  Pure Artistry

  Luminous Photography, Mike and his wife provided us with creative ideas and excellent direction for poses and backgrounds that resulted in stunning photographs. The originality and eye for detail, knowledge of best lighting is demonstrated by their artistry. They also are experts at organization and bringing calmness when things get hectic for bride and groom. Their flexibility to attend various events during the wedding ceremony and reception allowed us to have the entire event captured in photographs. We had so many great pictures to choose from it was hard to select the favorites for our album. The selection process and the making of the album is a very easy process to maneuver as well.

  Engagement Picture Perfection

  Mike and Heather were the perfect team for our engagement pictures. They really listened to our vision and were able to capture our personalities perfectly in both candid and posed pictures. They were absolutely fabulous to work with and their photo quality is unmatched!

  Getting to work with Mike and Heather was such a wonderful experience on our big day! They were incredibly professional, kind, and helpful throughout all of both planning and our wedding day. There's a lot that goes on during a wedding day, but they helped us relax and enjoy all of the photography process and we both greatly appreciate that from them! They were always happy and helpful and every part of working with them went smoothly! We absolutely love the pictures that they took of us! They did such a wonderful job capturing both formal and candid photos of everyone at the wedding and captured the day incredibly well. The style of the pictures truly is timeless and we know that we will enjoy them forever! I can't recommend them enough!

  The best decision we made

  Where to begin! Finding the right photographer for the biggest moment of your life is quite intimidating. Hiring Mike & Heather for both our engagement photos and our wedding was by far the best decision we made while planning our wedding. Not only are the the most down to earth and cool people, their photos are stunning. They made us feel so comfortable and confident and captured EVERY detail we could have wanted. And they were efficient! We actually got to enjoy our wedding! We couldn't be happier in our decision and will cherish the photos forever.

  So pleased with our photos!

  Mike and Heather did such a fabulous job of capturing our special day! Since we are an older couple on our second marriages, it was not important to us to have all the traditional wedding shots. We asked them to capture the celebration and they did not disappoint. Hire them! You won't regret it!

  Thankful we booked Michael & Heather for our wedding photography! Best decision ever!

  After seeing our friends photos from their wedding we knew we had to have Michael & Heather capture our big day. From start to finish we were met with professionalism, friendliness & confidence. We were married at the courthouse and did a mini session with Mike & Heather before marrying. We both felt extremely comfortable in their presence and their ideas for poses. They are a laid back couple local to Charlotte, and they are super easy to work with. The pricing is fair, and they offer several different packages to ensure that you only pay for what you need.
  On the wedding day, Mike and Heather both arrived on time and ready to go. They, along with our coordinator, kept us on time without being intrusive or overbearing, as we'd heard many photographers can be.

  Mike and Heather were an absolute joy to work with! Mike assisted us with so much more than just photography. We set up timelines and created organization out of the pure chaos that comes with having a wedding during a pandemic. Our venue owners raved on his professionalism and attention to detail. His photos were truly unique and the techy gadgets he used to create photos that were unique blew our minds!
