Working with Medelin was so easy from start to finish. Planning a destination wedding and communicating with different vendors can feel daunting. With medelins years of experience in the industry, I felt immediately at ease. She worked with all the vendors for me, negotiated terms, and kept me calm when hurricane weather threatened all of our plans last minute. My reception the day of my wedding was moved inside for weather and she negotiated with our decor vendor to include extra furniture, an upgraded sweetheart table, more flowers + more. She is kind and professional and puts together the most amazing events. Thank you for everything Medelin!! Xo -

My husband and I were determined to hire a wedding planner to help us plan our destination wedding. As someone who plans and sets up parties and weddings at home, finding a planner who had attention to detail was so important to us. There are hundreds of destination wedding planners, but Magic Dream/Medelin and her team are the best and their prices can't be beat. From our initial call to after the wedding, they have been with us every step of the way.
Medelin took the time to get to know us, see our vision, and communicate everything. Her knowledge of the industry and vendors truly helped us make our day special. She and Paulina were flexible and patient with all the questions and changes we made and had (and trust me I had a lot lol). Not once did they make us feel like a burden or pain. She did all the communication with our resort coordinator and vendors which was a true blessing.
The day of our wedding was so special and magical. It happened seamlessly and all our guests keep saying the same and all thanks to Magic Dream Weddings. Thank you Medelin and Paulina! You are the real MVPs 🤍 -

I just had my wedding at Xcaret Arte February 14th 2025. Working with Medelin was an absolute pleasure. She took away any worry and stress! Working with her was fun and I would not have been able to do this without her assistance! She made communication with all the vendors and hotel and brought my vision to life. Her and Mariana at the hotel coordinated everything and made it seamless and perfect! -

Planning a destination wedding from another country is not easy but Medelin was there every step of the way! After deciding on Hotel Xcaret Mexico, she helped communicate with the vendors and hotel, negotiate terms, create our timeline and so much more! When rain got in our way and made us move our reception inside, she made the change go so seamlessly. Her assistant, Victor was also amazing to work with the day of the wedding and helped me with anything I needed. We did not have to worry about any logistics the day of the wedding and was able to fully enjoy the moment. Medelin and her team made our wedding as magical as it could be. It was definitely the best day of our lives! -

Our wedding was absolutely magical, and we owe that to Medelin and her team. From the first meeting, to the actual wedding day, she executed everything wonderfully. Planning a wedding is stressful, and planning it in a different country adds to that stress, so make sure you have a good planner! There is no way I could’ve survived without Medelin. She listened to what I wanted, dealt with my crazy moments and my family! lol. Everyone keeps talking about how gorgeous it was…and man oh man, was it! Medeline is the kindest and sweetest, she went above and beyond to plan the most magical wedding for us at Xcaret! Throughout the wedding planning process, Medeline was super easy to work with. Always so responsive and on top of everything! She truly cares about her couples. She listened carefully to what we wanted and brought together a team of amazing vendors to create the best day for us. On the wedding day, we just trusted Medeline and her team, and we didn't need to worry about anything other than enjoying ourselves! If you are imagining having an exceptional, beautiful and fun wedding, Medeline will deliver an even better one than what you are imagining! Our wedding was a dream come true! We loved her so much! Medelin made our dreams a reality! We couldn’t have planned this wedding without her. We live in Florida and planning a destination wedding was something we knew we wanted the moment we were engaged and picking Medelin and her team was the best decision we made. She’s very knowledgeable and has amazing recommendations for vendors. She is extremely professional but made me feel like her top priority when I would have mini melt downs lol. I got married at Xcaret last spring and Medelin was assigned as my wedding coordinator. I am so thankful that she was assigned to me and that I as able to work with her on my wedding planning. She helped me coordinate all of the details from abroad, and on my wedding day, everything fell into place perfectly. I literally did not have one concern or worry on my wedding day! Everything was just as I had imagined, and I couldn't have been happier! You are in good hands with Medelin! -

Dream wedding at Hotel Xcaret Mexico
Medelin from Magic Dream Weddings was my Wedding Coordinator for my destination wedding at Hotel Xcaret Mexico in July 2022. She did an absolutely amazing job. Our wedding was executed perfectly from start to finish, exactly as discussed with Medelin prior to our wedding day. Medelin coordinated our pre-wedding events and video shoot in addition to our wedding day, and provided top notch service every single time. She went above and beyond, and was extremely patient, even when some of our guests arrived late to some events. On our wedding day, Medelin did an amazing job working with our DJ vendor to ensure we were staying on schedule during the reception. I was able to stay calm and have peace of mind during the entire day because Medelin took care of everything. Medelin even walked us back to our room after the wedding and ensured we got everything we needed from the reception (like our guest book, etc.). Our dream wedding would not have been possible without Magic Dream Weddings! -

The best help on my best day
Words cannot express my gratitude i have for Medelin My wedding was something out of a magazine! It was the PERFECT wedding and it's all because of ther I came to her with a simple idea and they worked their magic and brought it to life. If you think you don't need a wedding planner, think again and if you think you can go with just any one THINK AGAIN!
Medelin and staff top-notch planner and I am incredibly lucky to have had her help. She always made use feel as though she had everything 100% under control. Trust me, you want this is a planner!! I felt taken care of every thing just went wonderfully

I would not recommend Medelin at Magic Dream Weddings. There were multiple missed details we had confirmed in advance, and the process felt disorganized from start to finish. It often seemed like Medelin was advocating for the resort rather than for us as a couple. Many requests felt unnecessarily difficult, and I repeatedly had to follow up and restate the same items.
Medelin also negotiated against us with our florist, missed multiple vendor meetings, and had conflicts with vendors we selected. On top of that, we were close to signing two contracts that the resort would not allow and/or were not on the approved outside vendor list—something that could have cost us additional money. Overall, I expected significantly more professionalism, organization, and advocacy from a wedding planner.
