Every bride knows how hectic the wedding planning/wedding day is (not to mention a destination wedding) and thanks to them, everything was organized and stress-free. I was so relaxed that even my family was shocked! It’s because I didn’t have to worry about anything which was something I really wanted in a coordinator. I also had a couple of last minute changes and they acted upon it swiftly and smoothly. They were so fast, communicative, and took care of everything I asked for. She was flexible with leading a ceremony rehearsal for us which we planned last minute. Madelaine took the pressure of planning a destination wedding off my shoulders! Between juggling my business and family squeezing in time to plan a wedding, especially, a destination wedding was not something that I would have the patience to do. After our initial meeting I knew she was the perfect fit! She is sweet, kind and extremely honest. The only thing that stressed me the most was my venue & the local gov't. But obviously those things were beyond her control. I would shoot her emails at 1 or 2 am and by them time I would wake up in the morning she would already have responded via email or text. Couldn’t be happier!
During wedding planning, I thought I would be able to do everything myself and I wouldn’t need a planner or coordinator. I did a lot of research on the venue and vendors we used, and by the time I came to Madelaine I had most vendors already booked and a general idea of what I wanted. But I quickly realized that planning a wedding in Puerto Rico from New Jersey while simultaneously starting a new job became overwhelming. Being that I had a lot of the leg work done already, I began looking into coordinators that I had seen do weddings at my venue (Hotel El Convento). After talking with a few that were all very nice, I just had to go with my gut feeling and hire Madelaine. Instead of feeling more overwhelmed and intimidated, Madelaine just seemed so down to earth and immediately made me feel comfortable. She was transparent as far as her services offered and prices which was a breath of fresh air during wedding planning. I am so glad I went with my gut feeling. It was the best investment we spent on the entire wedding. As the date approached and I was beyond overwhelmed with a new job, Madelaine remained patient with me and was always so flexible, understanding, accommodating and responsive. I was on the fence about a cake but she was able to take my vision, budget, guest count, etc into consideration and set me up with an excellent pastry chef who made the best wedding cake I’ve ever had that fit every need. She worked with us and our vendors to create the perfect timeline for the day, and was so flexible when it came to rehearsing the night before. She was so thorough and took extra time to meet with me, go over any questions we had, and took extra care to get to know our bridal party. Day of the wedding Madelaine and Daniela truly felt like a part of the family and it was a pleasure to have them working with us on our day. Everything went more smoothly than I could have ever dreamed of. Madelaine and Daniela made sure everything ran perfectly and went exactly according to plan. Not only are we so impressed with her services and agree that it’s the best money we spent on the wedding, our friends and family are also beyond impressed. We have gotten so many compliments on how amazing everything was and what a great job Madelaine did. We spent so much time on every detail and worked so hard for this wedding that we decided a good investment would be having someone make sure we truly get to enjoy the day, and that’s exactly what Madelaine and Daniela did and that’s why it was by far the best money we spent on anything wedding related. We truly got to enjoy our day. It was perfect and it wouldn’t have gone so well if it wasn’t for Madelaine. I truly feel that I have made a lifelong friend and I can’t wait to see her on my next trip back to the island. If you are considering Madelaine, this is your sign to hire her. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Maru is as a planner! We hired Madelaine and her team for the full planning package. Although I am from Puerto Rico, both my wife and I were living in California & Michigan respectively, so we needed a good wedding planner to manage vendors in the island. We're so happy we hired Madelaine as our wedding planner. She made everything a breeze in terms of looking for vendors and organization for our special day. Every recommendation of vendor that Madelaine provided was excellent, to the point that if we had to do our event all over again, we think that we would go with every one of Madelaine's recommendations again, from transportation to decor and food. They were all great professionals that provided an excellent service with great value.
As for how good things ran during our special day, Madelaine was a superstar. Our parents are kinda picky about how things run in activities and they came to us to tell us that they loved how everything was well organized and how smoothly everything went and all that was thanks to Madelaine. We didn't even have to worry about our meals or any minor detail like that because Madelaine made sure that we experience our special day as she managed everything.
We can't praise her and her team enough!!! We would recommend Madelaine for any friend that wanted to plan a wedding in Puerto Rico, or any event in general.

Madelaine was the best investment for our wedding! It seemed daunting planning a destination wedding but she made it do much easier. From day 1 she was on top of everything. Everytime we needed a vendor recommendation she had one or found us one. We wanted a lighted dance floor and with just sending her a picture she found it. When we wanted a coffee vendor but the hotel elevator restricted our options she kept looking until she found the perfect one. She also steered us away from overpriced vendors or those with a bad reputation. She found the rehearsal dinner venue and coordinated that for us as well. For the wedding day she coordinated with all the vendors and made sure everything ran perfectly! She was at the hotel early to check on set up, check on me and the girls getting dress, making sure the boys were on track, making it to the church on time and back, during the reception, etc. We enjoyed every second of the wedding and can say it was thanks to Madelaine's awesome job. My mom wanted to surprise us with fireworks and worked with Madelaine and the hotel to coordinate it. We had no idea about this surprise and it was perfect! Even after the wedding she helped coordinate between the hotel and other vendors to pick up some items.
If you're looking for a coordinator that will make sure everything is perfect for your bid day and is super friendly and easy to get along with hire Madelaine. We will certainly hire her for any event we have in the future. HIGHLY recommended.

We hired Madelaine as our day-of coordinator and she really exceeded our expectations. We’ve noticed that some wedding vendors see weddings as their day-job and forget a bit about customer service (and about the fact that this is one of the most special life events for us, the clients). This was not the case with Madelaine (or Maru as she likes to be called). I texted her at the crack of dawn or in the evening and she replied immediately. She didn’t mind my million questions and always knew what to do when there were issues. She is extremely reliable and kind and it felt like she was always one step ahead of us, which we greatly appreciated. Apart from her excellent work, Maru is an amazing person who was right there with us (with me, mostly-the bride) and even cried with us a little bit in the emotional moments, like my father-daughter dance. Do not look any further. This is the wedding coordinator you need. She will make your life SO MUCH EASIER. As a bride I felt like I didn’t know what I didn’t know and I just trusted Maru. This was an excellent choice. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I would pay her a million times more.

BEST Wedding Planner (Seriously!!)
Madelaine was truly spectacular, and we would highly recommend her to anyone. In particular, for someone planning a destination wedding like we were, she can be a great help to you. From the first phone call we had with Madelaine she was engaged, thoughtful, and helpful. We did her partial planning service and she helped connect us directly to trusted vendors she works with and those that fit our budget and style.
She answered all of my questions (even the very random ones I would ask)! And, Madelaine was very professional, always. She has great experience in the industry and as a planner, and we trusted her fully. And, good thing we did because.... our wedding day was, perfect. Madelaine was there the day of our wedding and made sure everything ran smoothly. As the bride, I'm sure I don't even know half of all the things Madelaine did on our wedding day behind the scenes to make it perfect. All I know is that I was perfectly calm on my wedding day and without any stress because I knew Madelaine was taking care of everything for us.
And beyond all that...she's just such a fun, special person! We loved getting to know her and now consider her a friend. Whenever we visit Puerto Rico, we hope to share a meal with her.

Madelaine and her team were SO helpful through my wedding process. My wedding had to be postponed 2xs because of covid-19 - change of venue date, change of catering date, change of DJ date, all of it. She was so optimistic through it all & made sure our day was special regardless of all of the personal and environmental obstacles. I would recommend her over and over again if I could!!!

The best wedding planner you will find in PR!
I was iriginally intending to plan to hire a wedding planner thought I knew you personally however after a few conversations with her I quickly realize that we did not see eye to eye in many things. Not really having lived in the island for over 30 years didn’t have many connections so I relied on the venue’s recommendations on who would be a suitable wedding planner. I truly feel I hit the jackpot with Madeline. This woman worked above and beyond the agreed services and my own personal expectations. From day one and even before receiving a signed contract and I deposit she rolled up her sleeves and and went to work. After 8+ months of virtual communication this past weekend we celebrated our wedding and there is not one thing said I can identified as not having been above expectations. From happiness find the best vendors not only in quality but also in affordability. Quality was never compromise yet she saved us a lot of money. The details in the organization allowed for everything to go ass plan and without a glitch. But most importantly what impressed me the most was her patience, understanding, humbleness, and true love for what she does.This was my second marriage and my second wedding and I only wish that on my first wedding I would’ve had somebody half as good as her. For a destination wedding I never thought that I could achieve the attention to detail that you normally would when you can personality present and oversee everything with your own eyes. I had to trust and rely on her for everything and boy am I glad I did!

We need to start with a WOW!! Is the morning after the wedding and I'm writing this because I need everyone to know how INCREDIBLE Madelaine is. I met her through the phone during the pandemic. With the stress of the pandemic and wedding planning itself; Madelaine kept her cool and positivity through out this year. RESPONSIBLE!!! Last nigh was PERFECT and BEAUTIFUL. Hire Madelaine!
We love Madelaine! I am a "COVID bride" and finally had my beautiful wedding June 2021. I hired her services a couple years ago and we have been through it all. Date changes, venue changes and change back, and more! She remained calm, but very understanding and compassionate throughout the whole time.
She could also "read me." I am pretty Type A, but Madelaine gave me the space to plan as much as I wanted without trying to take over, but she was there to help give advice, ask about details that I missed, and even recommendations on vendors (all great and helped me save money-- my favorite).
I am here to say, do not hesitate. She's not only an amazing planner but such a gem of a person! My only regret is not getting a pic with this superwoman.

Destination Wedding Professional!
Planning a Wedding is hard as it is. Planning a Destination Wedding During the Pandemic was even harder and stressful! But If I had to do it again I totally would as long as Madelaine is there!
Madelaine completely impressed my husband and I. She placed our mind at ease. We admire, respect, and appreciate how serious she takes her job. Always communicating, following up, and helping us with any questions or concerns we had throughout this whole process.
She is extremely professional, Detail oriented, Reliable, Communicated more information than our venue on important rules and regulations the island had, and has a straight forward, honest, down to earth, easy going pleasant personality.
We also contracted Decor with Madelaine and her work partner. The way Madelaine and her team set up our ceremony + reception was BEAUTIFUL & Elegant. We had a small wedding but very elegantly styled.
For our Wedding Day, while Madelaine was attending to making sure things where running on time and smoothly her Wonderful team were my voice with the Videographer and Photographer. Her team knew what I was comfortable with and my vision. I never felt alone, her assistants were always near to help. They were so attentive and caring with helping me with my dress, shoes, etc.

Incredible Wedding Planner!
I cannot share enough praise about Madelaine. My husband and I got married 2/22/20 at LaConcha in San Juan, PR and were coordinating the entire thing from Ohio! Madelaine not only helped us find excellent vendors that fit within our budget, she made recommendations that helped us save money such as using the ceremony flowers for the sweetheart table! She also drafted a perfect timeline and took care of all of the details the day before and the day of our wedding. My only regret is not using her connections for linens! We flew down to finalize our vendors and she made time to meet with us to walk us through everything and answer every question big or small. She was also incredibly responsive when we emailed and/or text her throughout the process.
Madelaine gave us the peace of mind that the rehearsal (which she coordinated and attended) would be flawless, and that the wedding would go off perfectly. The weather was hotter than expected so instead of cocktail hour outside, she quickly switched us to having a receiving line to welcome our guests into the airconditioned reception room early and no one knew that wasn't the original plan.
If you want a true pro who will make your day flawless, I HIGHLY recommend Madelaine and her team!

Our defender!
Madelaine was such a wonderful person to work with throughout our entire experience. Communication via email was always thorough and prompt (very appreciated as we were planning a destination wedding) and although we only booked her for day-of-wedding services, she made herself available to us on several occasions before wedding day both to meet and to visit other vendors for trials in our stead when necessary. She also was very candid in making sure we knew exactly how to deal with certain vendors to give us the best chance to have the day go exactly as we wanted and went above and beyond on the day of to make sure that everything went smoothly from start to finish. We threw her plenty of curve balls with a combination of family surprises, multiple dance performances, and plenty of mishaps, and she handled it all with grace. Madelaine exceeded expectations in so many ways and we're so grateful to have found her!

Planning a destination can be stressful so that's why I knew I had to have a coordinator. I found Madelaine on wedding wire, along with having great reviews she was responsive via email from start to end, able to answer all my questions. I knew from everything she offered she was perfect to ensure I have my dream wedding. Madelaine was my life saver, she is very professional and makes sure things get done so bride can stay stress free. She offered recommendations for other vendors that she has had experience working with and I am so happy I took them, they were great as well. The day of the wedding went perfect, constant communication with Madelaine throughout the day, she was at the venue setting up and ensuring all was in place and ready. Made sure groom and guest were in place upon to my arrival. When I walked in she was there to greet me with a big smile and hug, I knew from that everything was perfect.... and it was! Madelaine and her assistant worked hard all night to make sure we stayed on schedule and the flow continued to stay smooth. Where to begin...Madelaine literally made our wedding pure magic! After we weren't able to travel to Puerto Rico due to the hurricane, we hired Madelaine to help us plan the wedding of our dreams. She was so kind, always went above and beyond for us and it was so clear we had someone that really cared on our side. LOOK NO FURTHER! Madelaine is FANTASTIC!!!
We had a destination wedding in San Juan on Feb. 2nd, 2018. Initially, I had planned on arranging everything myself and did not intend on hiring a coordinator. I had found vendors on WeddingWire and then checked out all of their websites and social media sites. I had every little detail planned out.......I thought. About 1 month prior to our wedding I started realizing there were little things I had not considered. Things I could not ask my other vendors to do and did not want to ask anyone who was attending my wedding to do. So I decided to try to find a coordinator that could handle those minor tasks without charging me an outrageous amount of money. And that's when I found Madelaine. She was very quick to respond to my inquiry and every email after that. I had hired her for her "Day-Of Wedding Coordination" services but, let me tell you, we got so much more than we bargained for!! I gave her all of the information for our vendors and she took the reigns. She kept in contact with them to make sure everything was all set and she even finalized the plans for our rehearsal!! The day of our wedding she handled everything and we were able to just enjoy the entire event without worrying about a thing. While she mostly stayed behind the scenes, she really felt just like another friend at our wedding.
I really can not speak highly enough of Madelaine and her services. In fact, I WISH I had hired her from the start and had her to plan the entire thing!! She is worth so much more than what she charges and you will not regret hiring her!

So me and my husband decided to start our hunt for a wedding planner knowing only three things: planning a wedding is a lot of work; we both have really busy work schedules; and we want a magical day to celebrate our magical love (despite having no real vision of what this would look like!). That said, we didn't fully understand what a planner did. How would we be involved vs. How would they be involves?
Then I met Madelaine, she came armed of her incredible past work and a breakdown of everything we'd need to know to make our decision. Seeing her amazing past work factored into our decision - but it really came down to her being such lovely person. We felt like we could trust her instantly, and suddenly the cost of the planning & design package seemed like a bargain for what we were getting in return: total peace of mind. That peace of mind continued throughout the short designing and planning process - we only had like 5 month to plan the wedding. She maintained the perfect balance of keeping us in the loop as often as we needed it.
A month before our wedding, my wedding cake was canceled since the person was leaving to the US, image a wedding without NO CAKE I was going crazy and decided to contact Madeline despite this being totally out of her control she went above and beyond to help me find the cake for my wedding.
I could keep going and tell you how wonderful, awesome, organized, enthusiast, prepared she is but that is something you will need to see for yourself and I can guarantee she's the best.

I could not have been happier with Madelaine and all of her help on my wedding; in fact she had to basically track me down because i was not in touch often enough. I never worried about anything having her by my side taking care of all of the logistics. She was just the perfect person to have help us.

I had the best wedding ever thanks to her! I was not the most predictable bride to work with, but she managed to understand what I wanted. She gave me a flowerless wedding, like I wanted, and made it look even better. My forest wedding was perfect, the center pieces where perfect, the bouquets were beautiful. She made me the perfect forest wedding on a budget. She recommended the dj service and the photographer and they performed as expected, I was very happy with that. She made sure everything ran smoothly and she dealt with the officiant...she will always be a hero for that. My now husband was not around for the wedding planning, so he practically received a surprise wedding and he loved it. We are very grateful for her work and she should definitely plan your wedding or your next event.

Madelaine Trull is truly the best wedding planner in Puerto Rico. For many years I already had an idea of how I wanted my wedding to be and as soon as I gave her my ideas she started working on that basis. She really gave life to everything that I dreamed of and it was designed like I ask for it . She also recommended the Dj service , Power Sound Dj's , they played all the music that I asked them to play. Very professional and even entertained the party. For the transportation of the event she also recommended me a company, the driver who was very punctual in the Hotel, took me to church and I arrived on time. I always imagine an elegant, modern and simple wedding and so it was . The flowers gave a beautiful touch to the room with the ambience that I chose . Something that should be emphasized is that she knows how to work well with budgets. I told her what I had set for everything and she work extremely well with that. If she understands that there is something that can be portrayed in a better way she gives you feedback. Everything that she recommended me, she had it right. I recommend her 100% for that special day.

Madelaine always took care of both of us and considered our budget. With that said, our wedding was spectacular. With attention to every detail, she make our journey a lot easier so we could enjoy our ceremony as we always dreamed about. My wife did not have to stress over anything because Madelaine took care of everything. I highly recommended her services if you are planning a wedding in Puerto Rico! Madelaine is simply the best! She provided flowers, table decorations, chairs, and her own personal touch. She coordinated her services with the venue that hosted our wedding! She paid attention to every detail that I spoke to here about and went above and beyond to make sure all of my ideas came to life!! Madelaine was extremely easy to work with and kept in contact via text, phone calls, and emails. She was responsive and pleasant to work with.
One of my favorite things about working with Madelaine is the family touch. Her mother helps with the setup of the events, making it an even more personal.
Madelaine is simply worth every penny. The piece of mind and flexibility that she offers is exactly what every bride needs. I would recommend her to any destination or local bride.

Madelaine s absolutely the best! She was always available for questions by email, telephone and/or text from the time first contact was made to the end of the wedding day. From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding, she did a marvelous job. We couldn't have asked for a better planner. She was in constant contact from the moment we landed in Puerto Rico until the very end of the wedding evening and handled all the last minute changes that came up (even the unexpected downpours about an hour and a half before the wedding) while remaining composed and patient. She even found someone to paint a wooden sign for the beach in Spanish and English that the bride found on Pinterest.
If you are looking for a professional, courteous and friendly wedding planner, Madelaine is definitely the right choice. She made my daughter's wedding day the most special and lovely day I ever could have wished for!

After my first conversation with Madelaine, I was 100% ready to hire her as a day of coordinator. From ordering and assembling the centerpieces for the rehearsal dinner, helping out with our wedding decorations and ceremony setup, researching Chinese and Korean wedding customs, and keeping me from losing my sanity, she was along every step of the way complete with open communication and worth every penny. She definitely went above and beyond to make both my rehearsal dinner and wedding a huge success! I made a great new friend in Puerto Rico and can't wait to go back! =)

We were married in San Juan, PR at the Hotel Del Mar in early August. Although there were some issues with the hotel themselves, Madelaine was the best!
I was so impressed and very happy with Madelaine. From beginning to end of the whole process, she was there taking care of everything. She was very professional but also friendly when planning our big day. From venue to flowers to DJ, she did it all.
I could not have planned it without her and I would reccomend her to anyone who wants to have their wedding in PR. Thanks again Madelaine.

With all the things I had going on, I didn't had the time to plan my own wedding and that's why I hired Madelaine. SHE'S THE BEST!! I have no negative comments about Madelaine. She is amazing. My wedding was pure chaos, it was far away it was full of crazy guests and lots of drama and Madelaine handled everything like a pro. She always made me feel like I was the only bride she attended too even though I knew she had a few more clients. She was honest, friendly and always available. I highly recommend her services.

If you want a perfect wedding without all the stress, Madelaine will make it happen. She was always available for me and I didn't had any problems with her. Going into this experience I did not know what to expect. I was all the way in Maryland and had never even been to Puerto Rico. I had many questions and needed much help in getting organized. From the very first email Madelaine was very informative as she answered all of my questions and put me at ease. Nothing was too small and she always made me feel as though I was a priority. Madelaine coordinated everything for me to the very last detail. I put all my trust in her since I was not able to be there and she proved herself to be trustworthy. She really did make my dream a reality.

Great wedding planner!
I'm so grateful for Madelaine's partial planning services! She was able to help & follow up on issues with some vendors, and she recommended some amazing vendors (caterer & DJ) that I would've never found on my own. We also felt that she was on top of every detail during the week of the wedding. She worked really hard on the day of the wedding to ensure that everything ran smoothly and everyone enjoyed themselves! Some guests said it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to! We could not have planned this wedding without her!

A wedding planner that is caring and delivers a stress-free event!
For context:
We hired Madelaine for the partial planning package. At the moment of hire, we had already found most of the vendors. She helped us find a decorator, scheduled tastings with caterers, timeline management, and day-of coordination.
Review:
Madelaine has a lot of experience planning weddings, and it showed with the quality of her suggestions of vendors we were missing and confirmation of the quality of vendors we had already secured. Thanks to her direction, we were able to hire a dream team of vendors that collectively went above and beyond to make our wedding an unforgettable event.
She did a great job planning the event timeline, particularly being flexible on the fly the day of the wedding when we had rain affect our planned ceremony. During the wedding we were able to focus on just enjoying our event without having to stress about coordinating with vendors.
She also has a very caring personality and is easy to talk and work with. She makes you feel like a very close friend or like family during our conversations with her.
One thing to note, depending on your style of communication, you may need to work out with Madelaine how best to communicate and work with her. As a couple, we are more structured and like to plan things ahead of time and sometimes it was a difficult to get a direct response to some of our questions. However, I would also say that we are a bit stricter with communication than most, and maybe this also had to do with differences with partial planning and full planning.
At the end of the day, the result of Madelaine’s services was great and she delivered a stress-free event, and we would recommend her.

Absolutely Amazing 🤩
Planning a destination wedding is not for the faint hearted. Especially for a person that likes to control the details 🤫 Madelaine put all my worries & fears to rest by managing all the details super efficiently. Madelaine made 1500 miles of distance seem like she was with me every step of the way. There was never a call nor email that went unanswered. Madelaine Trull Events K+I Review
Hiring Madelaine Trull Events was the worst decision we made in regards to our wedding.
Prior to giving her our deposit she was quick to respond and communicative. Once she had our deposit, she was difficult to get in touch with, unresponsive to emails and we went 5 months without hearing from her. She did not keep track of contracts with vendors or read them when we sent them for verification, she was unaware of our budget throughout the process because she didn’t ask, and she made promises that she could not keep. For example Madelaine changed the itinerary for the day and locations in the venue for certain parts of the day about 5 weeks prior to the actual wedding day.
When our venue was making changes to what was promised within our contract as well as outside of our contract with them, she did not prioritize us as her clients and instead chose to prioritize the venue despite their bad business practice.
As the day of our wedding approached we had hopes all of the chaos prior would be made up for with a smooth wedding day, this wasn’t the case. Madelaine failed to communicate and structure the flow of cocktail hour while we were taking family photos causing unnecessary confusion, discomfort, and frustration for not only ourselves but our guests as well. Instead of providing a solution or facilitating a change, she stood in the way of the photographer while he was taking pictures of our families with nothing to say or do- he had to ask her to move out of the way several times.
We discussed how the day would play out a week or so prior to the wedding as well as the day of to confirm when we would eat, when guests would eat, pictures would be taken, etc and she still did not have a good understanding of how the day was supposed to work out. For example, we discussed eating separately while our guests started getting their food- this of course did not happen along with the cocktail hour/pictures confusion. She misunderstood or didn’t care to understand several parts of the day despite having discussed it several times. We were also told by multiple vendors that they were unaware we even had a coordinator up until a week or so before the wedding. If you want to hire a wedding coordinator/planner and feel like you DON’T have one, I would hire Madelaine. Her assistant Denise was however extremely helpful on the day of the wedding. I am also unsure as to why her name on Wedding Wire is different than the one she used with us and on Facebook.
