Amazing!!!!

I had the most wonderful experience here. It was my first time dress shopping and the attention I received is next to none. The very first dress was "the one" but my stylist and my friends stuck with me as I tried on soo many others - as I had no idea coming in what style I wanted! My stylist Sue picked up on what I liked almost immediately and kept bringing me great dresses, all were amazing! There was no pressure to buy, and I did leave to go to another shop in the same day. I called about an hour before close to come back to buy my dress and they were absolutely amazing in getting me in, getting me back into the dress so I could see it one more timea nd finalizing the sale. I would recommend this place again and again!

Professional and personable

The young woman that I worked with at MA Carr was truly amazing. She took all of my likes and dislikes and presented me with my dream dress. The only set back is that they do not provide alterations. I went to Village Tailor for alternations and is was an awful experience.

Karen was absolutely wonderful

I went into MA Carr after going to a bunch of bridal boutiques but not having any luck finding THE dress. I had a vision of what I wanted but everything I tried on just wasn’t for me. Karen brought me out dresses based on pictures I had shown her but I still didn’t find one I loved. She asked me to humor her and try on one that wasn’t exactly the style I wanted and it was MY dress. The second I put it on I knew I had to have it. I could not have had a better experience there. Trust the stylists there...they know what they’re doing and they will not let you down

Loved my dress

Amazing help finding my dream Hayley Paige wedding gown!

I went into M.A. Carr about a year before my wedding because they had a Hayley Paige trunk show. I had a few different ideas of what I wanted, but that quickly changed once I started trying on that style dress. The lady I worked with came back with a gown that was a perfect mix of what I had been liking and I knew it was the one before I even put it on. This was only dress #5. It was perfect. Everyone was so helpful and nice in there.

I had an amazing experience at MA Carr! I visited and had several appointments, one on short notice and Jillian was able to fit me in. Each time, my appointments were with Karen, who is an absolute sweetheart! Both ladies are very knowledgable in the designers they carry, lead time for ordering, different looks and pairings with veils, options for material and color and asked helpful questions that help make this wonderful decision something that you envision for your big day! Me being indecisive, they knew which ideas and options to throw my way to help me narrow down the search! I truly loved my experience at this boutique!

Awesome Staff & Beautiful Dress Selections

I cannot thank MA Carr & their staff enough for all of the assistance in the wedding dress process! I purchased my wedding dress here, along with my bridesmaids dress and my mothers dress. From start to finish, all of the staff was amazing and so helpful! They gave us lots of options to chose from and suggestions. Amazing customer service and dress selection

MA Carr was amazing to me. The first time I went in was my first time trying on dresses and I went with my brother and mom and they were so nice and sweet and accommodating. The second time I came in was six months later and Karen worked with me, my sister, and my best friend. They had all of my information and, while they didn't have the dress I was looking at last time, they brought out other dresses that were similar. This was how I found my perfect dress! They were so nice and helpful. I had another dress appointment afterwards and asked if I could come back later if I still wanted that dress and they said no problem. We did end up coming back later and they stayed open a little later for us. They were so helpful, from start to end. I would definitely recommend

Beautiful Dress and Friendly Staff

I got my dress from M.A. Carr and it was absolutely beautiful. It made me feel like a true bride. When I received my dress it was very big on me. I had lost some weight before my dress arrived and I was very nervous about it fitting. The owner of the shop spoke with my mother and I and helped to calm our nerves and recommended the perfect tailor. I could not be more happy about how the dress turned out. My bridesmaids also got their dresses from this shop and they always kept open communication. The only complaint I have is that my junior bridesmaids got measured at the shop and her dresses ended up being huge on her! I am not sure what happened but otherwise the service and the dress selection was amazing!

Erin and everyone at MA Carr were extremely kind and professional. Erin did an amazing job helping me find the perfect dress (I had a very specific vision in mind) and was even able to order a sample of my dress in a different color so I could make the right decision. bridemaid dresses gorgeous

I had gone into MA Carr to look for bridesmaids dresses after seeing one they had displayed at a bridal show that I really liked. I ended up not liking that particular dress but picked out another one that I absolutely loved! Everyone there was so kind and helpful and gave me great service even though I did not get my wedding dress from them. The bridesmaid dresses were priced reasonably and came in within 5 months. One of my bridesmaids did not live locally and she was able to order her dress remotely which was great!! My mother and MIL also went there to look at dresses and did not find exactly what they wanted but also had nothing but great things to say about the salon. Their consultant had even sent them thank you cards in the mail and told them if there was anything they could help them out with to let them know. That was an extremely personal touch that was so nice in my opinion. Makes you feel like you were not just a number. I would definitely recommend MA Carr for any formal event.

Amazing experience! Great selection and fantastic staff!

I went for an appointment at a different bridal salon and did not purchase a gown but planned to go back for a second appointment to make a decision. In the mean time I went for an appointment at MA Carr and the experience was a million times better! I am SO happy I went there and found my dress. The stylist ended up suggesting a gown I would have never thought to try on and I ended up loving it! Everyone was amazing!

Great Selection & Wonderful Staff

All the staff was great. Karen had a great eye with not only selecting the dress that I ultimately said yes to, but to pick the dress for my maid of honor and bride's maid. They have a great selection! They honored the price range we gave them and none of the dresses that I narrowed it down to were at the upper end of the range. They had accommodations for out-of town bridal party members which was very helpful! They were great to work with and I would definitely recommend them.

Wedding Dress

Kim was nothing but a pleasure to work with while finding my wedding dress! I am a bigger girl and was very worried about finding a wedding dress that I felt comfortable in. While I was working with Kim I never felt as though I was a “big girl” and she made the wedding dress experience just as wonderful as any other girl. When going into the appointment I didn’t give her much as far as what I wanted because I was honestly not sure. Each dress I tried on she took into account what I did and didn’t like and each dress got better and better until I found the one! She also was extremely patient with me and made several phone calls to the designer to ask about purchasing extra material to eventually add sleeves, raise the back of the dress, and add extra lace. Although I worked with Kim directly, the entire staff at M.A Carr was absolutely awesome! They create an extremely professional, friendly and fun environment while finding your wedding dress!

I had the most wonderful experience shopping at M.A. Carr Bridal! I cannot recommend this bridal salon enough. This was my last of four appointments that day, and the 8th bridal store I visited overall. Needless to say, I was exhausted by the time we got there and feeling discouraged by the whole process. After so many appointments, I had a very good idea of what I wanted, but really wasn't looking forward to trying on any more dresses. I worked with Kathy who was absolutely wonderful from the beginning. When I explained to her that I had already been to many bridal salons, she asked to see any pictures I had of dresses I liked. Right off the bat, she was very patient and attentive as I showed her my two favorites dresses and explained to her what I liked and wasn't sure about with each one. It was such a relief to be listened to as I had been to a few appointments where you feel like the consultant isn't truly listening or already thinks they know what's best for you. Kathy asked a few additional questions to make sure she understood what I wanted and set out to pull some dresses for me from the back, and boy, did she find the most beautiful dresses! I was completely blown away by their selection! I tried on about 6 dresses, each was the silhouette and fabric I knew I wanted but with different necklines and details to make each unique. Kathy was very helpful during the actual on-and-off process. She allowed me to change in the room by myself which I prefer, but then would come in to zipper/button me up and add the clamps. As soon as I tried on the second to last dress of the day, even before Kathy added the clamps to it, I knew I had a different feeling in it than any other dress I had tried. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting to end up with, but I fell completely in love with it instantly. I walked into M.A. Carr Bridal feeling tired and defeated with the whole process, and walked out on cloud nine with a more beautiful dress than I could have imagined!

I LOVED my experience at MA Carr. I worked with Erin and she helped me find the dress of my dreams. She did so an amazing job. I gave her an idea of what I have like and had not like so far in previous boutiques and the first dress she pulled was my dress! It was perfection. Before MA Carr, I only found a dress or two that I was okay with. I wasn't in love. But Erin pulled me at least 3 or 4 dresses that I would have excited to get married in and would have picked above anything I had seen before. If you want sparkle on your dress, MA Carr has way more sparkle in their dresses than any of the other stores in WNY. I also loved that Erin helped adding sleeves to my dress. She was able to mix and match sleeves from another dress maker that completed the look I wanted. I just picked up my dress yesterday and I am so happy! I can't wait to walk down the aisle in my dress! I had the best experience at MA Carr and I highly recommend that every WNY bride checks them out before purchasing a dress anywhere else.

As a plus-size bride on a budget, I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to find a dress that was affordable and that I loved. I figured that I would have to make a decision to either settle on a dress I could afford, but didn't love, or spend more on a dress I love and rearrange my budget. I found my perfect dress at M.A. Carr, and it was well-within what I could afford. Everything else I had tried on looked fine, but none of them were "the dress". When I tried on the dress I ultimately ended up purchasing, I cried. I didn't feel fat, I felt beautiful--something I didn't think was possible. My consultant was fantastic; she worked within my budget, and listened to what I liked and didn't like about specific dresses. The moment I put my dress on with a veil and other accessories, I knew that this was the dress I was going to get married in. I cannot recommend this bridal salon enough! I did not have to settle on a dress at all, or worry about how much I was spending. They truly made my dress dreams come true!

WOW!!! All I can say is I had the absolute best experience buying my dress here! I had gone in and looked through the rooms and thought I knew what I wanted and then I went in and realized I wanted something different. Erin knew the absolute perfect dress for me and I cried as soon as it went on. It was a bit hectic the day I went in and I ended up having my family sit in the front while I was in the back which made it feel like I was making a debut but also wasnt my favorite as I wished my family was there when I first walked out and saw the dress but when I walked out the look on their faces said it all. Erin knew the exact straps to bring out and add to what was a strapless dress but we added the straps to give it the perfect look. They were a completely different designer and matched better than anything I found from the Allure I had chosen. From that point Erin worked with me most of the way and Jill as well who was just as wonderful to work with. They saw me a lot through the process and I was always greeted with a warm welcome and had any of my questions answered. My girls also got their bridesmaids dresses here and received a discount because I had bought my dress. I received more compliments than I could tell you on how different my dress was and how incredibly beautiful it was and I am so thankful MA Carr was able to get me the dress of my dreams. I truly felt like the fairy tale bride I had always wanted.

I chose to check out MA Carr to try and find a wedding dress. They were wonderfully helpful when it came to finding a wedding dress that suited my style. We ordered the dress, and then I kept on looking at their website eyeing a different dress. So I called and they obliged; I went in and tried on the wedding dress and fell in love with it. They were flexible about ordering and moving payments around. Even when their seamstress left unexpectedly months before my wedding they set me up with a new, highly recommended seamstress. Everything was wonderful and went smoothly!

I took my time to research and visit MANY bridal shops, and the experience at MA Carr was by far the best. I ended up getting my bridal gown, veil, hair accessories, and my bridesmaids' dresses here. They have such a great selection of dresses and designers, and the service is top notch! All of the girls there are very friendly and helpful. They offer a nice discount on bridesmaid dresses if you buy your bridal dress there, as well as offering vouchers/discounts on the accessories if you visit certain bridal shows or buy your dress during a trunk sale. I will, and already have, recommend them to any of my friends getting married!

M.A. Carr exceeded all of my expectations. The staff is amazing! The ladies there are so helpful, friendly, and they truly care about helping you find that perfect dress! Their dress selection is quite large and includes every style you can think of. I wasn't exactly sure of the style of dress I wanted but, Kim, one of their stylists, really paid attention to what I liked and didn't like while trying on dresses. She was able to zero in on the style, detail, etc. of the dress I wanted and I ended up finding THE dress on my first visit! My entire experience with them is one I will definitely brag about to everyone.

I researched all the salons in Buffalo and this was my first choice. I made a few other appointments but canceled them after my first appointment at MA Carr. My stylist was super sweet, attentive and very helpful. I tried on a few dresses I didn't like so she brought different options next time. We went over our time a little and she didn't mind. I found my dress that day and came back a week later to put a deposit down. Even on my wedding day I was absolutely obsessed with my dress. I would recommend this place to any future brides a 100%!!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!
Our consultant, Melissa, asked all the right questions and listened carefully to my daughter's responses. She collected several options, staying within our budget. The first 3 dresses were beautiful, but not perfect. Mary Anne, the owner, was willing to suggest alterations to accommodate my daughter's preferences. When Melissa presented dress #4, we all knew it was "the one" - actual tears all around, and sincere happiness from the staff. Best feeling ever! And to find the perfect veil, as well, was wonderful. I can't speak highly enough how in tune Melissa was to our needs. It truly was the best mother-daughter experience of my life :)

M.A. Carr was perfect for everything related to my wedding dress. I went in not thinking I was even going to purchase a wedding dress at all (I was going to restore my mom's), and walked out with the dress of my dreams. I never realized how happy the perfect dress could make you feel. They stayed within my budget and really understood my personality, style, and vision for the wedding, and helped me find a few great options. I absolutely loved my dress. The alterations were perfect, and it was the only strapless dress that I've ever had that stayed up with absolutely no movement.

My mom also found the perfect mother of the bride dress at M.A. Carr last minute at my fitting - she had one picked out, but there was a sale and the most gorgeous perfect dress for her was on mega sale and it worked out perfectly!

This was the first place that I tried on wedding gowns and boy was the staff helpful. The women that work there are helpful and know exactly what they are doing. The prices of the gowns are awesome as well. We also went there for the bridesmaids dresses!

5 Stars across the board for this amazing bridal shop ! I met with their consultant Erin when I came in to look at wedding dresses with my mom, future mother-in-law, maid of honor, and other family and found the dress of my dreams that night. I showed Erin a few pictures from TheKnot's lookbook so she could get a sense of what I really liked and what I didn't. She put me in a few of the gowns I had saved from the lookbook, and also used her own recommendations for me based on my style. She put me in a beautiful Essense of Australia dress I never would have tried on by myself, but it suited my personality and my body type perfectly.

Erin was patient while I tried on each gown, talked through things I liked and didn't like about particular styles, and pulled more dresses for me based on my preferences. She was so understanding when I wanted to try different gowns on twice (or three times...) and let me stay in the gown I ultimately chose to walk around the salon while I mulled it over a little bit.

The dress was ordered and came in relatively quickly. The awesome girls offered to let me come in anytime I wanted to see "my dress" before my real gown came in; they were so sweet. I also ordered a headband from M. A. Carr. It was super pricey, but suited the dress and the handmade veil perfectly. I received so many compliments on my gown, but the best one I received was that people said it was so "me."

Erin's experience, patience, and recommendation put me in the dress of my dreams for my wedding, and I cannot thank the staff of M. A. Carr Bridal enough for helping me say YES to that gorgeous dress. Thank you, Erin !!

Everyone at M.A. Carr were so wonderful to work with! I went in with a list of style #'s as well as max budget. They pulled numerous dresses from my list, and started trying on right away. They were all very polite to me and my bridal party who went with me. They were awesome to work with, in and out and back into dresses and they were so nice about it(I went back and forth between a couple a few times HA) I picked out a dress that needed to be custom made for my height and they were so great with my appointments for measurements along with every time I called to check the status(I tried my best to keep these calls to a minimum!). My dress came in with no flaws which kept my alterations to a minimum as it was already made for my height. I had fun and a huge smile on my face every visit with them and would ABSOLUTELY recommend them!

I had a such a great experience today at M.A. Carr with my consultant Melissa. When there were some choices I liked but was unsure about she agreed to take one more look in the gallery to see if she could blow us away, and she did. She listened to exactly what I wanted, encouraged me to try things I was unsure about to help me uncover my style, and ultimately found for me my perfect dress. And I had the opportunity to try on so many beautiful gowns in one visit so I didn't have to overwhelm myself with multiple visits to multiple salons. A huge plus because of my indecisive nature. I am one step closer to saying "I do" and in part because of this experience even more excited.

I loved every but of my experience with MA CARR!! They were so wonderful and so accommodating as I had to come from out of town for all of my fittings. They helped me find not only my dream dress but my bridesmaid dress, jewelry, my veil...everything!! LOVE them!!

M. A. Carr was the first place I had tried on bridal gowns and I had the best experience. My stylist, Melissa, first put me in every different silhouette so I could get a feel for the fit of the dresses and once I had decided on which silhouette I liked the most, she went back and picked out dresses that fit the style/material that I had discussed with her. I tried on numerous dresses since it was my first time ever trying on dresses and Melissa was so patient and kind the entire time! She made me feel very comfortable while trying on the dresses and she picked out so many dresses that were exactly what I had described to her! I fell in love with one dress but didn't pull the trigger since I had other appointments that day and the day following but after we left the salon, I couldn't get the dress out of my head! I tried on additional dresses the next day but ended up returning to M. A. Carr to purchase the dress of my dreams!

I also got my dress altered through M. A. Carr and their alterations staff was great! My dress (fortunately) did not need too much altering but the seamstress adjusted the waistline, added in cups to my dress and made the bustle and my dress looked absolutely perfect the day of my wedding. I received so many compliments on how beautiful my dress was and I felt like a princess all night long.

I could not be happier that I chose M. A. Carr for my wedding dress!

I can't begin to explain how happy I was with M.A. Carr! After visiting a couple other bridal shops I ended up at M.A. Carr with a few ideas, the consultant was able to pull all of my ideas together and bring me dresses I probably would have passed by on the rack! I didn't feel rushed or crunched for time like I did at other bridal salons, they were very patient and attentive. I found my perfect dress on my first visit! M.A. Carr also helped find all of my bridesmaids dresses and well as my mothers dress! Everyone was very welcoming and helpful from the first call to make an appointment to to last fitting appointment when I got to take my dress home! Thank you M.A. Carr, I will definitely be recommending you to anyone looking for their wedding dress, and I already have been!!

I went to pretty much every bridal salon in Buffalo and M. A. Carr was by far the BEST! Every single consultant was so friendly and knowledgeable. I came into the salon with a list of dresses that I saw on their website and my consultant was extremely accommodating. My consultant was able to look at the dresses I had selected and find the perfect combination of all of them. Also, the prices at M. A. Carr were the best! One of the dresses that I was thinking of purchasing was at another salon and I found the same one at M. A. Carr for several hundred dollars less! Finally, the alterations were extremely affordable and the seamstress is a miracle worker! I will definitely be recommending M. A. Carr to everyone I know!

M. A. Carr is the best Bridal Salon in Buffalo! I had a terrible experience at a competing salon, and called M. A. Carr to see if they had any appointments that same day. They let me do a walk in appointment and I had the most attentive and friendly person helping me, even with the salon being extremely busy and me being a walk in. She asked me about my wedding, what I had in mind and made recommendations based on my price point and style. Within half an hour she had brought me the perfect dress! I was able to say "yes" to a dress on my first visit. I had been to a couple other salons, and no one had the service that M. A. Carr offers. Even on my follow up visits, I have been treated so well, and each time I feel welcomed and special. They have been my favorite vendor to work with so far!

I made two visits to M.A. Carr and each time I was greeted very well. This is the true bridal gown shopping experience. You are assigned an assistant that caters to you the entire time. We were with Ally and she is amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, attentive to my questions and opinions. She would ask what I liked and what I didn't like and that way she came up with the perfect gown. I couldn't be happier. My situation was a bit different and only have 3 months before my wedding, yet Ally made it work and brought me more than enough options. I would recommend this shop to anyone that is getting married or looking for any type of bridal attire. I went to two other places and this is by far the best. This was absolutely the best part of my wedding planning!

I would highly recommend shopping at M.A. Carr. It was my first ever bridal appointment and I was both nervous and excited. My consultant was amazing, she was extremely helpful and pulled out everything I asked for within my budget. She nailed it and I tried on about ten, knowing which ones I DIDN'T want immediately. I never felt overwhelmed or uncomfortable, and ended up buying the first one I tried on! And it is true that you will know which dress is for you, I'm not a crier but the second time I put mine on I burst into tears. Can't get much more of a sign than that!

MA Carr helped me to find the dress of my dreams. Being an out of town bride M.A. Carr was wonderful to work with! The store has a great selection and everyone at the store was very accommodating. I knew going into the store for the first time that I wanted to try on a dress from the Hayley Paige line. In the state where I live none of the bridal stores carried that particular line. I tried on one dress from the line that I thought was going to be the one, but came to find out that it wasn't. I then tried on the Dori dress and fell in love. I was able to find my dress, veil, head piece, as well as my bridesmaid dresses at M.A. Carr. Many of my bridesmaids were also from out of town, and they also found working with M.A. Carr to be a great experience. Additionally, I got my alterations done in the store and they turned out great! They were also reasonably priced. I would without hesitation recommend M.A. Carr to any Buffalo bride!

The ladies at M.A. Carr were fabulous. Erin was amazing. She was right there to help me find the perfect dress. Her caring and easy going personality made it so easy to say yes to the beautiful and unique dress. I cannot stop thinking about my experience and the dress. I tried on so many dresses and I still went back to that one dress. Erin was so nice and helped me feel that my decision was the right one. She never rushed me and let me stay in that dress as long as I needed. This meant a lot to me. Erin was amazing with helping with picking out bridesmaid dresses to go along with my dress. MA Carr made mine and my bridesmaid's dress buying experience completely stress free! Erin was able to help me find my dress with ease, and made me feel so special in the moment that I got to say yes to the dress! Every time I came into the salon, everyone working there was so friendly and helpful and allowed me to really soak in the excitement of trying on my dress! I ended up ordering my dress in a custom length because it would be tough to hem due to the detail on the train, and Mary Ann was wonderful when it came to measuring me for that to ensure it would be perfect! Two of my bridesmaids live out of town, and they were so helpful in getting their dresses ordered, and even shipped it to them once they came in! Every step of the way they are so professional, friendly and detail oriented which made the entire dress process seamless! Our wedding on July 18th was perfect, and MA Carr Bridal absolutely contributed to that! I would recommend MA Carr to any bride for her dress and also for her bridesmaids!!

My experience was amazing! I had a specific idea in mind of what I wanted and when I tried that style on, I realized it was not for me. The staff at MA Carr worked with me to select another style that I fell in love with. Everyone is genuinely excited for you and happy to be a part of your dress shopping experience. M.A. Carr made my dress buying experience wonderful! The consultants worked with me one on one to help me find my dress. They asked questions and really listened to my feelings of each dress I tried on until they pulled the perfect one that had EVERYTHING I was looking for. Being a plus sized bride, I didn't think I would find the dress I was dreaming of, but they proved me wrong! They even accommodated my entourage and made them feel comfortable for the 2+ hours of dress trying.

I went to MA Carr looking for a dress I found in a bridal magazine and MA Carr was the closest bridal shop near me that carried it. They are an hour and a half away from where I live, so I really hoped this dress was going to be the one. Melissa was my consultant and I couldn't imagine a better person to help me. She was so helpful in helping me select the perfect dress and was honest with her opinions when I asked for them. She made me feel confident in the selection I made (which was the dress I went out there for and was the first dress I tried on!!) Jillian was also extremely helpful. She was quick in always calling me back and answering all the questions I had. I still need to go for alterations, but my experience with them so far as been great. I am so happy I traveled the extra miles and found this shop! I would highly recommend MA Carr to anyone looking for their bridal dress!

I am so happy I got my dress from MA Carr Bridal. I live an hour away from the shop, so they were really great with working with me as far as booking appointments and getting me in. The girls there are great! Melissa was great in helping me find the styles I was looking for and didn't try to "push" me into going over my budget or put me in styles I wasn't interested in. She was honest with her opinions when I asked for them and made me feel confident with the dress I picked. Jillian was also really great with returning my phone calls promptly and answering all the questions I had. I am so happy I traveled the extra miles to go to this shop! This was the first and only place I went to find my dress! While I had a pretty clear vision of what I wanted, they still offered me about four to five other styles to try. My consultant had no problem at all when I was torn between two different dresses and had to try each one on about 3 times:) When my dress came in, i went to try it on and it's beautiful!! Everyone at M. A. Carr makes you feel special and as though you're their only customer. They were all so friendly and helpful and asked me all about my fiance and my wedding. My bridesmaids dresses will also be through M. A. Carr. They have superior quality and amazing customer service! I cannot wait to wear my dress on my wedding day!

Upon walking into M.A. Carr I wasn't sure if I would find any dress within my budget. I was very surprised by how well Melissa understood exactly what I was looking for. She really went above and beyond and was so patient with me as a tried to find my dress. I found my dress and really enjoyed the entire process! I will definitely be returning to M.A. Carr to pick out my bridesmaids' dresses!

We purchased our daughter's wedding gown at MA Carr and had a wonderful experience. After going to a chain bridal store and being thoroughly discouraged, our consultant Erin pulled the type of dresse our daughter was looking for. She ended up purchasing the first dress she tried on! As our daughter lives out of state we were afraid fittings would be an issue. But the seamstress, Karen, fit our daughter in and altered the dress to fit her perfectly! The staff is polite and very knowledgeable and helped to make our daughter's wedding everything she dreamed of!

I found M.A. Carr online. After reviewing their amazing website, I found the dress that I had to have! It was my first time trying on wedding dresses. I went to the boutique on Sunday (yes- they are open Sundays!!). I had the pleasure of meeting MaryAnn Carr which took the time to ask me what I was looking for and which designer I preferred (she has an amazing collection..) So many styles & designers to fit every body style and everything is in stock. The dress that I was obsessed with was "Lourdes" by David Tutera. I learned that M.A. Carr is one of just 15 stores nationally that are selected to sell this designer- very impressive! When I saw this dress, I knew it was the one... It was the first bridal gown that I had tried on and the last! It is nothing short of breathtaking and stunning, absolute perfection. Melissa is my consultant. She made me feel very comfortable and took her time to show me other options as well as veils, tiaras, headpieces, etc. My experience was outstanding. The price of my dress was well within my budget. I couldn't be happier with my experience and highly recommend that if you are looking for a dress- make M.A. Carr your first stop!! You will not be disappointed!

This was the last place I looked for my bridal dress and it was by far the best! Karen did an amazing job on my alterations.

First of all, I fell in love with this place and the staff when my girlfriend chose them for her dress and our bridesmaids dresses. They were so helpful and made us all feel comfortable. When it became my turn, I knew exactly where the first place was I would check for my dream dress: M. A. Carr. I brought my mom, my MOH, and 2 of my bridesmaids. When I said I wanted to bring champagne, they had no problems. We had the front area to ourselves. It was like I had my own fashion show going on with me as the model. I walked in there with one idea of what I thought I wanted. After trying on about 10 dresses in that style, I realized that was not for me. The associate I worked with didn't sigh or complain when I told her I didn't like any of them and wanted to try something else. She went back and got 10 more dresses of all different styles. I found THE ONE in that mix. As my ladies put it, it had the awe factor. On top of being patient with me, they had many dresses in all price ranges. I walked in there with a budget of less than a grande and my dream dress was $900!! I was so happy. I cannot wait for my dress to come in so I can go back and put it on again. It was the easiest part of this whole wedding planning experience.

MA Carr was the first (and only) shop I visited to find my wedding dress. Dahlia was wonderful - I went in with a very specific idea of what I wanted and after I tried on 4 dresses in a style that I liked, she brought me a dress that I never would have picked for myself. Of course when I tried it on, I absolutely loved it and said yes to the dress! Thank you Dahlia! Later, Karen tailored the dress for me so it fit me perfectly. I got so many wonderful compliments on my dress on the big day. From my consultation to the final fitting, all the ladies at MA Carr were so friendly. I was always greeted with a smile when I went there. I had a great experience at MA Carr!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Ma Carr, from beginning to end! Ma Carr was the first bridal store I went to in search for my gown. Erin, my consultant was wonderful! She listened to my requests, was very helpful, personable, and sincere. I never once felt she was trying to push a sell, and never felt pressured to make a decision on a dress (which I did feel at another bridal store). I left Ma carr without a dress, but a strong front runner. I visited 3 more bridal stores, but the experiences at the other stores could not compare, and I knew I wanted to buy my dress from Ma carr. I went back and bought my original front runner. Once ordered, my dress took longer to arrive than originally expected due to a custom hemline for my petite height(which was NOT an option at other bridal stores), but Ma Carr was very attentive to this and made several calls and follow up calls to the manufacturer and I, to which I was VERY impressed and appreciative. Karen was a pleasure to work with the minor alterations that I needed. Everyone at Ma carr is very warm and welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend Ma carr when looking for your bridal gown. I can’t wait to wear mine in two days!

The ladies at MA Carr were beyond incredible. My dress was stunning and Jill was able to tailor it perfectly for a one of a kind- show stopping look. All of the staff genuinely cared about making sure I had the best possible experience from the second I sat down with Dahlia to go through my wedding vision and start looking at dresses until the final fitting and alterations with Jill. They are the best!

MA Carr was the first and only bridal dress store I went to. I looked at their website online and find my dress before even stepping into their store or trying it on. When I first walked into MA Carr everyone was so friendly, I took of my shoe and immediately felt comfortable. Erin was my bridal consultant. She was absolutly wonderful. I told her the dress i wanted to try on and the style of the dress I was looking for. I tried on 3 dresses before trying on the MY DRESS. It was love at first sight. I felt like a bride, I felt beautiful. I not only found my dress here, but I bought my 8 bridesmaid dresses from here as well. They treated my bridesmaid with the same respect and friendlyness they treated me with. I would highly recommend all Brides to check out Ma Carr, you won't be disappointed.

Words can’t begin to describe how wonderful my experience has been with M.A Carr. The staff is extremely friendly, professional, caring, and respectful of all budgets! My wedding consultant truly found my dream dress, as well as, my bridesmaid dresses. The girls at M.A Carr honestly care about every bride. They know you by name and share your excitement with every step in the process. After visiting every salon in Buffalo, I truly believe that M.A Carr has the highest quality dresses, as well as, the most amazing staff.

As a very offbeat bride and non-traditional I made the trip to M.A. Carr bridal as a surprise for my mother's birthday. I knew it meant the world for her to see her only daughter try on dresses, even though it wasn't my cup of tea. I went in the bridal shop with my closest allies: my mom, best friend, sisterinlaw and niece.... keeping an open mind I promised myself to just have fun with it and see what happens (afterall there was a date set for the wedding and I needed to start somewhere!). As someone who was always turned off by bridal shops, M. A. Carr completely changed my views. Everyone was extremely helpful and accomodating. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience in a world of which I never felt comfortable. Dahlia listened to the few things I was looking for in a dress and pulled a great selection. I tried on the 2nd dress and was in tears, I could not ask for a better moment. Some girls wait their whole life to feel that "moment" when they know they've found the dress they want to marry in. I wasn't even looking for that moment and I got it!!!! It was the best moment ever; not a dry eye in the shop.
The owner sat me down and took my measurements and went over the contract. There was absolutely no pressure on sizing etc. Hugs and photos were exchanged. Now, the countdown until I can pick up my dress!!! It's all I think about. Thank you to M.A. Carr Bridal for showing me how it feels to be a bride!!!!!

As a picky perfectionist, when I began shopping for my gown I was a bit fearful I wasn't going to find a dress. Then I met Melissa and all the girls at M.A. Carr and my fears were erased! Melissa knew exactly what I was looking for when I don't think I knew it myself - she found my dream dress! And then she helped with every accessory following - a sash that I fell in love with and truly made the dress, and a veil that couldn't have been more perfect. I also got my bridesmaid dresses there - Melissa helped find those too - and they were absolutely perfect! The service there is second-to-none and they make every bride feel so special - even the consultants I hadn't worked with greeted me by name every time we walked in! M.A. Carr is an exceptional place with amazing staff - I would send any bride there to have the wonderful experience that I did!

I went into M A Carr knowing exactly what I wanted, hoping they had the dress of my dreams. I was so thrilled to find out that they did. All 5 of my bridesmaids, my mother, my aunt, and my mother-in-law were there to see me reveal the dress I would wear on my special day. There were quite a few of us but the associates were so accommodating. Every visit was so pleasant, one last thing I had to worry about. As I walked down the aisle to my husband on the big day I saw him turn to his best man and say "doesn't she look gorgeous?" This is a moment I will never forget and it would not have been possible without Mary Ann Carr and her staff.

I just left M.A. Carr and cannot put into words what a WONDERFUL experience I had. I felt extremely comfortable and my nerves were immediately calmed. Dahlia (sorry about the spelling) was an amazing person to work with, she listened to my feelings and what I wanted and I felt she instantly "got" my vision. Not once did I feel rushed during our appointment (which lasted 2+ hours). I never felt pressured to make a decision or purchase. This was my first time trying on gowns and I ended up with a beautiful dress and veil. Thank you to the wonderful ladies of M.A. Carr!!!!!!!!

The girls at M A Carr made finding my wedding dress an enjoyable, simple process. It was the 1st place I went to try on dresses and by listening to what I was looking for, I found my dress right away. I live out of town and they were very accommodating with scheduling trials and fittings for when I was able to come into town. There was a problem with two of my bridesmaids dresses (the company's fault, not theirs) and they went above and beyond to fix the issue. Thanks again!

I went to M.A Carr feeling very anxious. It was my very first time trying on wedding dresses and I had absolutely no idea what kind of dress I wanted. As soon as I met with my consultant Melissa all my anxiety was gone. She assured me that we would try on as many dresses as I could handle and took me step by step on what to look for in my perfect dress. Never once did I feel rushed or uncomfortable. An hour and a half (Yes, they actually spend time with you) I found my dress! After, I met with the owner Mary Ann Carr, who answers every question you could possibly have. She never makes you sign anything until you feel 100% comfortable! My experience here was nothing short of amazing. I would recommend M.A. Carr Bridal to any and every bride.

Loved my dress! It was perfect and no other dresses I tried compared to it! I tried on dresses at Kleinfelds and at Vera Wang in NYC and budget was not in issue and still chose the dress at MA Carr, it was absolute perfection! The seamstress was amazing and and had many appts with me and took the time to show my bridal party how to get me into it many times! Great place and highly recommend choosing them for your dress!

Thank you so much to M.A. Carr for helping me find my perfect dress! I tried on MANY different dresses and they were extremely patient with me. They asked me what I liked and what I didn't like and they gave me many amazing options to choose from. They were very organized throughout the entire process and once I picked my perfect dress, they scheduled my fittings and everything went very smoothly! The seamstress that I worked with was very nice and very helpful and she made the finishing touches on my dress look flawless. The level of professionalism, one on one service, and honest excitement and delight a bride will experience at MA Carr is like no other. I would not recommend a bride to go anywhere else for their dream dress!! My wedding dress was the most beautiful, elegant, stunning dress that I could have ever found. The custom alterations were impeccable, flawless, and the way the dress fit me was priceless. My dream dress became mine and wasn’t a dream after working with MA Carr.

MA Carr was one of three local bridal shops that I visited on my search for a wedding dress. My other experiences had been fine, but the service that I received at MA Carr was over the top amazing. Everyone there was friendly, helpful, and professional. Despite my giving the vaguest description possible, Rebekah pulled dress after dress that was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. The reception lighting in their dressing area sealed the deal. I felt completely informed throughout the entire process - from trying on, to ordering, to altering... I was just so impressed.

Though they didn't carry the specific bridesmaid dress that I had fallen in love with and absolutely needed to have, they special ordered them so that my girls would get the 10% discount and not have to travel to Rochester to pick them up. I can't tell you how helpful they were.

Every single aspect of my experience with MA Carr exceeded my expectations. I would recommend them to any and everyone. You'd be crazy to go anywhere else!

I said YES to the Dress today!!! My Sophia Tolli Gown is everything and more I could ever imagine. From walking through the door to exiting I just had a wonderful expierence, Melissa met with me and went over my budget 1k-2k, what I expected and liked in a dress, she then pulled beautiful gowns and on the second gown, which I was unsure of on the hanger ended up being the ONE. Its like shes pyschic and knows exactly what you like and what looks absolutely stunning, :) it was definitly a wow factor gown and under budget at $1,500 tax included :). But not only my consultant every girl in the Bridal Shop was just terrific they were all so friendly and helpful! I can not wait to go back for my bridesmaid, flowergirls, MOB and MOG dress, this shop is so worth doing the whole works for my entourage :)
