She brought my vision for my flowy hair and delicate makeup to life for my wedding. Roya was so easy to work with and I'm so glad I hired her. She was able to have my entire wedding party join at the salon the morning of the wedding. Not everyone in my wedding party got their hair and/or makeup professionally done, but Roya let us all be there and get ready together. It was also great we were able to bring breakfast and coffee and eat at the salon as well. She made getting ready stress-free and fun! -

Exceeds Expectations!
Roya did an AMAZING job of styling my hair for my wedding and exceeded all of my expectations! She went above and beyond to perfect the style, which lasted all night long. Roya was such a pleasure to work with and is a talented hair stylist. I appreciated how kind, patient, and professional Roya was throughout the entire process. Her assistant, Zach, was also very skilled, patient, and easy to talk to. Hired Roya for my 11/4/22 wedding and she did such a great job! My hair and makeup were exactly what I had in mind, and everything stayed on throughout the singing, dancing, and running around all night. I had a small party of 3 people (my mom, MIL, and MOH) and everybody was pleased with their hair and makeup. Roya perfectly achieved their requests to look great but not completely unrecognizable, and my mom in particular could not stop raving about how much she loved her look. Having Roya and her assistant do our hair and makeup was a great start to my wedding day and I could not recommend her enough. -

Roya has been one of my favorites to work with. I had a couple of hair trials with her and she was so fun to be around. The day of the wedding, she brought 2 others with her and when I tell you this team of stylists knocked out the getting ready process, I mean it! My #1 concern was running behind because I know how hard it can be to get 9 girls hair and makeup done. That just sounds like a nightmare when you’re on a time crunch. I was blown away. They had to have broken a record because it was done so fast and everyone’s hair and makeup was beautiful! Highly, highly recommend Made Beautiful by Roya! -

What can I say??? Roya and her assistant Zach were absolutely incredible and everyone in my bridal party and family thought so. From the start, Roya did an incredible job with my hair and makeup for my engagement photos, and then she stuck with me through two hair trials for my wedding until we found the right look. Roya was always responsive, professional, and incredibly friendly. The day of my wedding, we had to make a last minute location change because of a power outage at our airbnb (thanks hurricane Ian), but Roya and Zach were quick to respond and adapt to our new location. I had a few bridesmaids and family with difficult hair that were worried about the outcome, but Roya and Zach did amazing with all of them and the LOVED their hair and makeup. I have never felt more beautiful in my whole life and it's all thanks to them. -

Roya was a breeze to work with!
Roya did my hair and makeup as well as hair for a few of my bridesmaids for my vow renewal and I would work with her again in a heartbeat! I'm always nervous not knowing if people will know how to handle my naturally curly hair but Roya was great and immediately understood exactly what I wanted. She also understood that I wanted to look like myself in my photos and did a great job on my makeup, including remembering a few small details I wanted to change after my trial. On the morning of, she was a relaxed and calming presence in our getting-ready space, and I would recommend her to anyone! -

Roya was amazing! She was accommodating and professional every step of the way. During my trial she showed me several different options for hair and was sure to listen to my vision. She was even able to get me in for a cut and color prior to my wedding! For the wedding day she and her team did hair and makeup for my mother, mother in law, bridesmaids, and myself. Her timeline was perfect, getting the group ready with time to spare and everyone looked beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with Roya’s service, she’s easy to talk to and a pleasure to work with. -

Roya and Zack did my engagement shoot hair and makeup and my wedding day hair and makeup for all of my bridesmaids, the mothers of bride and groom, myself, and my niece who was a flower girl. Fun, flexible, affordable, beautiful!
Roya did a fabulous job with hair and makeup. When I started looking around for an artist in NC I was frustrated to find most had minimum amounts of money or people that they would be willing to do. As a bride with a very small party, I was worried I’d have to go to a salon the day of my wedding. Roya was willing to come on site for a minimum of two people, and was very flexible through the months approaching the wedding as my party decided how many of them actually wanted professional hair and makeup. She was willing to bring her assistant Zach to help get everyone done in the timeline that I needed. I was able to do both a hair and make up trial that coincided with my engagement photos, and everything looked amazing! She was happy to follow what I was looking for, especially as a bride who doesn’t normally wear a lot of makeup. I was looking for something that was nice without being crazy different from my normal un-made up face, and she was able to advise what I should add that would look great without being overwhelming. The other three girls also looked great! I would recommend her for any style of hair and makeup, and for any size bridal party. -

I’m not one to wear makeup and I was very hesitant to even hire someone to do my makeup for our wedding, but Roya was the perfect choice. The products she used were very light and natural. She was very understanding when I made some changes after our trial run. I cried about 5 times throughout my wedding day and my makeup stayed on perfectly. Due to the size of our party, Roya also brought an assistant who did everyone’s hair. He did an amazing job recreating ideas from pictures we showed him. He was also very understanding when we wanted to make changes. -

Working with Roya was a wonderful experience from start to finish. She amazed me at my trial when I showed just a few pictures of my hair and makeup ideas, and she quickly knew exactly what I was looking for. On top of doing a beautiful job, she is so friendly and easy to talk to, she made getting ready the morning of the wedding so much fun! She worked with me as I went through several logistics changes to our wedding plans due to COVID, and I am so appreciative of her flexibility. You won’t regret choosing Roya for your hair and makeup - I am so glad I did! -

Incredible!
Roya was an absolute joy to work with!! She blew me away during our trial and helped find me hair extensions that worked perfectly. She did my entire bridal party and my mom’s hair and makeup in record time and everyone looked beautiful! Roya was great right from the beginning! I scheduled a hair and makeup trial with her and had to reschedule which she was very flexible and able to easily reschedule me in. The trial went great and our personalities really clicked! I was able to show her a few pictures of what I was thinking and she pulled it all together perfectly. The day of the wedding she arrived right on time and made all of my bridesmaids feel at ease with getting their hair and makeup done. We all loved our looks and I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup. Definitely consider hiring Roya for your wedding or big event; she's wonderful! -

Working with Roya was such a pleasure. She was very responsive via email and allowed for flexibility while my bridesmaids decided which services they wanted. During my trial, Roya pulled off the perfect makeup and a great hairstyle. On the day of, Roya did great work on everyone, and made the adjustments I requested to my hairstyle. She even provided great flexibility and saved the day doing my mother's hair unexpectedly after we had a family illness throw off the timeline of the day.
I even went to back Roya for my "great chop" after the wedding. She is great to work with for regular hairstyles!! -

Roya immediately made my bridal party feel comfortable with her genuine personality. It was a joy having her and her partner, Deidre, as part of our day. Roya is an outstanding hair and makeup artist and an absolute pleasure to work with. I was back and forth on whether to have my makeup done professionally at first (I’ve always loved doing my makeup), but I am SO glad I chose to have Roya do it for my wedding. She knows exactly what to use to make the makeup last through the whole event and, even outside taking pictures in the pouring rain, my makeup lasted the whole time! The pictures turned out flawless thanks to her thorough, but natural coverage.
Roya was a pleasure to be around while my bridesmaids and I took turns getting ready. She is extremely professional and so kind and sweet. It calmed my nerves to have her there that day. I don’t know if my nerves would have let me do my makeup myself, but even if they had there’s no way it would have come close to how beautifully Roya did it. My girls and I looked phenomenal that day, and it’s all thanks to her. I highly recommend using her for any hair and makeup needs!

I ended up wanting a bit different of a style than I had at the trial and she was so flexible and did a wonderful job right on the spot the morning of the wedding. Roya was by far the most affordable hair & makeup artist I could find in the area, but trust me you aren't skimping on quality! She was amazing from start to finish, she moved around her schedule to accommodate my hair and makeup trial as I was an out of town bride, and she helped me communicate what I wanted changed. She really truly wants you to feel like you on your wedding day and will do exactly what you want. She also did hair and makeup for 5 girls in just under 6 hours. She offered the option to pay just a little extra for her to bring help, which might be a good option if you have a larger bridal party or a ceremony earlier in the day than mine. Also, she is SUCH a sweet person and all of my bridesmaids had so much fun getting ready with her. -

Okay, so I'm NOT a makeup person. At most you'll see me wearing lip color and mascara. Not kidding. But obviously, on my wedding day, I wanted to look amazing, and Roya did JUST THAT. When I first saw her for my consultation, I hadn't had a haircut in years. I have health issues that had caused me to lose my hair in the past and I had gained this fear that if I had my hair trimmed, it would never grow back. Roya calmly and patiently listened to my fears and trimmed my hair the way it needed to be trimmed to literal perfection. I had only really gone to places like Great Clips before her and WOW did I notice the difference. The hair was everything I expected it to be and more, and I told her to go full drama on the makeup. Although she did a FABULOUS job, I realized that I didn't quite recognize myself. I told her this the day of the wedding and she knew EXACTLY what to do. She lightened the makeup and did my hair the exact same way and it blew me away. It was also the hottest heat index day of the year - 116 degrees - and we had to do photos outside. Even my photographer was blown away by how amazing my makeup looked and how it didn't even look like I was sweating (although I for sure was!) in the pictures. When I look at the little camera photos I have on my phone, all I can see is how absolutely amazing I felt like I looked, and 80% of that was all thanks to Roya. The other 20% was my dress ;) Thank you Roya! -

Roya did my engagement photo hair style and makeup. She did a wonderful job! She styled my hair exactly how I requested. She also listened to my many requests on my makeup, she got it spot on. Our pictures turned out amazing, even our photographer commented on how great of a job she did. You can’t beat her prices! I am so excited for Roya to do mine and my bridesmaids makeup on my wedding day.
Roya also did my wedding makeup along with my four bridesmaids, and three family members. She rocked it out! She was so efficient! She worked in a room full of women, but stayed focused. Her makeup speaks for itself, she is phenomenal. I would hands down recommend Roya for all hair/makeup needs! -

Roya is beyond amazing!! I had two makeup artists cancel on me within 2 months of our wedding! I found Roya on here 2 weeks before my wedding, messaged her after 9PM one night and she responded immediately and we figured out a time to meet for a trial within 2 days! She knows her makeup and how to make what you envision come to life! I was able to explain to her how I wanted my makeup to look and she accomplished that look right away! Roya is Wonderful!
Roya is amazing! I was referred to her by a friend for wedding hair and makeup and am so happy I was. From our initial meeting she was welcoming and professional. I was a very indecisive bride when it came to my hair and every time I changed my mind about my bridal hair she kept the same enthusiasm and excitement for my next vision and was more than excited to try it out. She was always available to answer my questions and was very flexible with my schedule to get me in to her salon. She also did all of my bridesmaids hair and they all looked BEAUTIFUL. Not to mention she brought all the calm the day of my wedding during a hotel fiasco (that i still have nightmares about) and was more than willing to do everyone's hair in the lobby but fortunately the hotel got it together and that wasn't necessary. I am so thankful for her expertise and knowledge and warm personality. I love her so much she is now my go-to hair guru! I highly recommend Roya! -
