Sierra is absolutely amazing. We had a beautiful wedding thanks to her. She made my dreams come true with all the decor, centerpieces, pictures, and glassware she brought. She had all the vendors scheduled and taken care of and everything went off without a hitch. Any problem that did arise, big or small, throughout the day was handled quickly and professionally by Sierra. I would 100% use Sierra again and have already recommended her to friends. She knows exactly what she’s doing and you won’t have to worry about anything if she’s planning your wedding. I’m so grateful for her and all her hard work, my wedding was perfect! -

Sierra is simply the BEST!!!
I am a mother-of-the-bride that has the unique perspective of having had 2 daughters get married exactly a year apart - so 2 weddings with 2 different wedding planners. The first planner we went with was Capital Occasions - Jaden Faggo, and the second wedding planner we went with was Little Bird Events - Sierra Saletta. They were 2 completely different weddings and our experience was unbelievably different.
Let me just say Sierra Saletta is the BEST there is hands down. We used her as a “partial” planner and she did more than Capital Occasions who we used as a full wedding planner. I felt like I never had to worry about anything - Sierra was always on top of it. Her expertise is way more advanced mainly because she is WAY more experienced. The quality of the vendors she recommends don’t even hold a candle to the quality of vendors we were recommended at the first wedding. Sierra has an elegance and charm about her that is hard to miss. She becomes not only a friend but part of the family. Whenever we would meet for a meeting it was usually downtown over coffee, drinks, or dinner. She developed a special relationship with my daughter where I believe they will always be friends.
The wedding day was seamless - if there were any problems we never knew about them and no one ever noticed anything. The wedding was probably one of the nicest, classiest, most fun weddings I have ever been to. Everyone who attended said the same thing - hands down the nicest most heartfelt classiest wedding they had ever attended. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed by anyone - everyone was talking about it. The whole day was in my opinion flawless - which is WAY more than I can say about the first wedding we had. Don’t get me wrong - the first wedding was OK - everyone who attended thought it was nice but it did not even remotely compare to Sierra. My main regret would be that we didn’t find Sierra sooner and use her for both weddings.
My favorite thing Sierra did was a follow up where we all went to dinner a few weeks after the wedding and sort of did a recap of all we loved and didn’t love. It was all so picture perfect from the photographer to the DJ to the decorations and the venue. It was absolute perfection. And that’s what I consider Sierra - absolute perfection with a style that reminds me of Audrey Hepburn. She simply is the BEST!!!!! -

We truly could not have had a more perfect wedding day, and that is all thanks to Sierra and her team at Little Bird Events! She has an immense knowledge of vendors in the area and helped us picked exactly the ones we needed to fit our wants and budget. Her and her team were wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. They made everything so much easier for us, and we couldn’t have had our dream day without their guidance, organization, and professionalism. All our guests were so impressed with our wedding, and we are still getting compliments about just how much fun they had! We truly had the best day, and everything felt so seamless on our end! We could not recommend Sierra and Little Bird Events enough! -

I truly don't know where to begin in reviewing Little Bird Events. I don't think our wedding would have happened without them (or at least not with a lot more blood, sweat, and tears). My (now) husband and I found Little Bird Events through some thorough Google searches and noticed the hundreds of 5 star reviews so thought we would reach out to talk to them. We had an initial introduction meeting with Sierra and Shadaya, thought it was a good fit, so partnered with them to plan our out-of-the-ordinary wedding. Saying that we gave them a challenge with our dream wedding adventure is an understatement. Bryant and I used to live in Southern California but would go on a yearly road trip towing a 12ft jet boat he built to do some sightseeing, usually from a river. The Snake and Salmon Rivers have always been our favorite stops so we decided to get married there.
Seems easy enough but not really; here's a taste of what our wedding vision entailed and what we challenged Sierra and Shadaya with:
- Pretty remote location (Riggins, ID) without close access to vendors or many normal amenities
- A ceremony venue that had never hosted a wedding, was 1.5 hours from Riggins and the reception venue, and most crazy of all, was only accessible by jet boat.
- A reception venue that had hosted weddings in the past but did not come with any amenities (tables, chairs, catering, etc. would all have to be arranged separately).
- Though we wanted the day to be an adventure our family and friends could enjoy with us, we still wanted it to be a nice affair with your typical wedding offerings (seated and catered dinner, nice table settings, quality bar, etc.)
- My family is originally from France so I wanted a traditional French dessert, a croquembouche
- Guest count of 90-110 people where 100% of people were from out of town
- All of this planned with us (the bride and groom) living in Texas
Sierra and Shadaya did not back down from the crazy asks and made all of the above come true. They helped us identify and partner with amazing vendors who all had to manage the remote location and lack of a typical wedding venue. In addition to selecting top notch vendors, Sierra and Shadaya ensured our day-of logistics went off without a hitch which was no easy task. As an example of them going above and beyond, I had forgiven to bring the small basket I had bought for the flower girl's flower petals to the ceremony venue (again, very remote and only accessible by boat). Shadaya saved the day by thinking on her feet and using one of the venue's unused woven flower pots as a makeshift basket. It worked like a charm. I didn't even notice until I saw one of the flower girl pictures after the wedding and realized my oversight. You wouldn't have guessed that wasn't the intended basket!
Shadaya and Sierra also created a very detailed and precise timeline that did not leave anything to chance and went exactly according to plan. In one of our meetings leading up to the wedding day I remember commenting that I thought I was forgetting something as I did not feel stressed or overwhelmed as I had heard so many other brides complain about leading up to the wedding day. All this to say is that we highly highly recommend hiring Little Bird Events for your event. You won't regret it. Our friends and family are still raving about the day saying that it's the best wedding they've ever attended. -

I would highly recommend Little Bird for any event that you're planning! We used Sierra and Shadaya for our wedding and they did an amazing job. They were very communicative leading up to the wedding and made sure that all of the little details were taken care of! They took all the stress off of me and my mother on the actual wedding day so that we could really enjoy everything. They designed a timeline of the day, brought all the decor to the venue, coordinated all of the vendors, took all the decor down at the end of the night, made sure that everything ran well, and much more! We had the best wedding because of them! -

Living in Boston, my husband and I were concerned about planning a wedding all the way in Boise. However, Sierra made the entire process not only effortless but also incredibly fun! Her communication was clear and consistent, and she demonstrated exceptional professionalism at every step. We genuinely looked forward to all our Zoom meetings!
Sierra selected the most amazing vendors for us, carefully listening to our preferences and understanding our personal style. She designed a wedding that was a perfect reflection of us, all while keeping us within our budget and finding ways to save money wherever possible. We felt truly cared for and supported throughout the entire journey.
On our wedding day, Sierra went above and beyond to ensure we and our wedding party were well taken care of. She was kind, respectful to all our guests, and her presence was enjoyed by everyone. Sierra was incredibly attentive, checking in on us throughout the night and ensuring we looked our best. She was truly a joy to work with. Her team of two was equally professional, kind, and helpful. Everything was absolutely beautiful!
Our wedding exceeded ourg wildest dreams. It was magical, and it’s a day we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We wholeheartedly recommend working with Sierra to anyone planning their special day! -

Little Bird Events did an amazing job with our McCall wedding! I really don't know how I would have pulled off planning a destination wedding without Sierra's help and guidance. From suggesting vendors to making design choices, she made the whole process so much easier. Sierra is an absolutely outstanding wedding planner. She went not just above and beyond but truly to the moon and back to make everyone of my wildest wedding wishes come true (of which there were many). She always had our best interest in mind when negotiating with vendors and trying to find the best solutions and prices to meet our needs. She was kind, fun, and easy to work with. She was professional and responsive. I truly cannot say enough good things about Sierra. We would hire Little Bird Events again and again and again! Easily the best investment we made of all the things we spent on for our wedding. I really cannot reccomend Sierra enough. Our wedding was truly a dream come true and so much more beautiful than I could have ever imagined thanks to her tireless efforts and can do attitude. Sierra is amazing!!
Sierra from Little Bird Events is incredible! I cannot imagine my wedding turning out as I envisioned it without Sierra! She was instrumental in the entire process of planning, finding a professional and talented photographer (Quincy Photography), finding a amazing and affordable florist (Kyle @ Costa Floral), and actually our original venue canceled on us less than 6 months before our wedding and Sierra found us our dream venue within 2 days!!! (Chateau des Fleur)
I found it amazingly helpful that she had a contact for everything little and big and she helped guide us in the right direction when we were feeling indecisive. She gave her professional opinion and also gave us options so that we still felt like we were playing a role in how our wedding was coming together.
All of her time, hard work, attention to detail and dedication to our wedding made us feel special and like we weren't just another number in her books. Little bird events was very affordable as well and Sierra was worth every penny! -

Sierra offered a balance of "getting-it-done" energy, information and advice, and making our vision a reality. I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Sierra!!! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect from top to bottom, thanks to her! From the beginning of the planning process, to crunch time, to the actual day-of, Sierra was a lifesaver, a shoulder to cry on, a wise expert, and a highly organized planner. She has a fantastic eye for detail and deep institutional knowledge of the wedding industry. We got married in Sun Valley and Sierra was an excellent resource for selecting vendors, coordinating timelines, and making sure everything was perfect and beautiful. I cannot say enough great things about Sierra. She went far above and beyond anything we could have ever imagined for our wedding day. I had a very loose idea of what I wanted our wedding to look like. Sierra elevated our ideas and made them more beautiful than we could have ever wished for. I cannot recommend Little Bird Events more highly! We hired Sierra to plan our September wedding in six months and had a pretty tight budget. The end result was more than we had hoped for! It was beautiful and moving and exactly what we had envisioned, but without the stress weddings usually bring when you do it yourself. The best money we spent was on hiring Sierra, no question. Even my husband, who was skeptical at first, agreed. She was professional and patient and listened to what we wanted, even when we weren’t sure! Her connections and wealth of experience meant she had ideas to suggest when we were stuck and she remembered what we would have never realized we should be doing! Loved the whole experience. -

Sierra was heaven-sent. I originally resisted the idea of a Wedding Planner.
“ We’re just doing a small ceremony. We can handle it ourselves.” I didn’t know what I didn’t know. Sierra took care of so many details that our wedding did, almost, seem easy. She’s fiercely loyal to her clients and isn’t afraid to go toe-to-toe with vendors to ensure the best possible service. Her experience and respect for the sanctity of the marriage ceremony guaranteed our wedding service could be original and off-beat, yet maintain a grace and dignity it might otherwise have lacked. Our ceremony turned out to be absolutely EVERYTHING we hoped for. I credit Sierra for her guidance and we’re both eternally grateful she was with us. -

Sierra was INCREDIBLE! We originally reached out to Sierra to support day-of coordination...but we quickly realized what an absolute gem she was and had her support full coordination! She planned everything - all of the little details. The entire time I felt very involved but not overwhelmed. She always reminded me "My job is to make your day as easy as possible for you." We had a late May wedding...and of course it rained on our wedding day!! (Good luck, right??) Sierra handled everything flawlessly. I literally didn't have to lift a finger. She rearranged the entire wedding venue to accommodate a tent to fit 250 people - and when I showed up, it was even more perfect than what we had originally planned. I cannot say enough about Sierra and her talents. She brings to life your vision, and adds so many special touches to really make your day shine. -

Dream Day: Achieved!
Planning a wedding by ourselves was not something my husband and I were prepared for; there were so many details we didn’t even know existed and we needed someone with a passion for planning to help us. Enter Sierra – the most personable and kind event planner we could have met!
Sierra’s professionalism and expertise blended perfectly with our laid-back style as she helped us create the most magical boho wedding.
Sierra met and communicated with us regularly leading up to our big day, and with a month left until our “I-Do’s”, she took over so I wouldn’t have to lift a finger – from checking in with our vendors, to helping us curate a timeline for a perfect night. Her creative touch shines as she uses her resourcefulness to incorporate aspects from the venue, nature, and the couple’s vision.
The most important thing to Sierra is her clients and their vision. She is a talented planner who will use all of her networking skills to create a real-life version of your dream day. Christian and I cannot recommend her enough. -

Seamless Wedding Day
We just had the most incredible wedding, all thanks to the wonderful Sierra! From the beginning to the end, Sierra made our big day flow so smoothly and effortlessly. It was like magic!
What stood out the most was Sierra's incredible organization skills. She had everything under control, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The transitions from the ceremony to the reception were flawless, and we could just soak in every moment without any stress.
Sierra's connections in the wedding world are top-notch. Thanks to her, we got connected with the best vendors who made our day even more special. It's clear she has some fantastic friends in the industry!
We were on a budget, and Sierra was a superhero in making everything work within our financial limits. She got creative and came up with solutions that didn't sacrifice the quality we wanted. We felt like she was truly on our team, and it meant the world to us.
Communicating with Sierra was a breeze. She's not just a pro at her job; she's also super friendly and easy to talk to. We felt comfortable sharing our ideas and concerns, and she was always there to listen and offer advice. It made the whole process a joy.

So… we wanted to hire a wedding planner to ease the stress and make our special day that much more wonderful. However, our experience with Sierra was quite the opposite I quote her words “ your wedding is unorthodox.” Sorry, but what exactly is that in 2022? And mind you it had to do with a personal preference with my(our) kids being a big part of it.
Let’s back up.. I was originally going to book Sierra very end of July 2021/ August 2021 well personal issues developed and I didn’t sign the proposed contract- 10% of our $30,000 budget. So $3,000.. which was not bad for all the things “covered” .. well like I said, hands were tied I didn’t sign it.
January 2022 I reached out and she said she was available but her assistant would be catering to us for an extra $1500. We signed the contract and moved forward after reassurance this was not too much and she was more than willing and able to assist us for FULL SERVICE. The assistant and her parted ways shortly after and everything went to shit. We had half the list completed prior to even signing what she entails she “covers” in her contract. So it was MUCH easier on her part. So you would think?!
Unfortunately, we got last minute service fee/cost for double the price. She is condescending, rude and unprofessional when it comes to what you want or prefer to make your dreams come true. Im more than aware this is a team aspect and was absolutely willing to listen and put my trust into her.. however, that wasn’t the same respect we received. Paying vendors day prior and day of because that wasn’t complete and then receiving our budget 2 days after we said “I do.” HAHA WHY EVEN BOTHER AT THAT POINT?! Checks are signed and the day is done. Very argumentative over the simplest of things. When you could spell it out and still have an issue with it. Contract entails full service set up and take down.. however we had to pay an additional $600 for the venue to hire help to do so. Apparently.. fold up chairs are large furniture items because she has hurt herself in the past. (Would have been nice to know) She scheduled our photographers 2 hours later than makeup and hair arrived, so on my wedding day I was bride and photographer to get those pictures we all dream about. This was even after sending us a bill on their behalf she didn’t add enough time for the timeline SHE wrote up. We received the timeline the day prior so all family had no recollection to show up early. Vendors and pastor said she was bossy, rude and liked the power. I suggest save your money. Don’t support someone who thinks your dream day is unorthodox. Not kid friendly WHATSOEVER and complicates the hell out of anything you suggest. Please don’t make the same mistake we did. Plenty of other planners who will make your special day AMAZING AND NOT try to apologize 10 minutes before you walk down the isle. Im very disappointed and 1 star was the lowest I could go since I wanted to review her services. I truly believe she forgets this is a customer service position that she is hired for. Not the other way around. Cherry on top was the evening of our wedding. She went to friends and family and personally filled them in and made a good majority aware of the problems between us/ trash talked us to our guests. After a handful of friends asked about it I was shocked. Finally, as the nights wrapping up has the audacity to ask them to help move tables for her. They approached us asking if they didn’t help if we would be stuck doing it? I let them know that no we wouldn’t be and that they are not required to help either. They ended up leaving right after and she suckered his family into doing it as we were leaving shortly after. Favorite part of marrying my best friend and love of my life.. is all contact with her is OVER. Kidding but I really am relieved. 😉 Best of luck!! ❤️
