Our planning team could not have loved working with Mary and her team more. They showed up on time, put together beautiful flower arrangements, executed the decor set up, and put together a lovely meal for our clients. As a planner, I love working with a catering team that handles the decor details and set up so we can be focused on the couples needs and ensuring the overall logistics of the day are on track. Mary and the LIITA staff were an absolute joy to work with and I am looking forward to working with them again!

Exceptional!

Linda was an absolute delight to work with. She did our catering, florals, wedding cake, and table centerpieces. On our wedding day it rained and we had to quickly move to the indoor back-up plan. Without even having to ask, Linda made sure the fireplace was gorgeous beyond words. She was such a blessing to our day and everything was absolutely beautiful and tasty! Outstanding!

I was blown away by the service my husband and I received from Love is in the Air. These ladies are outstanding! We used the company for our wedding and sourced our food, dishes, glassware, flatware, linens, bartenders, champagne punch, and cake through them. The food was excellent, our cake was gorgeous (and delicious), the service was professional, and their attention to detail was so appreciated. They thought of everything and were more than willing to work with us. We enjoyed their collaborative style and appreciated their level of engagement with us during the planning process. They are creative and fun and really helped us bring our vision to life. The servers and bartenders were incredibly professional and well-organized at the reception. We appreciated all the little details Love is in the Air incorporated—from the signage at the buffet, the display of beverages, the gorgeous table settings, etc. They even packed us large to-go boxes of food and cake from the reception, which we appreciated in our hotel and the next day. I still cannot believe the level of service and quality we received for the price. Thank you both so very much!

Magical wedding

I may be biased but I'm pretty sure I had the most beautiful wedding ever and the reason: Mary and Love is in the Air. She and Linda were the first vendor we hired and they were involved from day one and I am so grateful to them! They helped us with so many recommendations for every aspect of the wedding too. My mom and I pulled photos and described what we wanted and she did that and so much more! Guests were taking photos left and right and it was absolutely stunning and magical, like a forest created in a ballroom. She did the florals inside and out and from the chandeliers and the bar and on the tree and worked tirelessly but was also so easy to get along with and thoughtful and creative and I couldn't be more pleased. And the bouqets! All of it! I wouldn't change a thing, and my mom does flowers for weddings but on this day needed to be mother of the bride which is why this was one of the most important vendor choices we made--and Mary NAILED IT. Thank you so much for giving me the most dreamy, fun, perfect wedding.

Incredible, Amazing, Great!

Love is in the Air provided the most beautiful flowers and cake for my wedding! I still here about how delicious the cake was! Their service was so efficient. We spoke only a few times and they were on top of their game! They showed up to the wedding venue, set up the cake up and delivered freshly picked flowers. I didn’t have to worry about anything. This was the kind of service that I was hoping for and they exceeded my expectations!!!!! Thank you Love is in the Air!

Absolutely wonderful!

Linda and Mary were the best people to work with from start to finish. They gave me their honest opinions and guided me through all the decision making. For the reception, I couldn’t decide how I wanted it to look, so I told them to surprise me. They created something better than I could’ve imagined! We got so many compliments from our guests about the decor and the food! They are truly the best!

Absolutely Amazing

Love is in the Air did such a wonderful job with our flowers and centerpieces, among other things. I am so thankful for their flexibility and abilities to change a few things last minute as we were dealing with the threat of major rain on our wedding day. Despite the looming forecast and a very gray day everything turned out perfect! My photographer even got a great picture of the girls flowers in their rain boots!

So much love for Love Is In The Air

These ladies knocked it out of the park! They arranged a gorgeous charcuterie table for our guests to enjoy during cocktail hour and a delectable autumn meal that was entirely gluten free. They also set up our tables with their gorgeous vintage china, flatware, etched glass ware, and linen napkins. Finally, they made three gorgeous signs (welcome, seating chart, and menu board) to help make our day go smoothly. They are incredibly passionate about what they do and were super fun and easy to work with. It was a huge relief to be able to accomplish so much with just one vendor and to be confident that it was going to be handled beautifully. Pick LIITA—you will love them!

Perfection

Love is in the air is perfection! One of the best things about this business is it’s a one stop shop. They can do EVERYTHING you need! We had them do our decor, florals, dinner, calligraphy, and even our dessert. This was key in our wedding planning process as it makes it more difficult trying to coordinate so many different vendors and make sure everyone is on the same page. We didn’t have to go through that stress or frustration at all. Every little detail was taken care of for us and ahead of schedule and nothing was overlooked. Love is in the air’s attention to detail is exquisite. If we had any questions or modifications to anything we got a prompt response and they were willing to work with us and were very easy to talk to. They truly just wanted to do everything they could to make us happy. We would choose them over and over again hands down. We look back at our wedding pictures and are still in awe that it was actually ours!

I cannot say enough good things about the two beautiful women who run Love is in the Air. They literally took care of everything for my wedding: cake, design, food, flowers, etc. I told them about what I wanted and they created this amazing, unique concept for my wedding and I had to worry about absolutely nothing. I trusted them 100% and they created the most magical wedding I have ever seen. Their work is hands down the best in the business and they are so easy to work with. Everywhere you looked at our wedding there was something beautiful. The food was amazing! Everything they cooked up tasted so great and our guests loved it all! And don't get me started on the cake! They have the best flavors out there and the cake tasting was one of the best days I had while planning my wedding because everything was amazing! I loved so many we actually had four flavors! Not only can they cook but they have such an eye for detail. They create gorgeous arrangements and settings for the tables. I just got my pictures back and they were stunning because of Love is in the Air's work. Let me also mentioned I cried when I got my bouquet because it was one of the most stunning things I have ever seen. You CANNOT go wrong with these two wonderful women and I am so happy they are now a part of our family for life!

Where do I begin!? I could not be happier with my experience with Love is in the Air (LiTA). Linda and Mary are an absolute dream to work with. My husband and I got married at Sierra Vista, VA, but I planned the wedding from California. I gave the LiTA ladies some of my inspiration photos from Pinterest and they came back to me with PERFECT ideas. I was so worried planning a wedding from across the country, but they instantly “got me” and from that point forward, I knew I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. It was such an enormous weight off my shoulders. LiTA provided our florals (ceremony and reception), décor (ceremony and reception), food, and cake. Words literally cannot describe how perfect EVERYTHING was. They took my inspiration photos and made our wedding something that was far beyond my wildest dreams. What LiTA created was literally better than what I had ever imagined. The florals were stunning. Inside the reception area, I was speechless. We did gold sequined tablecloths with rose gold, peach, mint and dusty rose floral centerpieces. Everything looked SO warm and SO romantic. I am a huge foodie, and since I planned the wedding from CA, I was actually not able to taste Love is in the Air’s food until our wedding day, but put my trust in them because of their great reviews. When I was able to eat, I was absolutely floored. It was better than I could have ever imagined. The dinner itself was beyond delicious. Choosing Love is in the Air was by far the best decision we could have made for the wedding. They put together a PERFECT dream wedding, and the whole process was so easy and so fun. They have it down to a science and immediately understood my vision and what they needed to do. Linda and Mary were also super responsive and easy to reach via email and phone. I think every email I ever sent was responded to within a few hours max. I cannot recommend Love is in the Air enough!! So much love for Love is in the Air!

Love Is In The Air truly made our wedding feel like a fairy tale! They created an absolutely gorgeous dessert table that included a beautiful three tier wedding cake, an anniversary cake, strawberries dipped in chocolate, macaroons, chocolate covered pretzels, and cupcakes. The cake was absolutely stunning … not to mention delicious! My wedding guests continue to comment on it! We loved it so much that we plan on ordering one for our anniversary each year! I came to Love Is In The Air only knowing that I wanted a glamorous wedding that featured shades of blush pink. They took that one thought and created the wedding of our dreams! I can't say enough about the stunning ceremony decorations, sweetheart table, and floral arrangements. I also asked Love Is In The Air to calligraph my save the dates and wedding invitations. They were gorgeous! My sister and matron of honor used Love Is In The Air’s beautiful china to host my bridal shower tea party! During the process of planning my wedding, these ladies became like my family!

If you need a group that does your flowers, decorating, and food and gives you a stress-free experience, go with these ladies. They took my ideas, added their own, and then produced a truly beautiful and unique brunch wedding. They are wonderful to work with and they make the best food. My guests are still raving about the food weeks after the wedding. The flowers were the most beautiful I have seen. They were so flexible and patient with me when the weather was iffy and I had to decide last minute whether to keep it outside or inside. Can't say enough about them!

Both our wedding cake and draping for our ceremony were done by Love Is In The Air.

Our wedding cake flavors were delicious- honestly the pound cake + lime was our best flavor!
The cake itself looked exactly like I wanted it to.

The wedding draping was beautiful. I came to the rehearsal and it was done in a way that I didn't like, but they came back and made it look beautiful!

Linda & Mary we're awesome! The food, my cake, flowers everything was perfect! They took my vision & make it 100xs better! I wanted to have a old baby carriage for our daughter to come down the alse in & they delivered! Where they found it I have no idea... but it was perfect & beautiful! I also wanted a certain flower that was out of season. I thought we were going to have to use artificial ones but Linda & Mary made it happen! To my surprise, the real flowers were in my décor & bouquets! They really made my night perfect & everyone cannot stop talking about good my food & cake was!!

The ladies of Love Is In The Air are one of a kind! They had great ideas for our daughter's wedding, and the execution of those ideas made it a most unforgettable day! All the attention to detail made the day almost magical! The catering, flowers, cake and decor ALL worked together beautifully! I can't say that I have ever seen more beautiful flowers for a wedding!

This vendor provided catering, cake and a ton of planning and advice! They also provided linens and china and assisted us in ordering other supplies. From my first meeting with Mary and Linda I knew I was in good hands. This was my first wedding for one of 3 daughters. The bride and groom were in the USMC stationed in Okinawa Japan so planning was challenging. However Mary and Linda gave me lots of ideas and seemed to have a vision for our event from the beginning. We had a buffet style dinner and the food was absolutely amazing! We are still getting comments from the guests on how good it was! The food and it's presentation was great and I have heard nothing but rave reviews.

Love Is In The Air also designed and prepared the wedding cake. We had the challenge of the bride's ever changing ideas about the cake! However we were able to meet with Mary and Linda just before and found that the design that they had created was exactly what she wanted, and it was gorgeous! They also helped us find the perfect cake topper on Etsy.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful job they did with our event. They were so helpful to this struggling Mother of the Bride!

We had a steampunk wedding and they took that idea and gave it their all. They care so much about what they do and you can tell it in their work. We had no idea what the cake looked like until the day of the wedding. We were blown away with their work. Talk about thinking outside of the box! We loved all of the decor that they had, it's was magnificent!

Love is in the air did an AMAZING job with our wedding. We had a Sunday morning wedding with a brunch reception, so not the typical thing. They made everything SO easy for me! I just told them a little bit about the wedding and what I was hoping for and they put together a package that covered everything. It was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious (and looked great too!). The cake was beautiful AND tasty. The flowers were exactly what I wanted. The table decor was exactly what I had envisioned. Oh, and did I mention that we didn't even meet in person until the day of the wedding!? I was planning everything from DC so we communicated through a few emails and phone calls, yet they managed to do everything EXACTLY as I had imagined it--and more! Also, they had worked in the past with the ceremony/reception venue (The Trivium) so they worked seamlessly together. It was so nice not to have to coordinate anything between them.

Also, we ended up having fewer people than we expected (and had already paid for as the minimum) so they upgraded other aspects of the flowers/food to make up the difference. They definitely didn't have to do that, and it was much appreciated.

They were all so pleasant and sweet and helpful on the day of the wedding too!

I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I would HIGHLY recommend them!

I can't begin to describe how amazing Linda and Mary are. From before I ever met Linda and Mary they went above and beyond to accommodate me. I was living about 3 hours away from where Linda and Mary are and where my wedding was going to be, so arranging face to face meetings wasn't an easy task. I planned on going to a bridal show Linda and Mary were at so they made accommodations to take time out of their very busy day there to sit down and discuss my wedding and begin planning with me so I did not have to make a separate trip back into town to meet with them. All I had to do was give Linda and Mary a general idea of what I wanted and they were able to run with it and make amazing, beautiful decisions (they even followed my pinterest board to get a feel for what I wanted to do!). From the wedding cake, to the flowers, to the grooms cake, down to little details I would have never dreamed of, they took care of it all. They are two of the most creative and talented people I have ever worked with and they made the whole process incredibly stress free. My wedding day truly was a perfect day, and a lot of this was due to the outstanding work of Linda and Mary and their staff at Love Is In The Air. I would recommend any bride looking for a caterer to get in touch with them!

Love Is In the Air, what can you say, not enough words to describe Linda and Mary. They provided food, cake and flowers for our daughter's wedding at the Trivium. The creativity that these ladies have is beyond belief. We gave them an idea as to what Brittney wanted and they far exceeded our expectations. Brittney wanted a very special groom's cake and they came up with the idea of a replica of their dog ( golden retriever) wearing a Penn State jersey with his name on the back. We had so many guests compliment on the flowers ( the prettiest they had ever seen at a wedding), the food, the cake and the atmosphere that was created by Linda and Mary. We wanted our daughter's wedding to be as perfect as possible and Linda and Mary went beyond that and made it perfect. This is not a job for them it is a passion and they remove all stress and worry by making sure that you know they will take care of every detail. We can't thank them enough for what they did to create memories that Brittney and Matt will cherish for a lifetime.

These two ladies are absolutely fantastic! I told them the kind of reception I wanted and they made my dream wedding a reality. They went above and beyond for every single detail involved and even purchased the linens that I had an eye for when they didn't have them. I'm not the type of person that takes the time to go online and write reviews on businesses, but Love is in the Air is an exception! I can not explain how wonderful these ladies and their staff made my wedding day. From the decorations (breathtaking, and BETTER than what I imagined), to the food (people are still talking about how good it ALL was!), to the quality of service (their honesty and genuine care and concern about my event was beyond all expectations), and to the responsiveness (I think I changed my mind about 30 times!) of Linda, Mary, and their staff.... I'm blown away. Love is in the Air will do anything they can to make sure not only that your day is awe-inspiringly beautiful, but they will take care of you and your family on the day of the event. These thoughtful, caring, talented ladies deserve a standing-ovation, and hopefully my review does them justice.

As Mother of the Bride, it was my job to oversee the set up of the venue for my daughter's wedding reception. We became pressed for time and Love is in the Air stepped up to attend to the finishing touches. I was so pleased at the attention to detail and the thoughtfulness they showed our family. During the reception, everyone on the team was very helpful in serving and completing an immaculate clean up. The food was absolutely delicious! Everyone commented on the quality and the taste...better than many restaurants. I didn't worry about a thing. I would definitely highly recommend Love is in the Air to cater your next event. There are simply no words that have been invented to describe the level of gratitude my husband and I feel towards Linda, Mary, and their stellar team at Love Is In The Air! As a part-time wedding planner myself, I'm well acquainted with a multitude of vendors in the weddings and events industry in Central Virginia, and I was so impressed with every single event I'd seen that Love Is In The Air had put on that my husband and I literally chose our date around their availability to ensure that we could work with them! They were one vendor that was on our non-negotiable list - we HAD to have them! We were so blessed to have them do many things for our wedding - our decor was out of this world gorgeous! The linens on the table were so beautiful and we received so many compliments from our guests! They provided our catering, and I was one bride who actually ate every.single.bite of her dinner! (My husband did, as well, so that's saying something!) They did our centerpieces, which were gorgeous submerged orchids in fuchsia and orange, and they created my bouquet with no direction from me - it was the prettiest bouquet I'd ever seen and it was SO me! When they asked me about what I wanted for our wedding cake, I had hit a wall creatively - I had seen NOTHING that inspired me at all. I asked them to come up with some ideas that they'd really wanted to do and just hadn't had the bride for it. They sent me the most GORGEOUS design - three tiers, all buttercream, and RUFFLES for days! I felt so comfortable with them making creative decisions and my husband and I have called our wedding day the "Best Day Ever" from the second it started and it really was! Our 250 guests (who came from Maryland all the way to Alabama) raved about the details of our wedding, and we have Love Is In The Air to thank for that! We hired Linda and Mary from "Love Is In The Air" to design multiple decor aspects of our wedding this past October. From the very moment we met them, we knew we had to hire them! My wife was very specific in terms of what her "Vision" was for her wedding day. Linda and Mary were the ONLY ones that we talked to that "Got it!" When we arrived at our wedding, we were blown away! The ceremony area was decorated better than we could have ever imagined on our own. The decor on the gazebo, the vintage cups of flower petals that everyone tossed in the air after we said I do, our candy buffet, the center pieces, etc... I could go on and on for hours about how gorgeous everything looked. When it's your wedding day, you want someone who "Gets You" and "Your Vision" that you can trust. Linda and Mary went so far above and beyond, we would never be able to thank them enough. We just want other couples to know how happy we were with hiring them and how "Love Is In The Air" exceeded all of our expectations for our special day! The service was very, very personal and customed to our desires. We were constantly being asked if everything was okay and if there was anything they could get or do for us. Linda and Mary are two extremely talented women who have a passion for what they do. This passion shows in everything they touch. I was amazed by how many details they took care of for me. These ladies are THE BEST!!! We HIGHLY recommend Love is in the Air for all your wedding/reception needs. They have an innate sense of what the bride wants, even when presented with only an outline to work with. They did the flowers, decorations, catering, and wedding cake for both of my daughters weddings. Both times everything was top notch...the food-delicious; the decorations/flowers-gorgeous; and the wedding cakes-DIVINE!!!! These ladies were so incredibly wonderful to work with!! After just the first meeting they seemed to know exactly what I was going for. The food was so incredible that a lot of guests complimented my husband and I on our picks. The flowers were unbelievably fresh and beautiful. My husband and I used Love Is In The Air for our wedding day decor, cake, catering, and flowers....and we couldn't have been happier! These ladies know just what they're doing, and take the time to understand just what you're dreaming of to make your wedding day perfect for you. They go to great lengths to capture your vision, and then bring it to life so perfectly! As a bride, the flowers were what I was looking to most about the decorations for my big day...and boy, did these gals deliver! They looked so much more beautiful than I ever could have imagined, like my Pinterest pictures had jumped off the computer screen into real life! Beautiful Arrangements!

I was overall very pleased with their arrangements! They did the flowers for our wedding, including bouquets, boutonnieres, florals on the cross, and table centerpieces at the reception. They had great ideas about what will hold the flowers for the tables and had a large selection to choose from. Their flower choices were great, although some didn't look as vibrant as I would have thought. May have been that the flowers were not in season or a rough transit to the venue. My two other critiques are I had sent a semi-last minute email in the week or two prior to the wedding asking for there to be foliage on the welcome sign of the ceremony and was told that wouldn't be a problem, but on the day of the welcome sign was bare. And months prior to the ceremony we met at their office location for a planning meeting, but it was definitely something we could have done over Facetime or Zoom. We traveled over 3 hours to be there for the meeting, and I personally didn't feel like it was necessary to drive all that way to pick vases and look at Pinterest. I thought more would need to be put in to the meeting so I didn't question meeting in person, but if you're coming from outside the area, maybe advocate to see if you don't need to waste the gas! Overall, I was pleased!

Good, but some improvements.

Love is in the air is a great catering company. They did our food, cake, and flowers. For being a budget bride, they are good, but I do wish we had the chance to communicate more. My flowers the day of were beautiful, I just wish my comments were heard about "more greenery" which I emphasized in the contract and over email when asked about my style. I also asked for a cascading bouquet and I didn't get that (which is fine because they were nice, but I wish my opinions were heard.) The cake and cupcakes were great. The food was awesome, but the chicken was cooked too long and ended up being very very hard when served. All my guests and myself agreed the chicken was not cooked correctly. The steak was great and the apps presented were all a hit. I also want to mention the difficulty with emailing the vendor back and forth. When asking questions, the vendor would take up to 2 days to a week and half to respond (very random each time, although I do understand it is wedding season.. I just found it very frustrating especially when trying to get things done). I got to the point towards the end that I didn't even want to respond myself. Overall, the vendor was great. She worked with us and our ideas. Flexible with last minute changes and willing to provide menu signs and table decor in our package. If I were to get married again though, I'd really stress my flower ideas more and possibly go with another caterer. I just wasn't impressed with their food (cake was delicious and the cupcakes were good as well.)

We initially booked Love Is In the Air for our wedding cake. However, throughout the process we ended up changing vendors for two reasons. 1) We had two different tastings of their cake, and both times it was dry. This was very disappointing since we had read such great reviews. (We ended up using a different cake vendor whose cake was still moist and delicious 3 weeks after our wedding) 2) While discussing the design of the cake we were not told any of our desired designs would cost extra, however, more into the process we were informed some of our designs would actually cost extra. This felt a little deceptive to us, so in the end we decided to change vendors.
