We had to make the decision at the end of May to move our entire wedding from Hawaii to Islamorada due to COVID. Having lived in the Upper Keys previously, I had plenty of personal references to wedding planners and vendors. I'm glad I went with my gut and chose Lyndsey Mae! She was always there for me and picked up the phone at anytime of the day or night. She has great relationships with her recommend vendors and truly cared about where we could "save money". She stuck with me through 3 nights of events...not just the wedding day. Last minute changes were met with a smile and a "yes we can do that!" Lyndsey Mae is truly a special person and I am still in awe of our wedding that she coordinated perfectly! -

If you’re like me and google everything literally stop now because you’ve found your wedding planner. She is the best wedding planner in the Florida keys! Her and her team made everything SO flawless and beautiful! I told her to run with her vision after seeing her work and all we did was send her some Pinterest inspo (yes that’s all it took) and she delivered!! She was great at communicating with us the entire time and knew ALL the best vendors to work with (she gave us a few options for each and if they weren’t it, she gave more!) Literally created everything I could’ve imagined and more for our wedding! When you look back on your wedding photos and the experience you stress about the details but with Lyndsey the details are more than taken care of, they’re exquisite.
I would scream her name from the rooftops if I could, if you are planning a wedding in the Florida Keys, call her NOW! There simply are no words to describe how Lyndsey Mae took a vision and crafted the most gorgeous, simple yet elegant display for our special day. We didn't want a huge to do, we didn't want a large display of extras. We wanted simple but tasteful. We wanted the focus to be on us and our friends and family whom we invited to our destination wedding. Lyndsey Mae asked a few specific questions and waved her magic wand and what was presented to us on our day was truly something written in a Disney movie. Her creativity is like nothing I’ve ever seen. She helped me create the most unique, touching and special entrance to my ceremony. It was nothing I’ve ever seen done and it was so special.
I was taken aback and speechless by the detail she added to the already beautiful landscape in Key West. Lyndsey Mae is the best there is. I knew immediately that I needed her leading my team for our wedding after speaking to her. I knew that I could give her 100% creative control and not regret it. It was the best thing I could have done. Trusting her with our special day was the easiest decision I had to make and it was the best decision I made.

Lyndsey and Jill were amazing! My now husband and I wanted an intimate wedding in Marathon Key, Florida. We got everything we dreamed of and more. From the first phone call I felt a connection to Lyndsey. While she’s very professional, she is also very personable, caring and relatable. Any questions or worries I had, she immediately answered and calmed me. Lmae Events connected us to our photographer, Hello Pretty Photography, our florist, KeyLargo Florist, our officiant, Connor and my hair and makeup artist, Melissa at Beauty and the Beach. Jill and her husband were instant friends and got me down the aisle on time to the perfect music and made sure all the details were in order. Lyndsey & Nina were AHHHMAZING!!! We wouldn't of had the wedding of our dreams without them! For a destination wedding, I needed an inside person who knew which vendors to use and fit what we were looking for. Lyndsey knew exactly what we wanted and made our day perfect! There are no words to describe how pleased I am with Lyndsey Mae's work and the wedding that she made possible for my husband and me. We got married on June 24th, 2023 in Key West, FL, and, although the wedding was delayed several times, Ms. Mae went above and beyond during the wedding planning process! I used to visualize what my wedding would look like when I was a young girl, and I can honestly say that Ms. Mae exceeded all of my expectations. Everything from the destination to the reception, even the arch was absolutely perfect. When I laid eyes on the decorations, I could tell that so much love and effort went into all of it. Ms. Mae is beyond phenomenal at her craft and I will happily recommend her to friends and family. The vendors who worked with Ms. Mae also deserve praise for making this possible with their hard work and dedication to what they do. Through this process, my husband and I acquire a good friend and someone we can recognize as a family member. We'd want our good friend to know that there aren't enough stars to show how much we appreciate her work and everything that she's done for us. Lynsey Mae is a dream come true wedding planner. I originally hired Lyndsey Mae as a month of coordinator. About 3 weeks out from our wedding date, there were plenty of details left to address. Lyndsey Mae and I met via zoom a few times, and she was able to get me to the finish line! She went above and beyond to keep me on budget and worked with my ideas.
For my rehearsal, her assistant, Nina was there. Nina was a ball of energy moving all the details along and making sure we were prepared for the big day.
The day of, I met Lyndsey Mae in person. She and Nina worked nonstop to make every detail in their power perfect. LMAE / Flaming Flamingos added some beautiful tables and details to dress up the ceremony and reception. Lyndsey Mae designed a petal bar for the guests which was a HIT!
LMAE went above and beyond her contracted responsibilities. Her focus on manifesting our wedding vision outweighed the details on the contract and I was extremely grateful for her enthusiasm and love of her work. In good faith, I did what I felt was right to show appreciation for the level of interest, work, and love put into our wedding.
Thank you very much LMAE and Nina for making our dream wedding come true, and rather quickly! I strongly recommend LMAE and all of her beautiful rentals for anyone planning a wedding! -

She recently did my daughter's wedding at Cheeca Lodge and it was beyond our wildest expectations. Lyndsey Mae was absolutely AMAZING to work with (to say the least). She was our month of + day of coordinator, but I felt like she was with us every step of the way. No matter the day or time, she made time for us. She has so much knowledge, creativity, and experience so is able to give you awesome suggestions and guidance, while brainstorming ideas with you to make it YOUR day! She checked in with us + our vendors a number of times leading up to our big day and checked in with us after our wedding as well! Especially with living in Michigan and getting married in Florida, it was super helpful having her there to make sure things were coming together great. Everything she does is so genuine, thoughtful, kind, and fun!! & her new furniture and design company, Flaming Flamingo… ooo does she have gorgeous items and will put together the most beautiful lounge + photo booth areas and elevate your cocktail hour + dinner with things like chargers, cute tables & more!!
Nina, one of her assistants, helped us run through rehearsal the evening before (she was so patient with our large family/bridal party and extremely helpful + fun!!), then her and I went through a few back up plans and details Lyndsey and I had previously put together, just to make sure all was set. She calmed any nerves I still had and I just felt extremely confident in them making everything happen the next day.
Speaking of back up plans… I think Lyndsey created us a plan a, b, c, d… and they did everything in their power to make plan a work!! Even through hurricane Ian!! They held off on moving our ceremony from the beach and dinner outside because they knew how much we wanted that. & whala! The weather worked in our favor and it was absolutely perfect. They made quick adjustments to move the reception inside once the rain hit, but not until after the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and our first dances took place outside under the sun :)
Lyndsey, Nina, and Savannah were all there the day of our wedding, turning our dreams + plans into reality! They truly went above and beyond. They kept things organized and moving smoothly, brought us our signature drinks right away after the ceremony, and brought us a plate of our apps while we were finishing up photos + video! They also made sure to ask if we wanted a few minutes to ourselves or go to the last bit of cocktail hour which was important for us. Lyndsey hyped me up before walking down the aisle with my dad, chatted with us before our first dance/reception entrance, and timed everything out so well. When the switch was made to the indoor reception, it was all hands on deck and they did everything to get the party started again!! At one point Nina even grabbed my hand to bring me from the back of the dance floor to the front where my now husband was to lead the wobble together which was so amazing + thoughtful.
Long story short… if you’re looking for an incredible team to help bring your wedding together, choose Lyndsey Mae. I wish we lived in the keys so we could hang out haha :) seriously though!!

Words can express how satisfied we are with the level of care and attention we received. We had a wedding in Key Largo in which we rented out the resort. Anticipating no conflict and beautiful blue skies, we found ourselves in the eye of a hurricane. Obviously, it wasn't that bad, but the winds were intense and forced the necessity of an audible. Without a moment hesitation, Lyndsey Mae was on the job. Relocating the party inside and maintaining the high caliber we sought for our special day. Beyond that, getting everyone to disappear for my wife and I to have 15 minutes alone and enjoy the moment

As the girl who didn’t want a ‘real wedding’ but also the girl that can’t ever do anything without being extra and over the top…it took about a week of being engaged before realizing that wedding planning without a wedding planner was a terrible idea (especially when planning a destination wedding!). So in a quest to find someone who could fill the role (and put up with me), I quickly ended up down a rabbit hole of google searches while waiting for someone to respond to one of my many emails and then I stumbled across Lyndsey Mae…and thank goodness I did! Not only did she respond immediately to my initial email, but in my excitement I decided to just give her a call and she answered…and then spent the next hour bouncing ideas back and forth with me without even being hired yet and I was SOLD. Hiring her as my full planner for the next year of my life? Beyond worth every penny! Everything I threw at her, she had an answer for - down to my need for a resort with a squiggly pool and a way to incorporate our pets who were home during our trip. More importantly, she has all the relationships with all of the most amazing vendors you could ever dream of having access to and no request was ever too much - my wish was her command! Worried about rain? Of course she has a tent on backup…but a clear tent with chandeliers - who even knew that was a thing?!?! Talk about making the best lemonade out of what could have been lemons! She also helped my mother and mother in law with planning a welcome dinner…and then made it go off without a hitch despite a monsoon of a thunderstorm rolling through 10 minutes before the dinner was set to start. But she even goes above and beyond the wedding events - her recommendations are endless. Even when I wanted to plan a snorkeling trip for my guests - Lyndsey Mae told me where to call, who to ask for, and the best day of the week and time of day to do it - she’s THOROUGH and she made my life a breeze. And the best part of it all? She shows up on the wedding day, cool as a cucumber, all smiles, happy to be there and happy to be a part of it. How she got everything set up, on time, with no issues, is a mystery to me but she did it! And every time I saw her, she was happy and having a blast and making my day the best day. She became a part of the family, everyone loved her like she was family, and that’s more than I could have ever asked for. So if you are looking for a by the books wedding planner who is there to do a job, I’m sure she’d do it…but if you are down for an amazing time with an amazing friend who plans your day with you to be an out of the box once in a lifetime memorable experience - call Lyndsey Mae because she will absolutely make your day! -

She’s On It!
Lyndsey Mae is the type of wedding planner that you immediately feel comfortable with. She gets your vision so quickly, you almost wonder, does she REALLY get it? I’m here to tell you she has proven herself on every level! She’s a very impressive human catalog of where to source everything you could possibly need for your event! And she knows how to keep it within whatever your budget may be. The girl is also a workhorse as far as execution, never shying away from rolling up her sleeves or directing everyone else involved. Oh and did I say she’s a perfectionist! My daughter and I did a lot of DIY things for our Welcome Dinner and her wedding, but it was Lyndsey Mae’s finessing of it that brought it to another level! I just wish I had another wedding in the wings to plan with her! -

Lyndsey Mae made our special day even more special! I had the wedding of a lifetime. All I did was tell Lyndsey my colors, theme and vision and she ran with it and made it the most beautiful occasion. Every detail was perfect and she made sure that I didn't stress about anything. She had soo many awesome ideas for the wedding and reception . She facilitated the photographer, officiant; DJ; florist and my hair and makeup person; which all were awesome. I received soo many compliment from my guest and even strangers who walked by . My husband and I had originally hired another planner and when she couldn't fulfill her obligation she referred us to Lyndsey. Lyndsey swooped in and not only saved the day but made it everything my husband and I could have dreamed of. Lyndsey Mae was on the ball with everything we threw at her. She had answers for everything and made sure to calm us down leading up to our big day. Lyndsey made herself available around the clock no matter if the item was big or small. She was responsive and was everything we had hoped for when we hired her! Lyndsey was a ball of energy and was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend stopping your wedding planner search right here and adding Lyndsey Mae to your big day! -

I planned the majority of our wedding, i just needed someone local (to the keys) to handle things and coordinate day of so i didn’t have to worry about it any more. Google was my friend in helping me find Lyndsey Mae... and some duds as well. I knew from the moment i spoke to LMae for the first time, she was the lady for the job. She is so friendly and fun loving, and such a sweet sweet soul. She’s an old soul like myself. She’s extremely knowledgeable and she knows people... which is a great asset. It’s all in who you know, and if you are fortunate enough to know Lyndsey Mae, you’ll also have her vast source of contacts and you’ll know them as well. She wasn’t just my wedding day coordinator, but she’s become a great friend in the process, the month leading up to my wedding especially. I 100% recommend her to EVERY bride out there. LMae, An Event Company did an outstanding job coordinating our Islamorada (Florida Keys) destination wedding. From selecting the flowers and venue to wedding day arrangements, Lyndsey Mae never let us down. She was recommended to us by our hotel manager at the Hadley House. From the very beginning, she made a point to get to know us and our tastes, then made outstanding recommendations and arrangements for venue, hair/make-up, cake, restaurants, officiant, photographer, music, local gift bag swag, and more! Lyndsey Mae is well connected in Islamorada and when we had to change our ocean venue the day before due to wind, she was able to reserve an incredible location (Islamorada Fish Company), on the bay, during a beautiful sunset. I highly recommend the photographer as well - Jannette De Llanos. Her pictures captured our feelings perfectly. Thank you Lyndsey Mae, we owe our magical wedding to you! -

Simply amazing!
Lyndsey Mae was an absolute life saver for us on our wedding day. We had our wedding date and venue all picked out two years before COIVD-19 hit, Lyndsey Mae stood by our side and helped us get though all of the craziness of having a wedding during a pandemic! I’m more of a do-er than a planer type bride (never planned on getting married!) and she walked me though everything from finding other vendors to day of the wedding schedule. She helped me with my mini break downs and helped us make decisions which were important to my husband and I on our wedding day. I don’t know how we could have done it without her! She is simply AMAZING! -

Completely exceeded my expectations
Lyndsey knocked it out of the park! She made every single part of our wedding day special! She really takes your wedding personal and does everything she can to make it the best experience! From my six pence, to our champagne/glasses before & during photos. She listened to my expectations & made sure that everything from the wedding itself to the photos were just what I was hoping for. Lyndsey Mae was an absolute God send! I am quite a control freak, and she was amazing from the moment we first spoke. She understood exactly what I needed, and was able to customize a package for me that fit within my budget. She took my masses of photos, texts, emails, scale model diagrams (not even kidding), and spreadsheets and put together a day that was straight out of a dream Pinterest board. It was EVERYTHING I imagined it would be. She literally made my dreams come true! My bridal party only let me out of the room once to take a peak at the venue space while I was getting ready, and it made me feel so at ease to see everything coming together so perfectly! She remembered every detail of what we discussed, and added little personal touches to the Bride and Groom table that I had not even thought about. She was so prepared with back ups and emergency items, and helped me find rental companies last minute for a few special items! I cannot say enough how much I LOVED working with Lyndsey! And I wasn't the only one who raved about the work she did at my wedding. The Best Man hired her one we later to do his wedding in October! Other than the Groom, she was my favorite person at my wedding! -

Lyndsey Mae is literally a gift from heaven! I know how crazy it can be planning a wedding down here in the keys. I found her on here in desperation mode. I was on a budget and all my original plans were falling through the cracks. But when I contacted her she literally made me feel 100xs better instantly then I ever did, she never made me feel any type of way due to budget. She is quick thinking. So smart. Has so many great ideas! It got to the point where she was coming up with ideas that I didn’t even think about. From the start she asked the normal stuff. Budget, theme, and guests. From there it took off completely. She’s so persistent which is super great!! Never let a dime fall. She slayed our dream beach wedding in literally two weeks time! Everything was so perfect. From the positions of the chairs. Decorations. EVERYTHING. You can tell she values her work. It shows on her face which is so touching. She loves doing her job! And so organized as well. The wedding was so amazing that now my mom wants her to do her wedding. If anyone is looking for a wedding coordinator Lyndsey Mae is definitely one for you. If I could I would rate 100/100 but that’s sadly not possible on here. Lol. THANK YOU LYNDSEY!!! -

There aren't enough nice words in the English language to describe how wonderful it was to work with Lyndsey Mae. My finance and I were planning a Florida destination wedding, and she answered all of our questions, addressed a hundred things we hadn't even thought of yet, and broke down the entire overwhelming wedding planning process into something that was manageable, and dare I say it, could even be fun!? She was open to all of the ideas we gave her, didn't seem daunted by our abbreviated timeline, and was conscious of our budget at all times. I'm pretty sure she never sleeps, because we always talked with her in the late evening hours to accommodate our crazy work schedules, which meant it was night for her considering the difference in time zones. We were super disappointed that we weren't able to make a Florida beach wedding work, so we won't be able to use her as our wedding planner. During the time we were working with her, she was incredible. She knows everyone, giving you access to vendors and locations that you will not find on wedding websites. Her connections are invaluable.
Summary: Look no more. If you want to get married in Islamorada, use her. -

Amazing Sunset Cruise as a Kick-off for Wedding Weekend
When we decided to plan a destination wedding in Islamorada, it became apparent that we needed to host a first night event for all of our friends that were traveling near and far for our daughter's wedding. Lyndsey's event planning company was the perfect introduction to Islamorada for many guests that had never been to the Florida Keys. The sunset cruise was a success from the beginning; welcome mojitos on the dock as our friends and family arrived ; watching the fishermen unload their catch and seeing the manatee glide by as we boarded the boat. The captain and crew were professional yet fun to spend two hours with on the water. Lyndsey advised us on food choices and bar selections that were appreciated by our 98 guests as we enjoyed a leisurely boat ride and a spectacular sunset. If you are looking for a unique, fun-filled event that your guests will continue to talk about long after the wedding, Lyndsey will plan it for you! -

LMae handled my entire wedding at Oceans Edge in Key West in December of 2021. I knew the minute I spoke to Lyndsey that she would be my planner. She knows her stuff! She has great connections with local vendors. I wanted a stress-free planning experience and she made that happen for me. She listened to my wants and made my vision a reality—it was an amazing day. She communicated with me really well, from day one to even after the wedding.
She is a detail person, and she took care of every little thing. The florals were perfection. The cake was to die for. She connected me with an excellent photographer. She helped me to honor my mother in a beautiful way, as well as surprising me with a yellow rose (my mom’s favorite flower), and photo of my mom in my bouquet. I didn’t expect that, and it was such a special gesture. She coordinated the day’s events flawlessly.
My family and friends were so impressed with the job Lyndsey did and the experience she created for our wedding. I’m thankful to have found her and I highly recommend her! If you’re getting married in the keys, call LMae! -

Skeptic, Now Convinced
Lyndsey Mae is everything I didn't know I needed. I was skeptical about hiring a coordinator, I've done many events and felt our daughter's wedding would be a labor of love; wow was I focused on the wrong tasks. Lyndsey guided us to creative vendors, asked them the difficult or awkward questions, and made me realize my time was best spent on time with my daughter, not working out logistics. I'm incredibly thankful for the gift of time that she gave us, the wedding was spectacular, and Lyndsey made a good day, a magical day for all of us. I'm convinced that investing in her professionalism is what made the difference in us going from ordinary to extraordinary. Thanks, Lyndsey Mae you gave us memories to last a lifetime! -

If i could leave no star i would, I booked Lmae events over 10 months out from my wedding in key largo and needless to say i was sold on a whole bunch of lies. This women doesnt respond and when she does its days, weeks after. She showed up 5 hours late to a casual meeting that took me and my family 3 hours to drive to and would take her less than 30 minutes. She has you do a "wedding bible" that you have to submit 45 days out from your wedding and if you dont do it there is a risk that she will terminate your contract and leave you high and dry which is hilarious considering it can be a little confusing and she doesnt respond to you lol. She goes out of town and doesnt respond or let you know for 20 days when you are only a month out from your wedding that shes done nothing to help you with, she tells you that for a more affordable price she will put you with one of her girls and i had a contract with someone i had literally never even spoke to before. Overall lots of miscommunication - chaos - stress. I had to do everything she promised last minute and ended up having to use multiple rental companies because everyone was OUT OF RENTALS. We contacted our cc company to stop a second charge from happening and wouldnt you know she sends an email after that sounding so excited and that shes "ready to rock" after i completed everything on my own. DO NOT BOOK LMAE EVENTS. you will regret it. there is another bride that got scammed out of 7k i believe as well. If anyone wants more info or details on what we went through please reach out to me

Do not hire lmaeevents
I hired Lindsay Jan 2025 when we were getting ready to start our planning process. Things were great until they weren’t. I had hired Lindsay as a day of, fully understanding my role and that I was planning this wedding fully on my own basically. Lindsay was reassuring that if I had any questions along the way, she would be there. Not once during my process did I abuse her kindness and request assistance more than I was contracted for. When we hit our 6 month mark, I sent her an email beginning of May 2025 requesting a 30min-1hr phone call just to review what I’ve done so far and to make sure I’m not missing anything. In my contract, and on her website, it states ( please see below) “10 hours of client interaction for:
* vendor recommendations
* day of itinerary building
* final contact and scheduling with vendors”
So I wanted to use some of that time I paid for, for itinerary building and reviewing. I was told that she was extremely swamped and busy, but that I could pay an additional fee to speak to someone else on her team, or she could schedule a call for the week of the of June 23rd which was 2 months away. To which I replied great let’s chat any day that week and whatever time worked for her. This email exchange was beginning of May. I never heard from her since. Another email was sent beginning of June confirming a time for the 23rd, nothing back from Lindsay. Another email was sent the week before the 23rd and on the 23rd along with a phone call and text, nothing. I started to get worried as we were already 6 months until the wedding. I happened to stumble upon a review on “The Knot” that was exactly what I was experiencing. Missed calls, no response, and excuses. Throughout our contract when she would respond to email, she would constantly get me confused with other brides and send me wrong invoices and such. Her organization skills are questionable, which is scary when you’re hiring someone to coordinate a wedding. I spoke to my venue who also validated my feelings, and stated they were also having issues with communicating with Lindsay and removed her from their preferred vendor list. They also mentioned that their other brides have come into the venue crying with the same experience. I fired Lindsay, sent an email stating my concerns, and requested my money back, as she had not done a single thing for me and 6 months before my wedding I’m having to find new vendors (because the list of vendors she sent me that I hired ended up not also being reliable like her). This was July 2025, it is now January 2026 and I have not heard from Lindsay. Not an apology for not responding, no explanation, nothing. My new wedding planner I hired also confirmed that she has had new inquiries from brides trying to leave a contract with Lindsay because of how unreliable she is.
Please save your time, sanity, and money and do not hire LMAE events or any of the other companies that Lindsay “tries” to run, they’re all scams. -
