Heidi and Alan are amazing!
Everyone needs an Auntie Heidi for their wedding! She made the ceremony the easiest part of wedding planning. If I was ever stressed or unsure about something, Heidi had a solution. She is so knowledgeable and professional and really went the extra mile to make us feel at ease. If you need someone to help you navigate the world of wedding planning, manage those crazy relatives, and remind you to be excited, not nervous, you need Heidi! Her style of officiating is so fun and joyful, and she was able to tailor a ceremony that felt so unique and so us. Her husband, Alan, is also an amazing coordinator and photographer, and together they made our day so special and seamless. We can’t thank them enough! -

Heidi at Love Story Vows created a wonderful wedding ceremony on our big day!
My wife and I got married last December in the beautiful city of Redlands. We were lucky enough to run across Love Story Vows where we met Heidi who has a lovely personality, loves love, and actually strives to make a connection with her couples.
We spoke with her on several occasions leading up to the wedding getting to know each other. Throughout the whole process she made herself available for any and all questions we had. We truly appreciated that. It was that connection (and the way she orchestrates the ceremony) made the having her as our officiant that much more meaningful. We made the right choice going with Love Story Vows! -

We are so happy that we chose Heidi as our officiant for our wedding. She blew our expectations out of the water. People were coming up to us after the ceremony asking us how long we had known Heidi because she told our love story so beautifully! Everyone was complimenting us on how fun and romantic our ceremony was, and that it was unlike other weddings they had been to. We loved the ceremony too! She had us both tell her our love story separately in questionnaires before the wedding and it was so fun to find out what my husband had said to her at the altar! It was very sweet. Heidi is super personable and easy to talk to, which put us both at ease as well. She is super professional, but she is also kind. She checked in with us several times before the wedding and I feel like she really got to know us well. She's an expert at what she does! We were also happy because it had been our dream to do a handfasting ceremony, which she was happy to incorporate! It was the most wonderful and perfect ceremony we could have asked for. Heidi is a delight! -

Wow, Heidi was an incredible officiant and helped me and my husband craft the most perfect ceremony. I've seen many weddings and sometimes the officiant makes it about themselves, or thinks of it as a tight 5 comedy special, but not Heidi. She was professional, well-spoken, and truly understood our needs to help us create a perfect day. We eloped in Joshua Tree and she drove out to us, and helped us figure the how to's of getting married every step of the way. I highly recommend working with Heidi if you want a ceremony that is special, filled with joy, and has heart and soul. Heidi was wonderful to work with! She was communicative, supportive, and professional every step of the way! She was knowledgable about the Southern CA wedding scene and connected us with a bakery for our wedding cake when we told her we will still looking for one.
The ceremony she wrote & conducted was beautiful, funny, and perfectly represented us as a couple, which was only possible because of how much time she spent learning our story and getting to know us.
After our wedding, there was a small issue with our marriage license that required us to resubmit the application. She quickly met us, resolved the issue, and handled resubmitting the application within days of us reaching out.
She truly went above and beyond for us throughout our entire planning journey! -

I can’t say enough good things about Heidi from Love Story Vows! In my search for an officiant, I was overwhelmed with all of the choices and didn’t know who to choose. I ended up asking my friend who had been her sister’s officiant and she pointed me to Heidi—and I am so glad she did! Heidi worked with us every step of the way to create a personalized ceremony that was everything we wanted: short, non-religious, funny, and sweet. She had our guests raving about it being one of the best ceremonies they had ever seen, and several guests asked if she was a friend of the family because it felt so personal! Heidi also has great ideas for unity ceremonies—the “tying the knot” ceremony was a big hit at our wedding. Cannot recommend her highly enough! -

Two days before our wedding our officiant got sick and we needed an officiant quickly. Our wedding planner had many recommended officiants, but Heidi was the quickest to respond. Within minutes of reaching out to her, she called me and went right to work to create a memorable ceremony for us. Heidi took our tiny ceremony and created the most memorable part of our wedding that I won't ever forget. She made the whole experience effortless and she had the most graceful command skills. Heidi is awesome! We had wanted to have a personalized ceremony that reflected who we are as a couple, but we had no idea where to start. Enter Heidi, who walked us through every step and had lots of ideas on crafting a customized ceremony. She not only made sure we got the fun stuff done, but she helped us with the legal process as well. As a busy bride, I appreciated her reminder emails and texts, helping us stay on top of the whole process. She gave us "homework" to complete, so she could write our ceremony, which was helpful to prevent things from being done at the last minute. She also sent rough drafts for us to read over, so we could make changes if necessary. She made it easy and fun to work on our ceremony, and the day of, she helped calm my nerves! Guests really liked the ceremony we put together, and most importantly, we loved our ceremony! We will have memories for a lifetime! Thank you Heidi, for being a part of our special day! Heidi's Awesome!
Heidi was amazing! She was super helpful during the whole process. She checked in multiple times to see how we were doing with planning and helped calm us down when we were getting stressed from planning. She officiated our wedding at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa and the whole event was perfect! She even showed up early to make sure we weren't too stressed out before the ceremony. The ceremony was tailored to us and what we wanted. We got to express how we feel about each other and Heidi helped to keep it light and fun. -

Heidi is absolutely amazing! Right after the ceremony ended and even throughout the Reception and Brunch the next day, I heard from EVERY SINGLE ONE OF OUR 65 GUESTS about how ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, PERSONALIZED, ROMANTIC, EMOTIONAL, ORIGINAL AND FULL OF SENTIMENT our ceremony was. Their expressions as they shared this with us is something I will never forget.
My husband and I come from somewhat religious backgrounds but we really wanted to go a different route for our ceremony; something that represented US, captured our journey, our future, and incorporated the things that we love to do and geek out together, as well as making both our families happy. As many people who don’t really know where to start looking, I began conversations with a bunch of officiants who could perform nondenominational ceremonies. However, none of them seem to have that warmth and caring enthusiasm that Heidi has. During our first call it came out that Heidi also likes the very same things that my husband and I enjoy geeking over and we just knew that we had found her. She provided that connection that elevated her from just someone doing a service, guiding us through a process that they’ve done about a hundred times with other couples… to someone with whom we actually felt super comfortable to be ourselves, say silly things, allow ourselves to be completely honest and vulnerable, and have absolute trust in her guidance. Working with her as we customized and build our ceremony was so seamless. She was super open and flexible to new ideas from us. We did the Celtic Handfasting and a twist on the traditional Hispanic ritual of the coins, as well as provided our own suggestions for readings. More importantly, she was super understanding of how stressful this planning journey can be, and she was always there to cheer us on. She goes above and beyond on everything. Minutes before the ceremony, she talked to our photographer to let him know about the Celtic Handfasting and they agreed on where would be the best place to be for photos! The Ceremony was so beautiful and fun. When we weren’t holding back tears, we were laughing! Her telling of our Love Story seemed to bring everyone together, witnesses of our journey. Again, everyone’s expressions as they came up to us to share their feelings of the ceremony, as well as their best wishes, is something I will never forget. Even after it was all over, Heidi stayed to talk to us and encourage us on our exciting future together. Tears were shed! The rest of the night seemed to go so fast for me, but the Ceremony lives suspended in my memory.

After two years of planning, we finally tied the knot this past October! Having pretty much planned the whole celebration ourselves, we had our share of road bumps along the way…and that included securing an officiant.
In the last week leading up to our wedding day, we found ourselves without an officiant, and I was in a state of panic. After confiding in a friend, she started sending me a list of possible alternatives and the first name that appeared was Heidi from Love Story Vows.
At this point we only had about four days to spare and I immediately sent Heidi an email, not holding out much hope that she would be available on such short notice. When she emailed me back promptly and informed me she was available, I could not believe our good fortune, and we immediately got down to planning. In just a few days over a series of emails and a few phone calls, Heidi crafted the absolute PERFECT ceremony!
Heidi is so kind, easy going and more than accommodating and I still can’t believe how amazing everything turned out.
On October 21, 2022, we had our ceremony at Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins in Twin Peaks, CA, and it was everything I ever dreamed of.
If you are looking for an officiant who will create a ceremony that is personal, meaningful and beautiful, I couldn’t recommend Heidi enough! She really came through for us when we truly needed her and we will be forever grateful!

This review is a bit belated, but we found Heidi through her reviews and reached out to officiate our non-religious wedding inspired by the Celtic handfasting ceremony. We had a great phone chat and kept in touch all the way up to the wedding day as we worked on customizing the details of our ceremony. Heidi always made sure we felt welcome to reach out to her with any questions or concerns, and was adaptable and flexible with our specific requests for the ceremony (such as using our own cords woven by our families). I cannot say enough good things about Heidi. We hired her 3 weeks before our wedding date, as our original officiant had a last minute medical emergency. We found Heidi through her husband, who was our wedding photographer, and he couldn't recommend her enough. Thank goodness she was available! Right off the bat we felt at home with her. She is so kind and warm, and we just felt at ease speaking with her, especially during that stressful time. She sent us some questionnaires so she could really get to know us and our story.
When I tell you, she created the most amazing ceremony for us. She had TONS of options to make our ceremony custom to us and our style. And I'm not even exaggerating, the entire audience was in tears. We got so many compliments from our friends and family about how incredible our officiant was. My husband and I felt like it was just the three of us up there, even in front of all those people. She spoke like she's known us for years. It was just the most beautiful ceremony I could have imagined. I HIGHLY recommend Heidi!! -

Beautiful Ceremony!
My husband and I got married April 30, 2022 at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. Heidi was such an amazing officiant and help throughout the whole wedding planning process. She spoke with us on the phone once we decided to have her as our officiant, she got to know us, asked us questions, always let us know that she was there to help answer any questions we had and responded promptly when we did have questions about the ceremony or the process of obtaining our marriage license and certificate after the ceremony. Every family and guest we spoke to after the ceremony let us know that the ceremony was their favorite part! They loved hearing our love story, the humor that was added, and the details that were added by Heidi to specially tailor our ceremony to our personalities. My husband and I loved the ceremony as well, it was our favorite part too! We laughed, cried, and enjoyed hearing her talk about our love story. We did the Celtic knot tying ceremony as well as the time capsule box and it just added a uniqueness to the ceremony and our guests really enjoyed watching us do both things. We had an amazing experience and we would highly recommend having her as your officiant! -

Heidi was a bit pricier than your average officiant, but she is NOT your average officiant. Apart from being professional, knowledgeable, accessible, and offering very unique and personal options; she is an amazing human being and super friendly. We actually found Heidi through her husband's photography company (who is also absolutely wonderful). We met with both of them when discussing the photography stuff and we both knew off that zoom meeting that Heidi would be our officiant. Heidi offers so many options to help fit your couple style... we found that a few things where not really us but that's ok because what we chose was exactly what was right for us. We immediately fell in love with the handfasting ceremony option, and our guest LOVED it. We heard from so many guest how cool and original that was, and not to mention how beautiful it was to witness. You get to keep the "knot" you both tie, ours is hanging on our wall at home. Heidi kept in communication with us via e-mail, phone call or text, and even help calm me down when wedding planning was getting a bit much. You will not be disappointed. -

Heidi is the best officiant you can ever have for your wedding. If you are looking for an officiant for your wedding you should choose her, with no hesitations! We got so many compliments on our wedding ceremony and how great she did! Our guests really weren’t expecting our ceremony to be like it was, and Heidi shared our love story perfectly. I love that it wasn’t your typical, boring, super religious ceremony that people think regular ceremonies usually are. Heidi made our ceremony very personable and made sure it was everything we wanted it to be. We were able to tell her our love story, our dreams and our wishes to each other. And she made it sound 100x better as it was presented at our ceremony. She was very very easy to work with and made me and my husband’s planning process stress free! I loved how she would also give us lots of advice about wedding planning or even just giving me reminders the night and day of the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. From the moment we met Heidi, we were sold! She's friendly, but professional. She's always willing and open to talk to, whether it be about your wedding or anything else you'd like to talk about. She was once a vendor, but now a friend. Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful, thanks to Heidi! All of our guests kept telling us how much they enjoyed Heidi and that we couldn't have picked a better person to marry us. We even had family members ask if Heidi was a family friend because the ceremony was so personal. A cousin's boyfriend (whom we had never met before) told us that even though he didn't know us, he felt like he did after the ceremony because Heidi did such a great job. My guests LOVED our Ceremony!
I had my wedding at Rancho Las Fuentes May 22, 2021 and working with Heidi was amazing. We never had the chance to meet in person due to the pandemic, but she answered any and all texts and phone calls, and never made me feel like a burden. Meeting her wasn't necessary, i felt nothing but positivity through the phone and an amazing energy from her. I am mexican and native american and wanted to incorporate my native traditions in my ceremony and Heidi was thrilled about the idea and we incorporated so many traditions and beautiful ideas. She provides you with so many templates and ideas, to help guide the couple through a stressful planning, and it's a lifesaver. She has two packages and if you are wondering if you should do the love story package the answer is YES! So many of my guests came up to me and told me how much they loved our ceremony, how much they cried, how unique it was, and that it was the best wedding they have been too. They were impressed by Heidi and said that they have never met an officiant that did everything and all the crazy we had asked her to do. Heidi is very professional and helps you with more than just ceremony stress, if you have questions about other aspects of your wedding, feel free to ask, because she is more than willing to lend advice. I am so glad I found Heidi! I was searching for an officiant for an elopement in Big Bear during the winter. I knew I wanted someone who went the extra

Both have a lot of experience with weddings and elopements alike, and they are also very familiar with Big Bear. Heidi crafted our elopement ceremony so beautifully, we really liked how she made it so personal and about us which is the whole reason why we eloped. She was super forthcoming in the process, flexible, and really incorporated our individual feelings and thoughts into the ceremony. She also reminded us of things that can easily be forgotten during the chaos of it all which was something I really appreciated. Heidi is so professional and easy to work with, I felt so at ease communicating with her about the details of my wedding and she is so skillful in storytelling, writing, and is such a warm person. I especially loved how she told "Our Lovestory" which was an additional customization service offered by her. I highly recommend this service because it was so meaningful and lovely how she told our story. The ceremony was so perfect, we also chose to do a celtic handfasting ceremony which was also one of the main reasons I reached out to Heidi. We got to "tie the Knot" with different colored ribbons, Heidi read out loud what each of these colors meant for our marriage. I can rave on and on about how excellent Hedi and Alan were, they made my wedding planning and the day of so easy and fun! I highly recommend the both of them, Heidi for her officiant services and Alan for all of your photography needs. -

Heidi was absolutely wonderful! Our ceremony was everything we envisioned and much more. We loved that she was able to personalize our ceremony using our answers to questionnaires she had sent us weeks prior to our wedding day. We appreciated the drafts she sent us of our ceremony as well (not including the part about our love story so that it was a surprise to everyone on the day of- amazing idea btw!). Our families appreciated the blessing she read, and her voice and words were just perfect. My mom never cries at anything, but she (along with many others) cried during the ceremony. Heidi always made sure to check on us during the weeks leading up to the big day, and even gave us wedding day tips just before the big day. I've already recommended her to a cousin's friend getting married in area and I highly recommend her to anyone else looking to make their ceremony very special, too. -

From the moment I first inquired for her services on the phone to the day of the wedding, Heidi and her husband have been nothing less than awesome, helpful and loving. Covid obviously damped this year, making it worse was cancelling my big dream wedding and frantically finding a ceremony site and reception for a minimony. But you know what?! Rev Heidi was such a special part of our wedding day. She came recommended by our wedding venue and so she was very familiar with the staff and DJ, which made things extra easy. When we first me Rev Heidi, we met at a local coffee shop, it was as if we were just catching up with an old friend. Her intuitiveness floored us that day, she knew when talking and getting to know us that she was going to have to pay extra close attention to my then fiance. She caught his tone when he was speaking about his late mother, and she knew he'd need extra TLC the big day, which is exactly what she gave him. Her voice was exactly what what we envisioned for our wedding. When we met, we believed her voice was going to be able to portray our love and commitment. There is a part in our wedding video where our videographer edits her voice to narrate us walking through the venue, and it brings me to tears every time I watch it. Heidi did an exceptional job, she asked us so many questions and had us fill out some questionnaires ahead of time, some together and some apart. It was fun getting to hear what we had to say about each other while standing at the alter, it made our reactions genuine. I've been to weddings where people have used people they know to officiate there wedding and I have to say its not my favorite, I understand where you'd want someone who knows you to tell your story, but sometimes I feel they can get off topic or gravitate towards one person rather than speaking to the bride AND groom. Heidi offers the best of both worlds, she does get to know you, she talks to everyone equally without bias, she is a professional at what she does, and best of all you can feel her genuineness in her voice. If you're still looking for an officiant, look no further, you will not be disappointed. -

Rev Heidi was exactly who we needed!
We found Heidi through DJ Craig (DJs On A Dime) and she was a perfect fit for us! We wanted a customized ceremony that would incorporate various aspects for our families but also that was fun and to the point. We worked with Heidi to make the ceremony exactly how we wanted (with quotes and hand fasting) and it turned out perfectly! Wonderful ceremony
We found Heidi through her great reviews online and then when we found out she was recommended by our venue, it sealed the deal. We did not want to say vows and loved the story telling option she oftered, where she got to tell our love story to our guests. Reverend Heidi is a true angel! Her communication before the wedding was amazing. She was quick to respond, and always made me feel like she was there for me no matter how small my question or concern. On the day of stress was high right before the ceremony due to a dress mishap and she actually calmed me and made me feel like everything would be OKAY. We opted to do the Celtic hand fasting as part of our ceremony. EVERYONE made comments about how cool and different it was and how much they enjoyed it. I cannot express enough how amazing Reverend Heidi is! Her presence, alone, is calming and soothing. Leading up to and the first half of the wedding day was extremely stressful.
