Danee was professional, effective and timely! I had nine people getting their make-up done and we were finished in plenty of time. Everyone looked great and she touched up anyone who needed it. She also arrived on time and was in contact prior to event to make sure all the minute details were taken care of. -

Danee was one of the best choices I could have made for my wedding! I was very late finding a make up artist and contacted her only a month before the date. I was so lucky she had the day open and graciously worked around her own person plans to be available for my September 5th wedding. When I met Danee she was very professional and gave me exactly what I asked for. Not being very makeup inclined myself all I had was a picture and she did it perfectly! My bridesmaids and mothers and mother in law also got there makeup done so it was a very early morning and Danee got there on time with her assistant and efficiently and flawlessly got all 8 of our face done and we threw in a last minute addition. I would recommend her to anyone! I was so happy to not have to worry about how everyone's makeup would turn out while I was getting ready. I also felt so confident during pictures and the entire wedding that my face looked absolutely perfect and it lasted all the way through the after party! I genuinely hope I have another occasion to have my makeup done by Danee! -

I got married on August 15, 2015 and used Danee for my make up as well as my mother and entire bridal party. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Danee!! I first met her when my MOH got married two years ago. I instantly knew that I wanted to book her because she made me look glamorous. Throughout the whole wedding planning process Danee was extremely helpful and responsive. I have gotten my make up done before and Danee is the only person that was able to make my eye lashes (that go naturally down) look amazing by gluing my real ones to my fake eye lashes. She made me look glamorous on my wedding day as well as my girls!! The make up lasted all day and night which is amazing because I got married on the hottest day of the entire summer!! Brides look no further for make up because if you book Danee you WILL NOT be disappointed!!! -

I booked Danee for my bridal makeup and couldn't be happier with my choice. She did a wonderful job, and even my mother who is very picky with her makeup, was extremely happy with everything. Makeup can sometimes feel cakey, and I loved how light and natural the airbrush makeup felt - like I was wearing nothing. The makeup held up against taking photos outdoors on a hot, muggy day and through a whole night of dancing. Danee arrived right on time, even beating me to the venue, and did everyone's makeup quickly, efficiently, and beautifully. I would highly recommend her services. Thank you for making me feel beautiful on my special day!! -

Danee was a makeup angel sent from the Heavens! From day 1 of reaching out to her, she was professional, kind, engaging and equally excited to be a part of my wedding day. Her hour-long make up trials consisted of her being open to my ideas, offering her suggestions and us working together to achieve the perfect wedding look. She even did a trial for my mother and gave her some great skin tips that come my wedding day, my mom was even more radiant, all thanks to Danee. The morning of, she arrived promptly along with her assistant and went right to work on my 6 bridesmaids, my mother and myself. Everyone's makeup was flawless, from the eyelashes to the airbrush to the lips. Between the church, reception (which ended at 12:30AM) and greeting 240+ guests, my makeup did not budge! I selected Danee based on reviews here on wedding wire. Every review is absolutely on point! Her talents regarding makeup are amazing. I am not a makeup person so we did two trials (i was also planning a destination wedding living in FL and having our big day in NY). Danee was patient and kind each time i was unsure of how i wanted my makeup to look. The DAY OF the wedding she was flexible, i decided last minute to have my mothers makeup done and with ease she said YES. I think the day of my wedding my makeup was even more stunning than i could have imagined. Danee thank you for making me look stunning on the most important day of my life!!! -

Danee is an amazing Makeup artist. I was so happy when my photography gave me her information. On my wedding day all the guest keep telling how much they loved my makeup. My makeup last all night long and only thing i had to touch up was my lipstick. -

Danee is a true talent and so amazing to work with!
I did a trial with Danee and she totally listened to and understood the natural yet polished look I wanted for my wedding day. She did not go overboard with eye shadow or airbrushing, which I was concerned with when looking for a professional makeup artist that I had no prior relationship with.
On my wedding day she arrived early with her assistant and set-up in the bridal suite as I got my act together! She was calm throughout the morning and moved smoothly between myself, my 4 bridesmaids, my mother, mother-in-law and sister-in-law and had time to spare! She even chatted with my girls as she was doing their makeup asking about how we met each other and it was nice to hear that she was interested and cared to know about us!
I would highly recommend Danee's services for your wedding day and any other special occasion! -

Danee was one of the first vendors I booked for my wedding because she is the only one I would let do makeup for my big day! She is amazing at what she does. I (literally) couldn't believe my eyes when she was done! At my trial she took time to really understand what look I was going for and guided me based on the look of the dress. The day of Danee shows up with a sense of calmness and actually had to help me at a point when I became flustered after the arrival of video and photographers! My entire bridal party looked great and we were all incredibly happy (even the ones that are always hard to please!!) my makeup was perfect the whole day and I was beyond happy to see the way it photographed. Danee is professional and a true artist. Thank you for making me beautiful for my wedding!!

I had a phenomenal experience with danee as my wedding makeup artist! From the trial to the big day, she was easy to get in touch with and really listened to what I had to say about the look I was hoping to achieve while still giving valuable input. I booked Danee based on reviews and I couldn't be happier with her! I live in NYC and she lives "upstate" so it took a bit of time for me to find a date that would work for a trial but Danee was very accommodating. Her studio has large windows and different lighting to see the makeup in different scenarios. She took the pictures I showed her on Pinterest and got to work. We spent hours together. She was patient and so kind. I trusted that she was 100% devoted to making me look and feel gorgeous. She absolutely exudes warmth and calm. Even her voice is soothing. When the trial was over she took notes on all the products used and sent me home with the falsies she used on me - an awesome take-away! The day of my wedding she and her assistant were at my Bridal Suite completely set up by the time I arrived. We decided to do my makeup last so I'd be as fresh as possible. When it was time for me to take the chair one of my photographers began shooting closeups of me. All of a sudden I became incredibly overwhelmed. Danee was my angel. She kindly asked the photographer to leave the room for a little and asked everyone to give me some space. At that moment, I felt like the world stopped so that I could just breathe! I look back on that with such thanks for Danee being there for me. I could not be more thankful to have found her. NOT TO MENTION my makeup was simply stunning. I have never in my life felt more beautiful than on my wedding day. My Bridesmaids, my mom, and my MIL were all THRILLED with her work. Everyone looked like the best versions of THEM. We all opted for airbrush which looked so gorgeous. I tried to purchase the lip liner Danee used at my trial so that I'd have it for touch-ups but it is discontinued. I bought a color as close as possible it just wasn't the same. Of course she gave me her personal one! I can’t rave enough about this woman. If you have read this far without deciding to use her you are missing out. Danee, you touched my heart! Thank you! -

She was a sweetheart and professional from day one where she did a trial for my mother and I to the actually wedding day where she traveled to my hotel and did me and all my girls! Danee is so talented. She can do whatever look you want and also advise you on what works with your hair, skin tone, etc. I changed the number of heads 5 times and she was so easy going and flexible. I had 6 little girls in my wedding, she was so kind and patient with them, making them all feel and look like little fairy princesses. I told her not too much on them...just make the look "glowy" and that is exactly what she did! -

Danee was truly amazing to work with, from my trial to my wedding day. She was so easy to work with and very organized. She was easy to get in touch with and always got right back to me with questions and concerns. She was responsive to my needs and those of my bridesmaids. Danee was wonderful to work with for my wedding. She did such an amazing job--I truly felt the most beautiful I had ever felt in my life. She was able to do make-up for me and four other people, no problem. It was amazing how much attention she gave each person one after the other. All of my bridesmaids looked beautiful and very natural. My wedding pictures look amazing because of her! Plus. she was so easy to work with--she came to the house that we were getting ready in, and even brought a chair and lighting. I would highly recommend Danee if you need make-up for your wedding. Danee was absolutely amazing! I had high expectations for the way my makeup looked on my wedding day and she EXCEEDED all of them! During the trial, she was down to earth but also professional and was very patient with me. I got to show her a few pictures of what I had in mind, and she was great at suggesting things without being forceful. I was BLOWN AWAY by how my makeup looked on my trial. I literally never looked so beautiful! After the trial, Danee stayed in touch and was there for me if I had any questions. During the week of the wedding, we had a phone call regarding the "day of" schedule and thank God I spoke to her because she completely calmed me down and assured me that everything would be fine!
She was prompt on the day of and came in with a warm smile. She did my makeup along with some of my bridesmaids and we were all so impressed. We all got air brush makeup and it was flawless. All of the girls had different makeup styles and she nailed each one perfectly! All of my bridesmaids asked me for her number so that they could contact her for future makeup service needs. On top of all that...the makeup looked AMAZING both in person and in photographs. I didn't have to do any touch ups and the air brush makeup did not transfer onto my dress or anything else! So happy! -

It was such a great thing to find Danee.. She did an amazing job doing our makeup and dealing with our craziness... On top of doing our makeup.. The professionalism and talent displayed by Makeup by Danee was bar none. From the trial session to my wedding day I could not have been more pleased with the services I received. Danee was inquisitive and responsive to my style, taste, and what look I wanted to achieve for my big day. She was full of compliments about my features that made me feel as beautiful as I looked. She would explain to me exactly why certain colors or products worked best for the shapes or angles of my face, etc. Danee and her assistant worked like a well oiled machine and got through myself, five bridesmaids, and a couple family members flawlessly and right on schedule. We loved the fact that she came on site to where we would be getting dressed, the excellent services she provided, and the reasonable pricing for the services. I raved about Danee after just the trial and on my wedding day my girlfriends saw exactly why! She was a pleasure to work with and I have already recommended her to several close friends that are brides-to-be themselves! -

Danee, the owner of Makeup by Danee, is an exceptional person. My daughter has been very ill since birth. A few years ago, we went to the Mayo Clinic and she received a new diagnosis which has improved her quality of life, enough that she could finally fulfill her dream of going to hebrew school and becoming a Bat Mitzvah. I had found Makeup by Danee on Facebook. When I contacted her to find out if she would consider doing my daughter's make up for her Bat Mitzvah, and the celebration of her new life, Danee was so touched by my story that she offered to do my daughter's make up and my make up as a gift. Not only did she treat us to her services, she met me at the mall to help me purchase the right shade of lip stick for my dress, she got up at the crack of dawn and drove all the way out to our house. She is kind, generous, caring, so warm and genuine. Not only is she an expert at her profession and a true artist, she made me and my daughter feel so relaxed and excited about our big day. Sometimes, professionals could be "stiff" and they could make you feel uncomfortable. There is just something about Danee that, as I said, makes her such a genuine person that to be with her on the morning of your BIG
DAY is priceless!! She cared about us, she cared about making every bit of our make up perfect and exactly what we wanted, she cared about our day ahead of us and was excited for us. I can't say enough great things about Danee. My bridesmaids and I absolutely loved our makeup and we all looked perfect. Some chose traditional application and some chose airbrush. I had 8 bridesmaids, plus me, my mom and aunt. She arrived on time and was completely professional. There were no surprises that morning and everyone got the look they wanted..more natural..or a smokey eye..or even some extra lashes. Danee was able to accommodate everyone from ages 12-60+. I highly recommend Danee and don't worry if you have a large bridal party like me, we never felt rushed as she will bring an assistant to do some prep to make sure you are ready on time! -

Believe it or not, finding a makeup artist was the absolute HARDEST task when it came to planning my wedding. I had 4 trials (before finding Danee), and traveled from Albany to NYC to do them. She did my makeup absolutely PERFECT! As a make-up artist myself, I did not want to deal with having to do my own make up on my wedding day. Danee was the perfect person for the job. Her experience as an artist added to her ability to create the perfect look I had in mind. I had a large wedding party that needed make-up as well as my mother, mother in law and god-mother. I had my make-up done by Danee a few years ago when I was in a friends wedding. I knew back then I wanted her to do my make-up for my wedding day whenever it was going to be! I contacted her shortly after getting engaged and promptly booked her for my own big day. I meet with her a few weeks prior to the wedding to do the trial and loved the results, she worked with me to get all the coloring exactly what I wanted. The day of the wedding she arrived on time and got started immediately. She did my sisters and mothers make-up then my own. We all loved our results and still get compliments on how our make-up looks in all the wedding photos.

Danee stepped in to be the makeup artist for my wedding after my original makeup artist was unable to. She was FANTASTIC. We had 10 people who got their makeup done and Danee did a great job with everyone. She was very accommodating and VERY helpful. She was friendly and professional, and was able to create the look that everyone wanted. I am so grateful that I had Danee for my big day- she is excellent at what she does and I couldn't have been happier with my makeup and the rest of my bridal party!!!! -

Danee is amazing! When it came to planning for my wedding, I called her immediately to see if she was available. She did an awesome job with not only my makeup, but the whole bridal party. She will listen to what you are looking for and also give an honest opinion. She did just that for me and we were all happy with how our makeup turned out. She never disappoints! I met Danee through MAC makeup and have stayed in touch with her her since. Even now, Iiving across the country, if I ever have a question for her, she always gets back to me. Not only is she a wonderful person, but she is very professional and personable. I would highly recommend Danee for any of your makeup needs. :) -

Five people got their makeup done on my wedding day and they were all really happy with it. Even my mother who hadn't put on makeup in 15 years and was a little hesitant in the beginning loved the air brush makeup and the false lashes she got for that day. The makeup looked great the whole day and left no marks on the clothes. Danee made everyone look their best that day and we were all very happy. -

The only reason I am giving a 4 out of 5 for quality is because everyone who had their make up done had a minor break out. Other than that she was great! very willing to work with exactly what you want and willing to change things if you weren't 100% sold! Very nice :) -
