I booked Lindsey to do my hair for my wedding and I couldn't image having anyone else! Let me start by saying first that Lindsey is so sweet and SO kind! It's important to surround yourself with vendors who you enjoy being around on your wedding day because the people around you will set the tone for your day. Lindsey was the perfect person to have get us ready! She did my hair, all 5 of my bridesmaids, my Mom, Grandmother, and my MIL's hair. Every SINGLE person was absolutely IN LOVE with their hair!! Every one of them got compliments all night long about how great their hair looked! As the bride, I was THRILLED with Lindsey's work! I had a trial before the wedding where Lindsey showed me two hair styles (both of which I loved) but then on the wedding day I showed her a style different from both of the trial styles. I had no doubt I could trust her and she NAILED it!! It was the perfect glam wave hairstyle to go with my makeup and dress and overall vibe. I would recommend Lindsey to anyone a thousand times over! -

Lindsey and her team helped me and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful on my wedding day. Lindsey wonderfully executed the vision I had, and was so patient in making sure every detail was perfect. She was such a positive light to have during the stressful morning of a wedding day! She is an absolute expert in bringing out your natural beauty. I felt special and glammed, given the day is such a big life event, but most importantly, I felt like myself. I brought a few inspiration photos to her and had no notes during the whole process (trial included!). I felt like she automatically knew what I was looking for.
If feasible, I would also recommend having her glam you for your rehearsal dinner. It was special to have two separate looks (one hair down with a bit darker make up for rehearsal, hair up and a more natural look on the wedding day). Everyone was blown away. I could not recommend her enough! -

Lindsey was one of the best choices I made for my wedding weekend in Charleston! She did my hair and makeup for both my welcome party and wedding, and I was so thrilled how both looks turned out. She is so incredibly talented, but she makes it all seem so effortless. I've never felt more beautiful while also still feeling like myself. The cherry on top was her calming presence and her willingness to make tweaks to the looks during the trial and on the day of. Her top priority is making sure the bride and all her people feel great, and it shows in her work and friendly attitude. I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married in the Carolinas (and beyond!). -

I cannot tell you how much of a blessing Lindsey was on my wedding day. I had never gotten my hair or makeup done before and it truly was an experience better than I could have dreamed of! She listened to every request and executed things SO perfectly that I will never get over the way she made me feel! Naturally I had a lot of stress in a lot of different departments, but having Lindsey booked for my hair makeup was one that NEVER concerned me and instead was a source of relief. She was the most relaxing, kind, and talented person to work with and I look back with such gratitude having made that memory with her. I truly never felt more beautiful and taken care of - I wouldn’t change a thing! My beautiful mommy is so lucky to have been pampered my Lindsey twice as my sister booked her for her wedding as well and left us OBSESSED all over again - we already have her booked for my little sister for whenever she gets married haha!

Lovely by Lindsey was one of the first vendors I booked and I was sooo excited to work with her. I knew a trial would be necessary because I have sensitive skin and my hair is long, doesn't hold curl well, and tangles very easily so it was important for me to figure out what would work best!
I was surprised at how long the makeup lasted! I never did any touch ups, and none of the products she used bothered my skin at all. The makeup itself was also comfortable throughout the day, even down to the eyelashes she used. And as far as the look, I felt like a barbie princess. I wanted lots of pink blush and pink contoured lips, and she definitely understood my vibe!! I have never felt so pretty!
Ultimately I did end up changing my hair from half down during the trial to all the way down on wedding day. Both looks were gorgeous though! I was also SO IMPRESSED with my mom's hair! Everyone looked so pretty and nobody had any complaints!
Definitely book early if you want to hire Lovely by Lindsey. I am pretty sure I booked a year or more out. -

I cannot say enough amazing things about Lindsey and her team! From the moment she arrived on my wedding morning, she brought such a calming, positive energy that set the tone for the entire day. She took my vision and somehow elevated it beyond anything I could have imagined. My makeup was flawless, natural, and lasted perfectly through tears, hugs, and hours of dancing. My hair held beautifully all night and photographed like a dream.
She is not only incredibly talented, but also warm, fun, and truly invested in making you feel your absolute best. My bridesmaids were obsessed with their looks too— her team made everyone feel gorgeous.
Lovely By Lindsey was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. I cannot recommend her enough! -

Amazing Wedding Day Hair!
Lindsey did my wedding hair, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly kind, patient, and so easy to work with from start to finish. Not only did I absolutely love how my hair turned out, but my bridesmaids did too—and we all have very different hair types. The fact that she was able to nail each style so perfectly was honestly amazing.
I’m so thankful for the care she put into making us all feel beautiful, and for helping me feel so confident and pretty on my special day. I would recommend Lindsey a thousand times over! 💕 -

Lindsey nailed my vision!
Lovely by Lindsey did my wedding glam, and I would hire her a million times over! I felt like the most beautiful version of myself. Trusting someone with your hair and makeup on such a meaningful day can be nerve-wracking, but Lindsey made me feel completely at ease. From the trial to the wedding morning, she was so kind, calming, attentive, and talented - she absolutely nailed my vision. And everything stayed flawless through all the sweat, tears, and dancing!
Lindsey and her team also glammed up our entire crew - makeup for 14 ladies and hair for 9 ladies! Every single person looked incredible and they were so efficient. They worked beautifully across different ages, skin tones, and styles (even for those who rarely wear makeup). Everyone looked like an elevated, naturally gorgeous version of themselves.
I can’t recommend Lovely by Lindsey enough for anyone looking for wedding glam in the Charlotte area. -

Working with the LbL team was such a lovely experience. Working directly with Lindsey for administrative/logistical details and learning more about the hair extension program was seamless. When it came time for the wedding, Angelica and Adrian beautified my bridal party and ensured everyone had fun in the process. My hair and makeup lasted the entire day (without needing a touchup!) and I truly felt as beautiful at the end of the night as I did that morning. If you're looking for the absolute best in hair and make up, look no further than Lovely by Lindsey. I'm local to the Boston area but got married in Charlotte, NC. Every single person I asked for HAMU recommendations in Charlotte mentioned Lindsey and her team. So, I booked a trial at her home studio to meet her and do a test run for HAMU. Not only was she incredibly welcoming and easy to connect with from the start, she did an absolutely amazing job. If you're doing a trial, her home studio is incredibly cute! So, I booked her and her team for the wedding weekend for me, the mothers of bride/groom, and my bridesmaids. I also ended up booking her for the rehearsal dinner as well (a must!). Lindsey was incredibly professional and easy to work with throughout the whole process. Lindsey is an artist that takes your inspiration and makes it come to life. I couldn't recommend her more. If you want someone who is going to give you the best vibes and incredible HAMU to boot, you need to book Lindsey and her team :) -

Lindsey is absolutely incredible!! She’s so kind, prompt, and efficient with communication when getting everything set up! I loved her content on Instagram, and it was so refreshing to meet her in person because she’s even sweeter! My trial with her was smooth, fun, and just an all around fabulous experience! One of the highlights of my wedding year. She made my mom and I so comfortable, we laughed the whole time, and we felt so pampered and beautiful! As you can imagine, the day of the wedding was the exact same! Her and her coworker were sweet, fun, prompt and kept everything on schedule! And we had ALOT of girls getting hair done! I cannot thank her enough for how beautiful she made me look with the luxury makeup and hair style. My pictures look amazing. She also did my wonderful mom's makeup and hair , my mother-in-law's makeup and hair, my bridesmaid makeup/hair, and my flower girl makeup and hair. She did an amazing job with all of them...

I originally booked Lindsey for May 2020 wedding. Like many couples our plans changed and Lindsey stayed along for the ride. She did my hair and makeup plus the makeup of my mom and cousin at our small ceremony, then came back in 2021 to do our original plan with my bridal party. She has a heart of gold and is wonderful to work with. Even without a true trial she hit exactly what I wanted (with a brief convo/pictures) and recreated it a year later. You can feel her joy in helping you feel and look your best on your biggest day. Love love love her! -

Amazing Makeup and Hairstylist! Pick Lindsey!!
If you are looking for a makeup artist who makes you feel like an absolute queen, then look no further and pick Lindsey!
From the start, I was looking for someone who would enhance my natural features without caking the makeup on my face. I am Asian and finding someone who can work with different skin tones was a must. Lindsey was more than happy to jump on the phone when I initially called her to make sure the chemistry was right between us. She was super sweet and patient with all my questions. It also helped that she posted various styles of makeup/hair on her social media so I could see her past work. We did a trial run at her house and she made sure to adjust my hair the way I would like it since I didn’t quite like the way it look initially. She took meticulous notes and pictures too so she could remember the style of makeup and hair the day of our wedding. I also have sensitive skin and the products she uses did not make my skin flare. When our big day came, she was prompt and made sure we stayed on schedule. She was super patient too and understanding when some of my bridal party was running late. My hair and makeup held up throughout the night which was amazing since I hardly left the dance floor all night. She also made my mom and sister look BEAUTIFUL! They have never had their makeup professionally done and they ended up loving their looks!
I would recommend Lindsey 1000x over because she is super sweet, cares about the work she does, and makes sure everyone looks amazing. Thank you so much for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!! -

The best wedding hair I’ve ever seen!
I found Lindsey by a friend who used her for their wedding a few years ago, and I’m so glad I did! in the past year I’ve either been in or at 6 other weddings and I may be a little biased, but I think my bridal party had the best hair out of any of those weddings. We had high ponies, messy buns, down dos, and my favorite, my half up half down. She did so good on all of them, I wish she could always do my hair for special occasions!! -

Picking out a hair and makeup artist for my wedding was something I was super nervous about because I’m pretty particular. Lindsey exceeded my expectations.
Lindsey was super flexible in rescheduling after I had to postpone due to covid and was able to work within our day-of timeline by bringing in a second artist (despite it being a pretty late request!).
I highly recommend choosing Lindsey for your wedding- you won’t regret it! -

I wash a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding when I met Lindsey. As a stylist and someone who couldn’t ever find anyone to do my special occasion hair correctly, I always lean in and really see what each stylist is capable of. A lot of stylist out there say they know how to do special occasion hair, and they just don’t. Lindsey not only did an amazing style, but I hired her to do my wedding hair. She made my hair dreams come true on both occasions! My wedding hair was EXACTLY what I hoped for! Not only that, she was able to make my bride to be feel beautiful and wedding ready for our big day. There is nothing that she can’t handle. Morning she can’t do. She makes all of your hair dreams come true and then some! Looking forward to having her do our anniversary hair, and more!! -

Best hair and makeup EVER!
Lindsey did such a beautiful job on my hair and makeup for my wedding, I still look at pictures and am amazed by how beautiful she made me look! The trial was awesome, too. Lindsey helped me figure out what would look best with my veil and dress and we tried out and photographed a couple of options so I could decide what to do on the big day. I didn’t want to look like I had a ton of makeup on and Lindsey did such a good job making me look natural yet glamorous at the same time. Lindsey also did all 6 of my bridesmaids hair and made every one of them look amazing and in such a quick time-frame! Lindsey is such a beautiful human, so kind and patient and even helped one of my bridesmaids out with some essential oils to help ease the pain of the sunburn she got the day before my wedding. I can’t thank Lindsey enough for being a part of my special day and for working her magic on my girls and I! -

Lindsey was awesome to work with. She was great at communicating prior to and very accommodating. I did a trail with her, as well as she did 9 peoples hair for my wedding. I hired Lindsey for my wedding on April 6, 2019 and she and her assistant both did such a great job! I originally contacted Lindsey a few months before my wedding and she quickly replied to me with information about her services and the prices, which was so helpful for me. Lindsey is sweet , kinds, friendly, professional but also very easy to talk to. I explained to her exactly what I was looking for and showed her a few inspiration photos and she created the exact look I wanted! It was amazing! On the day of the wedding, there were 9 people who needed hair and makeup done and she and Angelica were able to make all of us look so beautiful! My bridesmaids, mother, mother in law, and grandmother all loved their hair and makeup and couldn’t stop talking about how good they looked! I absolutely LOVED my hair and makeup and received so many compliments from friends and family about how beautiful it looked. If you are looking for a great hair and makeup artist who is super nice and friendly, I would definitely recommend Lovely by Lindsey!! -

Lindsey is amazing, patient, talented. Between the trial and the wedding day, she was nothing short of professional. She really wanted to make sure she nailed the vision that I had, and I'll say she knocked it out of the park. I had so many people compliment me days after the wedding on how much they loved my hair and make up from people who just saw pictures and weren't even at the wedding!! When I shared with her the vision I had from other inspiration photos, she went to work and I have never felt more beautiful! Lindsey is definitely an AMAZING hair and make up artist to add to your day for not only you, but your bridal party as well! -

Lindsey was absolutely amazing! From the first email to the day of she was wonderful to work with. Our wedding took place the weekend of Hurricane Florence and she was such a trooper coming out in the storm for me and my wedding party - that is the ultimate dedication! She paid so much attention to detail - even though we were all going to be a soaking wet mess - but this should tell you how good she is - we all still looked amazing at the end of the night. If you want someone who will be there for your event no mater the circumstance and do an amazing job - I highly recommend Lindsey you will most definitely not be disappointed! -

Lindsey was so great to work with! From the trial I did for my engagement session to the wedding day, I always felt that Lindsey was super responsive and just very helpful when trying to set up my timelines. On the day of she did such an amazing job with all of my bridesmaids, they were all so happy with their hair and makeup and looked gorgeous!! She was super professional and did an amazing job with my hair and makeup as well, helping me get the natural type look I was hoping for while still looking amazing! -

Courtney Sent on 10/12/2017I have known Lindsey since I was in high school. Lindsey was my cheerleading coach so she was already someone that I trusted. During the beginning stages of planning, my hair and makeup was one of the first things that I booked because I knew exactly who I wanted! I later found my photographer and it just so happened that she and Lindsey had worked together before and she raved about Lindsey too! Lindsey's style is very natural and light. The last thing I wanted was to have cakey makeup or be too orange in the face. I now live in Raleigh and Lindsey was very easy to work with and flexible with my schedule. I was able to do a makeup trial for my engagement session, then hair and makeup for my bridals. On my wedding day, I had not even thought about how I wanted my bridesmaids hair. Lindsey knew I was stressed and knew my vision. She took control and everyone's hair complimented mine perfectly! My hair doesn't curl well so I was so glad we had done a trial. Lindsey was able to give me what I had for my trial but loosely pull up the side because I knew it would be straight within 2 hours! Also, I cant forget about how adorable my flower girl was with her hair pulled back with a crown! Half of my bridesmaids had makeup done and I loved how natural they looked too! They didnt stand out from my other bridesmaids because they had too much makeup on. Some of the bridesmaids that didn't have full makeup done just wanted lashes and Lindsey was able to accommodate their request last minute on the wedding day! Overall I would highly recommend working with Lindsey because she is so sweet, very professional, and extremely talented!
