RUN don't walk to hire Peggy!!
I was going back and forth about hiring a day-of planner for my wedding. My mom and I are both Type A and were on top of every detail throughout the process - so I wasn't sure it was worth the money.
I'm here to tell you that IT IS! Peggy was an indispensable part of my wedding day. From the moment she and her assistant Chloe arrived on location in the morning, my stress melted away. The placecards haven't been tented and arranged in alphabetical order? Peggy is on it. The venue stuck Christmas trees in your ceremony space for your Jewish wedding? Peggy is on it. Your mom/future MIL has irrelevant questions about details they've already been informed about? Peggy will answer them.
The value for Peggy's services are unbeatable. She did a walkthrough of my venue months ahead of time and also contacted each of my vendors ahead of the wedding day. She was point of contact for our bus company that was transporting guests back to the hotel so I wouldn't have to have my phone on me during the day.
Peggy and Chloe handled every detail throughout the day. They bustled my gown after the ceremony, gathered all our cards and envelopes at the end of the evening, oversaw the setup of the ceremony and reception space, made sure our guests with dietary restrictions got the proper meals, and stayed on point throughout the night to make sure passed appetizers were going out frequently and everything was in order.
From my very first phone call with Peggy, she put me at ease and made me feel so comfortable.
My biggest takeaway from wedding planning is that vendor coordinators are great but they represent the interests of the venue. You want someone who works for you, not a hospitality company, advocating for you on your wedding day.
Stop thinking about it and just hire Peggy already! What are you waiting for?!!? -

Peggy is the best!!!
Peggy was AMAZING! She was such a great support throughout the whole planning process. I hired Peggy as a day-of planner and was able to call her with any questions I had leading up to the big day. She was very responsive and lovely to work with. On the day of she was so helpful and made sure the plans and aesthetic I had been fostering actually came to life. She contacted all the other vendors before hand to make sure they were on the same page and made sure the evening went smoothly. I HIGHLY recommend Peggy!!!! -

Peggy was awesome!
My sister got married before me, and after her wedding, my sister and mom were so impressed that they told us that we needed to hire Peggy again because she was so helpful. We are so glad we hired her too!
Although we hired her as a day-of coordinator, she was involved in planning meetings with our venue prior to our wedding day. She asked questions that we never would have though of to ask, and really made sure that our vision was being met.
The day of the wedding she helped make sure every detail was being handled during the day. She also made sure that everything was neatly packed after the wedding. She really made sure our wedding was stress free.
She is highly professional and is wonderful to work with. We highly recommend using her services! -

Peggy is the BEST!
Both of my daughters got married recently. One in June 2021 and one in September 2022. For the first wedding, I wasn’t sure that a wedding coordinator was necessary. I guess I didn’t know all of the rules a wedding planner place. When our second daughter got married, there was not a doubt in our mind that Peggy would be a part of the special day! She met us at the venues and asked the questions that we never even thought of. She always gave the right suggestions based on her vast experience. Peggy was always helpful when we called or sent emails. The 2021 wedding was one of the first “normal” weddings during Covid craziness. Peggy was with my daughter through it all and it was full of decisions, changing plans, and having to be creative. As for the day of the weddings, Peggy was there for it all. She was at the church and reception and had us all organized. Even though both of the venues we used were beautiful, Peggy added some lovely finishing touches! She even brought family members to assist her. I would have to say, if anything went wrong at either wedding Peggy would’ve handled it… Not the bride or the groom or the parents. She had all the vendors information in case she needed to reach them. Some above and beyond circumstances that Peggy help with at our weddings that stand out to me include pinning up my daughters wedding dress that was not altered quite right, and setting up a large Pittsburgh cookie table, the morning of the wedding. My husband loves that she checked on him and made sure that he had a drink and didn’t need anything. After the weddings, Peggy took the time to carefully box all of the special items from the wedding with care. Peggy clearly has pride in what she does and she has a wonderful sense of calm that eliminates stress for all. Peggy is the BEST!!! -

Do yourself a favor and hire Love on a Shoe String
Peggy did a great job as our day of coordinator. We hired her about a few months out and she was such a support in the weeks leading up to the wedding. She helped me keep track of everything I still needed to figure out and made me feel much more confident heading into the big day.
Peggy coordinated with all our vendors and directed the flow the day of, including a last minute rain change (5 minutes before the ceremony started ) to a location that everyone agreed was even more beautiful than our original ceremony setting.
We did several large DIYs including all of our florals and we could not have pulled it off without Peggy. She and her assistant set up all of our bud vases and did a beautiful job decorating the tables and mantelpieces. We are so pleased with how it turned out. She also helped pack them all up at the end of the evening and clean-up was another thing that I was anxious about.
Peggy enabled us (my husband, our families, and me) to focus on celebrating. I cannot recommend her services enough.-

Best wedding planner!
Peggy was absolutely amazing to work with. She made it feel like we were her priority throughout the whole process and we couldn’t have done better. When our venue changed last minute (due to unforeseen circumstances) Peggy swung into action and made sure that the event we envisioned was fulfilled. She went above and beyond while working with our vendors and always made sure we got the best deal. I would highly recommend Peggy and our day was perfect thanks to her. -

Couldn’t have done it without her
Peggy was absolutely fantastic and always went above and beyond to make sure that We were thinking about the right things, making decisions on time, and not missing any details. On the day of, she was instrumental in our wedding run smoothly - we weren’t asked a single question all day, and things just happened “magically”. 10/10 would recommend. -

Peggy takes care of everything on your big day so you don't have to worry about anything and can enjoy!!! She was wonderful to have and did so much behind the scenes! She also helped run through our rehearsal so that we could be prepared for the big day! The best of the best!
Peggy was the glue that not only held me together but also all of the details of my wedding. As my venue was difficult to work with because of changes in staff, Peggy called them and went to the venue to iron out all of the issues that just seemed to keep coming up. Not only did she go the extra mile, but she also nailed my vision for the wedding. I could not be happier with the excellent service she provided me. Peggy was so helpful and supportive
I wanted to find a wedding planner who could guide me in picking out vendors, talking things out, etc, and especially helpful on the day-of! Peggy was amazing. Her help (and her assistant Chloe) on our wedding day was seamless. She made sure every last touch we wanted to make our wedding special was taken care of. I tend to be a worrier, but I did not worry about ANYTHING on the wedding day, thanks to Peggy. -

You need Peggy at your wedding!
One of the first things people complimented me on after our wedding was Peggy. She was our fairy godmother, a positive, calm and sound beacon during a wedding planned during the pandemic and then planned again after Hurricane Ida. I didn’t have any bridesmaids, and so a lot fell to Peggy. In short, everything was perfect in large part because of her. Peggy was more than generous with her time, her work and effort. And, after the wedding, she donated our leftover flowers to a retirement home. This was a small, but hugely kind, act that really touched me. If you are someone looking for a day of coordinator - especially if you’re doing your day without a mother of the bride - hire Peggy. -

Peggy helped in so many ways I don’t even know where to begin!! She was so helpful throughout the process of our wedding when I would become frustrated about silly things. But overall, she took care of everything. The day of our wedding, my husband and I didn’t have to lift a finger! Peggy was there helping coordinate the whole day with our venue and with what needed to be done next!! Without Peggy, I think I would have been so much more stressed over what needed to be done!

Backyard wedding
Peggy was the perfect addition to our backyard wedding. Five star service from start to finish!
Ladies, RUN don't walk to book Love on a Shoe String's planning services. These past two years were full of so many worries for my now husband and I including a pandemic, two postponements and a whole lot of wedding related tears - each time we got on the phone with Peggy we were reassured that everything would be ok! From helping me set a personal schedule of deadlines (twice), to reaching out to vendors for quotes and then finally to being so present at both the rehearsal and wedding day for anything that we needed, Peggy and her team were an absolute dream to work with! We can’t imagine our day without Peggy!
Hiring Peggy was a wonderful decision! We hired Peggy pre-pandemic, and she was helpful and always great to consult with as we were weighing out options and ultimately rescheduled.
Peggy joined the planning calls with our venue, and asked all the right questions we never would
have known to ask. Leading up to the wedding she worked with all of our vendors, and made sure they knew what to do when.
The day of our wedding is where Peggy and her team absolutely go over the top. They set up all of our decorations perfectly all while being present with us, and making sure we had what we needed all day. Her entire team was professional, efficient, and so sweet! Peggy and Chloe even helped fix my dress quickly between dinner and dessert! My mom is still blown away that when we went to get our stuff the next morning, everything was perfectly cleaned and packed up for us.

Having a quick change of plans for our wedding venue and planning from out of state, having Peggy by our side on the day of the wedding was a blessing! She truly has the talent and skills of organization, communication, and detail. **MARRIED ON SEPTEMBER 5th 2020** I have so many amazing things to say about Peggy. I originally chose Peggy pre-COVID when were having an event with 160+ people to be our day-of coordinator, however, our plans had changed and we switched to a different venue with about 50 people. Peggy was so helpful in making sure we remembered all the important details of our day before it happened and was so incredibly helpful on the day of. If it weren't for Peggy, my wedding day would have been ruined by one staff member at the venue we chose who was acting as the "venue coordinator". Peggy was SO incredibly professional having to work with the coordinator at the venue that was again SO rude to her, at times yelled at her, and made her feel unwelcomed. Peggy continued to have my best interest in mind to ensure my day was perfect despite the issues she faced. I cannot recommend her enough, seriously! During the meal, she continued to check in on my husband and me and even walked around to every table to get drinks for my guests. She made our day run so smoothly and I was so thankful to have her on my side!!! You will not regret choosing Peggy! -

Best Money Spent
Love on a Shoe String was THE best money we spent on our wedding. I thought I could handle it all, but as the day approached my husband and I wondered just how I would manage getting ready, coordinating vendors, and have fun and remain calm on our wedding day. My husband insisted that we hire a day-of wedding planner. After a lot of research, we decided to hire Love on a Shoe String. My only regret is not having Peggy involved in ALL of the planning! Peggy and her staff flawlessly executed everything we wanted and Peggy had GREAT recommendations for us. She handled EVERYTHING the day of our wedding so we didn't have to think about anything but getting married and having fun. It was money well-spent. Hire Peggy, you won't regret it! -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Peggy at Love on a Shoestring! She truly made my wedding and the planning process a joy. Peggy met with me several times before my wedding day and was always available for consultation via email, phone or text. Peggy helped me to coordinate my vendors for my DIY wedding and was on site for my rehearsal and wedding day. Peggy even came to the site the night before when there was an issue with my tent- her presence and advice were calming and reassuring when I was very stressed! Our Savior!
Peggy was a savior! I never planned on having a wedding with anyone but immediate family. One thing left to another and we were planning a wedding across the country with a growing guest list at a location that was not a traditional venue. I was overwhelmed and short on time. Peggy quickly was able to help guide me and assist in figuring what vendors and what I even needed as well as coordinating the event itself. On the day of, they monitored everything and help correct any last minute oversights we had, like not having enough of the mixers for the alcohol we provided ourselves. The wedding was a success and I have her to thank for it! -

Peggy did a wonderful job helping us to prepare for our wedding. Although we did most of the planning and arrangements with vendors before the wedding day, Peggy was key in making sure that we stayed on track and that everything came together perfectly at the actual event. She made sure that we did not have to worry about a thing, and were able to completely enjoy our ceremony & reception. She is a warm, friendly person and a pleasure to work with! Peggy Hecksher, aside from being a wonderful day of coordinator, is a wonderful person. She was so supportive, kind, creative, and professional. My husband and I cannot say enough about her abilities and commitment to her brides and grooms. She is a woman who truly loves what she does and it shows in her work. Peggy was out in the rain making sure our vision came to life. She decorated our entire venue! She was attentive through out the planning process and the day of our wedding. Peggy made sure my husband and I always had drinks and time to enjoy our reception. Peggy is a wealth of knowledge and experience and is so willing to share her ideas She was always a phone call, email, or text away. There is nothing Peggy can't do! We were at a loss for our son't wedding not being from the area. Peggy was a god send!
She helped us arrange transportation, create amazing gift bags, and making connections for us with the florists and other vendors for our son's wedding welcome party at Duke Community Center. When I threw her last minute curves, she delivered! And, she even had her husband pick up a welcome party guest who arrived too late to catch our transportation. What service.
I can't imagine being able to put this beautiful party on for our son and future daughter-in-law without her. She made my life easy and is worth every penny! -

Our wedding had it all. International intrigue (we were overseas and had to do everything by phone and email with Peggy), family drama (which Peggy helped us figure out the best ways to handle), a difficult wedding venue manager (that Peggy managed to win over and get her to work better with us), last minute drama (we had to find a bartender last minute after the venue we chose changed plans on us), tons of special requests (people coming from out of town looking for babysitting services, elderly relatives will special needs, and dietary restrictions that were less than standard), a small venue for the ceremony (about 30 people), a big venue for the party (almost 200 people), and a pretty disorganised bride and groom. Despite all of the challenges, Peggy was a pro through and through. She never made us feel stressed, kept us on topic, kept balls rolling in terms of the planning, troubleshooted (troubleshot?) issues as they came up, and on the day of we had not a single care in the world! Peggy was there every step of the way - making sure microphones went to the right people for the speeches, even helping a friend who ripped his pants and needed a last minute sewing fix, and helping us make sure the undrunk (undrank?) alcohol at the end of the night didn't disappear so that they next day we could return it for a refund. Really, I'm not sure how we would have made this day work without her.
And that's just the start. Peggy has a tremendous network of professionals that she works with. She really helped us cut through the clutter of options and connect with great people for flowers, photography, make-up, the bus (to shuttle us from the hotel to the party venue), bartenders. She doesn't work on a commission with them, they are just people who are excellent at what they do that she's met over the years and continues to work with because of their high standards.

Peggy is amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better day of coordinator. She was really helpful in guiding us through the wedding planning process as well. The event day went off seamlessly, if anything went wrong I never found out about it and many of our guests have proclaimed that this was the best wedding ever. Peg was awesome! She made sure the centerpieces and decorations were where they were supposed to be and ran the schedule for the day like clockwork. I loved her own little decorating touches also. She was very helpful giving the bride and groom a third person to talk to about their event. Peg was very familiar with our venue (The Old Mill in Rose Valley) and came recommended. We hired her as a day of planner and we were able to call her anytime with questions prior to the event. So glad I chose her! It was so nice getting hair and makeup done at the hotel while Peggy was setting up at the venue. Totally worth the price. Would not hesitate to choose her again! -

Look no further than Peggy at Love on a Shoe String. Initially, I was skeptical about hiring any planner thinking I'd be able to execute an elaborate wedding in 5 weeks, but I'm glad my husband (yay!) and I went with our gut after speaking with Peggy and got her involved. Hiring her was the single best decision we could've made, as it lead to other great decisions that led to a flawlessly executed ceremony and reception. Peggy has charm; she is organized, is attentive, will vouch for your interests with vendors, will be available via phone (and texts and email). You'll realize the value of her work as your big day nears: she'll put you at ease because you'll know that she is working diligently with anyone and everyone involved: the florist, the musicians, the venue, etc. During the day of the ceremony, Peggy (and her terrific and attentive husband Otto) will be invaluable...she'll be hands-on, but not intrusive; she'll take your directions and execute your desires quickly, surreptitiously, and effectively; she'll be as involved as little or as much as you want. Peggy also has impeccable taste: her ideas brought us elegant elements to our wedding: from an area rug where we tied the knot to gorgeous floral arrangements to unique place cards. My husband and I trusted Peggy with one of the biggest days of our lives and we're glad we did! Peggy: we did it! You're the best! -

Love on a Shoestring was easily the best investment we made. After finding out only a few weeks before our wedding that our venue coordinator wouldn't take care of day-of tasks like decorating, working with vendors, transitioning our place card table to a dessert table, etc., we hired Peggy of Love on a Shoestring. Though we came to her at the last minute and she typically works with brides and grooms throughout the planning process, she met with us to get up to speed on our plans, gave us great advice on some important questions we had, and made us feel very at ease. On our wedding day, Peggy professionally worked with all of our vendors to ensure that everything went smoothly, expertly decorated our venue for us (despite unexpected rain and changed plans because of it!) and went so far as to pack up a van with our belongings at the end of the night (our venue required we remove everything from the building by 11 p.m.) She even recruited her husband, Otto, to lend extra help. She was excellent at handling all of the typical wedding-day stresses that come up and went above and beyond our expectations, and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a day-of event coordinator or wedding planner. -

This is a commentary from the mother and father of the bride. Peggy was our "day of" wedding planner but her work began way before that. She was on all the vendor emails and called all of them before the wedding to make sure we had covered all the details. She was very good to work with remotely because she was available by email, phone and text (parents and couple did not live in the area of the wedding). She worked well with the vendors and was willing to lead or, if asked, follow others' suggestions. As a "day of" planner, she still attended the rehearsal the day before and even offered to bring the flowers from the ceremony to the day after brunch. She was positive and encouraging to all of us. Peggy was excellent at organizing the wedding and reception and was a calming and upbeat presence throughout. -

First of all, if you think a day of coordinator or wedding planner is a luxury it is not. It is a necessity. It took me a dew months into planning to realize this. That being said, working with Peggy was an absolute pleasure. It was invaluable to have one other person who felt as invested as I was in making sure everything went as planned and that I could relax day of. I cant really put into words how much her help allowed me to enjoy the day and made the entire planning process less stressful. Would recommend her to ANYONE(have already done so). I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Peggy. I knew from our first phone call that she was going to be great to work with, but Peggy completely exceeded my expectations. From months before our wedding all the way up to the big day, Peggy went above and beyond to make our wedding everything we imagined and so much more. She is is highly experienced and professional, but also so warm and personable. Peggy was always communicative, responsive, on time, organized, supportive, kind and patient as we worked through the details. We met with Peggy several times before the wedding and she always made a point to address our needs, preferences, questions and concerns - her preparedness and attention to detail made the entire process so easy for us. We had to change our venue midway through the planning process and also had to make several last minute changes right before our wedding day, and Peggy remained as calm and collected as ever. She also did a great job communicating with our other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. On wedding weekend Peggy was ready to roll! She facilitated our entire rehearsal at the venue and she made sure that we had no worries on wedding day. Peggy was so dedicated to making sure everything turned out the way we hoped it would - she even helped my family breakdown all of the decor we brought to the venue after the wedding was over. One of the things that I loved most about working with Peggy is her selflessness - her priority was always to make sure that we were happy, relaxed and present so that we could experience our wedding without having to worry about a single thing. She was with us every step of the way and I found myself referring to her as our "lifesaver" on many occasions - I really don't know what we would have done without her. Let's start by saying I never would have had a wedding without them. I called Peggy in July for a September wedding which required planning every little detail. (it was outdoors) I was incredibly busy at work leaving me hardly any time to research vendors and consider details. Somehow, they delivered an amazing ceremony and reception. Hiring Peggy as my day-of coordinator was one of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding. Peggy was wonderful from our first meeting until the day of our wedding. She went above and beyond to look into any issues that arose. She also helped to organize and execute our wedding timeline. From set-up, to shuttle bus coordination and making sure everything went smoothly on wedding day, she did a fantastic job and it was a pleasure to work with her. I highly recommend Love on a Shoe String as your wedding planner! Peggy made our Gazebo Decorations and bows from tule we gave her. She practiced the wedding group at our rehearsal dinner, for the big day. She coordinated the DJ, Phtographer, Career Staff and Bar Staff, Venue and delivery of all linens, China, glassware, etc. For the Wedding. Peggy and her Assistant set up the entire venue, favors, tables and centerpieces. Peggy and her Assistant worked the entire wedding and made sure it was flawless! I'm so glad we found Peggy! It took all the work, details and issues that arrive during the day, off of our plate! My daughter's wedding went perfect! Thank you Peggy for traveling to DE and making Deanna's Wedding perfect for her and the parents! I have already referred Peggy to a friend that is getting married! -

We hired Peggy as our wedding day-of coordinator and she really went above and beyond for us. During the months leading up to the wedding, Peggy gave us invaluable advice as we ironed out the big picture and the little details. She acted as our proxy, faithfully relaying our wishes to vendors. On the day of our wedding, Peggy showed up early with lots of energy and was resilient as we piled task after task on her. Our only job that day, was to let go and have her take over. What a relief! She handled the peculiarities of our DIY wedding with flexibility, understanding, and excellent professionalism. About a year ago I was reading reviews to help find my sister a wedding planner. I got in touch with Peggy and found her to be calming, decisive, organized and thoughtful. And that was from one conversation! I knew she was the right person for the job.
Peggy helped guide my sister through the process of planning a logistically complex, DIY, "simple" yet sophisticated wedding. She was a sounding board and helped put my sister at ease on numerous occasions.
As the wedding approached, Peggy was invaluable with every problem or emergency that arose, helping to keep things in perspective and/or on track. Only she knows the secret to keeping my Type A personality sister calm and sane during this process (thank you, Peggy).
On the day of the wedding, Peggy was a gift. When I walked into the reception room and saw everything that we had spent months planning perfectly executed, it brought tears to my eyes (and I didn't even cry during the ceremony)! Peggy made the day seamless and stress-free. My entire family and I could not say enough good things about her. My sister (and all of us) got to enjoy her wedding day, and that literally would not have been possible without Peggy.
Weddings are expensive, but even my mother agrees that hiring Peggy was the most well-spent money of all. -

Peggy was so wonderful to work with. I'm so glad I chose her. She was helpful from the start with anything from a small question on tipping to ideas about ring bearers, decorations, dress alterations. She was available to me by phone, text and email. So convenient. On the day of she was priceless. She kept the kids in the bridal party on track and organized. She was good at orchestrating. She kept everything under control and took care of any problem with the other vendors. (If there were any I didn't know about it.) It was just what I needed. She stayed until the end and wrapped it all up for us including loading gifts and decorations into cars. We are very happy with her service. -

I knew from the moment we were engaged that I was going to need a wedding coordinator. My mother was not convinced, until the day of the wedding. She was flabbergasted by Peggy's organization skills, her ability to artfully carry out my vision for the wedding decor and her commitment to seamless transitions from set up, ceremony, cocktails, dinner, dancing and clean up in one time-constrained venue. She did all of this with professionalism, grace and calmness. Her warmness came through to several guests who weren’t sure who she was but said “she is so sweet” and “who was that helpful, smiling woman?” I’ve been to weddings where the wedding planner/coordinator was overbearing and commanding. That was not Peggy! She was constantly smiling and directing with a genuine kindness. During the wedding, she would gently inform us when we were late, or on time, and what the next step would be. That was so helpful!
Leading up to the wedding, I appreciated Peggy’s occasional check ins about the timeline or just to see how I was doing. It was always good to have affirmation that I was on track and reminders of what still needed to be done. Peggy is also very skilled at calming down stressed out brides-to-be. I never thought that would be me, but two weeks before the wedding, the stress really hit me. Peggy has seen it all and that was reassuring. I especially appreciated the fact that she said that I wouldn’t have to worry about anything on my wedding day. And, I didn’t. I knew the event was in good hands! We would not have had the wedding of our dreams without Peggy! -

We had some big ideas for my daughter’s wedding at The Stone Barn and it became clear that it would be impossible to pull it off without help. We originally met Peggy when she worked at The Stone Barn. When I saw that she had begun her own business, we asked her to be our “day of” wedding coordinator.
We met with Peggy about 5 months before the wedding to reconnect and go over our ideas. She understood our needs, she embraced the Oktoberfest Wedding theme and provided all of the encouragement and support we would need right up through the wedding weekend.
I thought a “day of” coordinator would be limited in participation. However, Peggy was with us when we met with the Stone Barn to go over menu selections and details. She provided suggestions when our baker suddenly went out of business and she contacted all of the vendors to confirm details. Peggy was a constant support for my daughter and me – available by phone and email. When the hairstylist had emergency surgery and my daughter needed a trial with a new stylist, Peggy drove to the salon to make sure that my daughter was in good hands.
Somehow, Peggy was able to execute our vision for the most amazing and unique wedding celebration. It did not matter that the church was nearly an hour away from the reception venue – she was in both places and made sure that every detail was attended to. When I walked into the Stone Barn before the cocktail hour, I was stunned. EVERY detail was perfect. Peggy oversaw everything from the time we arrived until well after we left. She was ready and able to respond to any question or emergency with professionalism, courtesy and, most of all, with genuine warmth. She gave me the best of both worlds – I was able to be both party planner and mother of the bride. Peggy is a gem – it was an absolute pleasure working with her. And I could never have made it without her.

Peggy is a terrific wedding coordinator. Not only is she warm, caring and friendly, but she is extremely responsive, professional and will do the necessary work it takes to get what her brides want. She is experiences and knowledgeable, but also willing to try new and different ideas out.
She understands the many details a bride needs to think about leading up to her special day and she makes everything as easy as possible for you.
She made me feel like I was the most important bride in the world and remembered even the smallest details about my vision for my wedding. I highly recommend her as a coordinator. I would do it all over again with Peggy by my side! -

Peggy was an excellent coordinator. She helped us with everything from start to finish. She took her time to help us decide on many of the important details of our special day. She started working with us from the time we set our wedding date right up to the wedding day itself. We even have kept in contact with Peggy after the wedding. She contacted us to ask us about our honeymoon and how we were settling in to married life. Overall, Peggy is an excellent coordinator and anyone would be lucky to have her as a wedding coordinator to help you plan your special day. She treats each bride like it is the only bride she has and gives her undivided attention. -

Peggy really brought my whole day together. She helped me stay organized and reviewed all my ideas with me- helping to guide me into making them into a reality. I was very set on planning most of my wedding with detail and was on a budget but I could not have done it with the coordination of Peggy. She was so great in sharing her experience of what was possible and helped me figure out all my details. She had great recommendations for me when I was stuck and was there all day the day of to pull it together. Her assistant was incredible and they both made sure it was the best possible day for me. She is SO kind, comfortable to work wth and an excellent communicator. I would work with Peggy on any event in the future if she had availability. Everyone raved about the reception and I think they were telling the truth since we had to basically escort people out! Not possible without her! Thank you a million Peggy! -

Great vendor, great value
We hired Peggy as our Day of Coordinator. We needed someone to keep everything running smoothly during set up, the ceremony, the reception, and cleaning up. She attended our rehearsal and helped everyone get on the same page for how the ceremony was going to run. She had some great new ideas regarding set up of the venue, and made sure everything looked how we wanted it to and took stress off of us day of by communicating with all of the other vendors. She cleaned up everything and packed it all up for us at the end of the night, so we didn't have to worry about anything. She is very personable and kind, very responsive, and sweet, putting us at ease. -

Peggy was very open to all that took place as it wasn't a typical reception and had some great suggestions. We used her for the reception only as the wedding had taken place 10 months prior. She also had some great back up vendors list if we had difficulty finding some. She kept the bride's mother calm and focused on the days prior and the day of the event. I would consider her for a huge party that wasn't a wedding if she was willing to do so! (this is the bride's mother writing this review!) -

I found Peggy on a wedding vendor website. I chose her based off her location and the positive reviews from other brides that had Peggy as their coordinator. We planned on having a big wedding in the Fall but plans changed once my church was set to close and my grandmother became ill. So we pushed the wedding up by 4 months and decided 3 weeks before that it would be a good idea to have a coordinator even though we were having a much smaller wedding. Peggy was readily available and we met days later. She never was worried about the time frame that she had to work with and listened to all my ideas, no matter how crazy they were. Peggy also gave a lot of advice based off her years experience doing weddings and I was very thankful for that. It felt good not having to worry about the details because I had so much trust in Peggy and of course she did not let me down. Our day went beautiful and without incident. Peggy wore many hats during our wedding weekend from coordinator to our maitre d who announced us coming in. I would highly recommend Peggy to any bride no matter how big or small your wedding is. Peggy was a pleasure to work with and was available 24/7! -

Peggy did a wonderful job setting up the decorations and personal touches for our Fall 2015 wedding. Everything looked great, and was just how we had pictured it. She provided some useful advice throughout the planning process, and was there to reassure me through some of the more stressful parts. We could not have pulled off many of the visual aspects of the wedding day without her services, since the venue was only available 2 hours before our event for any set up! I did not have to worry about assigning friends and family to do the set up for us - Peggy took care of everything! We are so glad that we employed our services for our amazing wedding. -

My mom recommended that I work with a coordinator and as a recent bride. I cannot recommend it enough. All parents involved felt comfortable, informed, and calm on the wedding day. Especially during a pandemic, Peggy and Sue helped us feel empowered, comfortable, and safe on our big day. -

I am sad to say that I was very disappointed by the services Peggy provided for our wedding. We hired Peggy to be our wedding day coordinator and prior to the wedding she was great and assured us everything would go smoothly. Unfortunately this was not the case as there were a number of things I had trusted Peggy to handle on our wedding day, which were not accomplished. For example, she packed up our belongings and there were a few sentimental items that we did not get back, the timeline I prepared did not go as we discussed, tables were not situated as discussed, transportation was misguided, etc. Our wedding day was beautiful and of course I realize not everything will go exactly as planned; however, I expect more to go as planned than not when paying someone $1,625.00 to pay attention to such details. If I had to do it again, I would not hire Love on a Shoe String. -
