My Wife and I contacted Major Events after being referred by a friend. From our first meeting, Andrea took all of our ideas, and made them even better. A day we will never forget
Andrea and her team went above and beyond from day 1. From helping us find our dream location to choosing the right vendors the whole experience was seamless. She wasn’t just our wedding planner she became a part of the family. Fun, knowledgeable, and beyond talented she exceeded every expectation. Our only complaint is it that everything went by too quickly. Would highly recommend Andrea and her outstanding staff.-

Andrea was absolutely amazing to work with and she completely made my vision come to life. I don’t think there was a single thing that I wanted in my wedding that she wasn’t able to perform. All the team members were happy, energized and overall I delight to be with. I would recommend Major Events to anyone planning a wedding or special party.-

Incredible work, 10/10!
Mishae was my point of contact for our event. From the start, she was bubbly, outgoing and knew exactly the vision I had for our company holiday party. We touched base for a few weeks before the event, but I knew Major Events had it under control. On the day of our event, Andrea, Mishae and a few other team members showed up promptly at the time I had requested and were very well organized. I had requested two Christmas trees, which were decorated even more beautifully than I could have imagined, 38 table number frames, poinsettias, and gorgeous centerpieces made from real greenery and floating candles. The team was there right on time post-event to clean up and moved very quickly. Our event turned out excellent and we will recommend this company every single time! -

Mishae and the whole Major Events team helped me plan my dream wedding!! Mishae brought all my ideas to reality and kept me calm, cool, and collected. If you have ever met Jamie, you know she is a truly genuine human being. I'd like to also call her my friend :) Being a bride in the industry my first thought was that I could do it all myself. Until I realized that is just completely impossible. The last thing I wanted to do is ask my family for help as well. I immediately picked up the phone and called Jamie who was thrilled to help! I had Jamie help me plan everything and the experience was very fun and professional. I enjoyed that it wasn't "cookie cutter" & I could customize how much I wanted them to help and rent. Jamie was so helpful with vendor lists, ideas, & just support. I highly recommend a wedding planner- whether it's a small or big wedding, it makes the experience special with your family and friends and takes the stress off you! Thank you, Jamie!! :) -

Andrea Major is an incredible designer and wedding coordinator! I don't know what we would have done without her. Ant bride who doesn't have Major Eventd managing their wedding is missing out and risking spending a lot of money for a night that is only guaranteed to be a success with someone like Andrea and her team coordinating and keeping the event running smoothly and beautifully -

We hired Major Events for our outdoor wedding reception 6/18/16 and worked directly with Andrea and Neita. We met with both the week prior of wedding and they helped us stay organized and prepared to have all the day of wedding essentials together. There are no words to describe what I felt showing up at our reception. It was flawless. I remember how overwhelming It was for me, trying to look at every single detail and making sure my memory would retain images of the set up. It was like looking at a fa cover of a wedding magazine. It was truly beautifully put together and the boquets were just as I wanted. Major events and their team went above and beyond and I couldn't have imagined it any better and our guests talked about it for days afterwards. When my husband and I were finally able to sit at our table, Neita catered to us and the entire bridal party which made us all feel super special and important. When major events told us "you won't have to worry about a thing the day of" they definitely meant exactly that. Thank you Major events for making our reception an evening to remember. -

Andrea is amazing! She went beyond what she needed to make sure our day was special. I had the most beautiful wedding I could have asked for! Her staff was amazing as well (Bianca I think her name was) Made me feel so comfortable and less stressed, the entire time! I had no worries the entire day! Andrea took care of EVERYTHING! All the vendors, decor, and even my left over cake and food after the wedding was over! She also did my flowers, which couldn't have been more perfect! Thank you MAJOR EVENTS, AND ANDREA. -

We are so happy we went with Major Events. They were professional, and did such an amazing job! They did our Decor, Flowers, and Day of Coordination. Our day went smoothly and everything was so beautiful. It was better than We could have imagined. There were so many little details that we loved. Major Events gave my husband and I the wedding of our dreams. We gave her what budget we could afford, the ideas we were looking for and had in mind and they turned all of those things into sometimes incredibly beautiful that even still weeks later people are raving about. Everybody was so friendly to work with and be around, they made the entire process and the entire big day so fun. From the decorations, the flowers to just the simple little details, couldn't have asked for anybody else to do it. Thank you so much! I have absolutely thrown Major Events' name out there so many times spreading the word!!!!

I cannot say enough about Andrea and the Major Events team. Hiring them was by far the best decision we made. We live in Las Vegas but chose to get married in Boise. I wasn't sure how that was going to turn out not being there to deal with everything first hand. But start to finish, no matter what it was, Andrea had it handled. Each time I called, texted, or emailed she got right back to me and I never felt like I wasn't being attended to or that she didn't have her finger on the pulse of what was going on with our wedding. That alone to me is worth its weight in gold! The vendors she suggested were amazing to work with, the food was TO DIE FOR and together with the Major Events team they pulled off our vision for a vintage, unique, elegant and flawless wedding and reception. I can honestly say there was not one thing all night that I thought, "oh well, I guess everything can't be perfect." From the flowers (which were stunning!!), to the decor (which was our own unique design that she made happen and pulled off beautifully), the food, the staff and the ease of it all, it literally was the perfect night that far exceeding our expectations. Again, I could go on and on. Absolutely phenomenal! -

Andrea, from Major Events was great to work with. Not living in the Boise area and only being able to get back to the area a couple times before our wedding, Andrea was gracious enough to meet us Christmas Eve at her home! She had wonderful ideas and was open to my suggestions as well. She helped put exactly I was looking for into a cohesive theme. Serious kudos to Andrea as our reception area was a big, blank slate. She made the room beautiful. The head table was the highlight of the night. All of our guests were thoroughly impressed. She also did our ceremony and that was gorgeous as well. I can't say enough good things about her decorating and flower arranging skills. All of the center pieces, bouquets, etc. were perfect. Not only did she do a great job with all of the above she was super helpful in working with our budget. I would recommend Andrea to anyone getting married or needing a space decorated! -

We had Major Events decorate my son's wedding reception in Boise, Idaho. We live in Idaho Falls and it is 4 hours away. All the planning was done over the phone but they helped make it so easy. Jamie was the main person I talked with and she was always so polite and professional. She was good at suggestions and willing to change things when I wanted to. The room looked beautiful and so eloquent!!!!!!!!!! I can't say enough good things about this company. -

Where do I begin?! Andrea with Major Events is the best out there! She can pull any vision together whether big or small, down to the very last detail. The reason my wedding went off without any worries was due to Andrea and her staff. They made sure all details of our special day were in place, including all my special decorations I made for our day. From setting up all wedding decor, day-of-coordination and complete take down of the venue, my husband, family and I had nothing to worry about!!!
Andrea has a vision for decoration that is hard to find. She took a vision I had and made my dream come true. She is not afraid to try anything that is new or out of the box, which makes her awesome to work with. She is very understanding and will listen to all the ideas one has for their big day.
As weddings can be expensive, Andrea is great to work with every bride on every budget! She does not have a minimum amount you have to spend with her, which was a huge plus in our book. She took our budget and let us work around making our day beautiful with the money we had allotted to spend. My favorite part of our decorations were the many chandeliers we had hanging throughout our ceremony and reception. If you are looking for chandeliers for you day, Andrea has many sizes to choose from.
On top of wedding decor, Major Events does flowers of all kinds. WOW, is all I can say! My bouquet was so beautiful. She took my flowers and made an amazing bouquet I will always remember.
From one bride to another, the biggest relief on your wedding day is knowing you can trust someone to make the day go off with a bang. Having someone set-up and take-down the venue, while coordinating your vendors and wedding day timeline was the best money we spent on our wedding day. Day of coordination and set-up/take-down is a must! I trusted Andrea and her coordinators to make our day seamless. Our wedding turned out beautiful thanks to Andrea and the Major Events staff!

Andrea with Major Events gave my husband and I the perfect wedding. Everything was planned to the last detail. Not only did Major Events provide our flowers, ceremony and reception decor, lighting, table and chair rentals, wedding favors, as well as day of coordination, but they also recommended and worked closely with our other great vendors in order to make sure everything came together smoothly on our big day. I couldn't recommend a company more highly. Andrea was professional, detail oriented, and she knew exactly what we were looking for even if we weren't completely sure ourselves. She has an eye for flare and definitely created the wedding of our dreams. Thank you Andrea and everyone at Major Events for giving us a day that we will remember and cherish all our lives. -

A friend and I went to a wedding show hoping to get some ideas and we noticed Major Events almost right after arriving there.
Her décor and concept stood out because it was so much more stunning than the other vendors at the show. I had contacted different vendors for linens and when describing what I was looking for they not only did not have it but they did not believe that it existed and asked where I had seen them. I had not seen them- it was just a vision that I had- but on my first apt with Andrea and describing what I was looking for- she had the exact linens and chandeliers to create the concept. She understood what I was looking for- and when I didn't know what to do- or had not considered a certain part of the day- she had great suggestions that fit in flawlessly.
Andrea worked very hard to create the day that we had imagined. We could no have done it without Andrea and her great team. Thank you! -

My mom and I found Andrea at a wedding show in Boise and I was looking for something so unique for my wedding that not a lot of people around town could help me with...but Andrea had exactly what I was looking for AND MORE. At our first meeting I had so many ideas running through my head that it wasn't making a lot of sense to me but Andrea made everything so clear and put all of my ideas into a vision. She saw exactly what I was envisioning and executed it PERFECTLY. When I walked into my wedding venue it was completely transformed from a barn into a beautiful, elegant and romantic venue. She was also our wedding day coordinator so she helped make our itinerary, kept everything on schedule, dealt with all of our vendors, and literally took over everything. I couldn't have asked for a better day-of coordinator or decorator. Everything was priced reasonably and within budget. A HUGE thank you to Andrea and her staff. They made our wedding day so amazingly special and unforgettable in the best way possible.

I was nervous about not being able to see the reception before the guests to make sure everything was perfect, but she calmed me and everything was so beautiful! Better then what I imagined. Her and her team were so calm with everything, the didn't let us see their stress at all, if they were even stressed. Andrea did an amazing job!! She was very friendly and nice to work with. The way they decorated mine and my husbands wedding was absolutely breathtaking. It was more than what he or I had imagined. Dear Brides,
Andrea with Major Events made our wedding day a DREAM COME TRUE!! She is absolutely AMAZING. She is so talented, creative, helpful, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend her and her staff to any bride out there looking for a wedding planner/decorator/florist.
Words can't describe how thankful my husband and I are that we had Andrea by our side through the whole wedding planning process. Wedding planning can often be very stressful, however having Andrea, it was a huge relief. She went above and beyond to help us in any way she could. She took all of the decor ideas I had envisioned for our reception and ceremony and the end product was beyond my expectations. Our reception was spectacular - it was PICTURE PERFECT. Andrea and her staff made sure that every little detail of our decor was flawless!!!
Major Events also put together all of my flowers - my bride and bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnières, reception centerpieces, ceremony flowers, and cake flowers . I was blown away by how gorgeous and elegant all the flower arrangements turned out. It was exactly what I had envisioned but only better!!! Andrea put together some tall centerpieces for our reception that were absolutely breathtaking!!! They looked like something straight out of a wedding magazine - just stunning!!!
Along with my decor and flowers I also used Major Events for my day of coordination. Andrea coordinated our entire reception and made sure that the night went as planned and without a hitch. We didn't have to worry about a single thing during our reception. My husband and I danced the night away and mingled with guest while Andrea made sure that everything was taken care.
Every girl dreams of having that perfect wedding and mine was exactly that THANKS to Andrea and her staff!

Hiring Andrea at Major Events was the best money spent on our daughter's wedding. Her ideas were practical and fabulous (she made my backyard a wonderland), she was very thorough and professional, and day-of coordination let me enjoy the day instead of worrying over details that she clearly had covered. Her team was friendly and hard-working, and we just can't say enough about how wonderful it was working with them, all the way to the end. We are still hearing about the "best wedding I ever attended" from friends and family...thanks, Andrea, for making that happen! -

I hired Andrea Major of Major Events as my wedding decorator. The task was non-traditional, as I had bought al my own decorations and went through her for rentals and to set-up and take-down my items.. She was very cost efficient, extremely easy to work with, and did a beautiful job improvising. I would recommend her to anyone needing a decorator with no hesitation. -

Andrea Major with Major Events is awesome! She kepted us calm. Major Events decorated a tent in 65 miles per hour winds. When the power went out Andrea was calm and had a new plan in mind to calmly present to us. When our power was out for 2 hours. Andrea took our reception food and made sure it was cooked and kept at a safe temperature for the reception. When the power was restored she had decorated for the reception on time. It looked beautiful. Major Events even took in consideration to add floating candles just in case the power went out again. We had a wonderful celebration. All Andrea's suggestions were a big hit. The food, decorations, wedding flowers and how many tables and chairs etc. Major Events can save you money in the long run if you follow their suggestions. Andrea will help make your wedding extra special. She also has great suggestions for birthday parties and proms. I have called her about both and she really will keep to your budget. -

Hiring Andrea with Major Events was the best money that was spent for our wedding and reception. While I had hired vendors and made some decorations, she brought it all together into a real event. She decorated, made a timeline for the day and coordinated all of the vendors on the day of the wedding so that everything ran smoothly. I was amazed how stress-free the wedding day was for me!! Andrea did an amazing job and we received tons of compliments on how beautiful the reception was. -

Andrea Major and her team are first class all the way. You tell Andrea what you want and you can tell she immediately gets your vision, I felt like she could read my mind and see what I envisioned!! But seriously, they are all very professional and make your day SO flawless. I would never suggest having a wedding without them, I just don't know even how it could be done! My day was so flawless and stress free, I just can't even describe the feeling besides being on cloud 9, I'm not sure if I would have felt like that without Major Events! The one stop shop experience and resources makes life and the experience so worth the money. Speaking of money, you think a coordinator is out of reach for an affordable, budgeted wedding, you are wrong! Major Events can work with every budget, big or small!
Trust me, as a past bride who did ALL the research possible, just hire Major Events and never look back!! -

Andrea at Major Events was exactly what we needed for the wedding celebration we had at our home. She allowed us to completely customize what we wanted to use her for and what we wanted to do ourselves even as those needs evolved over the months of planning. As the date got closer we could see that the weather was going to be less than ideal and Andrea, her vendors and team were able to quickly adjust by making our large, rented canopy into a fully enclosed, lit and heated tent that was so comfortable for our family and guests. We had such a wonderful party! Thanks Andrea and Major Events! -

Major Events did a fabulous job with the decor and flowers for my daughter's reception and wedding bouquet. My daughter's biggest wish was to transform a church gym into something elegant and to make it unrecognizable as a gym. They did a fabulous job and created a beautiful ambiance for us to enjoy! We received many compliments and were thrilled with the results. Andrea is very flexible and easy to work with. I recommend them for any event you are planning, you will not have any regrets! -

We used Major Events for our wedding at the Basque Center in April 2013 for the following services:
• Drapery of fabric panels & lights across the ceiling
• Design and setup of backdrop for head table
• Corsages and boutineers
• Rental of chairs, table cloths, table runners, napkins, fabric panels, & tables
I live out of state so I was a little nervous about planning and communication from a distance. However, Andrea worked with my schedule to meet both in person and via email/phone. Andrea provided insight and photos as to what she had seen/done in that venue as well as other venues where brides were trying to achieve a similar look. The following are the primary reasons I would recommend Major Events:
• Willing to do as much or as little as we wanted- Other services in town have minimum order requirements. We did a lot of decorating ourselves to this was a huge plus
• Arrived on time on the day of the event to setup and picked up all items on schedule
• Rental items were clean and organized
• Competitive prices- we were thinking of using a larger rental service in Boise that does not do decorating, and we were surprised to learn Major Events prices were lower or equal to that company.

Andrea did an amazing job with the flowers. We gave her a picture and the bouquets and table decor couldn't have been more beautiful! Jamie was our coordinator for the day. Professional, helpful, creative, friendly....I couldn't have asked for a better person to help us make the day more perfect. She kept the stress down, was behind the scenes but got the job done from start to finish. Thanks you two for a wonderful day and experience! -

Major Events helped to make my daughter's reception amazing! Some comments we heard from guests were: 'that was a reception out of Hollywood,' 'that was the reception of the decade!,' 'that was the most beautiful reception we've been to!' Expected more for what I paid for. I personally felt like the service and decorations did not match the cost. Also, getting a hold of the vendor was very difficult at times; it took a long time to hear back from the office. -

If you don't mind not knowing what it will look like before hand it works. If you don't mind feeling pressured to use only them to coordinate your event. I had high hopes and may have been satisfied until being treated poorly the night of our wedding. We were treated as if we planned not pay for our event. The method, approach, and timing was in extremely poor taste. -

We hired Andrea and her team for our September wedding. I was expecting more for the amount of money we spent. We didn't get to see any of the decorations in person prior to the wedding like we were initially promised. It was difficult to get a response from her throughout the preparations. She committed to setting up the decorations the day before our rehearsal so we can look at them. She didn't do that. We didn't find out that she wasn't going to have the decorations ready when we showed up for the rehearsal. She didn't contact us and let us know and when we called her asking about it, she said she would work on it during the rehearsal. She didn't show and we couldn't continue waiting on her because we had to leave for our rehearsal dinner. A few of her staff were there but none of them knew what they were suppose to be doing and said that Andrea would be there to help them. The next day was our wedding and the first time I saw the decorations. I was so disappointed. I expected more. She committed to bringing all of the flowers and boutonnieres at 1:00 pm (2 hours before my wedding). When 1:00 arrived and my flowers didn't, we called her countless times. We were finally able to get a hold of her only to be told the flowers were left in the venue's refrigerator the night before. Turns out, the flowers were put in the freezer! Most of the flowers were wilted, frozen or damaged. I couldn't have professional wedding pictures taken, my bridesmaids and groomsmen's flowers had to be picked apart to find the few flowers that survived and my bouquet was a disaster and was picked apart. It was the worst service I received. I would never recommend this company for any event. -

I was going to book Andrea for my wedding but I couldn't afford it immediately and now she won't even respond to me! So I had to go find another person to hire only to find out this happens often with Andrea! -
