With the craziness of Covid wedding changes, Alby stepped in and made my experience very easy and stress free. She was super accommodating when scheduling the trial and with very minimal makeup knowledge on my end, Alby knew exactly what I needed for a natural, glowing look on my wedding day. If I had any questions beforehand or had a change in schedule, she was very responsive and went with the flow of the day. She did an amazing job and the makeup lasted through tears and laughter all night long and into the after party! :-) Everyone from the mother of the bride to all the bridesmaids looked beautiful! -

If you are looking for an artist who is professional, responsive, and incredibly talented, I highly recommend Alby and her team. From the very beginning of the process, she was always timely in her communication and so easy to work with. Ultimately, I am so happy with how my hair and makeup turned out for my wedding! I felt beautiful, completely like myself, and had glam that lasted flawlessly through sweat, tears, and a day full of emotions. My biggest advice to future brides is to do the trial, and to do it with ample time before the wedding. I say this because I actually left my trial feeling a bit unsure—mostly because I hadn't been super clear on my own vision for my hair. My makeup for the trial was exactly what I had asked for (very natural and pretty), but as the wedding got closer, I realized I wanted something a bit different for both. On the day of the wedding, I decided to level things up and asked Alby to shift gears toward a more "glam" look instead, while still leaning toward a natural base. Her eyes completely lit up with this request, and wow, did she ever deliver! While she can absolutely do a beautiful, minimal natural look, I think she really shines when it comes to elevated natural glam. She listened to exactly what I wanted, pivoted without hesitation, and gave me the perfect wedding day look. I also appreciated that she was great at listening but never pushed me to do what she thought. However, if I asked for her opinion, she was always willing to guide me in the direction she thought best aligned with what I was looking for. I think it’s hard to know exactly what you want as a bride, and I so appreciated the space she held for me while I figured it out. On top of all of that, the day-of timeline went perfectly with zero issues. Alby and her team made sure everyone in my bridal party felt absolutely beautiful while still looking like themselves—which was a huge feat for two moms who don’t get their makeup done often! I am so grateful for Alby's calm energy, patience, and expertise on the big day.

Alby is an incredibly talented makeup artist. She listened closely to exactly what I wanted, and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. My makeup lasted all night, and her calm presence was especially appreciated throughout the morning as I was getting ready. -

Both my trial and day of makeup were incredible! I ended up asking to change a few things on the wedding day and Alby was able to make those adjustments in the moment. Everything was perfect! My makeup stayed the whole afternoon until midnight when I finally accepted that I needed to take it off to go to bed. I felt so dang gorgeous! We made some tweaks to my bun for the day of and I loved how much bigger we were able to go with a bun donut. It held the whole night!
Obsessed and already thinking of when I may need a HMUA in the future. -

I honestly could not have asked for a more perfect makeup experience for my wedding day. From the very first consultation to the final touch-up before walking down the aisle, everything was handled with such care, professionalism, and genuine passion.
Alby went above and beyond in every possible way. He truly listened to what I wanted and elevated it beyond anything I imagined. My makeup felt like me, just more radiant, polished, and camera-ready. The attention to detail was incredible: flawless skin, perfectly blended eyes, and a lip that lasted through happy tears, photos, and an entire night of celebrating.
Not only did the makeup look stunning in person, but it photographed beautifully in every light. I received so many compliments throughout the day, and I felt confident, calm, and absolutely glowing.
Beyond the talent, Alby’s energy was everything—so warm, calming, and supportive during such an emotional and important moment. It felt like having a trusted friend there making sure I looked and felt my best.

I cannot recommend Makeup by Alby enough! From my very first trial through the big day, she was amazing every step of the way. As someone who doesn’t normally wear much makeup, I was nervous about feeling overdone, but Alby made me look and feel like the best version of myself. She took the time to explain little things along the way—like the difference between a matte versus a glowy finish—so I felt comfortable and confident in the choices we made.
On the wedding day, Alby and her team were absolute pros. They got 10 women ready in just 2.5 hours, and everyone looked beautiful. The process was seamless, fun, and stress-free, which is exactly what you hope for on such an important day.
All in all, Alby was wonderful to work with, and I would absolutely book her again for future events. She truly goes above and beyond! -

Alby did such a fantastic job on my bridal and bridesmaids' makeup! She is so kind, personable, and amazing at her craft! My makeup lasted all day and I received so many compliments throughout the night! She was also able to accommodate my bridesmaids makeup based on their own inspiration pics which was fantastic. I would highly recommend booking with her for an event! -

Alby is so sweet and very attentive. She listened to exactly what I wanted and even gave me some suggestions for my photo shoot. My makeup was so beautiful, I didn't want to wash it off. You won't regret hiring her!
