We are so happy we went with Khadija and Limelight Productions!
For all the months leading up to our wedding, Khadija kept us organized and on task. She was so patient with us as we went through unexpected life changes. As a planner, Khadija was great at making sure we hit the major milestones while still fitting in the details. And the planning meetings were so fun!
Khadija went above and beyond in communication with our vendors. We always had multiple options and could find the best fit for our occasion.
Most of all, it really mattered to the Limelight team that we enjoyed our wedding day! All of the careful preparation leading up to the event and all the stuff they did made our day so wonderful!
We entrusted our to wedding day to Khadija and Limelight and they delivered! We highly recommend! -

Can't thank Limelight Productions enough!!
I came here to gush about Limelight Productions, specifically Khadija. She helped me plan my 300-person, Indian, bay area wedding in 2023, which is not an easy feat.
Resourcing: Khadija was able to suggest a variety of vendors and options as we were planning my bay area wedding. This was crucial to me since I didn't have that much spare time to do a ton of vendor research. Additionally, she was able to tell me who was reliable and who wasn't, based on her experience.
Details: I thought I was a very organized person, but Khadija is next level. She is extremely detail oriented and took note of everything. She asked me a variety of questions I would have never thought of. She made sure there was a plan a, plan b, and plan c. If I was falling behind on deadlines, she was there to help me prioritize and get squared away.
Honesty: I asked her opinion constantly, and she was always extremely honest with me - and not in the judgy-aunty way! She wanted to make sure I made the most informed decisions possible. The only time she kept things from me was on my wedding day, and that was to keep me from getting stressed by problems she was solving for, in time. (As a person who really wants to know everything, I'm grateful I DIDN'T know all the little venue issues that popped up on my wedding day! Just saying, for my fellow Type A brides...)
Personality: Khadija is extremely easy-going, kind, and focused on your happiness. I got stressed out by the process a few times, but she walked me through it and made sure I was comfortable and not overthinking it. She made sure my wedding fit me and my fiance's dream, not anyone else's. I was probably overbearing quite a few times, but she never let me know it.
I truly enjoyed having Limelight as my wedding planner, and now, post-wedding, I miss my weekly calls with Khadija! -

If you're looking for a wedding planner who can handle all the details and make sure your special day is flawless, look no further than Khadija. From the first meeting, she took the time to understand our vision for the wedding and worked tirelessly to make it a reality. We had a fusion Indian / Amercian wedding and her expertise in the area really shone.
Khadija was always available to answer our questions and provide guidance throughout the planning process. She was incredibly organized, ensuring that all the vendors were in place and everything was scheduled perfectly. Her attention to detail was great, and her expertise was invaluable in making sure everything went smoothly. She also worked hard to ensure that our families felt included in the planning and on wedding day which was a really nice touch.
On the day of the wedding, Khadija was a true professional, making sure that everything was taken care of so we could enjoy our day without any worries. I want to highlight her work on a last minute issue which was caused by to our venue not being able to fit a piano in the room we wanted it to be in. Khadija jumped on the case and we were able to get a different piano company who delivered within a few hours. The piano was a great success and worked perfectly as we had planned.
Overall, we couldn't have been happier with Khadija's services. She made our wedding day unforgettable, and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner who truly cares about making your day special. Thank you, Khadija! -

We have so much to thank Limelight & Khadija’s team for.
When we started planning & reaching out to wedding planners/coordinators, we had two main requirements:
1, Our planner had to be very familiar & comfortable with South Asian weddings.
2, Our planner had to be very comfortable with queer couples.
When we met Khadija, we were immediately the most comfortable we’d felt with any other planners/coordinators we’d met with. Throughout 15 months of planning calls, Khadija guided us through the processes and checklists, and made sure we had options for other vendors that we were fully comfortable with.
We were married on Nov 12, 2022, in what was going to be a fully outdoor, 150-person wedding in Nevada City, CA. Four days before our wedding, a totally unexpected snowstorm dropped four feet of snow, and we had to completely pivot everything we had planned for the past 15 months of weekly calls with Khadija.
Khadija was an absolute rockstar.
She was in constant communication with us – reaching out to additional vendors, the venue owner, the photographers, etc. Her calm & confident approach to a totally chaotic situation made all the difference. In the end, we got so many comments from guests about how beautifully everything came together, despite the wild circumstances. We were so grateful we had Khadija’s team guiding through the day and the weekend, and we cannot recommend her enough.

This review is long overdue! We highly highly recommend Khadija and her team to plan the most dreamy wedding for you.
Our wedding was one amongst several weddings that had to rescheduled due to COVID, with the added complication of family needing to travel to the US from abroad. So when we were finally able to have our wedding, the entire event had to be planned in the span of 2 months.
While I don’t typically recommend planning a 200 person wedding in 2 months, Limelight productions made wedding planning a breeze. Khadija was extremely responsive and regularly communicated all updates. She took time to build a personal relationship with me to understand what I wanted from the wedding and with my family to understand what they were looking for, to plan the perfect event. Not knowing anything about vendors in the area, we found it extremely helpful when Khadija had a playbook for the best vendors in the area.
Khadija jumped in with a very organized plan and helped guide me and my family through the planning process. While she originally was only helping to plan our reception, 2 weeks before our wedding week (due to other complication !!! ), her team also jumped onboard to help plan and coordinate the wedding as well! Since having a traditional kerala hindu wedding was extremely important for my family, Khadija thoroughly researched our traditions and flawlessly executed our entire wedding. We had family in India think that the wedding actually happened in India because of how traditionally everything came together.
Cannot praise Limelight productions enough! Thanks Khadija so so much -

I love Limelight!
Khadija and her team are the best! We initially weren't sure if we wanted to have a Coordinator for our wedding but I can't imagine what a mess the day would have been without the Limelight team. From the beginning, Khadija made the experience so fun and painless with weekly check-ins, a very thorough spreadsheet, and one-on-one correspondence with our vendors. She really took the time to understand our priorities, the feel of the wedding, and reassured us that we were even ahead of schedule.
Once we reached the weekend wedding, I was completely overwhelmed with all of the people around and activities ahead, but knew I was in such good hands with Khadija and her team! They met us for a rehearsal the day before the wedding and were so patient and detail-oriented with the entire rehearsal process. The day of the wedding, I knew I just needed to show up and follow directions and that everything would go smoothly. And it did! The day was so amazing, beyond what I could have imagined, all because Limelight was there to work directly with the vendors, set up décor, and keep us on schedule. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! -

We HIGHLY recommend Khadija and her team at Limelight Productions for your future wedding!!! Khadija did an absolutely amazing job planning our wedding in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. My husband and I live out of state and Khadija did an excellent job coordinating our 150-guest wedding at the San Jose City Rotunda. The venue itself had not hosted many weddings prior to ours but Khadija and her team transformed the space into the most beautiful and memorable Indian - American fusion wedding. Khadija kept us on track with weekly phone calls and had an organized spreadsheet for literally everything. She also helped secure basically all of our other vendors from catering to henna. Look no further if you’re considering Limelight Productions for your event… I will certainly refer our friends and family to her for future weddings!! -

This review is a long overdue! My wedding plans took a drastic shift due to COVID last year and instead of the typical big fat Indian wedding it transitioned into a beautiful backyard wedding thanks to Limelight Productions! I'm so thankful to Khadija and Gabriela who basically came in less than 2 weeks before my new wedding date and helped take control of all logistics and communication with our vendors, so that my family and I can just simply enjoy the events. I know my sister out of everyone was most grateful. Khadija and Gabriela were both really professional, responsive, and respectful. Khadija was also quick on her feet to come up with any alternatives when things didn't go to plan. I can't thank her enough for all the help and making things less stressful of putting a wedding together during COVID. I highly recommend Limelight Productions for your wedding! -

Fall Wedding
First and foremost, Khadijia and her team did an absolutely amazing job! If there’s one thing I HIGHLY recommend for planning a wedding is hiring a Wedding Planner! Khadijia did such an amazing job organizing our wedding and helped made our vision come true. She assured us every week where we stand with vendors, our timing, etc. She was on point with getting everything and everyone on board for the big day! Hire this girl, she will make your wedding planning so easy and very stress free! You tell her what you need and/or missing and she will help get it within your budget! She’s freaking amazing!
Thank you again Khadijia! You worked with our budget, vision, and understood every plan we had. You helped made our wedding a beautiful unforgettable day! ‘Till this day, my family talks about the details we incorporated; they absolutely loved it! -

Khadija and her company Limelight were absolutely amazing and essential to planning and pulling off my wedding! We had a 140 person wedding in Stinson Beach and Khadija worked with me for months to make the day perfect. She is organized, responsive, professional, and was able to step in and solve problems (like when my sound system stopped working during the reception dance) that would have drove me crazy! Can't recommend her and this company enough. -

If I could choose more than 5 stars, I would. In fact, I'd give Limelight Productions 5,000 stars!! From start to finish, Khadija was the hero of our wedding. She was supporting, helpful, cooperative, inspiring, and all-around wonderful in every way. We got married in Tiburon with about 100-people and it was absolutely perfect. Khadija helped us coordinate from the very beginning. She kept us on track, suggested helpful tips & ideas to make our wedding special, responded to every annoying text & email I sent her, and was our champion with all of our other vendors. We could NOT have done this without her and our wedding was perfect BECAUSE of Khadija & Limelight. She went above and beyond for us, as she would for any of her clients, and I cannot recommend her more highly. If you're getting married, or planning any kind of large event, you NEED Limelight Productions. -

Khadija and her team did an amazing job helping to plan our wedding at the Golden Gate Club in the Presidio in San Francisco. From the beginning Khadija was incredibly organized, highly responsive, and well-versed in all things related to wedding planning.
We connected with Limelight over a year in advance of our wedding. At the beginning Khadija helped us research wedding venues. We didn’t know exactly what we wanted and Khadija was extremely patient in helping us figure out our aesthetic. Once we had the major items out of the way Khadija ensured that we stayed on track with all our to-dos and decisions throughout the year. Khadija consistently made time for us. She accompanies us to the final few venues we were deciding between, decor showrooms, and multiple site visits at the wedding venue.
Ultimately our wedding went off without any issue. Everyone had an amazing time and the day ran incredibly smoothly.
I highly recommend Khadija & Limelight Productions for your wedding!

I don't think I can rave about this company enough, but I'll do my best to put it into words!!
We went to a wedding in October of 2018 where Khadija was the coordinator and with our friend's recommendation we decided to reach out to her for our own (May 2019)! We weren't originally looking into a coordinator but things started getting stressful because of unexpected (and unusual) factors.
Thankfully for us she had a cancellation (unfortunately for the other couple) and was able to do our wedding!! Hiring Limelight Productions was the best decision we made in regards to our wedding!! My husband and I have zero regrets and would absolutely do it again, but even earlier!!
The entire planning process felt so easy once Khadija started working with us! Although we had always lived in the Bay Area, my husband was relocated for work a month after we got engaged so we were planning a San Francisco wedding from Ohio. Khadija had no issues making the time zones work for our communication!! She made sure to know all the details necessary for a smooth day beforehand and accepted a very obscure and difficult task of keeping a specific immediate family member from my husband and I on our wedding day to ensure we could enjoy our day.
She took the brunt of all of that family member's anger at the rehearsal and on the wedding day, including that person's friends also giving her attitude. Even more importantly than that, she handled it with so much grace!! She didn't bat an eye at the rude remarks or hesitate to put herself in the line of fire to make sure we were okay! From the outside you would have never known there was any hostility!
We had a donut wall for our dessert that people started grabbing early (ugh at our guests) and she quickly found our dessert people to use something as a blockade for the dessert until it was time.
I'm sure there were things that went wrong that day that I don't even know about because Khadija was totally on top of it all!! Talking with her when planning felt like talking to a friend! She really goes above and beyond to make you feel totally comfortable! I had no concerns putting my trust in her from the beginning and everything the day of our wedding went absolutely perfectly!! Khadija was a HUGE factor in making our day the best day ever!!
My husband and I both are eternally grateful for all Khadija did and agree that hiring Limelight was worth every single penny!! -

Hiring James and Khadija for day-of coordination was absolutely one of the best wedding choices we made. They went above and beyond the whole month prior to our wedding. The last month was hard, not only with the sudden passing of my grandmother, but we had multiple problems in the last two weeks before our big day. I would have been in total meltdown mode without James taking charge. He fixed several communication problems we had between vendors, including one that led us to have to change all our table rentals and seating arrangements at the last minute. I found myself emailing James multiple times a day, but he always found a fast solution for every issue.
In addition to all the planning, they made the day of run seamlessly. I was originally apprehensive about having our ceremony and reception at two different venues, but they handled everything perfectly. My biggest concern was the overlap of setting up our reception and having our ceremony, but they made everything work fantastically. James guided us through the whole day with ease and Khadija set up our reception beautifully. We also worked with their partner Safia, who made our gorgeous 3-tiered wedding cake for an amazing price. Our whole day was amazing and easy thanks to their team. We truly would not have survived wedding planning without them. We cannot recommend them enough! -

We worked with Khadija and her team for our summer 2023 wedding and couldn't recommend them more highly! We interviewed quite a few planners experienced in Indian weddings and were looking for someone particularly experienced in South Indian weddings. Khadija stood out immediately due to her responsiveness, attention to detail, and professionalism. She was also particularly helpful with challenges which were out of her scope - we hadn't engaged her to help us find a venue as we had found one on our own, but when they double booked on us and canceled (a very stressful experience), Khadija stepped in and helped us find a new venue even though she hadn't initially planned on it. She was also amazing on the day of and ensured that all the moving pieces of our busy day were coordinated seamlessly. Our friends and family were all impressed with our well our wedding was executed - thanks so much to the whole LimeLight team! It wouldn't have been possible without them. -

Our wedding was on July 7, 2018 in Oakland's Preservation Park. James and Khadija did a great job coordinating our wedding. They were hired to coordinate for the day of the wedding. My husband and I did the planning, gathering the vendors, and executing the contracts. We then handed them over to James to coordinate the logistics. James was very involved from the beginning. We had fun conference calls. It was very casual. The day of the wedding, it was a success with very minor issues. Limelight Productions did a great job executing the wedding. The ceremony was very fun, where I was able to pull of a surprise. The reception, at the same place, was hella fun. It was a great success. All 260 of our guests said they had a great time and it was one to remember.
Our only suggestion is to dress the part. You guys do a great job coordinating. Make sure you stand out in the crowd and don't blend in.
