Joanna and her Hair & Makeup Team were nothing short of phenomenal when it came to making my Bridesmaids, sister, and Mother/Mother-in-Law feel so beautiful on my Wedding Day. At my Hair & Makeup Trial, Joanna went out of her way to ensure that everything looked exactly the way I wanted it to and has been so friendly and helpful throughout our communications. A great find

I had Marissa as my hair and makeup artist and she was amazing! I will admit I was a little nervous after my trial, which I highly recommend doing as we needed it to work out some kinks in what I wanted, but then didn't know exactly what things would look like day of. Well my day of hair and makeup exceeded all expectations and lasted solidly all night despite lots of dancing and sweating. I am also a pale person who is hard to color match and can easily have makeup look heavy so I was very impressed. She also rolled with the punches when my bridesmaids were having a couple of issues and stayed very kind and professional.

Wedding Hair of my Dreams!

I hired Lipstick N Lashes for hair and makeup for myself, mothers, and bridesmaids for my wedding on 8/2/25. I had my trial back in April, and after sitting with it I knew that there were some changes that I wanted to make for my big day. Joanna was so easy to work with, made me feel comfortable enough to let her know what I wanted to change, and executed it perfectly on my wedding day. She gave me the hair and makeup of my dreams! It came out even more beautiful than I had imagined, and I could not have been happier. Everyone looked amazing! One of my bridesmaids unexpectedly brought extensions, and instead of making a fuss about it or making it awkward, she happily installed them and allowed me to quietly take care of it on the back-end, although I don’t even think she would have ever even mentioned it if I didn’t insist on compensating. I thought that was incredibly kind and professional. Her and her team are an absolute pleasure to work with; it’s one of those things you don’t really think about until you’re there but these are the people that you are spending your entire wedding morning with, so it’s important to choose a team that you are comfortable with and are going to make your wedding morning easy and fun, and for me and my bridesmaids it was just that! Wonderful team, incredibly talented artists, and a great experience from start to finish!

Incredible experience

Joanna and her team are FANTASTIC! First she is very responsive to your inquiry, she is thorough in her price description and where every dollar is being spent, she has you send her inspiration pictures ahead of time so her team is aware of what you are looking for. When her team arrived they were timely, sweet and got right to it. We were even able to take a break when we needed one. As for the actual hair and make up, the best I have ever gotten! Makeup stayed throughout the night and my low bun updo didnt budge, even with my veil. Note that it rained all day and my hair and makeup still looked incredible throughout the night!

Where do I even begin? Joanna from Lipstick N Lashes is an absolute gem! From the moment we met, I knew I was in the best hands. She’s that perfect mix of laid-back and professional—you instantly feel like you’re hanging out with a friend who also just happens to be a total hair and makeup wizard.

On the big day, she kept everything calm, fun, and stress-free (which is no small feat when there are bridesmaids, timelines, and nerves involved!). My hair and makeup stayed flawless all day long—through happy tears, hugs, and dancing the night away.

And the cherry on top? We bonded over our shared love of “Good Hearted Woman” by Waylon Jennings. I mean, come on... how cool is that?

Best service ever

My best friend just had a wedding and I was the maid of honor. I was the one who initially found this company and suggested it to her. I am so happy I did!!! Bethany was our hairdresser and she was so fun and sweet and made sure we all left happy and feeling like a queen. Great job to her and the 8 girls and the 1 guy she did in about 5.5 hours.

Perfect Glam Squad

I decided to hire Joanna after looking around on wedding wire and seeing great reviews about her and her team at Lipstick N Lashes. Joanna was very professional and provided a thorough contract, so I knew exactly what I was getting. We scheduled a trial and I told Joanna that I was really worried about my hair for my wedding day (short, thin, not super healthy). The trial completely eased my worries about my hair, and I was ecstatic about my makeup. Joanna was in contact periodically for planning purposes and was very responsive. Joanna and her team arrived promptly on my wedding day and got to work styling hair and makeup for the 12 of us. Her team was honest and communicative about what hairstyles and makeup looks would complement certain women. I found them to be friendly, calming, professional and fun. Beautifully Done

Joanna was amazing to work with. She was very accommodating with scheduling as I lived over an hour away. She did beautiful hairstyles for 20 girls and one groomsman and kept us ahead of schedule. She listened to what everyone wanted and delivered a beautiful product. Everyone's hair looked beautiful.

My Heavy Cathedral Veil Stayed in My Hair, Even Though I Wore it Down!

We loved working with Lipstick N Lashes, my bridal hair and my bridal party's hair all looked beautiful! She even put in a hair comb piece I brought with me day of. My Maid of Honor has thick hair that goes past her hips and wanted an up-due, and they were able to do that for her. She looked great! I've also got hair that goes to my hips, that is very fine and doesn't hold anything well. The team was able to back-brush my hair to make it thick enough on top to be able to hold my heavy, very long cathedral veil and my hair comb. I wanted to wear it down too, so they had virtually nothing to work with as far as veil placement and hold goes. It didn't look snarly, or top-heavy at all either! I can't even make scrunchies stay in and hold up my hair, it's that thin and flat, so I was really impressed! My hair held the curls all night, and wasn't crunchy to the touch at all, which made me very happy as well! I was really shocked when we got our wedding pictures back at how lively and bouncy my normally flat, frail hair looked! I took my cathedral veil out of my hair and put it back in 3 times throughout the day and night for the ceremony and pictures, and my hair never fell out. It was super windy during our outdoor ceremony. The wind swept my veil up into the air, which made it get caught on chairs, we had to pull it off the chairs while I was actively walking down the aisle, and my veil did not budge out of my hair. I was absolutely shocked at how well my hair held it in! P.S. To all of my LGBTQ+ couples out there, this is an LGBTQ+ friendly vendor! They were so friendly to my Wife and I. 5 stars, Highly recommend!!

Joanna is the best!

Joanna and team were incredible!! I was connected with Joanna through my cousin. I got married at the same venue as my cousin 9 years later and I remember how beautiful their hair and makeup looked so I asked who she used. My cousin was already recommending Joanna to me as I was asking. She's so amazing! From my first call with Joanna I felt comfortable and a sense of peace through the craziness of wedding planning. I met Joanna at her salon in ballston Spa for my hair and makeup trial and I loved it! She made sure I was comfortable and spoke through what we were going to do. I showed her pictures and she nailed it. She is so sweet and easy to talk to, I don't think we stopped talking until she handed me the mirror and I was speechless. The day of my wedding she showed up on time and ready to go. She and her team were so quick but didn't cut any corners. All my bridesmaids, MOB, and MOG looked stunning!!! I would recommend her to anyone getting married in upstate NY or the Adirondack region.

Great decision!

Where do I begin? I was booked with a different company and was so excited for my hair and makeup trial. When I left my appointment I was in tears. It was nothing like what I wanted. My vision was soft and romantic and I don’t even know what the look was that I got. To say I was stressed was an understatement. My wedding was in 6 months and with the Covid backups I was not confident I would find someone, let alone someone good and reputable. Out of desperation I looked on a wedding vendor Facebook group and I saw Lipstick N Lashes mentioned several times so I took a shot in the dark and they had availability for my date! They were so helpful and I booked them based off their photos and recommendations. They got me in for a trial for when I was going to be in the area and what a totally different experience! I was so happy that this time it was happy tears! Joanna was really so organized and on top of communication even through a really crazy busy time. Come my wedding day the ladies showed up on time and ready to work. Let me tell you, these ladies know their stuff! They had such a system for getting everyone done it allowed us an additional 30 minutes for some fun spontaneous photos! The hair and makeup came out gorgeous and everything lasted well into the night! I would, and have, highly recommend them for your wedding day hair and makeup!

Perfect Sagamore Wedding Hair & Makeup

Joanna and Mikayla did a fabulous job on my hair & makeup (bride), as well as 2 mother and 3 wedding party hair and makeup. At 2am, my Hollywood glam down hairstyle was STILL volume-ized, and my makeup looked flawless! They were both so calm and sweet, and really made my special day that much more special. Lipstick N Lashes: Wedding Makeup

I was so so happy with my wedding makeup from Lipstick N Lashes. They also provided the makeup for my best friend's wedding as well. I was in love with my makeup after my trial, and then unfortunately due to COVID, there was a last minute change, and my original makeup artist was no longer able to attend the wedding. Ainslee stepped in and I was blown away. She had never met me or seen my face, and I was in love with my makeup. She also did a phenomenal job for my MOHs, Mom, and flower girls. She is a joy to be around as well! She's friendly, calm, and a professional. Highly recommend

The supportive communicative makeup and hair artists of your dreams!

Joanna and team are phenomenal which isn't a word I use often but is well-deserved in this case. Joanna is extremely responsive throughout, from price request to wedding day. She quickly responds to texts, emails, and phone calls. She is extremely kind, personable and fun! AND she is very talented with your hair and makeup. She will listen and asks for many details for your wedding looks. She make any changes you wish. She even creates an adorable clutch full of goodies to keep you fresh your whole wedding day and even face mask and cleanser for the end of the night. This has been the only wedding I've been in that hair and makeup was done on time (and we had 11 people get services) AND my hair and makeup held up the whole wedding. Joanna and her team are so kind and the wonderful cheerleaders you need in your corner the day of your wedding. Every bridesmaid and mother loved their hair and makeup and as the bride-I was happy in every single way! Highly recommend!

A wonderful experience

We used Lipstick N Lashes for our wedding in April and could not have been happier. The planning of a wedding is so stressful but Joanna made it so easy with helping map out the morning for us so it was organized and fun! Everyone did a beautiful job on hair and makeup. A great experience!

We had a very small wedding in the Adirondacks and I was going for a very romantic natural look. I found Lipstick & Lashes through a friend who had used them for her wedding. I live in New Jersey so getting up there for a trial was going to be difficult because of my work schedule but they were very flexible with scheduling so I made a quick trip up and had my hair and makeup trial and it was such a nice experience. The ladies (Michaela and Ashley) showed up on the wedding day ready to glam us all up. We had so much fun and they had everything and more to make sure we all got the full treatment! They finished up a little early which was so great because my girls and I were able to sit and have a glass of champagne before the nervousness set in. Most of my girls chose a half up half down style with a braid and I chose a loose romantic low bun and everything came out just beautiful. Our hair and makeup stayed all night through dancing and hugging and even a couple of wind gusts while we were getting photos down by the lake! Thank you to all of the ladies at Lipstick & Lashes who helped our day to be as amazing as it was. And thank you to Joanna for always responding so promptly and being so incredibly patient with all of my questions! I promise to post pics once we get our final images back!

Thank you to the ladies at Lipstick and Lashes for a great experience. My wedding was in June and it was a pretty hot day so I was a little worried about everything staying. Amazing Experience!

Joanna did my hair and makeup for my wedding in December 2021 and both turned out PERFECTLY. I'm a "90 Day Fiance" so I had less than 90 days to plan and have my wedding which is a really short amount of time. I found Lipstick N Lashes online, looked through their previous photos and decided to go with Joanna after a Facetime session where she could see my hair (COVID was also going on during this time). Joanna was great to work with from start to finish. I sent her a few photos of what I was hoping to look like on the big day and she was able to deliver. I received so many compliments and the makeup/hair lasted well into the night. I love my wedding photos because I still look like me, just a much better version of me!! My experience with Lipstick N Lashes was AMAZING!

Joanna is incredible!!! We tried a couple of different makeup looks during my trial, and she gave me the natural and flawless look I wanted for my wedding day. On the day of the wedding, Joanna did my future mother-in-law and sister-in-law's makeup. They hadn't done a trial; however, all Joanna needed was a brief conversation, and she gave them the looks they wanted.

Easy, Breezy Process that made me feel SO beautiful on my big day !

I’m so glad I chose Lipstick N Lashes to get us ready for my big day. After doing my trial over the summer, I was SO excited because I knew my day-of look was exactly what I was looking for.
On wedding day, Joanna & Bella travelled to the venue and Joanna even brought me an adorable sparkly bottle of champagne to pop with my girls while we got ready. We had so much fun getting ready and all of us were SO happy with how we looked. In the past, I never was a fan of getting my hair/makeup done because I felt overdone… but this experience was completely different. Even with pre-wedding stress breakouts underneath, I still felt my prettiest & I LOVE that she listened to my ideas and worked with me to create the exact look I wanted. Thank you Joanna!

Joanna and her team were amazing! They listened to what we wanted; we had a great experience doing the trial and I would highly recommend doing a trail with her. This way she gets to know you before the wedding. We had (6) girls, (2) Moms and (2) add-on's and Joanna was so engaged with all of us. You can't go wrong with her! All of our makeup was spot on and we had so much fun with her the morning of our wedding.

Flawless! LOVED all of our hair and makeup.

Joanna and her team did an amazing job on all 10 of my girls and my mom! We had a very early morning and a lot of girls to get ready. The lipstick N lashes team worked so hard to make sure everyone was ready on time. Everyone was so happy with how their hair and makeup came out. So classy, elegant, and natural looking. Happy Bride!

My makeup and hair for my wedding day were exactly as I pictured. I felt naturally beautiful which is exactly what I requested and I am also so happy with the way our makeup and hair turned out in pictures as well. Weekday wedding

After we had to cancel due to Covid we decided to have a very small celebration in the Adirondacks midweek. We had a very small party but the hair and makeup arrived bright and early to get us all ready. They were so much fun and we loved our looks. Everyone looked fresh and natural which was perfect for our day. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience start to finish!

Thank you to the ladies at Lipstick n Lashes for making my wedding day so special. Joanna was so responsive from the first time I reached out and it made the whole process so pleasant. We had a very large group getting hair and makeup done so we knew we were going to have to begin relatively early. The team showed up early to set up then began working on bridesmaids and moms. They have this system down pat and did not skip a beat! We never ever felt rushed or like we were worried about time. They finished 30 minutes before we were supposed to be done and did touch ups on everyone before wrapping up the morning.
Everyone looked absolutely stunning! My hair and makeup was better than I imagined and I couldn’t have been happier. Thank you Joanna and the team of true artists!

Fabulous hair and makeup team!

Marissa did my hair and makeup trial and was so flexible. She was willing to try a few different things with my hair and makeup, offering valuable suggestions that really helped me achieve the look I was going for. On the day of the wedding, 3 women came to the venue to get 8 of us ready. Everyone loved their hair and makeup!

I would highly recommend Lipstick N' Lashes to anyone looking for professional and beautiful wedding hair and makeup. Marissa was so personable when I met her for my hair and makeup trial. Then when I decided to change my hairstyle for my special day, Marissa and Joanna accommodated me and got me in for another hair trial so I felt good prior to my day. Joanna personally made the bridal touch-up kits with her cricut and made me feel taken care of. Everything with getting ready the morning of went smoothly and came out gorgeous!

They rocked my vision!

After a very stressful year of two postponements and praying to not have a third, Joanna was a dream to work with! She answered my emails within 2 hours every single time I reached out and she never made me feel like I was being a pain (even though I felt like I was 😂) She was just so friendly and professional it really just made this very stressed out bride feel so much less stressed. On the wedding day these ladies showed up on time and ready to take on my large bridal party. They set up and like a fine oiled machine, began working their magic! They even brought me a beautiful touch up kit and an extra to give to one of my bridesmaids which was so thoughtful! We all loved our looks. Our makeup was flawless and lasted all night. Joanna and her glam team are truly amazing artists. Joanna absolutely crushed my bridal vision for my hair and makeup and I cannot thank her enough. December wedding

Joanna is amazing!! My husband and I had no idea what we were doing with our wedding. We had postponed and postponed again and each time Joanna was so understanding and easy to work with. We ended up last minute deciding just to elope and I emailed Joanna on thanksgiving asking if she could help me with hair and makeup even though I was getting married in 3 weeks. She answered me that same day and accommodated my request to come to the salon. She was so amazing and my hair and makeup came out perfectly! Do yourself a favor and book this true beauty professional! Joanna was my first choice for hair and makeup on my wedding day. I discovered her through reading numerous reviews. I wanted someone responsive and personable. She exceeded my expectations! We had a small church ceremony with plans for a reception in the future when it is safe for large groups to gather again. I appreciated how clean and mindful she was about everyone’s health and safety. She traveled about an hour to us and I could not be more thankful for how gorgeous she made my mom and I look and feel on my wedding day! Joanna saved me. Due to Covid, I was not able to do a makeup trial with my original vendor until right before my wedding and then it was awful. I did a rush Google search for anyone in the area and found Joanna 🙏🏻 I think I was crying the first time we spoke, but I knew instantly everything would be ok. She got me in quickly for a trial and everything was perfect. One week later at my wedding, it was even more beautiful. Joanna nailed my hair requests and even when I wanted makeup colors slightly changed the day of, it was no problem! Working with Joanna was like having a long-time friend there on my wedding day!

Joanna is Amazing!

I had Joanna for my bridal makeup as well as my maid of honor and mother. She does amazing work! She was punctual and made sure everyone was comfortable and happy with their makeup. She did a variety of looks from glam for my maid of honor to natural for my mother and a little in between for mine! We were all very happy with the final looks and they lasted all day! Phenomenal Team To Work With

The Lipstick N Lashes team was amazing! I had my trial a week before with Sam and she was so nice and personable. Without even showing her pictures she did an amazing job creating my perfect boho hairstyle which she recreated the morning of my wedding day. The team came out to my family camp in the Adirondacks at the crack of dawn to get my party of 9 girls looking their best (and did it in a small space I may add). They were sweet and made the morning fun and special. All of the girls in my party enjoyed the experience and looked amazing. Cannot recommend enough!

Last minute... and very impressed with wedding hair!

It was two months until our wedding and I still had not hired a hairdressor. Liptstick N' Lashes was recommended to me by multiple hairdressors who were already booked. I called Joanna and she responded back to me so quickly, and I immediately set up a trial. Joanna calmed my nerves and was great to work with! When it came to the wedding day, Joanna was not available, however she sent two girls who did an incredible job on mine, the bridesmaids and mother of grooms hairstyles! Joanna helped make my wedding day so special. My MOH and I did trials with her for our hair and makeup before the wedding. Joanna was wonderful and really listened to what we wanted and didn’t want but also was great with suggestions. She was patient and made us feel like we were her only clients. She has an amazing personality and we instantly connected with her that day. I knew right then I had made the right choice in choosing her for our hair and makeup for the wedding day. Fast forward to the day of the wedding...Joanna was just the person we needed to keep us chatting and laughing while we were getting ready. I hired LNL for my August wedding and I have to say, it could not have gone any more seamlessly! Joanna answered my emails, texts etc. right up until the day before my event. I kept apologizing because I felt like I was being annoying but she assured me I was not and answered me in details and promptly each time. From the minute I spoke to Joanna, I knew I was in great hands. As someone who is self conscious about certain features, I was super indecisive on what hairstyle and makeup would make me feel most like myself for my wedding. I can't say enough great things about Joanna and her team! She did such an amazing job on our hair and make-up for my wedding last week. A great experience

There were 8 of us getting our hair done for the wedding- Mary did such a great job! She was punctual, so friendly, and very talented! My mom wasn't so sure what she wanted, so she tried a couple different styles for her, and ultimately she looked great! Our hair stayed in place all night!

Talented & Fun to work with

Lipstick n' Lashes was a pleasure to work with! Joanna helped me form a schedule for the day and easily accommodated my request for an additional stylist. The girls traveled from the Albany area to Manchester, VT to do hair styling for myself, the MOB, MOG and 5 bridesmaids. They arrived early, set up quickly and managed to finish ahead of schedule with everyone absolutely ecstatic about how they looked. Since I am from out of town I was not able to do a trial, but Sam quickly realized my vision, put in my extensions with ease and actually played around with several options for my headpiece and veil. Not only were both Sam and Sarah professional and amazing at what they do, they were kind and thoughtful, funny and very additive to our getting ready experience. I had initially struggled to find hair stylists who would travel to VT, but am so grateful I found L&L. Receiving never ending compliments on my hair and how beautiful the bridesmaids looked never got old!

Wonderful Experience

Had a terrific experience dealing with Joanna R and the stylists (hair and makeup) from Lipstick N Lashes. I used the bridal trial for the engagement shoot and really happy that I did. There are no words... SO Very Happy!!!!!

The words, THANK YOU, just do NOT even begin to express my experience with Joanna and her team. I was very nervous and Joanna was able to take me to a very Calm place- Her Professionalism really helped to calm my nerves- She was committed to making my desired look perfect. WHICH SHE DID, not just for myself- but for my daughter as well. She really listens to you and that helps. I was soo happy with my finished look- and it lasted - literally 2 days- she uses good quality products and my lashes even lasted! She was so flexible with all of our schedules for our trials and even adapted to last minute time changes.

Forever Grateful Bride!

I recently worked with Joanna and Lipstick N Lashes for my October 6 wedding and the results are INCREDIBLE!!! All of my bridesmaids looked amazing! Joanna took a picture of what I always wanted my hair to look like on my wedding day and made it a reality! Her and her team have a passion for what they do! Joanna had to roll with some last minute changes the day of and handled it with complete grace. She made a stressed out bride relaxed. I couldn't recommend Lipstick N Lashes enough!!

Joanna & Chase did mine and my wedding party’s hair and makeup at our venue. They arrived on time and helped us pick out the best location in the house for natural lighting. They worked quickly and were able to give everyone the style they wanted. I had an outdoor wedding on a humid day. My hair held its curl throughout the day and most of the evening. My makeup lasted the whole time even though I was hot and sweaty. I would recommend using Lipstick N Lashes for any important hair & makeup needs!

Joanna is amazing! Our wedding date was changed due to a cancer diagnosis in our family. She was so understanding and took all the stress out of it so we could focus on what we needed to. Joanna and the rest of the stylists at Lipstick n Lashes are so wonderful! Joanna was very responsive to emails, which was key as we were planning our wedding from out of state. Sam did an excellent job with our makeup and Kayla worked magic with all of our very different hair types. They were both fun to hang out with on the day of as well! I found Lipstick & Lashes just a month before my wedding, after going through a bad wedding trial experience with a local salon. They set me up to work with Autumn, who was able to travel to my wedding location in Vermont. I was pretty nervous going into it because I didn't have enough time for a trial but she did a stellar job!! The hair was everything I had envisioned and the makeup was perfect - I really wanted to make sure I looked relatively natural and she did a great job accomplishing what I was going for on the first try (the only thing we tweaked at the end was lip color). I'm amazed that everything stayed put as well as it did - even after crying about 10 times and lots of dancing and squeezing into a photo booth with 10 guests, etc. She was also super sweet and my bridesmaids, mom and I had fun chatting with her. To start, I planned a destination wedding in Lake George, NY, and I booked a hair stylist the week of! Many a bride may find me nuts, but honestly time totally got away from me. Good news, best choice ever because we got Sarah from Lipstick N Lashes to come do our hair.

Sarah was calm, cool, and collected. She arrived early, while I was still in shower, and got right to setting up. Very professional. I loved my hair! My two bridesmaids loved theirs as well! She looked at a picture and did just as we asked. I would honestly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding hair service.

Note: One of the bridesmaids has super curly hair and Sarah didn't miss a beat!

This was the best decision I could have made for my wedding makeup. My bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom all looked absolutely stunning. The airbrush look was so natural and make our skin look flawless. Joanna hands down did the best professional makeup application that I've ever had before. I cannot rave enough about her work and professionalism. It was worth every penny and I felt like a princess for the entire day!!!!

Joanna was very responsive and kind all through our correspondence from the beginning and up to wedding day. She was very accommodating with time and very professional. She offered a free second hair trial for me when I expressed concerns about my hair coming undone so quickly after the first trial. Second trial did the trick! We ended up with that hairstyle for my wedding, and when completed with three beautiful gold leaf hair pins I bought online, I was very, very happy with my bridal hairstyle. It stayed up all night. Joanna also provided hair services for my two bridesmaids, which they loved as well. People commented all through the night about how great my hair looked. :)

Joanna and her AMAZING team of professionals were so wonderful to work with! For my wedding in the ADK region we had Ann and Jade come to do our hair and makeup. Jade was amazing at listening to what each girl wanted for their makeup look! So sweet and so amazing! These wonderful ladies accomplished doing hair and make up the morning of my wedding for eleven girls: myself the bride, six bridesmaids, and family... and making it look easy and effortless! The morning was totally stress free, because everyone was easy to work with and the timeline worked out perfectly, even with so many people to do before an early afternoon wedding. One bridesmaid even had her hair redone a bit after she didn't love it the first try (there is always one girl, haha). Liz was the make up artist for my bridal party on the wedding day. She was AWESOME! Everyone loved their make up. At the trial I had one of my bridesmaids with me that was hesitant to get her make up done because she is Asian and doesn't like when other people do her make up. Joanna was recommended to me by my photographer as being reliable, on time, and great with her work. I set up a make up trial with her, and quickly saw what all the fuss was about! Not only was she easy to get ahold of, quick to respond to phone calls and emails, but she has such a great personality and is so fun to work with. Joanna and Anne were absolutely wonderful!!! I knew from the second I met them that I made the right decision. I had a blast during my trial, and while getting ready for the wedding. They were so excited to be there, and were so efficient and professional while doing all of our hair and makeup. My bridesmaids (7) were soo happy with their services and prices!! My mom, who could not decide what to do with her hair for months before the wedding, was overjoyed at the style they chose for her. Even though I had had a trial, I told Joanna to get creative with my makeup the day of and she did such a fabulous job! I still had a natural look, but she made my eyes just pop in the perfect way, I was soo happy!! Anne was incredible! Joanna & her team of girls did a perfect job with hair & makeup for all of us...including 2 toddler flower girls & a little mohawk "do" for my 2 yr old ring bearer...so cute! I never liked the way my hair/makeup turned out when I was a bridesmaid in other weddings but all I had to do was show Joanna a pic & she completely transformed me exactly how I wanted, but better than I even imagined. I was very pleased with Lipstick N Lashes and I am happy that I picked them to do the makeup for my wedding. I love makeup and am super picky when other people do my makeup so I was even more picky when it came to selecting who I would book to do all the makeup for my wedding. I was referred to Lipstick N Lashes by my photographer and booked them right away after viewing some of their work online and in other weddings. My makeup looked great along with all of my bridesmaids not to mention our makeup stayed on all night and I didn't even need a touch up. I would definitely recommend Lipstick N Lashes to anyone else.

Joanna was GREAT to work with. I came from out of town, so we did everything via email and it worked out perfectly! She could not have done a better job on my hair & make up - it was everything I thought it would be. Absolutely perfect!

I'm not even sure where to start when talking about how much I loved working with Joanna and Allie at Lipstick and Lashes! They were amazing on the day of our wedding, and equally as wonderful during the trials I had. It was so wonderful to have them come to us girls on our wedding day... I absolutely loved sitting around with my mother and bridesmaids while we got beautified! It was such a fun way to start such a special day.

Joanna is wonderful- so sweet, and so willing to make you feel comfortable with your hair and makeup. I was pretty indecisive with my hair, and scheduled 3 trials; the third was an impromptu that Joanna was able to schedule for me only a few days before my wedding (when I was having doubts about my updo). On the day of, she presented several options and was so patient. I absolutely loved my final hair and makeup! One of my favorite moments of our day was when Joanna said, "I'm going to miss you!" I truly felt like I had spent the morning and my previous trials with one of my good friends! She goes above and beyond, and I can't recommend her enough.

I love Allie too, and so did all of our girls who had her for updos. She provided a ton of guidance for my indecisive girls, and their hair came out amazing. She is so sweet, and so much fun to hang out with too!

Lipstick and Lashes were amazing, and I can't recommend Joanna and Allie enough. I plan on being a forever customer, because I enjoyed working with them so much!!!

I just got married yesterday at the Franklin Plaza and had the pleasure of spending my morning with Anne. I traveled (over an hour) to Lipstick N Lashes a few months ago to get a hair trial done because I had heard about their amazing work and I fell in love with their website and photo gallery. I loved the trial! I have sooo much hair and I wasn't sure it would work with my visions- but I had no doubt that Anne could do it. Yesterday, she got to the bridal suite early and was ready to go. She spent a good amount of time on all of us (myself and 3 others). Everyone's hair came out beautifully. Joanna was great in keeping in touch with me and saving a hair piece that I fell in love with at their shop. I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. Thank you for traveling to us!

Joanna and her "glam crew" arrived at my hotel room bright and early at 6:00 a.m. to begin the beautification process of my bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and myself for my wedding day! Even though there were a lot of nerves and emotions running high in that hotel suite, Joanna and her girls were SOO amazing at turning everyone into movie stars for the day. Every single one of my girls looked so glamourous...I just cannot thank Lipstick N Lashes enough. The makeup stayed on ALL day...even though we got ready so early in the morning. That was simply amazing! Oh...and just a recommendation for all the ladies out there...get the fake lashes...just do it, you won't be disappointed. :)

Lipstick and Lashes is without a doubt the most amazing salon in upstate NY and I am more than happy with how my ladies and I looked on my wedding day! My wedding day was one of the best days of my life, and to see how beautiful we all looked is just priceless! From the first day I met the salon owner, Joanna, I absolutely loved her boutique and knew right away that she would be the one to make it special! I met Joanna just over a year before my day, and continued to visit the salon for services, and never left disappointed!! Joanna did my makeup and hair for my engagement photos,for the rehearsal dinner and then for the actual wedding day! I have to brag about the fact that she added extensions to my hair, and all three times, I felt more than confident with them as everyone thought it was my actual hair! The ladies of my wedding party looked glamorous, as each of their hair styles matched their personalities! There was a total of nine of us and Joanna and her team never once said "I'm not sure we can do that!" They were able to do anything that my girls brought to the table! Whatever crazy ideas (and there were a few) that i thought of, Joanna made it happen! My make up was flawless, and I even had lashes applied that looked completely natural!

(Lipstick and Lashes also did my daughters hair and makeup for her prom and she was stunning!!! Not to mention an ombre hair color done by Allie which was and still is absolutely beautiful! As a mother when my daughter first told me about this color which was like a red and blonde combination, I was very nervous. However, after sitting in Allie's chair, I was more than impressed!!)

Joanna definitely made this entire process fun and went out of her way to make my experience less stressful and simply perfect. I gained an amazing friend and will always continue to visit the salon! I couldn't have dreamed of having a better experience! <3

I could not have been happier with the hair and make-up services provided by Lipstick N Lashes. Joanna, the salon's owner, was a pleasure to work with; she was always so gracious and responsive to my numerous questions, concerns, and changes in plans.

Patricia, our make-up artist, was incredible -- truly, she was a saint! I was a little emotionally raw at my make-up trial and had a minor bridal meltdown; rather than treating me like a crazy person (which how I probably came across in the moment), Patricia was infinitely calm, patient, reassuring, and nurturing. On the day of the wedding, she created a look that was flawless and made me feel beautiful (which is a *huge* deal for someone like me who can be highly self-critical!), all the while keeping me laughing and at ease throughout the entire process. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Katie, our hair stylist, was equally wonderful. She felt like another girlfriend during the getting-ready process, joining in on our jokes and excitement about the day. The hairstyle she created for me was so gorgeous, I was glad that I had made the decision to forego a veil so that the style wasn't hidden. She was able to work with numerous hair types in my wedding party, and my maid of honor (whose very curly hair has been ruined by other wedding day stylists in the past) couldn't stop raving about how happy she was with Katie's styling of her hair.

I would recommend Lipstick N Lashes -- and Patricia and Katie in particular -- to any bride without hesitation. It was an absolute joy to get to know them and to have them involved with the wedding.

I was lucky enough to book Lipstick N Lashes for my memorial day weekend on May 24, 2014. Joanna is amazing and transformed me to the Victorian look i was hoping for and Anne did an absolutely amazing job on my hair! I felt beautiful and so did my sister and mother. Joanna and Anne are fun to work with and really make you feel special on your wedding day. They were very prompt and extremely talented. I can't say enough about them, they are worth every penny and more and they will make you feel beautiful and very relaxed on your wedding day. Much thanks to both Joanna and Anne!

Not only are the ladies at Lipstick N Lashes professional, easy to work with and extremely talented; they are a fun group to work with and help made the process of getting ready very much enjoyable. They showed up early, set-up and were ready to go at start time. They had a prepared but relaxed energy that helped calm my nerves.

I would highly recommend this group to anyone looking for bridal hair and make-up services. Special thanks to Anne and Yvette for making me look extra special on my special day.
