We had Justin DJ our wedding and it is not an exaggeration to say he made our wedding night. It has become hard to keep track of the amount of compliments we have received about our dancefloor and it is all thanks to Justin! He is a master of his craft, and was able to read the crowd to play music to keep the dancefloor full for the entirety of the night. No joke, it never thinned out and guests left gleaming from how much fun they had to the tracks Justin was spinning. We had many friends that are currently engaged and planned to get married outside of MI, and are talking about how to get Justin to DJ their weddings! Additionally, Justin helped make a very memorable reception speech possible by mixing in music to make a mo-town inspired speech a great success! Finally, Justin is just a great person. He is kind, professional, communicative and really listened to what we wanted out of our day and over delivered. We are so thankful for Justin!

Luke Absolutely Rocks!

LuFru Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Right off the bat we knew we would be in good hands with Luke. He is incredibly down to earth, professional, and easy going. He can accommodate any of your wants the day-off, and help when inspiration is needed. It was amazing watching him work; his set-up is amazing and he is so talented! There was never a point in the night people were not dancing. He set the ultimate vibe :) Thank you Luke!

Highly Recommend Lufru Entertainment!

We hired Luke for our July 2023 wedding and could not have been more impressed. He was extremely professional, thoughtful, and attentive to every detail. He listened to our vision and executed it perfectly! He kept the dance floor going all night. At the end of the night people didn't want to leave because they were having too much fun dancing! You need Luke!

You NEED to hire Luke!! As someone who loves to dance and is very particular about my music, I knew the DJ for our wedding was one of the most important pieces! As soon as I watched Luke’s demos I knew we had to have him. He does an amazing job of reading the crowd and keeping the energy high so that the dance floor is always full. At times it seemed like he was reading our minds and playing exactly the songs we wanted to hear. He will elevate your wedding and make sure everyone has fun! Highly recommend him!

Our Guests Loved DJ Luke

Luke was the DJ at our wedding and he was phenomenal! He was easy to communicate with and the online platform he uses helped us share an organized schedule and our song preferences with him. DJ Justin made our reception a blast!

DJ Justin Reed was fantastic as the DJ at our wedding reception! Many of our guests commented on what a wonderful job he did selecting songs and transitioning between them. The planning process was easy thanks to the portal we used to outline our schedule and submit song suggestions. Justin played our suggestions in between a bevy of songs he chose to match the ambience we were hoping for throughout the night. His music selection was great, emceeing job was awesome, and was a pleasure to work with and have at our wedding!

Amazing experience with Lufru Entertainment!

We had an amazing experience working with Justin from Lufru Entertainment! I cannot recommend him highly enough. From our first conversation it was clear that Justin is an incredibly talented DJ, but also one who cares immensely about a couple's vision for their wedding and making that come to life. One of my favorite things about working with Justin is his ability to "read the room" and understand what people are enjoying, what's getting them on the dance floor, what kind of music is working for a particular crowd, etc. We requested a few of songs for our reception, but mostly left the choice up to Justin, and I'm *so* glad we did. He had guests dancing all night long, and even had those who don't typically dance at weddings up on their feet. He did a flawless job on the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. Justin made our special day SO MUCH FUN. Plus he's also just super fun to work and plan with, so there's that too. You will not regret it if you chose to work with Justin for your wedding!

Simply the best!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Justin Reed DJ our wedding last month and he did not disappoint. When we originally booked him during the height of COVID, he was amazing at working through the gambit of questions and concerns we had via video conference. As our wedding approached this year, he quickly got back to us and even took time out of his schedule to meet us @ our venue 30 days out to ensure he would be properly set up with the right equipment. He also spent quite a few hours leading up to our day going over our song preferences and speech details to ensure he had everything fully fledged out to meet our expectations. On our actual wedding day, pure perfection and expertise is the best way to describe Justin’s work. He arrived early, made sure he was ready to go on time, and delivered an absolute stellar performance. Huge shoutout is in order for him being able to particularly keep his cool and figure out when the venue providing power tripped a breaker and shut down his equipment 5 minutes before our ceremony started. He remained calm, made sure we had no idea of the issue, and got everything back up and running to be able to execute his flawless performance. If you’re considering LuFru for your big day, and Justin is available, do yourself a favor and book him. You will absolutely not be disappointed at his level of professionalism and expert craft to deliver perfect DJ services for your day. Thank you thank you thank you Justin!!!

Stop Searching for a DJ. Luke is Your Guy.

Stop considering other options. Luke is your guy. You can read the many other glowing reviews on this site, but here's why WE loved him:

1) He stuck with us through a postponement and a seriously downsized wedding.
2) When we thought our venue would not allow dancing, he agreed to MC a giant bingo game without a second thought (though he did get let off the hook on this one).
3) He managed to pack the dance floor at a fairly small wedding (35 guests) of family only... with wide musical tastes. He read the room and kept the party going.
4) Most importantly, he's just a good dude. Like, my dad find out he was a cyclist and now he wants to go on bike rides with him. I get it... I want to hang out with Luke too.

Seriously, look no further. Lufru Entertainment all the way!!!

The best!

Let me start off by saying- you WILL NOT be disappointed with Luke. We worked with Luke from the very start and went through wedding date changes AND wedding venue changes. He made everything so easy, even in the time of COVID. His online planner is amazing and so simple to use. He answered every single question and every single email I ever sent him (again, COVID)...

But the real showstopper was watching him go to work. He is so insanely talented, and had EVERYONE dancing and enjoying the night. He knows exactly what to play and when to play it. We could not have asked for a better DJ. From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to cake cutting & our first dance... and then the real fun of dancing all night... he blew us away! Trust me.... YOU WANT LUKE AS YOUR DJ!!!!!

Tremendously talented!

We hired Luke to provide sound for our wedding ceremony and DJ the reception. We really enjoyed working with him from the start. Specifically, we appreciated how organized he was (he uses an online planner tool that's very user friendly), accessible for questions/ideas, and exceptionally creative. Together with a list of songs we uploaded to his online planner and a couple of phone conversations, Luke crafted a collection of music that was perfect for us and our guests! His music was so dynamic and kept everyone on their feet. To echo what a lot of other reviewers stated, many of our guests also said Luke's the best they've ever heard at a wedding. "Best DJ we have ever heard!!"-our wedding guests

We made the absolute PERFECT decision when choosing Luke to be our hype man for our wedding earlier this month! Working with Luke was seamless. He took the time to get to know us on our initial visit, allowed us to ask questions, and he really took the time figure out the vibe of our wedding! From here, the process was simple! We were able to create our own Spotify playlist so he could see the music we listen to and pull from at the wedding if needed and he had a portal so we could schedule out our wedding day and the music we wanted to hear at that specific time. This portal was so helpful to have for planning our entire wedding as well!

During the ceremony Luke was able to set up mic's and a complete sound system! It was the absolute best audio that I've ever heard during a wedding. YES LUKE!

After the ceremony, it was AMAZING! He played banger after banger in the dance barn :) Our guests continued to come up to us saying it was the BEST reception they have every been to. Luke was always keeping the party going and was open to getting requests from our guests while keeping his vibe flowing! We can't say enough good things about how he controlled the dance floor, our first dances, and introducing us at dinner. It seriously was the most epic party we have been a part of thanks to Luke!

Best Wedding DJ

Luke is the BEST DJ EVER! We saw Luke at one of our friend's wedding two years before our wedding and we knew when we got married we wanted to use Luke as our DJ. Luke was very professional and accommodating to all of our wedding needs. Anything we asked for he said yes. At the end of the night our wedding party and guests were all on the dance floor and it was the best way to end our special day. His lights also added extra excitement to our dance floor.

Great Service

Luke provided audio services for our ceremony and reception. He was extremely professional and had the party going all night on the dance floor. Luke was incredible. The entire process of working with him was smooth and he was so easy to work with. He was also very flexible on the day of the wedding as many things were adjusted and altered along the way. Luke is a great all-around guy and is incredibly genuine. Best wedding dance party!

100% recommend Luke to everyone!!

I had a wedding at a venue that required sound in 3 separate spaces - outdoor ceremony, dinner in a tent, and the dance floor indoors. Luke brought everything to seamlessly move between spaces - creating a set up for each that fit our needs. Sound levels and quality was perfect for all parts of the event. He even had wind reduction for the mics for the ceremony.

Luke helped us build a great schedule and sound plan. His website allows you to input everything from the special dances, to entrance songs, to dance songs, and do not play songs... It kept us super organized. Luke was also flexible - we cut the cake right after cocktails because the cake was melting - hot weather - and he easily made the adjustment in timeline. When we wanted to be specific Luke built playlists based on our requests (dancing), but when we wanted to be general (jazz during dinner but not too experimental) he took the work off our hands.

We had an epic dance party with only 85 guests and about a dozen of them were elderly non-dancers. Luke brought some impressive equipment, and he is a talented DJ! He read the crowd really well. The dancing was the part of the event I received the most compliments on (besides my dress). People of all ages kept coming up to me telling me we had the best wedding DJ ever - both younger cousins and older aunts and uncles. He never let the energy drop too much and we were all sad when it had to end.

Importantly, Luke is easy to work with, responsive, and a really nice guy. I would hire him again without hesitation!

Luke Knows Exactly What He's Doing

From beginning to end Luke combined a blend of our recommended/preferred music (submitted via Spotify playlists) and his personally suggested material.

Every step of the way he understands exactly what is going to get the crowd in the right mindset and attitude. Music at a wedding is most often the linchpin to a successful event and there was never a moment where we felt the music was misplaced or not perfectly suited. Our group had a blast the entire time. Luke hit a home run and we couldn't be happier.

Additionally, his announcements and assistance in keeping the schedule on track and the crowd moving from place to place was precise.

We'd 100% recommend Luke to anyone who is looking for an experienced DJ who can really read a crowd and apply what works. We were in perfect hands with Luke.

Best DJ Ever

From the moment we first met Luke, we knew he would be perfect for our wedding! He spent time getting to know us and learning about what our vision for our wedding day was. He took care of so many things that made our lives easier: provided a great music selection, spent time making sure he knew our wedding party names, provided lights and microphones, and was just a great presence day of. Leading into our wedding week, we still hadn't decided on what songs we wanted for our special dances and he was patient as we discussed it and gave us some much needed suggestions. Highlight of our wedding

We were picky when deciding on the DJ for our wedding, because we really felt like the DJ can make or break the party. We could not be happier with our choice for Luke to be our DJ. He took care of all MC related things throughout the day, and was very helpful with keeping things on schedule. All of our guests were out of their seats when it was open dance, and didn’t sit down for the rest of the night. Luke did an amazing job at our sons wedding! I am the mother of the groom and worked with Luke for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. Our daughter sang in the wedding ceremony and Luke provided musical accompaniment for her too- very supportive, helpful, and efficient. Luke is the DJ you’re looking for

We met Luke while he was DJing at my best friend’s wedding 2 years ago and I told him that night that I wanted him DJing my wedding, and I wasn’t even engaged yet. Luke is adaptive to the crowd and mood, gives great suggestions leading up to the event, listens to exactly what your looking for, and puts his skillful spin on it all.

Perfect 5 stars! Luke did an incredible job at our wedding. From the beginning, he was super chill and easy to work with. He has a nice online tool to make laying out the day easy, and he also took playlists from Spotify with song suggestions.

One the night off, Luke read the room well and the dance floor was full the whole night, as we rocked out to hit after great hit. I'd say Luke's style is a DJ who focuses on delivering great music and a great party, and he lets the dance party take center stage. He's not going to jump in with cheesy games or quips that stifle the party. We loved that.

Best dj ever!

My husband and I got married on October 13th and it was by far the best day of our lives! We can attribute most of this to Luke and his incredible work. Luke’s website is organized making communication with him on your expectations SUPER easy. The day of our wedding, he kept everything running smoothly throughout the night and fed off of the energy of our friends and family. We had about 175 people at our wedding and over 50% of our guests (probably more) were on the dance floor the ENTIRE night!! We had multiple friends ask for his information for their upcoming weddings and both of our families are still raving about how incredible he was. Every aspect of working with Luke was great from the moment we contacted him to ask questions about his services to the big day! We were planning our wedding from out of town, and Luke took the time to speak with us over the phone to answer all of our questions before we finalized our decision to work with him. He was responsive via email in answering multiple questions that came up along the way as well. He was flexible in meeting with us in person when we were in town, which we appreciated. He has a great online tool that helps guide and organize all the information he needs, and it was very helpful to have that tool to add songs/information to gradually as we made progress in planning.

On the wedding day, he supplied and set-up all his own equipment (sound, mics, lighting), and it was great not to have to coordinate or even think about any of those details on the wedding day. Everything went smoothly with our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Luke was an enthusiastic, fun, and professional emcee. We gave Luke some ideas for reception music and a few "must plays", but basically chose to give him free range, as he had promised to keep the dance floor packed all night, and he delivered on that! At the beginning of the night, he got literally every guest dancing, and the dance floor almost wasn't big enough! Even after dancing had been going on for 3 hours, we were enjoying it to the end! He played all of the songs that we asked of him, and was able to extrapolate from the ideas we gave him to music we'd enjoy that would keep everyone having fun with dancing!

Looking back on our wedding day, we could not be more thrilled with Luke's services. We entrusted him with some of the most important parts of the day, from running the ceremony music, making our first introduction as a newly married couple, and ensuring the music for the reception would keep our guests dancing and having fun! He was an integral part of our wedding and a pleasure to work with!

I would put Luke as a ten star if I could. He was so accommodating and professional with every crazy question we might have had. He had our guests out of their chairs the whole night. Luke made our special day that much more special. My son is still talking about him a month later. Socrates did an absolutely sensational job DJing our wedding this year! Leading up to the event we got together to plan the kind of music to play and he was practically finishing my sentences, he knew exactly what I was going for. We had an outdoor reception and he had all his equipment set up and ready to go on time. He kept the atmosphere fun and upbeat during cocktail hour with some great Motown hits, and he had such a perfect mix of dance songs for the rest of the night that pretty much all of our guests, from 6 years old to 86 years old, simply refused to leave the dance floor until way after midnight. If that's not enough, our wedding was Greek Orthodox, so Socrates actually got everyone up on the dance floor, taught a quick Greek dance for the people who didn't know it, and had everyone circle dancing and having a total blast for a few songs! He was fun, professional, and enthusiastic; we were beyond thrilled with Socrates' services!

Luke was an awesome wedding DJ! Coming from someone who used to DJ myself, I don't think he could've done a better job. It was simple to get him set up with all the details (playlists, what songs to play when, names of everyone to be introduced, etc.), he was responsive throughout the process, and he even rolled with a couple of last minute changes to the schedule with no problem. Luke was so amazing! Our guests loved him! He was also super easygoing. We decided last minute to extend our wedding and he had no problem with it. He also was totally awesome and helped me with all the tech and music for a photo slideshow that I made to play during our wedding reception. We had our wedding in Grand Rapids, MI but we were planning from afar in Scottsdale, Arizona. It can be harrowing planning from out -of -state but Luke made everything super easy and took a lot of stress of our minds. I love alternative/indie music and my husband loves 90s/early 2000s hip hop and pop so we requested these genres along with some Bollywood music (my husband's family is Indian). Luke was able to blend all these genres into an amazing playlist that had our guests from many different backgrounds and ages dancing all night!

Luke was SUCH a wonderful DJ. We are so happy with how everything turned out. He met with me several times to make sure everything was how we wanted it and this kept my mind at ease. He is responsive, professional, courteous and talented. He is soft-spoken but don't let that fool you! He knows how to keep the party going, even when it's disgustingly hot out and no one wants to get on the dance floor. Our wedding was at a large outdoor venue but folks could hear the music from wherever they were and loved it. Several people commented that he played a great mix of songs that appealed to all age groups. Everyone enjoyed themselves a great deal and we're so thankful. He even accommodated some of our weirder requests without question (grand entrance songs, aisle songs, etc). Luke was a real pleasure to work with and would HIGHLY recommend him!

Luke was awesome!! His website was incredibly helpful in planning what songs to play for different parts of the wedding and organizing everything (we used him for the ceremony, announcements, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing afterward). He even helped recommend songs for a few parts of the wedding we were unsure of, and we felt he had a great sense of the kind of music we liked based on songs we shared with him and our conversations with him. Luke was amazing: so easy to work with and extremely professional. He used a web application that allows you to enter all of your music selections for each part of the ceremony/dinner/dances/dance floor, etc., making it simple to plan out everything you want. With that said, we didn't get everything mapped out because we procrastinated so much, and a simple phone call with him the week of the wedding and he took care of the rest! On top of how great he was to work with before the wedding, his emcee work and song selection for dancing could not have possibly been better. The only problem we had was that he almost brought the house down from doing too good of a job: the dance floor (upstairs in a barn) felt like it was about to collapse from such a great party.

We were originally leaning towards a live band, but choosing to go with Luke was one of the best decisions we made planning for our wedding. Stress free for us and our guests had an amazing time, we highly recommend him!

It's one thing to have perfect weather, perfect wife to marry and perfect venue but Luke made our wedding one to remember and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing DJ. He knows how to feel the vibe in the room, cater to the audience and continuously play nothing but hits. Super easy to work with, met with us twice prior to the wedding and made everything very easy and seamless. Luke was the DJ at our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. We had received several recommendations so we were confident he was be great to work with, but he even exceeded our expectations! He was very professional and met with us twice prior to the wedding. His new planning app was also super helpful and easy to work in. But most importantly, the day of he was AMAZING! He did such a great job of seamlessly flowing from one song to the next to keep the party going. He set the right tone for each part of the night and even set up in 4 locations. Luke also helped us direct the guests to the different locations throughout the night. We had countless guests say that it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding and I think a big part of that was due to Luke! The dance floor was completely packed the whole night. You can tell he is very good at reading the room and would change things up as needed. A friend who attended the wedding and is getting married in Chicago this summer even asked if Luke could do their wedding! Overall, we could not recommend him enough.

Luke is awesome! very organized love his wedding work sheet it makes it so easy to have everything laid out for the big day! He also coordinated with my nephews who were playing the violin/cello/electric keyboard during my ceremony. My wife and I cannot speak highly enough of Luke. He was fantastic right from the start. He absolutely nailed it at the reception. Here are some of our personal highlights:

1. His website organizer is top-notch. Through a really simple drag and drop mechanic, you can plan your entire wedding down the minute. You can also listen to hundreds of songs and then select the ones you want. This can be used in two different ways: specific requests during the evening and laying out a general theme for that segment of the night. For example, we had a cocktail hour, and we selected "Rat-Pack" for Luke to play.

2. Luke is great at reading the room! Our guests ranged in ages from a few months old to 85 years old, and he got all of them on their feet and on the dance floor. He started off with some classic rock/RnB, but as the night wore on he continued to mix in more modern music. When the venue started to usher us out, we were having too much fun dancing! Probably my favorite suggestion of his though was for our dinner. We initially planned on having simple classical music on in the background. On his suggestion though, he started with classical and slowly mixed in other, more upbeat music, to help the transition to the first-dances. By the time they started, everyone was gathered around and ready to join my wife and I on the dance floor!

3. Luke is incredibly organized. On your crazy wedding day I cannot stress how valuable it is to have someone who helps you calmly walk through the evening. The week prior to the wedding he sits down with you, and both of you review the plan from his website. He confirms the order of events, songs, and pronunciation of names. Then at the wedding he is there, getting you organized and ready for presentation at the reception, and he helps usher the rest of the evening's festivities.

We absolutely loved having Luke as our DJ and would strongly recommend him to everyone!

Luke was absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding. We met with him when we were first researching DJs, and we stopped looking after our meeting. I really appreciated his attitude and philosophy toward music in general, and specifically toward playing music for weddings. He was extremely helpful in providing recommendations for songs/genres and order of events, and with editing our music. He did not impose his preferences on our choices/playlist, but he was honest when we asked him for advice. As the emcee, he ensured that our wedding ran smoothly and that our guests had a great time, without the show ever being about him. The dance floor was filled all night, but there was a good flow that encouraged people to take breaks for dessert/bar/photos/socializing without it ever feeling like the party slowed down. From the initial planning to the outstanding event, working with Luke's process was great from start to finish. We were able to do initial coordination over the phone from a distance, and the investment Luke has made in his digital platform to specify music for different phases of the wedding day made it easy for us to update our preferences in the weeks leading up to the big day. We gave Luke broad leeway in choosing music to make sure people stayed on the dance floor, and he exceeded expectations, with a large group pleading with the venue staff for one more song at the end of the night. Luke deserves a 10/10. His professionalism was top notch. He was perfectly organized and communicated well, his online wedding/song planner application allowed us to plan the music and introductions for the night. Luke was a great dJ. From being flexible about most things when needed to bring organized about doing a walk through meeting, he was great. He also took our request to have Hindi/Bollywood music mixed in with other music and went above and beyond, seamlessly blending them. Luke was an amazing DJ at our wedding! He made the entire process very easy, which is exactly what I was looking for. He provided suggestions and advice when I needed it. He was available via email or phone in the months before, and then we chatted about a week before the wedding about the night's logistics. On the wedding day, he made everything happen without any issues. I particularly loved that he ran the wedding reception in a professional manner, keeping the pace moving and the mood fun without becoming the center of attention. I cannot count how many of our guests gave me a compliment on his services. He had a crowd of 200 dancing all night. All of our wedding guests raved about him both during and after the wedding night.

Luke was incredible! Working with him prior to the wedding day was a breeze, especially with his handy website, and then he was absolutely excellent to work with the day of. He played great music, and we had a blast late into the evening with him!

Luke was awesome. He came highly recommended by a friend who DJs (and knows his stuff)--Luke definitely lived up to the hype. We met with Luke a few times before the wedding, he was very chill and accommodating. Our reception was awesome, the dance floor was filled the entire time, we couldn't have had a better time. Music selection was great, and Luke handled the microphone well before/during speeches. We HIGHLY recommend Luke, certainly worth the price.

Luke was amazing!!!! He was very easy to work with and very nice. I really liked that he had a wedding planning playlist to fill out with a do not play list and a overview of the day. Our dance floor was packed thee ENTIRE night! I never saw the floor empty and everyone kept saying how great the music was. I had one guest comment that she didn't want to go to the bathroom since she didn't want to miss a good song. Luke did a great job at playing all different kinds of genres and was great at feeling the crowd and knowing what types of music to play. I have never seen my grandma dancing and she was up dancing in her seat! Our wedding was not on schedule due to the rain and Luke was nice enough to keep the music going past when he was scheduled to end which made everyone happy. We also put music requests on our RSVP cards and Luke made a point to play some of the requests. I would definitely highly recommend Luke to anyone planning their wedding!!

Luke did a great job with our ceremony and reception! For a relatively small wedding, we had a big party feel because of the energy he created for all of our guests! Great music, great mixes, and great fun! We highly recommend Luke if you want an awesome reception without all of the hokey wedding stuff!

Luke was professional and thorough. He clearly had vast experience DJing weddings and had great advice, but was also totally eager to incorporate any of our requests. Most importantly, he kept the energy on the dance floor throughout the evening. Since the wedding we've received many complements from our guests on Luke's fine work.

Luke was very professional yet laid back and fun to work with. He covered all aspects of our wedding which included a pretty complicated out door set up and multiple locations. When tons of kids hit the dance floor, he geared the music to them and was taking their requests, it was a like their own private rave. I'd recommend him for sure.

Lufru Entertainment was the best DJ at any event I've been to. Luke was personable, relaxed, and incredibly flexible with all of our requests. He blended all of our musical tastes and guest requests perfectly and the dance floor was packed the entire night. I will recommend Lufru to every couple I know.

Luke was great to work with and helped make our wedding unforgettable! He was flexible and listened to all of our requests, even when we were changing things at the last minute. Luke DJ'd my May 30 wedding and was better than we could have ever imagined! He didn't tell me this until the end of the night, but he lost his 2nd staff person that morning to sickness and ended up setting and tearing down all 3 sound locations by himself in the rain. He went the extra mile to make sure he provided excellent service and didn't stress us out about it. Our guests were dancing from the first song until the last, and we received a ton of compliments about how great he was at feeling out the room and making amazing song choices that kept the party going. He also flawlessly executed our ceremony and dinner music, and did a great job introducing speeches.

Luke is very laid back and easy to work with. He is definitely someone you want around on your wedding day!

We were originally going to hire a different DJ company, the kind that have 10-20 DJs in their headcount, and you would randomly be assigned one after your deposit was received.

Lucky for us, they lost our deposit in the mail, because then we booked Lufru!

Luke was perfect for our wedding. From our first meeting, to the song suggestions on his wedding app, to really running the show on the day of, Luke was on top of everything.

He read the crowd perfectly and kept our dance floor full the whole time! It's only been 3 weeks since our wedding and I've already had a handful of guests ask me who our DJ was and how to get in touch with him for their future events.

Luke was the DJ for our wedding. He was really wonderful to work with, and he made the wedding a blast! We danced all night and had so much fun. He was also very professional and everything sounded great all day from the ceremony and dinner background music to the late night dancing music. I would definitely recommend him!

Luke was amazing. We used his website planner to schedule all of the music and then met with him to go over everything. He had some suggestions that really improved our wedding. He did a great job of keeping everything on schedule for the whole day and when the dancing started we had multiple people come up to us and tell us that he was the best wedding DJ they had heard. He did a good job of playing a variety of music that was good for all ages. We couldn't recommend him highly enough. Thanks Luke!!!

Luke was an awesome DJ for our wedding! There were always people on the dance floor! He knew exactly what music to play and could quickly mix into a different song if needed. Also, we had lots of great comments from our guests! During the planning, he has a great website that allows you to make playlists if you want, plan out the time of events, etc. It was very helpful. I would definitely recommend Lufru Entertainment!

We hired Luke based on the recommendation from a friend - and we actually attended a wedding prior to our own in which the couple had hired Luke as well. Once we heard Luke at our friends wedding, we called him the next week.

Luke and his team did an awesome job providing the kind of mood and atmosphere we were looking for. Everything from the music during the cocktail hour / dinner - to the dancing afterwards, was exactly what we wanted. There were 4 generations of people dancing until midnight - that alone should say a lot about the type of atmosphere Luke was able to provide. I would 100% recommend Lufru Entertainment to anyone.

Words cannot even describe how AMAZING Luke was for our October wedding last year. From the very first meeting we had, my husband and I knew that we were in good hands. Unlike other DJ's in the area, Lufru Entertainment was so personable and so fun! Luke did an excellent job at playing the type of music we wanted while still throwing in his own style. I'm not kidding, NO ONE left the dance floor!! I honestly can say that our wedding day was so much fun because of this DJ. People that went to our wedding are still talking about it to this day, almost a year later! :)

Luke was recommended to me by a friend who said "I just went to a wedding with the best DJ ever...you have to hire him." She was right!! Luke knows his stuff. Plain and simple. He's a young guy who loves music and is professional as they come. He's not a DJ who will try and steal your show...he just sets the mood and keeps the party constantly flowing.

We had Luke at our 8/25 wedding and he set up three different sound systems for us - no small task. (Ceremony, inside reception, outside pavilion dancing.) Everything went off great. Timing on ceremony music synced up perfectly, dinner music flowed well, dancing music killed it. He took what we loved and turned it into something bigger and better than we could have imagined.

He has a new online system that keeps you really organized. It has a library of song suggestions as well as places for you can add in your own songs...the names of everyone in your bridal party...timing for the events...it really ensures that he gives you EXACTLY what you want.

Ok Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor brides...go forth and hire LuFru!

Luke was absolutely amazing! He was professional and talented from the beginning to end. We were not too picky on our song choices or genres that were to be played throughout the evening. His forms online were easy to fill out and he got back to us in a timely matter. There were 2 surprise songs/dances that my husband and sisters were involved in. I never knew there was as surprise in the mix until it happened. Luke definitely helped them make it special. Throughout the entire evening our guests came up to us complimenting our DJ. He played the right songs at the right time. Constantly taking requests and mixing it up. His energy is contagious! We were amazed to see how much fun our guests and ourselves were having on our wedding night. There was never a “corny” moment with Luke, he kept it fresh and current with the music world. We danced for most of the evening and did not want it to end, either did our guests. We have already recommended him to some of our other friends who are getting married next year and looking forward to seeing him in action again! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND LUKE! Luke was delightful to work with and the end result was beyond my expectations! I wanted a DJ that knew how to keep our guests on the dance floor all night long while mixing in our own personal preferences, and Luke delivered. Almost two months after my wedding, people are still commenting on how fabulous our wedding DJ was! Many of my memorable moments were on the dance floor with family and friends. Luke DJ'd our wedding on June 28, 2014 @ The Crofoot. Everything about Lufru was perfect! We received numerous compliments from guests regarding the music selection and professionalism he presented. Our wedding went late and people were on the dance floor non-stop (LITERALLY) from about 8pm-1:15am. He created a dance party that people will never forget! In fact, he was so professional that when I requested "Dance With Somebody" by Whitney Houston at the end of the night, he played it despite him having already played it previously (which I actually just found out about yesterday - haha - missed the first go around)!! If anyone I know is getting married I'm going to ensure I recommend Luke. And I can guarantee if anyone who attended our wedding is getting married soon, they'll approach me about him. A+

LuFru Entertainment KILLED it at my wedding!! I would recommend Luke to ANYONE! I had a falling out with the original entertainment that I had booked so I was lucky enough to stumble upon Luke at the last minute. I’m actually glad that it all worked out the way it did, I can’t see anyone being better than him. He was personable, friendly, accommodating, and couldn’t have been a better match for my hubby and me. The first meeting we had with Luke he went out of his way to come to us on our lunch break from work just so we could chat in person. He was so easy to work with and was able to mix my bridal march to exactly what I wanted. The cocktail hour and dinner music was right on and not over powering.
During the reception Luke played music that everyone at the wedding loved. We had my dad and the older crowd slow dancing on the dance floor and Luke knew exactly when to pick up the tempo to bring out my friends and younger relatives. Honestly, the reception ended and we had no idea because the dance floor was still packed. When it was all over (because the venue was kicking us out) everyone was chanting “One more song!” so Luke played one last song and we went home after having the Best. Wedding. EVER! Thanks Luke!

Luke did a really wonderful job. We wanted a high energy dance floor for all ages, and that's exactly what we got! My matron of honor had used Luke for her wedding last year, so I was totally at ease with how the night would turn out, because he did a fantastic job at her wedding as well.

Luke met with us on our time table (I live out of state) to go over questions, and was willing to go above and beyond by providing ceremony music, and providing audio recording for the ceremony and toasts. He works well with vendors, and was able to navigate issues with the sound system at our venue.

I felt totally comfortable filling out his form that included which styles of music I preferred for various parts of the night (jazz/ motown/ top 40, etc.), and I actually only gave him a few songs to make sure to play and a few songs to not play. The dance floor was packed from 9pm to midnight and people were sad to leave it. Bonus: fantastic transitions between songs and zero "wedding DJ" cheese factor.

At least half of our guests told us that ours was the best wedding they had ever been to, and much of that can be attributed to Luke! He was FANTASTIC. He managed to keep almost all of our guests on the dance floor all night even though there was huge variances in age and music taste. He was charming and kind to the guests, extremely professional, and insanely hard-working. I don't think he took a break the entire night, even though we asked him to multiple times. I could not possibly convey how much fun we had at our wedding, largely because of Luke. Hire him!! LGBTQ-friendly.

We absolutely LOVED working with Luke. He is extremely responsive via email and phone, and was able to execute our wedding to a T. This involved him setting up sound systems at 3 completely separate locations within the same venue, and he did this seamlessly. He kept our 200 person wedding on the dance floor for the entire time. The floors were literally shaking because so many people were dancing! He respected our must-play list, but also really read the crowd and played a great mix of music that kept the young and old dancing all night long. You can really tell that music is his passion and his song transitions show the work of a really talented dj!
