You are in great hands with Kristi!

I have been around the best of them in the Washington D.C. area, but she exceeds them in value, flexibility, quality of service, and professionalism. She will make you radiate on your special day. I am a professional model and I first met Kristi at a photo shoot where she did my makeup and hair for a photo shoot. She is an awesome makeup artist and a fantastic person. She is so professional and is an EXPERT at makeup and hair. I have had a lot of stylist do my hair and makeup over the years and Kristi ranks at the TOP OF MY LIST of my favorites!!! I absolutely loved her doing my makeup and hair. She made me look so beautiful. She is fantastic!! -

I hired Kristi from a recommendation from a coworker. She had 9 of us to do on our wedding day, and she brought an assistant to help. Both were amazing. She listened to what each person wanted, and every single person looked amazing and beautiful, but still looked like themselves. I don't usually wear much makeup, so I was worried about feeling too made up- she did a fantastic job of making me feel special but not overdone. Plus I got fake lashes, which were perfect. Everyone's makeup was one of my favorite parts of the day. Plus she's just so sweet and nice! She fit in perfectly with our group while we were getting ready. I highly recommend! -

If you want to look beautiful on your wedding day, definitely hire Makeup by Kristi Lynn. She is AMAZING! I don't wear alot of make up daily and she made me look very natural but very beautiful for the big day. She is fun to work with and so sweet. All my bridesmaids loved the makeup so much they wanted to get theirs done and she was more than willing to stay extra to do that. She is awesome and you wont be disappointed! -

Kristi is awesome! She did all my bridesmaids, my mother, and mine. It was perfect! She definitely takes your likes/ dislikes into consideration and makes you beautiful! I was sick all wedding week and woke up that morning looking super ill with huge bags and black circles. You couldn't even tell I looked so bad that morning with how she applied my makeup. I was so excited when she told me she has airbrushing. My makeup lasted from the first-look until the sparkler exit many hours later that night (even though I was a crying during our vows!) A++++ I absolutely loved working with her! -

I hired Kristi to do the makeup for me and my bridesmaids. Even though we were running really behind due to the wedding being an early morning event, she managed calmly through it all!! Each of us looked stunning and I still hear complimentson how all of us looked. Kristi is professional and listens to what you want and brings your beauty out naturally. She completely relaxed us all with her incredible personality and made us all look flawless and beautiful. Kristi is an incredible makeup artist!! She listens to her client and works with them to provide the perfect wedding day look. She is talented beyond compare. She did my wedding makeup 2 years ago and I still get compliments today about how gorgeous I looked on my wedding day. What bride doesn't want that? She is amazing at her artistry but she is even more than that.. She is so sweet, on time, so easy to work with and worth every penny.
