Kate of Luna Weddings was amazing to work with for our wedding this past May. We knew we wanted to have a very intimate ceremony on the beach in Costa Rica (our favorite place) and had no idea how to plan it, so we reached out to Kate and immediately knew she was who we needed. Our micro wedding was literally better than we could’ve imagined, from the set up, florals, timeline, food, everything was perfection. Thank you Kate!! -

Covid scuppered our original plans so it really was a spontaneous decision to get married in Costa Rica, so much so that we decided just two weeks before departure! Still I wanted my day to be special and set out with some high demands for such short notice! I wanted to get married on Tamarind beach, I had a one week window, I needed a hairdresser and make up artist, I wanted my wedding photos to capture the beauty of Costa Rica...oh and i had no idea about the license so they needed to sort that out too....and witnesses as it would be just the two of us. Honestly, I thought it was unachievable, but by some miracle it seems we found the best wedding planner in Costa Rica because Kate left no stone unturned and achieved what i thought was unachievable - we even had the photographer we requested, the flowers we perfect. I cannot recommend highly enough - Kate, you are amazing and you made our wedding day perfect! X -

Where to begin? My husband and I are from the States and we were married in Tamarindo this past weekend (May 2025). We started planning our destination wedding 1.5 years ago and Kate was one of the first and best decisions we made throughout our planning journey! Every step of the way, Kate was available to chat over What’s App or Google Meets, ensuring that all of our questions were answered and getting to know us as a couple. Her calm energy and humor guided us happily throughout the whole journey. I have experience planning weddings and did not want to be overwhelmed by logistics of course, and I had a specific vision in mind that Kate understood so well and executed every detail perfectly. It was smooth sailing from start to finish thanks to Kate and the rest of the team. It was so special to visit last year and do a full walkthrough and discuss details in person as well. I don’t know what we would do without her! We both thoroughly enjoyed our wedding and were able to stay present. Afterwards, many of our guests came up to us and said it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. All of our thanks goes to Kate and Luna Weddings for helping plan the best wedding and coordinating with top vendors who exceeded our expectations. We hope to visit Kate next time we are in Tamarindo and keep up a friendship as time goes on. Please do not think twice before booking Luna Weddings! -

100% the right choice!
Luna weddings ALL THE WAY. Kate must have been delivered directly from the heavens. She took my vision and made it come to life- I couldn’t believe it! She’s SO responsive, funny, and easy to work with. She is always available and has amazing suggestions if you need them. She even let me know if something wasn’t worth the $$, which I appreciate so much! I would have random moments of panic about small details and Kate always assured me that I had nothing to worry about and she was absolutely right! I can’t recommend this service enough. My wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her! Thank you so so SO much! -

Working with Kate at Luna Weddings for our beach elopement in Costa Rica was an absolute dream. From the get-go, she made everything so easy and fun.
She was super chill and on top of everything. Every time we had a question or a random idea, Kate was quick to respond and super helpful.
The beach spot she picked was out of this world—with the most epic sunset. The setup was perfect, with beautiful flowers and decorations that fit right in with the natural beauty of the place. We were totally blown away! She also set us up with a fantastic photographer and the food at our small reception was delicious.
Kate took care of everything so we didn’t have to stress about a single thing. Even when a little rain threatened our plans, she handled it like a pro and made sure our day went smoothly. She also got us a private catamaran tour the day before which was a huge hit with everyone.
