A Wonderful Fall Ceremony

October 8, 2025 was a beautiful fall evening even though it was on the warm side. The sun was shining and the atmosphere was perfect for a small wedding. Lisa was phenomenal as an officiant for our elopement ceremony. We wanted a Baha’i service with the civil ceremony, and Lisa did not disappoint. She delivered the ceremony with gentleness, made it perfect for us, and included the prayers and song we wanted. This is our 2nd marriage so we wanted it to be special.
Thank you Lisa! You eased our concerns and made the evening so much more special for us to remember! I recommend Lisa to any couple, to coordinate whatever ceremony they dream of having and I will have Lisa coordinate any event in the future we may have!

Hurricanes can't stop Lisa!!

Lisa Presnell is the gal you want in your corner on your wedding day. She made it clear from day one that she would make our wedding what we wanted, and she did not disappoint. We cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a wedding planner. Our wedding happened to be the weekend Ian decided to hit, and as you can imagine, it was a bit chaotic, but Lisa jumped to the rescue and reconstructed our wedding in a day. She called all our vendors in a matter of hours to change plans and made it happen. It was so beautiful and perfect, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her services. Aisleplanner made it super easy to stay in touch with each other and keep everything organized. Thank you Lisa for not only keeping us sane throughout the process, but also making our wedding everything we could have imagined and more!

Thank you for a WONDERFUL experience!

Lisa and her team were fantastic! She helped make our wedding day so incredibly special! She was able to accommodate every request we had, quick to respond, professional, and affordable! We did not worry about anything-- as we knew Lisa and her team had it covered! Our wedding pictures were absolutely beautiful! Lisa's son was the photographer and he managed to make it look like we rented out a private beach (even though it was a public spot) not one of our pictures had anyone "extra" in them! We would defiantly recommend Lisa for anyone looking for a one stop shop!

Perfect Planner for the Best. Day. Ever

Simply put: Lisa is amazing. Her help in planning my wedding and coordinating the day of was invaluable. I wanted a perfect wedding but had no idea how to get to that point. Her knowledge, patience, and calm throughout the entire process - from beginning to end (let’s not fail to mention we had a couple surprise visitors from the 501st Legion, Florida Garrison, Squad 7 on the day of) allowed me to have the wedding of my dreams.

Married in a Pandemic

My husband and I found Lisa last second right as everything was being closed down. We were ready to elope on Amelia Island, and Lisa stepped in and made everything work only three days in advance. She provided us with her amazing son as photographer, Robert Max. We were set to get married on the beach, but they ordered them closed one hour before our ceremony. She called in a favor with a beautiful bed and breakfast (Williams House), and we were instead wed in their yard! She moved so quickly to make our day special, and performed our ceremony from 10+ feet away. I hope I have the chance to give her a huge hug someday after COVID has passed. Thank you Lisa!

Amazing Planner!

Not enough can be said on how great Lisa is! As a fellow vendor and contacting her by phone and email, I know how she is always on top of all the details and even goes the extra mile .

Throughout the years, our employees have always relayed her skills as a planner and being able to finally see that in person this past weekend fully assures me that we do not ever have to worry about any future events where we work together.

Worth every penny

Lisa was a joy to work with in planning our destination wedding. She was very organized and personable and thought of details I had forgotten about. She worked with my husband and I and helped make our vision come to life. The day of the wedding, we didn't have to do anything except enjoy the experience. She even came through when a bridesmaid broke a nail. Within 30 minutes, I had clear nail polish delivered to my hotel suite. We will definitely work with Lisa on events in the future.

Our Storybook Wedding!

Words can't describe what a wonderful job Lisa did for us. I was a bride that had a vision and my hands in every detail of our wedding. Lisa guided me every step of the way and made all my visions come to life. She knew and worked with the perfect vendors and pulled off our dream day. She was very professional, organized, and responsive when I needed her, but also knew when to step back and let me be a demanding bride....lol. She made everything we wanted possible. Wonderful Wedding Experience!

Working with Lisa was absolutely fabulous! When I started to feel overwhelmed in the weeks leading up to my wedding, she took charge and put me at ease. She was also very knowledgeable about vendors. Lisa helped my mother and I pull off my wedding in the searing July heat on Amelia Island. Lisa provided excellent references to vendors, introduced us to an amazing caterer (Thanks Patrick!) and pulled the whole day together. Lisa coordinated all of the pieces and made sure my mother and I needed for nothing on the day. I was blown away with what she did to make our rented beach house a perfect spot for my reception. I am so grateful for Lisa's support and participation in making my wedding day seamless and fabulous. Thank you Lisa!!!

Woodland Fairytale

Where do I start?! Lisa was a real-life lifesaver! My year long guide. A patient planner despite my many changes of mind. Changes that were just a few months out from the wedding. Lisa was my day of hero. When John proposed on Nov. 12, 2017, the first task I set out to accomplish was finding a wedding planner. That night I posted to our local social media network and Lisa Presnell was overwhelming recommended over and over. It was the best decision aside from marring my husband, I could have made. Lisa’s first move was securing my choice of venue and a date. Lisa’s connections and friendships bring about endless opportunities for vendors and she is with you every step of the journey. From recommendations based on your vision, to tastings, wedding dress decisions, mani’s and pedi’s over mimosas before the big day and filling in maid of honor duties when two of yours can’t make it last minute. Btw, Lisa is queen of bustling a dress up. Lisa executed the timing of all vendors and communicated with everyone, so I had minimal contact most of the time even making payments for me, just what I preferred. And did I mention Lisa coordinated with the other vendors to knock my vision out the park for a Woodland Fairytale Wedding with the ceremony and reception décor. There isn’t a hat Lisa doesn’t wear well. John and I were married December 16th, 2018. To say I had it all together would be a lie, but Lisa made it look like we did. She worked her magic and made sure every detail was taken care of. My family was not able to participate in all the little details and Lisa filled all the places necessary to ensure I had nothing to worry about before or after our special day. I can’t recommend Lisa enough. Lisa is now someone I consider a friend. She has a heart of gold and gives it her all. She truly cares about her clients and the meaning of your wedding day.

Walker’s Landing Day of Coordinator

We worked with Lisa in the last month of wedding planning to tie up loose ends, finalize decisions with vendors and handle everything day of for our wedding at Walker’s Landing in Amelia Island.

Lisa reviewed everything I had planned up to that point and helped guide my final decisions and make recommendations for tweaks to things like our rentals contract. There were things she caught that absolutely were crucial!

On the wedding day, she was fantastic and made everything go SO smoothly. Before, so many people told us their weddings went by so quickly that they didn’t get to enjoy it. Lisa paced everything so well and made sure we got to enjoy our cocktail hour, dinner, and small moments in between.

She also truly saved the day, because a rainstorm passed through right at the ceremony start time. She jumped into action and pulled all guests into the reception hall to wait it out, and once it passed even had the DJ quickly jump into action to play beautiful ceremony music when the string musicians could not play because of the rain.

She turned a day from disaster to spectacular and we could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding.

Perfect wedding day!

I don't even know how to describe Lisa Presnell but I will try.....Shes an amazing woman with so much talent in so many areas she is a one stop shop!!

My husband and I eloped to South Dakota, we had never been and wanted a unique event outdoors with nature and a Native American theme. Lisa Presnell not only went with us on our adventure, she took the reins and found a gorgeous setting by Sylvan Lake in the Blackhills Natl Forest, found a unique honeymoon suite at the Hotel Alex Johnson, handmade our gorgeous real feather bouquet, suggested a wedding unity vase w/ authentic tribal vows, found us a fantastic wedding photographer and made our entire elopement/wedding/honeymoon an amazing event. Her expertise in every aspect of our wonderful wedding made it all smooth and relaxing and I highly recommend her services. We had a fantastic trip full of many laughs, many happy tears and so many wonderful photos to relive it all. Thank you Lisa Presnell, you are the bomb!!!

Beautiful Wedding Fort Clinch

My daughter Kaleigh got engaged when her longtime boyfriend of 4 years graduated from the Navy. We only have a short amount of time literally 4 days before he departed. Lisa was absolutely amazing and flexible on the when and the where. The wedding was at Fort Clinch and it was absolutely breathtaking in every way. Lisa did a fantastic job and I would recommend her services to everyone looking for someone that puts her heart and soul into your forever moment.

Wonderful to work with.

I am so thankful I called Lisa to help with our wedding. My husband I were to get married at sunset on the beach in April. A cold front blew in with rain and lightning last minute, it was apparent we were not going to be getting married that evening. I was upset at the change of events. Lisa showed such compassion and within a few minutes she suggested we get married the next morning at sunrise. As the sun rose my husband Chase and I said “I do”with my horse and family in some very crisp cool air. A dream come true!! Thank you Lisa for being flexible and fantastic!!! Highly recommend.

Lisa planned and coordinated our daughter’s beautiful Fernandina Beach wedding this past February. This event was extra challenging because it was held outdoors in our property, thus Lisa had to manage creating the space from the ground up! It was magical! Actually a 2 night affair, music ,food ,rentals, parking , wine , servers, DJ, fairy lights, catering , CAKE!, and best of all the flowers, And hair and make up- we went with Lisa’s suggestion for every vendor and we were overwhelmed with the result. She really puts her heart into her business and has a passion for pleasing her brides and clients. We are absolutely blessed to have her experienced and expert guidance for our event. I would highly recommend Lisa Presnell for planning any event, she made it so very special and unique.

We were very pleased with everything that Lisa Presnell did for our wedding. Everything was PERFECT, including the weather! As ours was a destination wedding, we were at a loss as to local vendors and talent, Lisa has tremendous insight and offered valuable advice. We cannot express our gratitude for everything Lisa did to make our wedding magical, not only for us, but also for our entire wedding party ~ all nine of us!

The unexpected military delay could’ve been a disaster but she and her team at The Amelia Island William’s House and Current Moments Photography handled it with such professional grace that we were able to keep our Marine, Dakoda, calm and keep the wedding flexible. Ultimately, it made all the difference and allowed Sandy to be given away by both her boys in the absence of her father; there are no words. Especially since we brought the ceremony to Amelia Island specifically for Dakoda to witness and take part in!

Fortunately, that proved to be the only glitch and because of how you all handled it, our wedding weekend was the absolute best weekend of our lives!

Lisa was SO helpful - I don't live full-time in Amelia and she was a huge source of peace and calm to me in finalizing the details of our little wedding. Lisa was an absolute God send. We wanted a small ceremony for our families but I am not the "decorating/wedding" type. I had a friend use Lisa in the past so I sent her an email and we immediately had everything planned out and I didn't have to do a thing. Everything was beautiful & turned out perfect. It was exactly what I wanted. Something beautiful, on the beach, that I got to just show up to and not stress about. I would definately go this route if we had to do it all over again.

Lisa is the first contact you need to make when you start planning your wedding. Tell her exactly what you want and she will take it from there. I highly recommend her. Lisa was an excellent person to work with for our wedding. Living out of town, she was a lifesaver for help getting flowers, cake, and photographer. Her website helped detail the process for obtaining the license and she guided us through that process making it easy to complete. If you are in the military family!! I absolutely recommend Lisa. We needed this wedding planned in 8 weeks and Lisa figured everything out from the photographer, to the day of nail appointments, to the littlest details to make our wedding unforgettable. Coastal Engagements did a wonderful job helping us with our destination wedding. Lisa was very well organized and provided great information from her website. Lisa Presnell officiated my wedding on 11/23/2015 and I must honestly say that she was a God-send. My husband are very busy in our professional lives and were eager to get married, so we decided to elope on the beautiful beach of Amelia Island the weekend before Thanksgiving. There was a little confusion with my original officiant about which island my husband and I were planning our ceremony, so at the VERY last minute I was forced to find a new officiant. After countless emails, and phone calls, frantic and extremely stressed out, Lisa Presnell was the answer to my prayers. She quickly responded to my inquiry and even came and officiated the ceremony on her day off. I will Never forget her self-less act of kindness. The ceremony was perfect, and even though I had only spoken with her for a brief period, it was like I had known her years. This definitely allowed for our special day to be even more meaningful. My husband and I eloped in Amelia Island. We found Lisa through an internet search, and couldn’t be happier that we did! She was very helpful and understanding from start to finish. She thought of everything. Her packages are tailored to any budget and she takes care of everything. That was such a relief knowing that we are in good hands with Lisa because we live in North Carolina and it would be hard to plan a long distance ceremony otherwise. Lisa was professional, has great resources for vendors, was able to calm my nerves about the weather and pull off the perfect beach elopement that I dreamed of.

I highly recommend going with Lisa and Coastal Engagements if you are planning to get married in Amelia Island. With her, you don’t have to worry about coordinating and planning. She takes care of everything and her rates are very affordable. We were extremely pleased with how everything turned out, from the photographer she chose for us, to the bakery for our cake was exceptional, the brunch location terrific, and she coordinated a horse and carriage ride for us. The bouquet she created for me was stunning. She even had an option for custom vows to include our kids in a blended family ceremony.

Without a doubt the best choice you can make for a perfect wedding day is to hire Lisa. We are so thankful and grateful that we did. She takes the stress away from wedding planning by taking charge of all the details. We had our perfect wedding and couldn’t be happier!

Lisa did an excellent job as the officiant of our wedding. We decided to elope and get married at the Williams House at Amelia Island. Lisa contacted us beforehand to find out how we wanted personalize our wedding, gave us sample vows and then incorporated the changes we wanted. She sent us information on how to get the marriage license, etc. She was very accommodating and personable. She followed up afterwards and filed the paperwork for us at the courthouse. We would highly recommend her for any wedding.

Planning a small destination wedding? Call Lisa!

Based on reviews and recommendations from the Amelia Island community, we contacted Lisa to help us plan a smaller destination wedding (30 people all together) in Amelia Island. Living in the Northeast and knowing nothing about planning a wedding, Lisa filled in all the gaps and helped us create our perfect day.

She came up with alternative plans after our first venue choice was no longer available and we were not completely satisfied with the packages offered at the two major resorts on the Island. Lisa helped us secure a discounted room rate, create a backup plan in case it rained, and made excellent recommendations for other vendors for photography, hair, transportation, flowers, etc. Lisa also married us on a very hot day in June and the ceremony was beautiful.

If you are planning a wedding in Amelia Island, you will not regret hiring Lisa.

If you are on the fence about whether you need a wedding planner, you probably do :) Lisa thought of things that we could never anticipate. Were they really important details? No, but they made our day smoother and less stressful. What more could you want?!?! Call Lisa!

I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Lisa Presnell. She was there to help navigate me through all the nuances of wedding planning and really helped to keep me on track with my timeline. Working with Lisa has been a real pleasure, I hired her from the beginning of planning my wedding to be there for me throughout the whole process and the day of. She really knows her stuff about planning a wedding and what vendors to work with and how to stay in budget as best as possible. Finding Lisa and Coastal Engagements made our wedding dreams come true! We planned an Amelia Island elopement long distance from Ohio to Florida and our expectations were exceeded!! Lisa was very helpful lining up the details and helping me to get everything perfect. She is a wealth of knowledge and has years of experience to back it up. Lisa was exactly what my daughter needed as a planner. The best thing was that Lisa was able to secure Walkers Landing for the wedding venue. For this we are forever grateful. This wedding was planned from across another state and she was able to help secure everything we needed and then some. She kept everything moving in the right direction. She kept us updated throughout the wedding on what we needed to do, what to expect next, who we had to pay, etc. Our caterer was very rude and unaccommodating, but Lisa handled that with grace and professionalism. Lisa was amazing and made our wedding experience so much less stressful for the bride and family. She did a beautiful job decorating our venue as we were unable to do so in advance. She steered us to high quality vendors with whom she obviously had strong professional relationships. We had a very intimate beach wedding. Although it was unseasonably cold it was very beautiful and memorable. Lisa was very helpful, she did it all, from finding a location, officiating to filing the marriage license. I would recommend her to any of my friends getting married in the future.

Words cannot adequately describe how easy and stress free our experience was in hiring Coastal Engagements by Lisa Presnell for the coordination of our wedding on Amelia Island. We are equally impressed with her son, Robby, who provided photography services. We found him to be professional, creative, and talented and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the pictures at this time. Costal Engagements by Lisa Presnell was beyond our expectations for our wedding. My husband and I were planning our wedding from Charleston, SC and Lisa made our planning such a breeze. She was always available to speak with and was so quick to return emails. She took all the worry and stress out of our planning and made our experience wonderful. Lisa's son was our wedding photographer and the photographs were beyond beautiful. Lisa Presnell is the event planner with THE GOLF CUB OF AMELIA ISLAND (see review below). She provided day of planning as well. Lisa kept us all on schedule and provided great support. I cannot say enough good things about her...she's terrific and has a wealth of knowledge.

On very short notice, Lisa Presnell helped us put together a beautiful ceremony. It was completely personalized, but she gave us many examples to get started. It could not have gone more beautifully. Guests asked for print out of several sections (readings / poem) that we used.

We planned a very small (20 guests) destination wedding in Fernandina Beach, and did not feel that we needed the extensive services sought by most couples. So, we selected Lisa's "Just Advice" package. Her suggestions for ceremony site and hair/makeup services were useful and definitely saved us time. It was also a convenience when it came to order chairs for the beach. It seems like she has extensive connections and capabilities well beyond our small needs.

Lisa made our day perfect. She provided wonderful guidance on venues and ideas for the ceremony, vows and our wedding cake. She was responsive to all questions no matter how small.

We used one of the elopement packages that Lisa offers. Lisa's services were perfect and left me feeling very stress-free on the wedding day. We conducted everything over e-mail, and she was extremely responsive. Everything went very smooth, and we are very happy with the outcome!

Outstanding! Highly recommend! She blew us away with her organization, her impeccable timing and her professionalism! I am beyond pleased. She nailed it! She had a very difficult venue to manage ( Jacksonville Zoo) . She made this whole wedding planning thing painless for us. She managed everything perfectly. With her support there was no stress at all with the wedding preparations. I was actually able to sit back and enjoy being the mother of the bride. The best thing about Lisa was that she was there for us early in the wedding planning process and suggested ways for us to save money, and suggested ways to enhance the experience for our guests!

Lisa is what I would call a "value-added" wedding planner. You know up front, what kind of services you will be getting with Lisa, but it's the last minute details of a wedding (that you never see coming) where Lisa steps in to "Save the Day"! Her calm manner and ability to solve most, if not all, issues that come along is invaluable. She is very knowledgeable about resources that are available to put on a great event. I highly recommend Lisa to anyone who wants a stress-free affair!

Wedding Coordinator

Lisa was very professional and flexible with my wedding planning experience. At the very beginning it was difficult to get in touch. I never met her because I didn’t have to with how thorough she was. The day before the wedding she brought to my attention that there wasn’t a back up plan (for if terrible weather came up) and I would need to sort that out myself which was stressful. Aside from that I definitely had the best time planning my wedding day through her and everything was so beautiful in the end. We really only used her services for renting the arbor, the sand mixing vase, chairs and the photographer. I brought all the flowers and gave everyone directions/ where to be at what time.

Lisa is absolutely the best. From giving "unofficial" counseling to pinning my boutonniere, acting as officiant and coordinating an excellent and personable photographer, she did all and more that was asked. The caterer she recommended was excellent, and the cake...wow....absolutely gorgeous and delicious. You can't go wrong with Lisa!

My husband and I had a large wedding planned and decided to elope instead due to all the stress it was causing us. We wanted a simple, stress-free beach wedding, but we live no where near the beach! So we did a destination elopement. When I called Lisa, I got exactly what I asked for...and more. Lisa took all the stress out of planning. She took care of all the details and our wedding ended up being nothing short of perfect. She uses excellent vendors (my absolute favorite being the photographer - Robbie - of Robert Max Photographer...amazing) and is very kind and approachable. I couldn't be happier with our decision and I'm thrilled Lisa was recommended to us. I'd tell anyone looking for a wedding planner in the Jacksonville area to call Lisa first!

The day was beautiful

The event was lovely and turned out as we dreamed it would. We did almost all of the work ourselves going in to it so we were relatively certain things would go well. The chair set up was lovely and the photography was adequate though it felt rushed and contained less shots than we would have liked. (Such as numerous pictures of the props but almost no pictures of the guests during or the congratulations after). I would recommend to anyone looking for a wedding planner but I would encourage to be exceptionally specific with your desires. Thank you

The cake was cool and the officiant did her job but the photographer “ her son” was unprofessional, not customer service friendly and unfortunately the end result was poor and disappointing. This was supposed to be a forever captured moment and we are truly saddened with his poor results. We will never have this opportunity again and he captured nothing of value other then his pic of our rings. I️ highly suggest you avoid this duo as we were not made aware the photographer was family Until he said mom! Very
