Lisa is the best.
Lisa Marie is the absolute BEST. First of all, her pictures are amazing- romantic, light and airy. She has such a great vision and is great at giving suggestions for poses while making everything feel natural and authentic to you. She made our wedding day so enjoyable with her kind demeanor and was very organized but flexible. I would recommend Lisa Marie for any occasion- she's the best in her field and a joy to work with. -

We cannot recommend Lisa enough! Our photographs are absolutely incredible. She is extremely professional, while keeping everything relaxed and fun. From the beginning she was easy to work with and made the whole planning process that much easier. She always responded to our inquiries quickly, whether it was hopping on a phone call or responding to an email. On our wedding day, she seamlessly was everywhere she need to be and captured all of the important moments, without us even noticing. When it came time for posed pictures, she was great at guiding us through where to stand, how to pose and had many creative and fun ideas. Lisa worked seamlessly with our videographer and wedding planner so we didn't have to get involved with logistics for the day.
You should definitely be considering Lisa for your big day! Or any special moment in your life! -

Couldn’t have better captured the day!
Lisa is so incredible at what she does. The entire experience was so enjoyable and fun, and the pictures turned out better than we could have imagined. She was so pleasant to work with on our special engagement day and we decided to also schedule a session the day after at a different location. Lisa is extremely professional and truly has the vision for each of her shots. She was very responsive for any questions or needs and helped us decide on certain locations, as well as all the small logistic details. Overall, we are so happy with the pictures that we’ll have and cherish for a lifetime. We are already in touch about having Lisa as part of our wedding day! -

Lisa is just absolutely amazing. We had engagement pictures done with her in telluride and I was sooo nervous. She instantly made us both feel at ease and really helped us relax. On top of that she got excellent shots. And not only a couple pics that were amazing but pretty much every picture she took was just stunning. We got our photos in two days and are having the hardest time deciding which are our favorites because there are just too many!!!! Don’t hesitate. Book her now!!!! -

Amazing experience
Nothing but great things to say about Lisa and her work! My fiancé and I wanted to do our engagement pictures in telluride and found Lisa through her Instagram page. She was very responsive from the start and always answered all my questions promptly. It was our first professional shoot together as a couple and from the moment we met her she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera! To top it off she got us all of our photos back within 2 days! 100% recommend her! -

I found Lisa on Instagram and immediately asked her if she would do an engagement shoot, as I was planning on proposing to my (now) fiancé during a family trip to telluride (from Austin,TX). She was just as excited as I was and helped me come up with some awesome ideas on where to propose and have a photoshoot. I decided to have our photos taken along the san miguel river trail with the ajax peak as our backdrop. Lisa killed it! And we had a great time doing the shoot, even during a 9 degree frigid morning! We popped champagne and brought out the whole family for group pictures at the end. Lisa knew all the poses and was very good at directing us. The pictures turned out perfect and it was such a fun experience. The whole family was smiling at their phones when Lisa sent us the finished pictures! Thank you Lisa for being one of the highlights of our Telluride trip! -

Telluride Elopement
Lisa was absolutely AMAZING! She captured everything we wanted, and more, during our elopement in Telluride. She was attentive and willing to incorporate items we brought along (elopement sign, popping champagne, etc.). She suggested great locations since we weren’t from the area, and her turn around time is great. We were able to share with friends and family very quickly! Thank you again so much!! -

Not even exaggerating, we would give this woman 100 stars if we could. We will ALWAYS recommend Lisa to anyone with ZERO reservations. Finding her was one of the greatest, unexpected blessings we experienced in our journey to tie the knot.
We knew we wanted to get married in Colorado because it is the only Western state where self-solemnizing (marrying yourselves - no officiant needed) is considered a valid and legal ceremony. We wanted a simple, intimate ceremony filled with love and above all...commitment. Searching for a photographer for your wedding is obviously kind of a stressful deal, especially if you're looking in an entirely different state.
We had no experience at all and my fiancee and I are notoriously awkward in front of the camera. We've been together for nearly a decade and were never professionally photographed before our wedding day...but we were eloping and the ONLY way our families would accept the arrangement is if we got LOTS of pictures. I sifted through so many photographer's websites I thought I would go crazy. It turns out many don't really believe in a short, simple session for an elopement. Many are only interested in a 4+ hour ordeal that will cost an arm and a leg. Like I said, we're not picture people. I knew without a doubt that my fiancé (and our yellow lab!) would NOT do well with several hours of posing. I was starting to lose hope in finding the right person until I stumbled across Lisa's website.
We loved her photos right away and thought all of the recommendations she provided for free for vendors in Telluride was so sweet. Many people believe you should have to pay for a treasure trove of information like that, but we quickly learned that wasn't the case with Lisa. With very loose plans and a half-baked plan, we reached out through her website. She was excited for us and willing to do a 2 hour session on very short notice. We immediately found her to be incredibly kind, attentive, thoughtful, and so responsive from the moment we reached out. I kept it simple, asking only for a pretty place to elope around sunset somewhere not too far outside Telluride. She instantly offered a date and time, then recommended Last Dollar Rd - a 2 lane country road above the airport in Telluride that offers drop dead gorgeous mountain views. I instantly felt reassured because she clearly seemed to have a more solid plan than I could come up with, especially considering we wouldn't even MEET Lisa until half an hour before we said our vows. Yah, you read that right. We're Oregonians who were so ready to run away to get married, we jumped in our truck and drove 1,100 miles to Telluride with our yellow lab, Hesston, only about 2 weeks after booking with Lisa through her website. Luckily for us, Lisa is the special kind of person that makes everyone feel instantly comfortable in front of the camera. Within minutes, she felt more like a friend than a stranger. By the end of our session, we knew she would always have a special place in our hearts. We cannot imagine our day without her kind, calming presence, down-to-earth attitude, and eye for beauty. She had us laughing from the start and put us at ease throughout our two hour session. She directed our poses in a way that was easy to understand and follow. I know there are a lot of instagram models out there these days, but that is SO not us...we needed all the help we could get. She gently guided us, but also let our own genuine feelings and love shine through in every image. She took our ideas, added in her own, and produced a gallery that is a treasure to us. Our wedding photos exceeded our expectations in EVERY way possible.
Oh...AND SHE GOT THEM BACK TO US IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS!
Lisa is a true gem and an absolute asset to Colorado. End your search now and just book with her. Seriously. It was the BEST decision I made in planning my wedding!

Lisa was an absolute joy to work with! She was our photographer this past fall for our wedding and it was a dream - planning a wedding during the pandemic was a bit chaotic, but Lisa made this portion of the planning process super easy. During the session, Lisa makes you feel very comfortable and really works with you to make it your dream come true - her photos are absolutely incredible. She really is such a delight and anyone would be lucky to get the opportunity to work with her. Also, the response rate is 10/10 - we had our photos within a week! Highly recommend Lisa for any of your events/photos :) -

Soup to nuts Lisa was an A+ pro all the way. My original photographer backed out at the beginning of the pandemic, and Lisa was recommended to me by my local wedding planner. I liked her IG and all the reviews I read, and I thought the price was right so we decided to give her a try.
Lisa did our engagement photos 2 days before our wedding, and that session made us comfortable with being in front of the camera with her. She was a clear and concise director, and I think brought the best out of both of us. The turnaround for the photos was also very quick! The photos were easy to access and she was very responsive if we had any questions.
The day of the wedding I only had one regret - that I didn't book her to stay longer! She was such a great guide for the moments leading up to the wedding, and she captured so many wonderful details.
She is a joy to work with and we look forward to booking her again! -

I highly recommend Lisa Marie for a wedding photographer. She has a professional, friendly and had a personable approach and made all of us feel very comfortable. She was on time, kept us all on schedule and made sure we were capturing the important moments on film. She is very familiar with Telluride and mountain photography which was why we felt so comfortable in her skills and ideas. At the end of the wedding my husband and I both commented to each other how much we liked Lisa and her assistant.
The next day after the wedding Lisa sent us some amazing pictures that we used to text family and post on social media. She then was quick to give us all the photos to look at and mailed out our USB with everything very quickly.
We are now designing our wedding photo album and she is helping with this as well.
We are 100% satisfied and if anyone is questioning who they should have photograph their wedding, you should just go with Lisa Marie!

Lisa is an incredible talent and a joy to work with! My fiancé and I aren't super comfortable in front of the camera (and frankly not that photogenic) but Lisa made it easy for us to laugh and have fun and our photos turned out absolutely stunning. Watching the finished photos roll in after our wedding has been such a joy, it's like reliving it over and over again. Which brings me to another high point, we received our photos VERY quickly! I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone who asks.
From the groom - As with most men, photos aren't exactly at the top of my priority list. What was important to me was that we got a few good pics and didn't spend hours and hours and hours taking photos. Lisa nailed it - we got way, way more than a "few" good pics, and she was incredibly efficient, making the whole process feel effortless. Lots of amazing pictures, and it didn't take forever. That checked all my boxes - thanks Lisa! -

Not only is Lisa Marie a consummate professional, but she is an incredible talent behind the camera. She was warm, friendly, and an absolute joy to work with - it felt like she was a part of our family. She helped us pick the perfect spot for our elopement ceremony and created beautiful dramatic photo setups for our after ceremony photos. She helped make us all feel at ease in front of the camera and that came through in her pictures. Her final photographs of our wedding day went beyond our wildest expectations. Where do I begin?! Lisa was incredible from the get go! Both my husband and I are from coastal towns but picked beautiful Telluride as our wedding spot since we both love the mountains. Not being locals to Colorado, we were heavily dependent the input from vendors in Telluride for ideas and suggestions. Lisa was helpful with all of it and so attentive to even the smaller details, like suggesting locations that would be easy enough for my elderly grandparents, or plan B options if it was raining. Things that, as a bride I didn’t think about it want to worry about!
Now for the big day, she showed up early to set up and do some test shots and she fit right in with my girlfriends and family as she shot photos of us getting ready together. It felt like another girlfriend was there, which made me feel all the more comfortable. All of our photos came out amazing! The lighting, our candid shots, she really captured the essence of what Ben & I were going for: nothing fancy, just a whole lot of love. Now comes the hard part, having to decide which pictures we want because they all came out so great!

Not to overgeneralize, but I have the suspicion that we men undervalue how important wedding photography is. Do not make this mistake!
The day goes by so fast, and all guests are either too busy enjoying the festivities to take their own photos, or are not knowing how to adjust lighting and composition on their phone cameras.
Lisa Marie Wright captured the festivities perfectly, from intimate shots with loved ones, to challenging shots where she had to ensure we were in focus while not detracting from the incredible background scenery, while also dealing with complicated “golden hour” shadows.
These are memories that were enshrined perfectly. -

My new husband and I were happy that we chose to hire Lisa as our wedding photographer. She worked with us from the beginning getting back to our requests promptly and working with our budget. We had some rain on our special day, but Lisa made sure to get us in the best locations while still keeping us dry. During our rain delay in the yurt at San Sophia, she didn't waste a moment. She was outside in the rain taking photos of the site, rings, and guests arriving. She was accommodating and flexible to our schedule and what we needed that day, always smiling and guiding our photos to get the right shot. Lisa had our photos to us starting the day after our wedding (a real treat!) and we had all of our photos within the week. Beautiful shots, professional quality, highly recommended! -

When my husband and I got engaged, we knew two things we wanted for the wedding:
1. Small intimate mountain ceremony
2. Amazing wedding photographs to cherish the memories.
With Lisa's help, we achieved the wedding of our dreams! Not enough positive things can be said about Lisa.
She made the pre-planning an absolute breeze. She is well-organized, returns emails promptly, and offers great suggestions for planning the wedding to achieve the most spectacular photographs. On the wedding day, she integrated well into our family, yet had a subtle presence. She was able to guide family members for group photos, without feeling overbearing. The photographs are amazing! She has a natural talent and captured many candid moments throughout the ceremony.
