We worked with Anna Tran as the main point of contact for our 10/8/21 wedding, and she made planning an absolute pleasure – which is no easy task during a pandemic. The venue was perfect, we received a thoughtful gift from the hotel when we checked into our room, and our guests were raving about the scenic location and delicious food. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a more memorable or beautiful wedding day, and I would recommend Loews Coronado Bay Resort to anyone. -

Wedding of our dreams!
Anna made planning a wedding during a pandemic so much easier! From the start of exchanging emails with Anna it was so easy to pick Loews as the place we would be married.
Anna was extremely responsive through all of my millions of questions and changes. I truly could not have asked for a better person to work with at our venue! All of our guests are still raving about the food and how delicious it was, one of my aunts even asked this kitchen if they had the extra plate of the person that did not come because she loved the food so much! The staff during our reception was so incredible and attentive!
I would get married at Loews all over again if we could! -

Anna Tran was amazing, supporting us through adjusting our event from a large wedding to a minimony, and now, assisting us with our maximony in June. The pandemic made it a very difficult year to plan a wedding, but Anna was there at every step to make our dreams come true despite all of the challenges. -

We had a wonderful experience at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort with our daughter’s wedding. We loved the entire experience. In fact we just went back to the Loews Coronado Bay Resort this past weekend to celebrate their one year anniversary and to relive the magical memories! Beautiful venue and exceptional service! -

The team at Loews were all so amazing!! We worked with Mary-Kate and Elyse as our wedding coordinators this past September and they both did amazing jobs!!! Every step of the wedding planning process was easy and went smoothly!! Anytime we had questions or concerns they were so eager to help and prompt with solutions! Elyse was always available to answer questions and was very organized. The day of our wedding was perfect!!! If anything went wrong I wouldn’t know, because they made sure everything went as planned!! Our guests were so impressed with the hotel and its employees. Every single worker there was so kind and treated everyone with respect!! They even sent up sweet little surprises to our honeymoon suite to congratulate us which made us feel so special!! I 10/10 recommend Loews Coronado to anyone looking for a wedding venue!! We are so thankful that we chose Loews! -

We had the best experience! The food was amazing, venue absolutely beautiful. Everyone had an amazing time. I could not have asked for a better wedding. I would recommend anyone take a look at what Loews has to offer. They have so many options and they make it so special. -

Everything here was done with excellence! The events and catering team was beyond accommodating and brilliant. I can't say enough great things about Loews and the caring people who work here. They answered all of my questions, anytime I called or emailed. Mary Kate is a gem of a human to work with and she will make sure everything goes well on your big day! -

Magical wedding at the Loews
Had the best wedding at the Loews last weekend. Everything was perfect. Staff was amazingly friendly, accommodating, and made us feel really special the whole time we were there. We did our wedding and welcome reception (the night before) at the Loews. Anna was amazing to work with and so helpful through the entire process. I would highly recommend the Loews to anyone looking for their dream wedding to come true! We can’t wait to come back to celebrate our anniversary at the Loews! -

Mallory Sent on 04/23/2018We got married three days ago, after being engaged for 1.5 years. For 1 year, I was able to work with Debbie Au, who is absolutely fabulous and I have a million wonderful things I could say about her. She recommended our coordinator, Jessica Mattly of Bluestocking Event, who is also an absolute angel. We met Debbie after 8/9 months of planning for our menu tasting and venue tour, since we live out of state. We fell in love with the resort and with her. 4 months before the wedding, we were told Debbie would be moving to a different department and we would be working with Elyse Charlesworth. I was worried that my visions wouldn’t be executed as perfectly as I wanted them, since Elyse hadn’t been with us since the beginning, and I had bonded so well with Debbie, but I was absolutely astounded at how perfect and beautiful everything was! I felt swept off my feet the entire stay we had at the resort, and Elyse worked with Jessica so well, so that took a lot of pressure off. I would definitely recommend this resort for its breathtaking views, its amazing and professional staff, the delicious food, and for making us feel like royalty while we got married. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. -

We had an absolutely beautiful wedding day at Loews. Everything went very smoothly and you can tell that all the staff at Loews are complete professionals. We used The Pointe as our ceremony spot, The Avalon room for our cocktail hour, and the Constellation room for our ballroom. The Pointe is beautiful and more intimate than some of their other ceremony sites since it's off to the side. We contracted with a rental company to lay down a walkway over the grass to increase accessibility for our wheelchair using guests. There was a very private spot for our first look. We worked with Kecia to arrange everything and she was an absolute gem to work with. The Avalon room is also an absolutely gorgeous spot--one of the best views I've seen in all of San Diego. We hosted our next day brunch there and it was perfect. Even though there were multiple other weddings going on during the same weekend, nothing interfered with our events and we felt very well taken care of. Could not have asked for a better day! -

Racheal Sent on 01/14/2014This place was amazing! I hosted my wedding at this resort on New Year's Eve and everything was perfect. We had a small intimate wedding only about 65 people and the hotel still treated us like a top priority. I worked closely with Deanna Jones in catering and she was so helpful she answered all of my questions and concerns and went above and beyond her job. She was patient when we had family members decided to come at the last minute and even helped us plan an amazing midnight surprise for our guests. She even made sure we had our favorite candy bars and deserts for the smores bar. Everything was perfect and I can't wait to go back with my husband for our first anniversary. -

We first took a tour of the property about a year and a half in advance. This property books out well in advance with wedding events and corporate gatherings. We decided on the Loews because of its true resort feeling. We had many guests from the East coast and wanted them to enjoy all the property has to offer.
Leading up to the events the staff at the Loews was very helpful and would typically respond to emails within a day or two. They also went out of their way to accommodate various requests.
All three of our wedding related events went as planned and the Loews went above our expectations all three days. We can’t thank the entire Loews staff enough and a special mention of Elyse, the catering manager. Elyse attended the events herself to ensure things were done correctly. She also would frequently check in with my wife and I to make sure we didn’t have any concerns.
