  11.11.23 Key Largo Wedding

  The night couldn’t have gone more smoothly, Lisa and Umphrey are amazing at what they do. They decorated the place so nicely, and the food was soooo delicious! From the appetizers, to the oyster bar, to the paella, everything came out so good. I couldn’t be happier with how the evening went and it all because of them!

  Absolutely Top Notch

  From our initial meeting, to the pre-event taste test, through the entire wedding reception, LJ's Events was absolutely fantastic! There is nothing they cannot do - they brought chairs for the wedding, tables, linens, cutlery and helped us decorate. The staff are all polite and personable. The paella being prepared on the patio during cocktail hour stimulated the senses and anticipation of what was an excellent dinner. The cost for everything they do is very reasonable. You absolutely cannot go wrong with LJ's Events!

  Excellent experience - 10/10 !!

  LJ's catered for our wedding reception. I had a wonderful experience with them from start to finish. The owners are very friendly and responsive. Our food was absolutely amazing! The bartenders also did an excellent job - they were happy to make our chosen his/her signature cocktails, which were a big hit. The owners made sure to stop by to congratulate my husband and I, gave us a hug along with well-wishes, and we all took a photo together at the end of the night - they are so sweet! I loved working with this team and could not recommend them enough! Thank you again for all of your help. :)

  The Perfect Wedding

  LJs catered our daughter's wedding in June 2023. Lisa offered great suggestions and was very responsive to anything we requested. The food was fabulous, the decor was beautiful, and the attention to detail was amazing. This allowed us to relax and enjoy the day. At the end of the evening, the bride & groom said "we wouldn't have changed a thing". LJs cared for us like family and I highly recommend them. The price was very reasonable.

  Absolute perfection

  Catered reception and brunch

  Lisa and Humphrey with LJ’s catering were an absolute pleasure to work with! They were willing to go out of their way to meet our needs to ensure we were happy at our wedding. They were very flexible with the menu and the food was GREAT! We had them cater our wedding and farewell brunch. Everyone was pleased with the food served and professionalism of the entire staff. I would recommend LJ’s to anyone looking for great tasting food and nice/professional service.

  Amazing Service, Delicious Food!

  We hired LJ's for our July 4th wedding at Key Largo Lighthouse Beach. LJ's offers so many flexible packages. We went with a taco bar, and it was delicious. They were so nice to work with as we planned the details of our destination wedding. I highly recommend them!

  That sums up my experience with LJ Catering. "Only the best"....was the attention, quality and professionalism you get when dealing with Lisa and Umphrey! From start to finish, they were absolutely 💯% amazing! Wish I had another event just so I can hire them again. Love, love, love them!!

  I am so happy we chose Lj’s catering for our wedding! They were incredible and super helpful. We had to postpone the wedding due to covid and they were one of the vendors that changed the date without an issue and we truly appreciate it. The date of the event they were professional & overall the food was amazing & everyone loved it! Would definitely recommend! Thank you Ljs!!!!

  New years eve wedding

  We had no idea the services we were going to receive for our wedding as we picked everything site unseen and based on reviews for our destination wedding. From the moment I contacted LJs catering service they were great. Umphrey responded within the hour to all of my texts and emails and answered all of my questions. When I needed to upgrade to have linen service as well, Lisa was on it making sure it was everything I had in mind. The day of our wedding everything was set up and ready and it was wonderful. Working with LJs Catering is like being taken care of by close family. I would recommend them.

  We used LJs for our wedding and rehearsal a few weeks back and honestly I have nothing but amazing things to say about these folks and their food! People are still talking about how amazing the tacos were from our rehearsal dinner. Lisa and Umphrey felt like family to us- they even brought in table linens when we found out ours were way too small. They even passed out our desserts brought in by others. You guys were so sweet and amazing! I wish we lived in the keys and could see you and eat your food way more often! Many many hugs to you and your fam- The best- do not hesitate to go with LJs!

  Umphrey and his team were so great for everything. He was so easy to get ahold of and plan with and flexible until very close to the day of the wedding with headcount and menu. All of our guests loved the food and his staff was so fun! The bartender made sure me and my husband were taken care of and friends commented on how he went above and beyond to help them get the right drinks. Our groomsmen were even able to convince some of the catering staff to join in dancing on the dance floor and they were great sports! I definitely recommend them for your wedding!

  Food, fun, in the sun

  This catering team is amazing. I am from Illinois and had a wedding in Key Largo Florida. With this team, I never had to worry about the food. We had a three day event, and they catered it all. Friday’s theme was cheeseburger in paradise. We had burgers and ribs, all amazing. Saturday was our wedding, and the food was spectacular. The bartenders took care of my guests. Sunday, we had a full brunch. What started out as a vendor ended up as family. They took care of everything! I even had a few guests with dietary concerns, and this team provided my guests with great alternatives. My guest normally can’t eat at weddings, and our wedding they left happy and satisfied. This team is the best.

They were always available to speak with me via text or email and allowed us to personalize our items. I also used them for table settings and linens and Lisa made each table look very beautiful.   Wonderful caterer

  LJ's did an amazing job catering for our wedding in June 2019! All of our guests told us the food was amazing (Jamaican Jerk Chicken, 2 fish options, sides). They did a wonderful job catering to all of our dietary restrictions as well (gluten free, vegetarian, nut free, dairy free). After we cut the cake, they even offered to pass out dessert for us. Thank you LJ's for making our reception dinner delicious stress free!
