I visited the shop a total of three times and had the best time on every visit. Kendall went above and beyond for me, and I felt so supported by her! She involved my family, but checked in a few times to make sure the involvement level was still good with me. She kept the vibes positive, fun, but still intent on finding the dream dress. I thought I knew what style I wanted, but Kendall listened to my complaints about the first few dresses in that style, and brought me something of a little different look, but still in line with what I had been wanting. It was the dress of all dresses, and I knew before we even moved the curtain that it was the one.
I didn't feel pressure to buy right away, and came back a few weeks later to officially order the dress. My dress came in exactly on time and they gave a great list of seamstresses in the area. I could not be happier with the experience there, and have already sent two of my friends to the shop! -

An absolute MUST!
I found THE dress here! I had such a wonderful and comfortable experience. It felt very private with my mom and sister in law with me which was amazing. My dress was the 5th I tried on and I knew it was the one. The associate working with us was so attentive and really took my tastes and preferences into consideration to pick out the perfect styles. My dress even has the cutest removable sleeves and I picked out the best belt to go with it! The whole process was so easy and painless. I highly recommend shopping for your big day here!! -

I went to about 7 other shops in Buffalo before heading to Lovely Bride in Rochester. I immediately fell in love with the customer service, ambiance & their dress selection! Kendall was a doll to work with and made me feel amazing!! My wedding was 7.22.23 and I am ecstatic on my dress + veil choice from Lovely. I went with 'Windsor' Alyne by Rita Vinieris gown and the Jackson veil by Untamed Petals. Thank you so much for everything! -

I had gone to lovely bridal with the intention to look and then go to a few other shops before deciding on “the one”. After going to two other shops, I called back and asked to come back in because I couldn’t stop thinking of “the one” they had found for me! Somehow they knew me better than I knew myself! The atmosphere, experience and professionalism is absolutely amazing here. There truly is nothing like Lovely. HIGHLY RECOMMEND🥰 -

Lovely Bride satisfies quantity and quality in their bridal gown collections. It does not have the same capacity as a ware-house sized bridal store, but it absolutely has a varied selection of dresses, all of great quality. Every dress in the store was clearly chosen carefully and with reasons. I tried on several very different styles of dress and each was beautiful aesthetically and in craftsmanship. Despite every single dress that I tried on being fabulous, I suffered no “paradox of choice.” The stylists and owner at Lovely all took time to talk with me while I was contemplating the gowns and enthusiastically shared practical and stylistic advice. We were able to quickly rank and narrow down my options and pick “the dress” that best suited me and our event. -

Katie really helped us out. I found a dress that I loved and she made it possible. She put out a handicap ramp so my mom could get in the store to see my dress before she passed away. It was beautiful in every way! -

Lovey Bride Rochester provides the special treatment every bride deserves when purchasing one of the most important outfits of their life. On my first appointment, Shelby took me through each and every dress and told me their name and designer. I at no point felt rushed or like I was limited to only try on a set amount of dresses. This is definitely not the norm! I ended up checking out other bridal wear stores but Lovely won my heart from the beginning! Every person I worked with was so kind, uplifting, and genuinely excited to help me. The boutique itself is adorable. If you want your shopping and fitting appointments to be the whole experience with photo ops and special moments- this is the place to be! After choosing my dress (her name was Alpha) and accessories, each subsequent appointment was wonderful, and felt like I was being welcomed by close girlfriends. On my pickup appointment for my veil I brought in some family heirlooms and the associates and owner were so kind to listen to my stories. My dress made me feel so beautifully myself on my wedding day and that is all thanks to the ladies over at Lovely Bride!

Hands down best experience at Lovely!
My appointment at Lovely was my very first bridal appointment. The owner Katie made me and my guests feel so welcome and just as excited as we were to find a dress! I had a list of dresses I wanted to try but also had a open mind about others. Katie did a great job at selecting the ones I listed as well as ones I didn’t to narrow down fit and style. Thanks to her creativity, I said to YES to one that wasn’t on my list and I couldn’t be more happy. My dress came in this weekend and is everything I could have ever wanted! If you choose Lovely you are going to have a wonderful experience! Picked my dress up this weekend and kind of sad I don’t have to go back! -

Lovely bride is a safe haven for all brides. Not only are they not pushy to make you find and choose a dress, but they are so amazingly helpful in helping you find your perfect dress. I went there because I wanted a Hayley Paige dress and they did not disappoint! I got my dress and my veil from them and love both! -

I went to three different places and ultimately purchased my Jenny Yoo dress and veil from here. Julia is truly wonderful to work with. I live out of state and they shipped everything direct to me- very easy and stress free. This is definitely a more high end shop in the area, but Julia was great about working within our budget. -

I was so nervous to find my wedding dress because I hated the traditional look. As soon as I walked into Lovely I immediately knew I was in the perfect place. All of the dresses are stunning and I never tried on a dress that I actually hated. My consultant Kendall was the nicest girl and listened to me and could recommend so many dresses and veils. I felt like she truly listened and cared. The other girls at Lovely kept complimenting me and telling me how beautiful I looked. I absolutely said yes to the dress here! I couldn’t recommend this place more -

From the moment my guests and I walked into the door we immediately fell in love with the place and the employees. I worked specifically with Julia, and she knows her stuff! I went in completely confused and stressed and she helped me through the decision making process. Julia was so helpful and I feel so lucky to have been able to work with her. While searching for my wedding dress I had a very specific kind of dress in mind. I went to 5 different bridal shops searching for my dream dress. When I finally found my dress and discovered where the designer could be found I called lovely bride right away. I can not say enough wonderful things about Julia. She knows her stuff, and knew exactly how to eliminate what I wasn’t looking for. She listens to what you’re looking for in your dream dress. She made this experience so comfortable and easy for me and that meant so much. Thank you Julia!

If you’re a lover of non-traditional or boho gowns, this is the place to go! All of the dresses are beautiful, the shop is so vintage and charming, and the staff is seriously so wonderful. I live in Syracuse, came here over the summer and found my perfect dress, but wanted to wait a few months so my measurements were more accurate. I could have ordered the same dress at a closer shop, but had such a great first experience that I came back to get it from Lovely! I had Katie the first time and Julia the second - they were both incredible and so sweet. Thank you! -

My Lovely experience was amazing, Jess was so helpful in assisting me with finding the perfect dress. I think anyone can walk in there and find the dress of their dreams. I also loved that you can actually try on the dresses, with accessories, even sit in them if you want to. Some dress places protect their dresses to the point that you can't really try them on and get a good feel for them, but Lovely is not like that! One thing I will say is look into the recommended tailor before going with them. The recommended tailor in Rochester ruined my dress 2 weeks before the wedding, luckily my mom can sew and was able to save the botched hem job done by the seamstress! Overall my Lovely experience was great. -

I hadn't been having very good dress shopping experiences, for various reasons, when I contacted the amazing women at lovely bride, not only did they respond to me almost immediately, but they made it their mission to ensure, no matter the outcome, that I had the best experience ever! Julia was absolutely amazing and I can't thank her enough for helping me to get "out of my own head" and truly become the best bridal version of myself. I found my dress that day and I couldn't be more in love!!!! I can't wait for my dress to come in!! Thank you!!!! -

I have four daughters so I have been to loads of high end bridal shops, but this store had by far the most beautiful dresses and customer service that was just over the top amazing. My daughter found her perfect dress here and loved the shopping experience. A few days before the wedding we had a dress disaster (don't even ask) and Katie worked night and day to help solve our problem, ultimately securing a new dress for us. The day was saved and the bride was beautiful and happy thanks to this amazing shop!

I thought I knew what I wanted, and after trying on several dresses, she insisted I try on an A-line strapless that I was not interested in at all... I fell in love. If it hadn't been for Lovely, I would never have found the right dress for me. -

She then picked out different dresses she thought I might be interested in and after trying on 2 dresses we ended up finding a perfect fit for me and my wallet. The one thing I liked the most is she made me look at myself in the mirror first before showing it to my mother and sister. She didn't want me to buy a dress because they liked it, she wanted me to buy it because I liked it. Thanks so much Julia! -

The service and quality of dresses made this place the best dress store in the area. After going to other shops. Lovely bride made me feel so special. The consultant listened and found my perfect dress on the first try!!!
