Long is unbelievable 😍 I hardly have the words to describe how happy we are with him and his work. I am a photographer myself, so going into this, I had high expectations. He made us feel insanely comfortable, got us laughing, made us feel confident and most importantly, didn't pose us! His prompts provided us with the most natural of photos and he truly just captured our love. I couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else with some of the most important photos of our lives. We absolutely love you, Long. He will be our go-to photographer for the rest of our lives. -

Choosing Long as our wedding photographer was the best decision we have ever made! When we first reached out to Long, we scheduled a FaceTime to chat, and we immediately felt comfortable with him. Not only did he make us constantly laugh with his great sense of humor, but we could tell how much he cares for the couples he works with.
We had our engagement session in the mountains in Virginia, and Long was very communicative and easy to work with to schedule everything. He was thoughtful about each detail that went into planning the perfect photos. While the weather wasn't as nice as we'd hoped on the day of, Long turned it into the most beautiful photos we could've ever hoped for! We ended up grateful for the cloudy day because of the amazing shots that Long got. During the engagement shoot, Long continued to make us feel comfortable and laugh the whole time. We LOVE spending time with him!
Again, for our wedding day, Long was so easy to hop on a call with and talk through timelines and details. He was there to answer any questions we had and put our minds at ease. Long was at our wedding ALL DAY, worked incredibly hard, made the day SO fun, and got every photo we'd ever wanted and more. Long captured our happy tears, cherished loved ones, favorite moments we never want to forget, and the love that we felt throughout the day. I am forever grateful to Long for sharing his talent with us to memorialize our wedding day. -

Long was truly the perfect person to capture our wedding day. From the pre-wedding consultation to getting our photos back, he was so helpful and responsive!
My husband and I are not big on getting our photos taken, but Long made us feel immediately at ease and confident!
The photos are also incredible, and we will treasure them!

Long is the best. He was attentive and responsive at every point in the process. We were never concerned about reliability or quality- he followed through on all commitments and takes great care with his work. He has a way of creating settings with light that make you look at a moment in a different way. Long’s style ensures you will have uniquely beautiful photos that surprise you as well as classic must-have shota, which is exactly what we wanted. He should probably charge more, he’s clearly in it for the art/experience and not the money. -

Long was amazing! Could not of asked for a better photographer! Any of my friends that are getting Married I recommend him! My bridal party and guests all commented saying he was such a pleasure to be around day of the wedding and then when we got the pictures back I couldn’t have asked for anything more!! -

He has a great point of view and style to his photos that captured our day exactly how we wanted it. Our photos feel intimate and warm and really capture the natural surroundings. Long is truly a class act, and his work is stunning. I first met him years ago at my brother’s wedding in Raleigh, NC, where I was a bridesmaid. His work from that day left such a lasting impression that when I got engaged four years later, he was the very first photographer I reached out to.
Even though I live in Philadelphia, Long not only remembered exactly who I was but was also willing to travel the nine hours to be part of our day—and he worked within my budget, even though his services are usually valued higher. From the very beginning, he reminded me that he considers my family his family, and he was genuinely excited to see everyone again. That spoke volumes about how deeply he cares for his clients.
On our wedding day, Long arrived two hours before the ceremony and stayed until the very end of the reception. He spent the entire day with us, keeping us laughing, guiding us into beautiful poses, capturing unforgettable candid moments, and—most importantly—advocating for us. When our timeline ran behind and it seemed like we might miss our sunset photos, Long reminded us that it was our day and made sure the venue staff and DJ adjusted so we didn’t miss out. His dedication is unmatched—he literally drove from NC to Philly, photographed our wedding, and then drove straight back for another event the next day!
Our photos were delivered promptly and exceeded our expectations. They are stunning, timeless, and truly capture the joy of our day. From the very first email to the last dance, Long went above and beyond. He’s not just a photographer—he’s become family to us. If you’re considering booking with him, do it. You will get so much more than gorgeous photos—you’ll gain a caring, committed friend who will make your day unforgettable.

I highly recommend this photographer! From the very beginning, he was completely professional and took care of every detail. We felt very well taken care of at our wedding because Long remembered everything and guided us throughout! When I received the photos, Icouldn't believe how beautiful they were (I stared at them for two hours straight). Every photo was perfect! I know he spent a lot of time on them and paid attention to every detail! If you want to feel taken care of at your wedding and want the most beautiful keepsake for life, choose him! You won't regret it (and every bride knows how important photos are on a wedding day). Thank you for the photos, and we'll definitely see you at our next photoshoot! -

Long was great to work with - he is very down-to-earth and personable! Long got all of the shots that we wanted, but also remembered to capture things that I hadn't even thought of/didn't mention to him. As a scatter-brained bride, it's good to have a photographer that will remember the things you forget! It is very obvious that he is experienced in wedding photography when taking this kind of stuff into consideration. We are extremely happy with the 660+ photos we got back from our wedding day (and over 150 for our engagement shoot)! -

There are not enough words to describe how we feel about Long. Trusting him with our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. From our first phone call to the last photo taken on our wedding night, he went above and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing experience. He is truly dedicated to the art of photography, and it comes through in the attention to detail and emotion conveyed in every single photo. He made us so comfortable in front of the camera and was able to quickly dispel any nervous energy and capture something magical. He alleviated any stress surrounding our photos and made it such an enjoyable experience. His unique style allows him to capture every single moment in a cinematic way, and I feel like I am watching a movie when I look through our photos. We have received countless compliments from family and friends on the beauty of our engagement and wedding photos. If you don't hire Long you are making a mistake
Long is, without a doubt, the best photographer I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He is so kind and knowledgable... plus, his portfolio is gorgeous. I did not have a 'wish lists' of certain photos when we hired Long and all I told him was that I/we wanted to look amazing with no double chin and he far exceeded our expectations even with the little to no direction that we gave him. He easy going but knows all the best shots. If/when I need a photographer again, I will go out of my way to hire Long! -

Don’t think twice. Long is incredibly talented and has a heart to go with it. From our first meeting, we were at ease and found ourselves laughing the whole time. We decided to pivot last minute to a teeny wedding with just family with a very short lead time. Long worked with us to figure out a date and plan. From showing up with bells on, to bringing extra marshmallows to our cranky kiddo, he never missed a beat. Our photos were unbelievable. He captured our love in a way that really showed up authentically. Nothing posed, just lots of love. 10/10, no notes -

Long Yau is an absolute gem of a photographer. First of all, his pricing was the best of any of the local photographers that I contacted. He included engagement photos for only a small additional fee so that we could build a relationship before the wedding and so that we could feel more comfortable with posing. My husband and I are very camera-shy, but from the time of the engagement photos to the day of the wedding, he made us feel at ease. He was extremely professional, arriving very early to the wedding to capture me getting ready and scope out areas with good lighting for our first look. And he was incredibly generous as well—I believe we only paid for 8 hours of service, but he must have been with us for at least 10 hours on the wedding day. And then he delivered the photos, and oh my goodness…he made me look like a princess! They were absolutely gorgeous. Long’s photographs will shape how we remember our wedding for the rest of our lives, and he made the whole event look like a fairytale. I looked the happiest I have ever looked on camera. He has a phenomenal talent, and I am just so grateful that we used him. I don’t think anyone could have done a better job! -

It's difficult to figure out how to start other than simply saying Long is phenomenal! From the very first meeting my huband and I had with Long, I knew he was going to be the best photographer to work with. I could tell not only by his amazing portfolio, but also by his personality that he was going to be great to work with. Long has such a great sense of humor and it really lightens the mood, which made our wedding day feel so much less stressful. My husband and I are not the best at taking pictures but Long is such a master at his craft that he made it so easy for us with his instructions & our photos turned out stuning as a result. Perhaps the best thing about Long is that he won't take you away from the fun at your wedding & actually lets you enjoy the day while capturing your genuine self in that moment. I am so truly thankful that we got to work with Long and cannot recommend him enough & that if you are considering him for your wedding, you should absolutely book him- you wont regret it! -

Working with Long was an absolute joy! He was incredibly organized, easygoing, and knew exactly how to keep things on track while still making the experience fun. The best photographer we could have asked for!
We got so lucky that we found Long. He was an absolute dream to work with. We had the opportunity to have him photograph three events for our wedding. He is professional, has an amazing eye for attention to detail, is so so funny, and all around a great person to be around. Our family and friends have raved about the quality of our photos and how he captured real-life important moments throughout our events. We are so happy with the work that he did. A perfect choice for a wedding photographer!
Long came highly recommended by our venue, and for good reason. Working with Long was wonderful. Easygoing and with a great sense of humor, he quickly made it clear that our photography experience was going to be as low stress/low maintenance as possible. The day of our wedding he took absolutely gorgeous photos that are unmatched in quality, and he did so in an extremely efficient, laid back manner that still showcased his professionalism and experience as a wedding photographer. We cannot recommend Long enough! -

Long travelled out of state to meet us for both our engagement shoot and the wedding. He arrived at the arboretum where we were having our shoot early and scoped the place out and despite having not been there before, had all of the great spots. For the wedding, he was organized and involved. He and his assistant were always where the action was and the photos came out great! I cannot recommend him more! -
