Fran is the real deal. Her work is top-tier. I had the pleasure of getting my make-up done by Fran for my best friend’s wedding. What stood out to me was her gentleness, the application process, her SANITATION processes (muy importante), and the longevity of the make-up. When I tell you that make-up could have lasted another 12 hours, it really could have because of her high-quality products and technique. The make up did not budge and there was very little creasing. The foundation was smooth and blurring - it was so beautiful!!! Hoping I can get my make-up done by her again because I am super picky and she checked off every box!!

Decided last minute on hiring hair & mua for my big day. She quickly responded to my inquire. Asked all the last minute questions I had. Very professional and sweet throughout the process including the hair and makeup trial a week before my big day. It was raining cats and dogs the whole ceremony but my hair and makeup stay flawless! Fran is the Best
We are repeat clients of Fran and have no plan to discontinue when we’re in need of makeup or hair services for an event. Back in 2014, Fran did my high school senior prom makeup. Then a few years later she did my makeup for a photoshoot, in collaboration with a photographer in DC. She also did my moms makeup for her 50th birthday a few years ago. Just recently Fran did me and my moms hair AND makeup for my brothers wedding. She killed it of course 😁 I received so many compliments the wedding day. Fran was super helpful when we first connected. She was easy to communicate with/ super responsive. It was easy to set up dates for our trial.
Once I got to her studio it was connected and she listened to what wanted and she definitely delivered(hair and makeup) I was in love . I immediately wanted to book her for the wedding day.
On my actual wedding day she came to my house and did my hair and make. She also did my mother's make up and we were so happy with the results

Wedding make up with Fran
Fran was the ABSOLUTE best. We worked together for about a year, including a make up trial and various lash appointments to get me ready for the big day. Fran was punctual, SO FUN, and just super experienced overall. Our wedding make up was spot on and truly so perfect. Fran knows how to work with all different face tones, shapes, etc. She is the best and I wouldn't recommend any other artist for make up in the DMV. YOU WON'T REGRET GOING WITH FRAN!!!

Fun, easy experience with gorgeous results!
Fran was recommended to me by a friend when I was looking for someone do do my hair and makeup for an engagement photo shoot somewhat last-minute. Fran was really responsive and really flexible -- she came to my parents' house which made my experience a lot less stressful! My makeup looked really natural, and she did a great job with my hair (I received a ton of compliments!). Not only did my curled down-do hold up through a very windy evening of photographs, but I even was able to enjoy my curled hair for a few days! And it wasn't like it was crunchy with hairspray -- it was really soft with a natural look! It was a great experience and I'd recommend Fran to any other brides-to-be (or anyone else prepping for an event or photo shoot!). Thanks, Fran! :)

Dreams Do Come True!
Franscisca was amazing! I had my makeup trial back in November 2019 and she stuck with me for over two years to March 2022, since my wedding was postponed twice. I never wear makeup, so wasn't sure of the look I wanted for the big day. I told her that I wanted it to look natural and just let her do her thing. All I could say was WOW! I couldn't believe how beautiful and stunning I was, it was amazing! She brought my dream bridal look (which I didn't even know what that was) to life! She was also respectful, kind, and a great communicator all throughout.

Calming Presence & Excellent Service
Fran and her team are the most calming and professional team. We had a wedding party of 14 women (including mothers and grandmothers) who all received makeup services. As an emotional bride who generally runs hot, I was particularly worried about tears (during vow reading) and sweat (during party dancing!). Fran's makeup felt light and kept the ENTIRE day/night.

Wedding July 2019
Fran did the makeup for six of us for my sons wedding. She was incredible and was able to make the six of us ages 27-78 feel so beautiful and happy with our makeup and hair for the day. Fran was a lovely person to work with for my friend's wedding day. She was timely and professional. I personally had no experience wearing makeup prior to my friend's wedding and Fran was patient enough to answer all my questions regarding the products she used. I really liked (I cannot emphasize enough how much I liked my makeup!), and the look only got better as the day progressed! Fran is amazing! She is super sweet, professional, and really good at what she does. Fran did my make up for my wedding as well as some of my bridesmaids, maid of honor, mother and mother in law and they all were super happy with Fran's art. Not knowing what I wanted exactly, I told Fran for my trial that I wanted something simple but elegant and she knew exactly what to do. Aside from my trial , with such short notice, Fran was super flexible and able to accommodate me to do my engagement shoot make up with such short notice which I truly appreciate. She is very professional and her work is simply the best! I chose the option of air brush and I couldn't of have been any happier. Fran did a fantastic job as the make up artist for my mother's wedding. My mother had very little exposure to make up and Fran did a great job listening to and incorporating ideas that I shared beforehand. My mother was beyond pleased with her makeup and so was I. Perfect MUA for weddings!
I hired Fran for our May wedding (bride + 5 bridesmaids + mom) after finding her on Instagram and it was the best decision! Finding a MUA was really hard for me as I wanted to make sure they could nail “glam” makeup and Fran was literally perfect. She was on time, professional, and finished early (for everyone scared about timelines literally nothing to worry about with her)! Our venue was SO SO HOT but my makeup lasted perfectly all day (~9 hrs). I have gone to Fran after my wedding for special occasion makeup and I’ll continue to do so. 10/10 recommend!!

Amazing Makeup artist
I am new to DMV area and searched everywhere to find a Great makeup artist. All I have to say is that Fran was heaven sent! She has such a beautiful spirit and so accommodating. Being a first time mom and having a new baby at home, Fran was patient and very understanding. Overall, she is AWESOME and made this new mom look HOT. Total self-esteem booster! Thank you Fran!!

The best!
Fran came to my house fully equipped with a chair, her own light, and alllll the make up. She showed up on time and finished in a timely manner but also didn’t rush. She did such an amazing job with my make up I was very impressed and had tons of compliments...I will definitely be going back to her in the future :)

Bridesmaid's Beat!
Fran came highly recommended from one of my trusted bridesmaids. Since Fran is the only make-up artist she trusts (and she's one of my pickiest friends), I knew Fran had to be nothing less than amazing. Needless to say, Fran was the first make-up artist I reached out to for my bridesmaids. From day one she was pleasant to communicate with and quick to respond. Since then she's been consistent with that. A week before the wedding I needed to add on my mother to our finalized schedule and she was able to accommodate her. She has a warm and welcoming personality and immediately it was like she was one of the girls all while keeping it professional. The weekend of my wedding, Fran was booked for two days worth of festivities and on both days the beat she did for the bridesmaids and the mothers was perfection. She had my bridesmaids looking flawless!!! I would not only recommend Fran, but I myself would book her again.

Fran was AMAZING!!! Regarding communication, she was incredibly prompt and professional. She was also very flexible and laid back - which was important for me as an anxious, last-minute planning kind of bride. She was super patient and accommodating and came to me for a trial. :) Most importantly, she did a fabulous job - a true artist! My mother and I were so happy with our makeup. It was lovely to see my mom glowing after Fran finished doing her makeup. She did airbrush and it lasted ALL DAY - even during an outside ceremony with a never-ending rain mist. Lastly, Fran was also super helpful and connected me to her colleague for hair too. Overall, use her! She is fabulous!

I have been using Francisca since 2016 and whenever I'm in DC I have her do my makeup. She is amazing at what she does, and she's a great person as well. She's always punctual and professional and does an amazing job on my face. She has so many products, choices etc. I always feel so beautiful when she's done. Don't waste your time looking for another MUA! Fran is perfection! She's professional, punctual, flexible, easy to talk to, and fun to be around. Over 2 years ago she did mine, my mothers', and my wedding party's makeup. All of the women LOVED their makeup. T I had several consults with Fran before deciding on a final look. I felt horrible because I kept changing my mind, but she took it like a champ. I appreciated her determination to make me happy. I immediately could tell how serious she is about her craft. Til this day, I call her whenever I need a beat! She is the sweetest person ever and officially apart of my family. It seems as if each beat is better than the one before. Not sure how that's even possible! It's as if the make up melts into your face. I've been to other MUAs and left feeling as if there were pounds of makeup on my face. Francisca did such a beautiful job on my wedding makeup! She came to my hotel, which was so easy and lots of fun. I asked for a natural, soft look, because I normally don't wear a lot of makeup, and she was on point. I got lots of compliments from guests, and my makeup is lovely in my wedding photos. Whatever she used stood up well in the August heat/humidity. I highly recommend Fran for any special occasion makeup! She'll make you feel gorgeous!

I met Fran in 2016 when I was in need of a make up artist for a photo shoot. After email exchanges with her and other artists, I chose her because Fran sounded nice and she traveled to my desired location and charged reasonable price for her service. When I met her in person on the photo shoot day, I did not at all regret my decision and immediately liked her. She was very fun and friendly. She made me very comfortable, did not make me feel strange, or did not looked down at despite my imperfect skin. Instead she transformed me to a prettier version. I had so much fund working with her. We chatted the whole time while she was doing my make up. Since July 2013 I have been using Fran several times for every occasions I needed. She was my most fav make up artist for all my photo shoots and appearances. Could not thank her enough. And when friends needed recommendations, she was on the #1 referral list.

Fran is a MUA who makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. Throughout our session, I was open about all my personal insecurities when it comes to wearing makeup, and she heard it all out and created a look that was exactly what I was looking for (and matched my personality!) She was really open about showing me her progress throughout and adjusting when I asked her to. She also has a really good variety of products, especially if you’ve got a tan/dark complexion. She came prepared with the right products based on the pictures I emailed her in advance and was super kind and easy to get along with during our session.

Okay not only does Fran do the most amazing job in the world but she’s the most incredible person. She makes me look gorgeous, feel gorgeous, and keeps it fun. As someone who rarely wears makeup I wanted someone who would make me look elegant and beautiful on my wedding day without over doing it and Francisca did just that! Francesca is amazing with booking and flexibility. Her cleanliness is top notch and most importantly, she is super talented with her makeup skills. She also had a welcoming personality. All of these factored into booking with her again

Double booked my day
I booked her over a year in advance. I did 3 trials with her throughout the year leading up to my wedding day. She double booked my day and gave me a weeks notice to find a new makeup artist. Never refunded my trial money just refunded my deposit. Very unprofessional.
