She got covid but helped me through the whole process by face timing, sending me to Sephora with specific information as to what I should buy, and guiding me through the whole process!
Also, I’d had a pre-wedding session with her and the result was fantastic.

Talented and Amazing

Anabelle was the makeup artist for me wedding. I found her through one of my co-workers who has known Anabelle for years and another who is using Anabelle for her wedding. I got married on 2/27/2021 after re-scheduling my wedding due to the pandemic. Ladies, if you are looking for a professional, responsive, extremely talented, friendly makeup artist you need to contact Anabelle. Anabelle has years of experience and it shows! Anabelle highlighted my features and made me look like my best self. Not only was my makeup fabulous but Anabelle is too. She made all the ladies comfortable and was super organized. I loved having Anabelle do my wedding makeup she is fantastic! She did my entire bridal party and few family member’s make-up for my August wedding. As a bit of a perfectionist I did two trials (to be sure of my look) and I felt very confident with Anabelle. The make-up was beautiful and natural. Additionally, I appreciated her focus on eyes (my favorite feature). She uses individual lashes rather which make the look more customizable and natural. As I had an August wedding I was extremely appreciative and impressed with how well the makeup stood up to the weather. Though my wedding and ceremony were indoors we took pictures in central park in 80 degree heat and humidity. You couldn’t even tell! She and her assistant were just incredible touching up the bridal party and keeping us looking our best through the ceremony. Anabelle is not only a talented make-up artist, but a great person to work with. She is incredibly professional and responsive following –up to emails often within just a few minutes! I truly enjoyed working with her on my wedding.

Anabelle did my makeup for both my engagement shoot and wedding. I cannot sing her praises enough. Her work is flawless yet natural. I've had my makeup done on various occasions by different people, but never felt as beautiful as when Anabelle performed her magic. She enhances your best features and gives you an amazing glow that looks great under any kind of light. My bridesmaids all raved about her. Anabelle was extremely responsive and professional from the start. She responds very quickly to emails, answered all my questions, and was courteous and on time to both the trial in my apartment and my appointment. She even made a schedule for the day of the wedding detailing the names of the people she'd be working on, and what time she would be working on them.

On top of all her organization, her work is just flawless. I was outside for both a set of pictures, and a part of the wedding, and the photographer (among others) commented that my makeup was still perfect after standing out in the heat for an hour. Her skills speak for themselves-she is definitely worth hiring for any event, and I will be sure to use her again for any professional makeup needs I may have.

If you’re looking for the consummate professional in a makeup artist for your big event, look no further.
From the moment we engaged Anabelle for my daughter’s June 2018 wedding until she left the venue eleven hours later after post-ceremony touch-ups, Anabelle delivered 100%.
Her makeup application technique is perfection. My daughter and I both did makeup trials and it was clear that Anabelle had the artistry, skill and sensibility we were looking for. She is warm and friendly and truly listens to her clients. Anabelle understands how important it is that each of us is comfortable with the look she creates - it has to look great from both sides of the canvas!

We were a group of ten women- the bride, attendants, and moms, with different visions of what special event makeup should look like. Anabelle and her assistant, Hope, did a magnificent job of making each of us feel gorgeous. They allowed plenty of time so that no one was rushed and everyone was happy, from the minimalists, who wear little more than a swipe of lip gloss on a daily basis, to those of us who wanted a more dramatic look.

Equally important, Anabelle is a clear, responsive communicator, from your initial inquiry to last minute scheduling questions, and she is on time every time. The last thing you want when planning your event is the slightest concern that your vendors will be late or disappoint in some way. You never have to worry with Anabelle. I give her my highest recommendation!!

My photographer recommended me Anabelle because I was complaining that I couldn’t find makeup artist that won’t change my face completely with 10 layers of makeup and looong false eyelashes (as it seems to be a trend in NY area). It was the best decision I’ve made! Anabelle is so professional, her makeup work is unbelievable. She is just enhancing your best features and make you look gorgeous. That’s all you need on your wedding day. My makeup lasted all day and all night, not even one lash fell off or foundation. She also did make up for my mom and my mom in law and sister in law. They all ended up looking stunning and were receiving compliments all night. On top of Anabelle being so professional she is also a very nice person, pleasure to talk to and fun to be around. From first trial I was sure that everything will go perfectly, she listens to everything and she knows (somehow!) what you want. All four of us got something that looked incredible! There is no words to describe how happy I was with my makeup on my wedding day! Hope to have other occasion that requires makeup to experience Anabelle’s work

Anabelle is an absolute delight to work with. I first met Anabelle when she worked my older sister's wedding in September 2016. She did both mine, my sister, my mother, and grandmother's makeup flawlessly. We were all so happy with the way we looked that we hired Anabelle to do my wedding in December 2016. Annabelle is an excellent listener and is able to capture the look you have in mind almost instantly. She uses high quality makeup that lasts HOURS! My makeup held up from 11am through midnight!

She is very good at receiving feedback and adjusting your look. She is very accessible making booking a trial before your big event easy. She even takes photos of your make up to ensure it will photograph well (in addition to looking amazing in person). She is very easy to be around adding a relaxing vibe to whatever atmosphere she is working in. Her work is very classy, timeless and professional. She is excellent for all generations. I highly recommend her!

Anabelle is an incredible makeup artist! She had previously done my makeup at my sister's wedding and had done such an incredible job that I decided to hire her for my own wedding. She did the makeup for both myself and my bridal party. The entire process was completely seamless - from the electronic contract to her being able to travel to me for my makeup trial. I can’t say enough good things about Anabelle. Choosing a makeup artist was the hardest thing for me because I am so particular and I almost never like my makeup when I get it done. Anabelle was extremely attentive to what I wanted and she was determined to make me happy. She was in touch in the months leading up to my wedding with skincare tips and general advise. She was extremely professional and her efficiency guaranteed all of the girls got ready in plenty of time, so I never had to worry about being late. Everyone looked like the most beautiful version of themselves. And did I mention she was a sweetheart? So kind and pleasant, making the glam time super enjoyable. She even offered to walk my dog while we were at the church! And she was there ready for touchups when we returned for the reception. I couldn't have made a better decision in deciding to hire Anabelle to do my makeup for my wedding day. First, Anabelle is extremely responsive and organized. Simply put- Anabelle is the best you can get for makeup. From start to finish, she was on top of it all. Anabelle offered clear and excellent packages, answered emails immediately, and was there to help in any way she could. She came for two trials, one of which I used for my bridal shower- compliments galore!!! Anabelle also helped me create a timeline for the morning so that hair and makeup were done without a worry. She and Hope (her 2nd artist) are great artists, and great listeners as well. I felt so comfortable telling her what I wanted, and what I liked or didn't like, so that on the big day everything was perfect!! SHE STAYED ALL THROUGH PICTURES AND AFTER THE CEREMONY! I got married in July, so as I sweat and smiled, Anabelle was right behind the camera ready to reapply. After I bawled my eyes out after the ceremony, she freshened me up before heading home- I mean does it get any better than that?! ALSO- her airbrush foundation and false eyelashes are EVERYTHING I was a celebrity and loved every second of it. If there were 6 stars, Anabelle would get them all!!!

Hiring Anabelle for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made while wedding planning (and anyone who has ever planned a wedding knows just how many decisions need to be made)! A friend of mine who got married before me recommended that I reach out to Anabelle to see if she was free on my wedding date to do makeup for myself and my bridal party and luckily she was free. As soon as I reached out to Anabelle and got a response I knew she would be great to work with. She is always prompt in her responses, and extremely kind. We set up a time to do a makeup trial. I wasn't sure what to expect when Anabelle came to my apartment to do the trial, but she was extremely patient, went through several different options with me, and worked to find the perfect makeup look for me that I would be comfortable with on my wedding date. I ended up booking Anabelle to do my makeup, my mom's makeup, mother in law's makeup, and 4 bridesmaids. She was amazing on the day of the wedding! Not only did she do an incredible job on everyones makeup, but she was a true friend and confidant. The day of my wedding was extremely hot (I got married in NYC in August) over 100 degrees! Of course, I decided that I had to do photos outside in Central Park for my first look. By the time I got to Central Park, I was a million degrees, I was wearing a very large heavy ball gown, and I was sweating like crazy. I was freaking out. Anabelle stayed calm, cool, and collected- touched up my makeup and went above and beyond to wipe me down all over (including my really gross and sweaty legs!) while we were standing outside for 30 minutes doing photos. When I went into the park for my first look she was the only one who came with me other than the photographer. Anabelle could sense that I was nervous and overwhelmed and she was really there for me not just as a makeup artist or someone I hired but as a true friend. I am so glad that I hired Anabelle, she is truly the best!

Anabelle was beyond amazing to work with. It's hard to find a person who is not just professional but is also pleasant to be around on the most important day of your life. Anabelle was all of that and more. She listened and worked with me on make up ideas and everything came out perfect! And brides remember, it's fine to know what you want but you gotta listen to make up artist's opinion. I listened to Anabelle and my make up stayed flawless all day long! (Besides wedding ceremony and reception we had 2,5 hour photo shoot in the park, in 86 degree weather!)

Anabelle is an amazing choice – from the trial to the wedding day I could not be more pleased.

She was extremely flexible and responsive to my schedule as well as my mother’s when my makeup trial was scheduled for the Saturday that snowstorm Juno hit the New York city last winter. Since my mother was leaving for Florida the next week and I wanted my mother to be able to come to the trial, Anabelle was able to squeeze me in on Friday night before the storm hit on Saturday and before my mom left for her trip. Her flexibility and ability to fit me in at such short notice was exceptional. She was very professional at the trial and we took several pictures to remember the look for the wedding. We discussed one change of a more neutral, earthy hue rather than pink hue on the eyes.

And when the wedding day came, WOW! The eyes were absolutely gorgeous and I couldn’t have been happier. The makeup was so natural, light and of course, stunning. I bought the lip color to reapply throughout day and I also got quite a bit of use out of it on my honeymoon. The makeup held up in the heat of our summer outdoor wedding and people kept asking me how my makeup was lasting!

Anabelle’s team was very professional. Anabelle, and two others, completed makeup for mom, aunt, 6 bridesmaids, a flower girl and myself in 2 hours and ran perfectly on time. Anabelle was a pleasure to work with and will be an excellent choice.

Anabelle is simply fantastic. I've now worked with her twice. I'm a stand-up comedian and I had a very important show that was going to be taped and needed someone who knew how to do makeup for the stage (under lights) that would also translate well for photos and video. I sent Anabelle a previous tape and a few photos so she had a sense of my look and she made me absolutely gorgeous while making sure I still looked like me- just me on my absolute BEST day. Not only is she supremely skilled but she is a total pro from start to finish - reliable, punctual, responsive, positive, polished. I then worked with her again on the morning of my baby shower brunch. I cannot begin to tell you how fantastic it is to have Anabelle do your makeup when you're seven months pregnant and not feeling your best! I was exhausted with puffy eyes when I woke up and you would never know it after Anabelle was done with me. I cannot recommend her enough. Anabelle recently did the makeup for my daughters wedding. I can honestly say she was amazing from start to finish!! My daughter had 12 bridesmaids in her wedding party so there was a lot of coordination required between Anabelle and the hair stylists. Thankfully, Anabelle was there to take charge, scheduling everyone so that there was a timely flow. But more importantly Anabelle did a perfect and beautiful job on everyones makeup!! The Bride looked absolutely gorgeous and so natural. Everyone loved our makeup. It looked great both in person and in the pictures. It was a pleasure having Anabelle as my makeup artist on my wedding day. I first met Anabelle when she was glamming up my best friend Stacey for her wedding, nearly a year before my own. While I had originally opted to do my own makeup that day, I quickly changed my mind after watching Anabelle work her magic. After receiving multiple compliments on my makeup at Stacey's wedding, I knew I had to hire Anabelle for my own big day. From working with me on my budget to making herself available to do my trial on the day of my bridal shower, to putting together a detailed schedule for my wedding day, Anabelle was extremely accommodating and professional throughout the entire process. My wedding day makeup came out absolutely amazing, and the girls in my bridal party who opted to have their makeup done by Anabelle were all very pleased with how their looks turned out as well. Aside from being a fabulous makeup artist, Anabelle is simply a great, fun person to be around. Anabelle did my makeup, as well as my mother, mother in law, sister, sister in law, and aunt for my wedding. All of us couldn't be happier with our results! She chose colors and product that worked perfectly with our coloring and skin type. I loved the lip color she used so much during my trial that I purchased it for my wedding! She is a true makeup professional and has made me feel more beautiful than I have ever felt before. There truly are not sufficient words to express my gratitude to Anabelle for her incredible work. Anabelle did my makeup for my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner and wedding (she and her colleague also did my bridesmaids' makeup for the wedding) - I truly never felt more beautiful in my life. She enhanced my natural look so that I still felt like myself and I really enjoyed spending time with her. Anabelle is a magician of beauty. I was a bit worried about my make-up so when my husband found her it was a little miracle! She is so sensitive, professional and just brilliant with the brush. Anabelle is a superbly talented make-up artist. She had first done my make-up a few years back for my sisters wedding. I absolutely loved it, so when it came time for my own wedding...I knew just who to call. I booked right away for myself, my two sisters, and my mother.
Anabelle really listens when you describe what you want. I wanted to look "glam", without looking overly made-up. The airbrushing was flawless! It matched my skin tone perfectly and had a dewy finish. I wanted my eyes to be the main focus...and they were! Anabelle created a gorgeous smoky brown eye with tons of lashes! The individual lashes that she used looked both natural and glam! (such a difference from the strips of lashes I had used in the past).
My main concern was that we were scheduled to start make-up super early in the morning, and the wedding wasn't going to be until 8 pm....the photos weren't even scheduled until 4ish. I was worried that with the June humidity, my make-up would melt. It seriously did not budge all night long! (I'm embarrassed to say that I actually passed out that night around 4am with my make-up still on! I know that's a big no-no...but when I woke up, it was still perfect!)
I couldn't have been happier with my wedding day make-up! My family and friends will continue to turn to Anabelle for all our major events!

If you are looking for a sure thing book Anabelle LaGuardia to do your makeup for your wedding. I actually met Anabelle in 2009 when I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding --Anabelle did my makeup and I was so happy with it then, that when I got engaged five years later, I immediately booked her. I'm lucky I did because her work has only gotten better. Not only is she EXTREMELY TALENTED with many years of experience but she is also calm, kind, patient, reliable, and flexible. I really cannot say enough good things about her. During your makeup trial she will honor your preferences but, without being pushy, will be honest with you if she thinks something needs adjusting and is good at explaining why. Trust her because she really has an eye and knows what will work on you. On your wedding day the getting ready process will be a breeze if she is there and most importantly you will look and feel stunning. She books quickly so don't wait too long to contact her!

Anabelle was referred to me by two friends, independent of one another. She was great! I couldn't have asked for anyone better to do my wedding make up. She was quick to respond any question I had, was easy to talk with, listened to me (unlike my florist) and I didn't feel pushed to do anything that wasn't me. I had an amazing experience with Anabelle. When she did our makeup for my sister-in-law's wedding, I knew I had to hire her for my wedding. Anabelle does a consultation with you before your wedding, and in my case, she did my consultation for my bridal shower. My makeup at my shower came out really great and worked well with my look that day. From the day you first speak to her until long after your wedding, Anabelle is extremely professional and organized. She contacted me before the wedding in order to put together a makeup schedule for my entire bridal party and was sensitive to all of our crazy scheduling requests. She showed up on time and knows exactly how much time she requires given the number of people. She will discuss with you exactly what you want your look to be and will do the same for your entire bridal party. She also works well with other hired stylists (i.e: hairstylists). Anabelle's assistant Hope was just as great and made all of my bridesmaids look beautiful. She used both airbrush and regular makeup on us and adapted what she used based on each girl's skin type. One of the best things about Anabelle is that leaving her makeup chair doesn't mean she's finished with you. She's willing to touch you up as much as you request and if you pay a little extra, she'll follow you around during your photos up until the ceremony in order to do touch-ups. This was pivotal given the fact that we took photos outside and my wedding day was probably one of the most humid days of the summer. My makeup stayed on the entire night and I had zero issues, which was a small miracle given how sensitive my skin typically is. I would highly recommend Anabelle.

I have used Annabelle for a couple of occasions now . From the first time I used her for one of my best friends weddings I knew when I was to get married I found my girl . I chose Anabelle as my wedding makeup artist because of her personality as well as her talent. She is easy to work with and able to go with the flow, which is really important on what can be a stressful day. Her work is professional and beautiful, and she helps you make flattering choices, even if you don't happen to know a lot about makeup. I had decided to have a makeup trial before my actual wedding day and loved the look from the trial. However, between the trial and the wedding day, I changed my mind about what I wanted, and decided to tone down the look a little bit, since I was being married on a Sunday afternoon. I did not schedule another trial, but I communicated the changes I wanted to Anabelle via email. On my wedding day, Anabelle did exactly what I wanted. I was thrilled with the look. it was natural and beautiful, and even made me look younger! I want to add that I had food poisoning three days before my wedding, and thanks to the amazing makeup job, you couldn't even tell. My mom and bridesmaids were also very happy with their makeup. I was lucky enough to have been recommended Anabelle for my wedding day makeup by a friend. I am so thrilled that she was part of my big day. From the moment I met her at my trial her professionalism and talent was apparent. I can't say enough good things about Anabelle. She did the makeup for my sisters wedding so when I got engaged I knew just who to hire. She did my makeup as well as my 5 bridesmaids and my mother. Not only did she get everyone done on time, everyone looked fabulous! My bridesmaids all look like models with flawless faces. Anabelle was not only easy to work with on the day of my wedding but she was fantastic to work with in the days leading up to my wedding. Very organized and a true artist. Highly recommend! My makeup lasted all night long and I felt amazing thanks to her!

Anabelle was absolutely amazing!!! She did a perfect job with my makeup, it was exactly what I hoped for and so much more! I couldn't be happier with her work. She made my eyes beautiful, my skin flawless and gave me a beautiful glow....and I still looked like myself and felt natural. The makeup looked incredible in pictures and best of all, not only did it last all night, but it looked perfect the next morning and I didn't have to touch it for brunch :)

Anabelle is talented and gifted and above all, such a sweet, kind and patient person - it was a pleasure spending my day with her! She is the best!!

Anabelle is an experienced and talented make up artist. She accommodated all of the requests and needs of my bridal party with ease. Several of my friends never wear make-up and wanted very natural looking enhancement. Anabelle delivered. Others wanted dramatic bold looks, also delivered. My makeup was also fabulous. We had done a trial and she incorporated my few requests and modifications no problem. In addition to providing excellent quality service in terms of makeup application, she demonstrated a high level of professionalism working with my other vendors. She was organized and flexible on scheduling. She was able to work on my make up at the same time as my hair stylist was working on my hair when it turned out he needed more time to do that. Finally, Anabelle has a charming and calm personality, just the right kind of person to have with you on a hectic day. She is go with the flow and just a joy to be around.

As the mother of the bride, I have nothing but extremely positive things to say about Anabelle LaGuardia. My first impression of Anabelle was how timely and efficient she was; always responding to my phone calls, emails very quickly. During our first interaction, we spoke on the phone for close to an hour going over each detail in the process. By the end of the conversation, she had answered all of my questions, addressed all of my concerns, and I knew exactly what to expect for the bride, and the other 11 ladies who were having their makeup done. She did an absolutely wonderful job. She and her assistant Hope arrived right on time and ready to go. She kept on time and worked hard while she was there. She listened to what each person wanted and made sure they all felt great! Everyone looked absolutely amazing. She is so passionate about her business/profession as a makeup artist as well as her brides and the whole wedding party. Watching Anabelle at work, doing what she loves best, is like watching an artist create a masterpiece! Her infectious, upbeat personality make her a pleasure to work with. I am so thankful we had Anabelle do everyone's makeup. We have gotten some of our preview pictures back and everyone looks great! The makeup looks beautiful, shows the day was special, but no one looks "overdone" with makeup. It looks perfect. I would recommend her to anyone!

I used Anabelle long before my wedding and each time I have fallen more in love with her work then the last time. I was referred to Anabelle by a friend and could not have been more pleased! She is not only a talented makeup artist but she is also professional and accommodating, qualities which help make the bridal experience that much more enjoyable! With Hope's help our bridal party, mothers, and grandmothers looked fabulous and their makeup lasted all night! She even stayed until minutes before we walked down the aisle, making sure everyone was perfect. Let me start off by saying that Anabelle is an incredible makeup artist. That being said, I was looking on Facebook at my friend photos from their wedding day and I fell in love with the way a friend of mine had her makeup done. She recommended Anabelle and told me that I would be beyond happy with the results. Thank god I stumbled upon those pictures because she was everything I could've hoped for in a makeup artist. Both my friends and family were extremely happy with their makeup on the day of my wedding. I surprised Anabelle with a picture from a magazine of what I wanted my makeup to look like that day and she was able to pull it off perfectly. She went above and beyond to make me look perfect and exactly how I wanted. Not only that, my makeup lasted the entire night!!! I will 100% use her again for a special event and have since recommended her to many of my friends for their special day. She is the best!!!

I cannot possibly recommend Anabelle highly enough! She is amazing. From day 1, she was incredibly responsive and prompt, and that carried all the way through the day-of -- she was either on-time or ahead of the schedule she'd provided for the entire day.

As for the makeup itself -- fantastic. I had 5 bridesmaids of 3 different races, and she made every single one of them look perfect without missing a beat. They all looked beautiful, from the moment the makeup went on through the afterparty. My own makeup looked amazing and stayed on all night.

After getting engaged, I started researching make- up artists right away. I came across the reviews for Anabelle. 5 stars across the board WOW. Equally as important was what the brides said about Anabelle's kindness and professionalism. I am the type that needs to feel comfortable right away and needs to know that my day is important to the vendors I chose. In the fall, my fiance and I scheduled our engagement photo shoot in Central park and decided I would do my trial with Anabelle that day. Anabelle responded to my inquiry to set up my trial RIGHT AWAY! The big day came and after just a few minutes with Anabelle, I could tell that she "got me." She understood what I was looking for and worked her magic. I was thrilled with my make- up and my fiance was too. He's a tough critic! On that note, Anabelle TRULY wants you to love your make up and is willing and happy to make any adjustments you may want and does NOT make you feel awkward about it. It's a once in a lifetime day and she wants you to feel perfect! Needless to say, Anabelle was my choice for our wedding and it was an easy decision! From the time I first booked Anabelle, she was so professional, committed and engaging. She even took the reigns to coordinate all my girls between her and my hair stylist! One less thing the bride had to do! The day of the wedding was executed flawlessly and Anabelle made each and every one of us beautiful. I think it was 8 in total! All by herself! These are not easy woman to please! Our guests used words such as "Stunning" and "Radiant" so often! Even after a VERY long day Anabelle headed over to my venue through the streets of Manhattan to touch me up after my photos! My make up stayed perfectly through out all the hugs, kisses and dancing the night away! If you are looking for a make up artists with incredible talent, a smile on her face and that truly cares about you as a bride, Anabelle is perfect for you. I will continue to use Anabelle for many years to come!

I highly recommend Anabelle! She did an amazing job for me on my wedding day. My makeup was flawless and exactly the look I wanted. I was even able to keep my fake lashes for two full days. I felt very comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. Anabelle was great to work with: very responsive prior to my wedding day, punctual the day of, and flexible enough to squeeze my sister in when she decided to have her makeup done at the last minute. Anabelle is an absolutely amazing artist who paints masterpieces on the palate that is the face. She worked with myself and 14 other faces on my wedding day and created each to be more flawless than the next. I thoroughly recommend Anabelle LaGuardia for make-up, she's brilliant! I had a practice run, which I would highly recommend. She listened to all my comments and recommended colors based on a look that I wanted to achieve, and that she knew would look great. Her products and colors were the best.

She was extremely professional in putting together a schedule on the actual day, and arrived right on time. She was relaxed, professional and cool to hang out with.;

Most importantly, my make-up looked fresh, bright, uplifting, clean, really beautiful, and lasted throughout the night. I looked like me at my absolute best.

Anabelle did my makeup for both my engagment party and wedding. Both were held at upscale venues so I didn't want to look over done or get that shiny face look that we ladies sometimes get in pictures. Anabelle took her time and took her work seriously. I have very sensitive eyes and her eye make up did not irritate me. On my wedding day I got a huge pimple that was raised - i wanted to cry - she was able to cover it up and I can't even see it in my pictures. Best part is that she left my mom ( who doesn't speak English ) speechless. My mother always finds something wrong in people's work but Anabelle nailed it . I kept her all day / night, she did touch ups during photos , before cermony , after cermony. I cried during the chuppah and def needed a touch up. If you can afford to keep her around all day - do so, you won't regret it

Anabelle LaGuardia. I don't know where to start on how amazing you are. I read amazing reviews and booked my trial right away. I had my first and ONLY trial for my wedding.
When you first meet Anabelle you feel like you've been friends forever. She listens to what you want and is super accommodating. During my trial she just made me feel so comfortable . I came home and showed my husband and that's when I knew she NAILED it!! I couldn't wait for her to do my makeup the day of my wedding.
I had Anabelle until my ceremony started. She was with me and my bridal party for 9 hours!!! She was so calm during my pictures with my bridal party..touching us up throughout the day until the moment I walked down the aisle. We all felt like movie stars!!!
She is such a sweetheart with a calming presence and puts you at ease.
Anabelle is also very reliable. She keeps in contact with you up until your wedding day, arrives early, and of course makes you look BEAUTIFUL!!!

I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day and Anabelle was definitely a huge help! I had a really hard time deciding on make up because I rarely wear any. I had two trials with another company before Anabelle and I was left disappointed. I felt like I was wearing too much. It seemed unnatural and uncomfortable. One of my bridesmaids recommended Anabelle and I'm really glad I took my friend's advice!

My wedding day make up was exactly what I wanted and didn't look overdone. I felt confident and beautiful and my make up lasted all day! Anabelle also did make up for my sister and mother. She really made my sister,(my Maid of Honor) feel pretty and helped calm her nerves. Even my husband commented on our make up and that's not something he normally pays attention to. He said he knew he was in trouble when he saw how good my sister looked, so he was really going to cry when he saw me all done up and walking down the aisle for the first time!

I rarely give a five star review for anything, be it services or a restaurant, but Anabelle was absolutely phenomenal. I was married the weekend after Hurricane Sandy at a venue on Long Island which had lost power, subsequently leaving us to get ready in the freezing cold.

Anabelle worked her magic on my bridesmaids and my mom, making us all feel beautiful - even though most of us had been without power and were exhausted. The bags under our eyes were invisible by the time that she was done with us - no easy feat, and we all look fantastic.

Anabelle is worth her weight in gold, and I would recommend her a million times over.

Anabelle was fantastic ! I am pretty much a pain in the ass when it comes to makeup.. I had 2 trials before Anabelle and was pretty disappointed. I then contacted Anabelle and she got the look I was going for immediately ! She is truly talented at her craft, kind and professional. Anabelle did an incredible job on my wedding makeup. She was great to work with, and was open to any adjustments I wanted to make after our trial. She wants everyone to be happy with the way they look, and she definitely achieved that. Anabelle, along with Hope, also did the makeup for my bridal party, and everyone not only looked beautiful, but felt beautiful. She has a very natural approach, and enhances each person's features. She definitely does not overdo it, and makes you look like a better version of yourself. The eyelashes and airbrushing are amazing!!! Anabelle was also very easy to communicate with through email during the time leading up to my wedding. I have already recommended her and will continue to give her information to other brides!

Anabelle is fantastic! She did my make-up and the make-up for my sister and mother for my October wedding. We didn't have time for a trial, but I felt totally at ease with Anabelle. The make-up was beautiful and very natural. She is not only an incredibly talented make-up artist, but a great person. I could not have been happier with the services that Anabelle provided for my wedding. Anabelle was extremely professional and responsive throughout the process of trials, preparation and the day of which helped lower my stress levels significantly! Not to mention that everyone looked spectacular in my bridal party, from my grandmother-in-law to my maid of honor. I can\'t say enough good things about Anabelle. She did the makeup for myself, my mom, 3 bridesmaids, and my rabbi for my wedding on 5/12/12. Everyone looked stunning! Anabelle LaGuardia was the makeup artist for my daughter's wedding on May 5th 2012. The wedding party was large. There were 9 bridesmaids and 2 junior bridesmaid and the bride and the mother of the bride(me) so she did bring an assistant. Anabelle took care of me, the maid of honor and the bride. Everything worked calmly and with utter professionalism. My daughter never in her life looked as beautiful as she did that day. She never wears makeup so I was a bit worried. Anabelle did just the right amount and I will cherish the wedding pictures forever. I highly recommend her.

Anabelle was the makeup artist for my wedding on March 24th and she was absolutely amazing. She and another artist (who she brought) were able to get all of us ready ahead of schedule, and brought such a calming effect to the entire day. Anabelle was amazing at listening to exactly what I wanted, and I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Everyones makeup was perfect throughout the entire day and night and I've received a million compliments on how beautiful my entire bridal party and my makeup was. AMAZING!!! My wedding makeup was breathtaking. Anabelle has such talent, along with professionalism. She is the only one I would trust to do my makeup on such an important day. She listens to the wants of her clients while combining her expertise. The makeup feels so natural and light, lasting all night without any touch-ups! I never once worried about the timing or organization of makeup for my wedding day. Anabelle seamlessly coordinated makeup for my six bridesmaids, mother, and myself. Anabelle is the best! She's the sweetest, most accommodating, and a true artist. Her technique leaves you looking like the most beautiful version of yourself, not overdone. Unlike some other makeup artists, she applies individual lashes which makes a big difference in comfort and appearance, and if you have a preference that may not have been her first choice, she'll still deliver. Anabelle helped me, my mom, and two bridesmaids look flawless on my wedding day! Our looks lasted from early in the morning to early the next morning for the after party! I hope I have an occasion to call her and get so dolled up again. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Anabelle did my makeup for my wedding, along with my mom's and my sister's. We were a range of ages (obviously) but also have very different coloring and styles. She really nailed the look I was going for after one trial and was able to make my mom and sister look great on the first try. She was so responsive and proactive that I never worried once about her showing up on time and being anything other than a professional.
One thing I did not think about until that morning was how important it is to get along with your vendors. You spend a lot of time with them at a very stressful, emotional time. Anabelle has a great attitude and is positive in a very genuine way. It was a pleasure to have her there in the middle of the whirlwind.
