We worked with Anna Tran as the main point of contact for our 10/8/21 wedding, and she made planning an absolute pleasure – which is no easy task during a pandemic. The venue was perfect, we received a thoughtful gift from the hotel when we checked into our room, and our guests were raving about the scenic location and delicious food. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a more memorable or beautiful wedding day, and I would recommend Loews Coronado Bay Resort to anyone.

I had my wedding at the Loews and love it. The venue is absolutely beautiful. The service I received was wonderful and helpful. This venue has it all great food, great ambiance, and great location. It was perfect for my destination wedding all my guest were able to stay in a nice hotel that had a restaurant, big pool, and little store to get the things they need. Everyone that I worked with here were very accommodating and prompt with their communication. If I could do it all over again I would for sure have it here again.

Anna made planning a wedding during a pandemic so much easier! From the start of exchanging emails with Anna it was so easy to pick Loews as the place we would be married.
Anna was extremely responsive through all of my millions of questions and changes. I truly could not have asked for a better person to work with at our venue! All of our guests are still raving about the food and how delicious it was, one of my aunts even asked this kitchen if they had the extra plate of the person that did not come because she loved the food so much! The staff during our reception was so incredible and attentive!
I would get married at Loews all over again if we could!

This property is gorgeous! Beyond the views and the ocean themed property, the aesthetics of this property are 5 star. The Management team and service team was very organized and well-trained. Wonderful experience!

Anna was very nice. She attended to all our needs and was very responsive. She exceeded all our expectations and the wedding was a success! Will be taking my wife back to Loews on our 1 yr. anniversary.

Nothing but pleasant, helpful and enjoy to work with. If it wouldn't be for Anna we wouldn't know which way to go with our wedding plans and reception. I would recommend her and Lowe's Coronado Resort to anybody.

Anna Tran was amazing, supporting us through adjusting our event from a large wedding to a minimony, and now, assisting us with our maximony in June. The pandemic made it a very difficult year to plan a wedding, but Anna was there at every step to make our dreams come true despite all of the challenges.

The team at Loews were all so amazing!! We worked with Mary-Kate and Elyse as our wedding coordinators this past September and they both did amazing jobs!!! Every step of the wedding planning process was easy and went smoothly!! Anytime we had questions or concerns they were so eager to help and prompt with solutions! Elyse was always available to answer questions and was very organized. The day of our wedding was perfect!!! If anything went wrong I wouldn’t know, because they made sure everything went as planned!! Our guests were so impressed with the hotel and its employees. Every single worker there was so kind and treated everyone with respect!! They even sent up sweet little surprises to our honeymoon suite to congratulate us which made us feel so special!! I 10/10 recommend Loews Coronado to anyone looking for a wedding venue!! We are so thankful that we chose Loews!

We had a wonderful experience at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort with our daughter’s wedding. We loved the entire experience. In fact we just went back to the Loews Coronado Bay Resort this past weekend to celebrate their one year anniversary and to relive the magical memories! Beautiful venue and exceptional service!

Elyse Charlesworth, Catering Sales Manager is great to work with and is very flexible with all the details we provided. The venue is beautiful and the views during sunset were the BEST that I have ever seen in my 25 years of living in San Diego. The Banquet Staff was great and service was amazing! I have been a meeting planner for over 25 years and this was my daughters wedding and I wanted it to be very special for her. The hotel not only lived up to my expectations but exceeded them!

We had the best experience! The food was amazing, venue absolutely beautiful. Everyone had an amazing time. I could not have asked for a better wedding. I would recommend anyone take a look at what Loews has to offer. They have so many options and they make it so special.

Everything here was done with excellence! The events and catering team was beyond accommodating and brilliant. I can't say enough great things about Loews and the caring people who work here. They answered all of my questions, anytime I called or emailed. Mary Kate is a gem of a human to work with and she will make sure everything goes well on your big day!

This review is long overdue. My husband and I tied the knot in March 29, 2019 and had our wedding reception at Loews. We had a very intimate wedding (total of 25 inc bride and groom). I worked with both Elyse and Mary Kate and let me just say they are absolutely wonderful! Everything we selected from the wedding package was amazing. The food was phenomenal ( at tasting and wedding day), the cake vendor we chose was great, as was our florist (also on their preferred list - Noemi with Trendee). I did not have a wedding planner so I took care of all the comms with everyone. Elyse and Mary Kate are truly amazing and they took care of answering all of my questions and concerns. As for the big day, we were all blown away by the reception set up, amazing job our florist did, the food, the drinks, but most important.....the service. The service provided that evening was top notch. Our family is still talking about how wonderful everything turned out. Thank you to all at Loews. Unforgettable.

Loews was the best decision I made, people were amazing and the location was perfect l.

We were walked through every step from the very beginning. The options were well suited for what we were looking for. The venue was more private than most other resorts in San Diego and allowed us to have a smooth uninterrupted wedding day. The staff were super helpful every step of the way and really took great care of us on the day of the wedding. Anna was there for us and saw us through to the end. The package was all inclusive and took care of a lot of the needs for our wedding. Loved the cake vendor, loved the scenery, loved everything. Cannot say enough good things about Loews Coronado and their staff. Price was well worth it for the most memorable day of our lives and the ease of how it went down.

We got married three days ago, after being engaged for 1.5 years. For 1 year, I was able to work with Debbie Au, who is absolutely fabulous and I have a million wonderful things I could say about her. She recommended our coordinator, Jessica Mattly of Bluestocking Event, who is also an absolute angel. We met Debbie after 8/9 months of planning for our menu tasting and venue tour, since we live out of state. We fell in love with the resort and with her. 4 months before the wedding, we were told Debbie would be moving to a different department and we would be working with Elyse Charlesworth. I was worried that my visions wouldn’t be executed as perfectly as I wanted them, since Elyse hadn’t been with us since the beginning, and I had bonded so well with Debbie, but I was absolutely astounded at how perfect and beautiful everything was! I felt swept off my feet the entire stay we had at the resort, and Elyse worked with Jessica so well, so that took a lot of pressure off. I would definitely recommend this resort for its breathtaking views, its amazing and professional staff, the delicious food, and for making us feel like royalty while we got married. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

I actually had the opportunity to work with Debbie for almost 2 years. The reason I bring that up is my husband & I were going to get married the previous year but because of our situation at that time, we decided to wait. Anyways the following year I contacted Loew's again and Debbie was promoted but remembered who I was; I think it says a lot about an establishment's team on whether your dream day is going to be perfect or not. Unless you've spent your whole girlhood planning your wedding; Debbie at Loews is your gal - if you want a beach side wedding but don't want to pay "beachside" prices get a quote from Loews and take some time to sit with Debbie you'll fall in love. I basically used her as a coordinator until I met her for the tastings... at that time she strongly encouraged me to get a day of coordinator just because of the duties that she needs to oversee & had explained to me how much easier my day would be if I had one... She introduced me to Super Woman aka Jessica Mattley with BlueStockings (that's a whole other great review) and the day of was flawless. Not to forget to mention my parents were huge fans of the both of them.

We chose Loews Coronado Bay resort as our wedding venue and were very pleased. :) It is a beautiful venue with helpful and friendly staff! Our wedding went really well, special thanks to Jennifer Hoffman (catering manager) for ensuring everything went smoothly. If you are thinking about having your wedding at Loews Coronado Bay, don't think twice, there is something very peaceful about the resort, you don't feel like leaving!! Thanks Loews Coronado for the wonderful memories, we will cherish them forever!

I don't even know where to start when it comes to describing my experience with Loews. My husband and I could not have expected nor anticipated the quality of service we received from this venue. Every detail was thought of and taken care of. They were extremely accommodating, friendly, and always available to assist with questions. I could not have dreamed of a better day! Debbie and Danielle were the two wonderful ladies that helped us through this entire journey and I could not possibly put into words how wonderful they were! When it came down to it, the venue was STUNNING, the food was unforgettably delicious (we still have guests telling us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding), and guests also noted how wonderful the service from staff was!!! Our families felt extremely welcomed when they checked into the resort and loved all of the amenities that came with staying as a guest. We also booked Mistral, their onsite restaurant, for our rehearsal dinner and that was another service to rave about. I honestly felt like a princess during this whole process and if my husband and I had to do it all over again, we would without a doubt, choose Loews Coronado Bay Resort as our venue!! We will definitely be returning for a few nights for our one year anniversary!!

After several disappointing tours of places we had thought would be ideal, walking into the gorgeous atrium of Loews Coronado's lobby was the beginning of a dream come true. The setting and the views are incredible and decoration by themselves. Deanna, the main coordinator, is phenomenal to work with and really made the whole experience so easy. The only answers we ever got were, "Yes, we can find a way to do that." It didn't hurt that the price was among the best we had seen. Being able to have our reception in the Mistral restaurant was the icing on the cake, since Chef Adam's food is truly incredible. We said goodbye to your average wedding meal and hello to gourmet service for our guests. To quote my mother, "I had so much fun at your wedding, from the very moment I stepped off the plane 'til the moment I left."
