My husband and I currently live in Northern California. However, it had always been a dream of mine's to get married back in my hometown—Chattanooga, TN. From our first meeting with Maggie, we knew she would be the best person to help create a beautiful cross-cultural wedding (African-American and Afghan). She connected us to an amazing caterer who was willing to make Afghan dishes and did a fantastic job. All the guests raved about the food! She even connected us to black owned businesses for our floral, videography, DJ, and hair and makeup services. She eased our stress, especially since we were a couple planning a wedding out of state. She was very organized and detailed and was readily available to address any additional questions or concerns we had. We are so lucky to have found her! We recommend her whole heartedly. She will not disappoint!!! -

As a wedding photographer, I've had my fair experience working with wedding planners! I can easily say that working with Maggie and her team was such a great and helpful experience. She is readily available to coordinate logistics leading up to the wedding and is extremely helpful on the day of coordinating not only the photography timing with me, but also managing all of the other million events going on at the same time. Her attention to detail is unparalleled, and it's apparent how diligent she is about understanding her clients vision and executing masterfully! I know all of the couples who work with her love her, and as a wedding industry expert, I would highly recommend Maggie Walker + her lovely team!! -

I hired Maggie for day of wedding coordination services. Her package included several planning meeting and boy did Maggie maximize those! She always took as much time as it needed to get through the list for that meeting, had great recommendations whenever I was stuck, and had a checkbox for every single imaginable detail. On the wedding day, Maggie handled everything seamlessly and I was able to enjoy my day as the bride. She organized my vendors and because of her my wedding decor really turned out better than I imagined. She also orchestrated the most organized cleanup imaginable! I was able to leave with my husband and my family had all of the leftover decor packed and cleaned up and were out of the venue in less than an hour thanks to Maggie’s skills and her team’s help. Maggie truly made all of my wedding dreams come true! -

We are so happy we went with Maggie to help us with our big day! Our meetings leading up to the day helped us stay focused but not overwhelmed with the planning process. She makes everything easy and her planning timelines are so detailed we never forgot a thing! Her contacts were also a huge help because she connected us with an amazing officiant who created our dream ceremony. Maggie’s professionalism and energetic spirit makes everything about wedding planning worth it! Also what other planner will get out on the dance floor with you, when the DJ shouts her out! -

Maggie was a great help guiding a hands off but decorating the tables mother of the bride. I needed to know how what where when and why abs she proved extra info I did not k ow to ask. She was very hands on with my daughter before, during and still as we are waiting for photos to be returned. A written timeline helped us gather things before and during cleanup so no questions were left unanswered and everything was done perfectly so deposits were given back. You won’t regret hiring Maggie! -

Maggie was wonderful to work with. From the first interaction we had we clicked and became friends throughout the process. My very favorite thing about working with Maggie was consistently reminded me that my wedding was about me and my husband. She only cared about what made the two of us the happiest on our big day and she supported every decision she made. She was a great resource during COVID helping me navigate what the safest and easiest way to have my wedding. She is so personable and will truly be your sidekick throughout the planning process and of course on wedding day as well. Thank you Maggie for everything you did for Tyler and I. WOW! Where do I begin? Maggie was a LIFESAVER for me and my husband. We hired her later in the wedding planning process but she was on the top of her game—getting every single detail planned out and prepped perfectly! Our wedding was in Atlanta, my husband and i were living in brooklyn and maggie was in TN, but somehow she made it feel like we were all in the same place knocking things off of our to-do list everyday. We also had a backyard wedding that needed a TON of coordination between a ton of venders. She created a timeline for all the vendor load-in's, made sure everything ran smoothly, and problem-solved faster than anyone i had ever seen. One of our venders was dropping the ball leading up to our wedding and maggie not only picked up their slack she also took statements and helped us get our money back from that vendor. She was lovely, hardworking, brilliant, organized, sharp, optimistic, and all together incredible. I CANNOT recommend her enough! -

Selecting Maggie was an easy decision because she LISTENED and planned the wedding that fit our budget, and personalized every detail to match the bride and groom. She always returned messages with answers and literally held the hand of the anxious MOB (Mother of the Bride). If you are looking for personalized wedding planning with a delightful human being, use Maggie Walker and you will not be disappointed. There are lots of planners with resumes full of cookie cutter weddings. Maggie will make your vision for your special day come to life. -

We hired Maggie Walker Weddings as a Day of Coordinator and Maggie and Camilla were so delightful to work with. They took the stress away from dealing with iffy vendors and put such a rock solid plan in place that the day ran as smoothly as could be! Some brides say that their day feels like a blur, but I remember every single little detail from our day because our wedding coordinators took care of everything for us so we could live in the moment. It really was the wedding of our dreams, and it wouldn't have been possible without the coordination and vendor management these ladies provided. They are also some pretty cool chicks in general, and it's always nice to work with good people :). Thank you Maggie Walker Weddings!!! -

I hired Maggie as a day of coordinator and asked her mainly to help with a flip between the ceremony and reception. I planned my wedding in 5 months and hired Maggie at around the 2 month mark until the wedding. I lived about two hours from where we got married and where she was stationed so, we never actually had a consultation in person before the wedding due to timing. We did have a phone consultation that helped tremendously, along with all of her documents to keep me on track. We finally met on the day of the reversal and she jumped into action. Where Maggie really SHINED was on the day of the wedding! There were so many behind the scene issues that I wasn’t aware of, that I learned later, and she handled them. My caterer was 40 minutes late to start setup, the platters wouldn’t fit on the table with the greenery, the vintage tables I rented didn’t fit in the elevator, my bartenders were sitting around and not setting up, and I’m sure more issues that I’m still unaware of! MAGGIE KICKED ASS! My photographer, DJ and venue manager were raving about her to me at the end of the night. Hiring Maggie was one of the best and smartest decisions I made. -

Maggie was such a delight to work with. She acted as the day-of coordinator for our wedding and I don’t know what we would have done without her. I took on the challenge of planning my own wedding, so when the big day come, having Maggie there was priceless. Our meetings leading up to the wedding were so helpful and Maggie has so many useful resources. No matter how organized and OCD you are, don’t think you can take it all on; hire Maggie!!! I had list after list after list and a backup for my backup for my backup, BUT I never would have pulled the day off without Maggie. Thank you Maggie for helping make our fairytale weekend a success!!! -

We went with their day of planning service, which was well worth the very affordable price. From the start, Carol impressed us with her deep knowledge of weddings and her love for seeing things come alive. She was friendly, responsive, patient, committed to helping us plan an event that felt true to us, and, most importantly, organized. Over months of email, text and call exchanges, she helped us figure out our line up, timeline and etc. She spotted minor errors before the big day and help correct them. They were high-quality, within our budget, and just incredibly pleasant and professional. On the day of, our timeline was pretty straightforward as weddings go, but even so, Carol was always one step ahead, making the trains run on time and tweaking details so everything flowed more smoothly and looked great. Thanks to her, we had a perfect day. -

Above and Beyond!
Maggie and her team did an amazing job! Maggie was super knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations that eased many of the wedding stressors. We had our wedding at Common House. Her experience with the venue and relationship with the staff provided an additional layer of assurance that we were in great hands for our day. Would definitely recommend!! -

Maggie was beyond helpful the entire process! She helped us make smart decisions and pick out great vendors. She kept us organized and on schedule for everything planning related. She executed everything on the wedding day so well and left us with nothing to stress about. Would not have been able to stay sane throughout the process or have the wedding of our dreams without her! -

Wonderful!
Maggie is very organized, attentive and truly listens to her clients to give them everything they desire on their big day. She is always fun, sweet and communicative. The only thing I would’ve changed is having her for longer beforehand on the day of, which is a reflection of my own poor planning and inexperience. Overall, I would recommend Maggie to anyone! -

Maggie was so helpful in the wedding planning process! Maggie was very responsive and easy to communicate with via email and Zoom/FaceTime. I used Maggie and her team for day of coordination and my only regret was that I didn’t have her for full service planning! Maggie and her team knocked it out of the park day of and I did not have to worry about a single thing on my big day. It was such a relief to have someone handle all the things that are involved on day of and I highly recommend using Maggie! Thanks again, Maggie! Tyler and I appreciate you & your team so much! -
