Jiho and his team at Lilly Photography are THE best in the business. From capturing our personalities to feeling like they weren’t even there was incredible. The outcome? AMAZING! The moments we had unseen that were captured were a true representation of the night we wanted and hoped for. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else if you want your special day to be the best day ever.

Best value for the final product is an understatement! The level of professionalism and comfort throughout the day. The thoughtfulness of the couple and guests at every turn was noticed!

The Perfect City Hall Wedding Photographer!

We used Jiho for our chilly City Hall wedding and he did not disappoint. We are a lowkey couple that admittedly isn't the most natural in front of the camera and he made us immediately feel at ease with how down to earth he is! He found ways to capture our personalities while not making anything feel forced. I would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a laid back photographer who is looking to capture pictures of who you are as a couple! We could not be happier.

Amazing photographer

I would recommend Jiho over and over. He was an absolute dream to work with from the very first email, he was amazing on our wedding day, and he delivered the most incredible photos within 2 weeks of our wedding! Everyone was swooning over what beautiful photos he was able to capture.

Amazing Photographer!

I worked with Jiho for my wedding at Greenhouse Loft in Chicago on 11/2/19. Everything with Jiho was great from start to finish. A co-worker who loved her wedding photos recommended him to me. From my initial email on, Jiho was always responsive and provided very thoughtful answers to questions throughout the process. He gave really helpful advice about how to structure the day for photos and also looked out for my budget advising me when it wasn’t worth spending more money on something. On the day of – Jiho was ON POINT. He was able to take a ton of pictures throughout the day super efficiently to make sure we got everything we wanted. We did getting ready photos and the first look at one location, and then took wedding party photos at 4 different locations throughout the Logan Square area before the wedding. We then took photos with different family and friend groups before and after the ceremony. He was able to direct a ton of people very quickly and keep the day moving. Above all else – his pictures were STUNNING. We talked a lot about the style I was looking for and they turned out exactly as I wanted. He was great at capturing subtle moments with my husband and I throughout the reception and ceremony, and he was really creative with the group photos. And he got the photos to us in 6 weeks! Our experience with Jiho was great from start to finish, highly recommend!

Hire Jiho - Just Do It.

From our first meeting, Jiho was friendly, accommodating, thoughtful, and opinionated. He offered his opinion as an expert while also accepting any ideas that we requested. He struck a balance that we didn't receive from any other vendor. Shortly put, Jiho is a professional. BUT IT GETS BETTER - Jiho is also an incredible artist. As we looked through our photos (which he turned around in less than 6 weeks!!), we couldn't pick a favorite. Every. Photo. Was. Amazing. Stop looking for photographers and hire this man (and his team - Ryan was a superstar). Check photographer off your list and worry about something else.

Best photographer!!

Jiho is absolutely AMAZING!! Choosing a great photographer to capture our wedding day was very important to my husband and I since these photos will last a lifetime. Jiho was better than we could have ever imagined. He is very talented and has a great eye for capturing the best shots. The candid shots they got from our wedding are incredible and I truly feel like I’m reliving our wedding as I scroll through the pictures. Him and Ryan were our photographers on our wedding day and they were both extremely organized and were able to capture all of the important shots that we wanted and more. Jiho was also super helpful before the wedding. He helped us with our timeline to make sure we were able to get the pics we wanted but also enjoy our wedding... he nailed it! I can’t say enough positive things about Jiho and his team and I’m so happy we were able to have him and Ryan capture our special day!!

It’s hard to know where to start with Jiho Park. Full disclosure, he’s been a friend of mine for years, but I never had the opportunity to work with him and his photography business until my wedding day. He was kind enough to travel to Massachusetts in the dead of winter, and he made everyone involved comfortable and provided a ton of laughs. He’s so skilled at what he does that you never worry about what he’s going to do or how he’s doing it. He joked around with our wedding party during photos and got a ton of wonderful pictures with genuine smiles and laughter from everyone. My husband and I commented after the wedding that neither one of us had any idea where he was during the ceremony - he was a total ninja! He got so many amazing candid shots of us and our loved ones, it’s going to be impossible not to order prints of every single picture. I’m not good at being serious, so most of the pictures of me are ridiculous and goofy, and they’re perfect. I don’t know how he knows where to be to get the perfect picture at the exact right moment, but he does. And it’s incredible. After he published a few teaser photos, people were swooning over the artistic genius of the photos’ composition. And then when he released them all to share with our guests, people couldn’t stop saying wonderful things about them - and even a month after our wedding, people are STILL texting me just to say they looked through the photos again and felt like they were reliving the day all over again. I will cherish these photos forever, and we can’t thank Jiho enough for the wonderful experience we all had with him. If you’re on the fence about whether or not to book him for your wedding, DON’T BE. Book him immediately and know that this is one aspect of your wedding day you won’t have to worry an ounce about.

Jiho was our most talented vendor. He does an amazing job with different lighting and took some beautiful, artistic photos. He also took some great documentary photos and captured great emotions of me, my husband and our guests. He took the formal family photos quickly so we could finish and celebrate the rest of the reception. Just look at his photos on his website and you'll see why I would recommend to everyone!

Our pictures are beautiful, classic, timeless, in the moment, and more. It’s important that we found a photographer that really cared about her job and it showed! My future husband and I met up with Stephanie at a Starbucks to see what we would expect from wedding photography. Of course, you always want the posed shots, but we also wanted pictures that captured the moment in real time. Stephanie and the owner of Lilly Photography (Jiho) answered back to my emails right away with any questions that I had. Stephanie and her assistant were amazing on the day of our wedding! We love all of our pictures! We had such a hard time picking out a photographer, but we definitely made the right decision. At first, I was going to pick a commercial photographer (Timothy Whaley, etc), and I’m so glad that we did not. I spent countless days comparing photographers and reading reviews. Wedding photos are timeless, and it is something that goes through the generation of families. We got married on June 9, 2018, and got our pictures back by June 24, 2018. Their are so many different pictures that we love. The pictures really tell the story of our wedding day and how happy we were the whole day. We decided to have our day photographed for 9.5 hours. I’m glad that we made the investment in Lilly Photography because the pictures were priceless!!!

I am so in love with my wedding pis! Jiho and Stephanie did an amazing job with our photos. We chose them because we wanted someone who was going to be able to capture the in-between photos. I continue to be amazed at how they captured the day. They took our winter evening wedding and turned it into a masterpiece. They did not pressure us into doing a first look and were flexible to what we wanted and the timeline we had. Highly recommend them!

My fiance and I loved how he would make the most of out of the place and situation. He is very creative and has an eye for details. The pictures turned out amazing!

Jiho made my wedding day effortless. I hadn't realized how essential the photographer is to the organization and flow of the big day until I met Jiho and his team. They took care of me so well that I felt like I just floated through the day. Jiho accomplishes this because he has the perfect personality for this job--he calmly and subtly keeps things on track, but he is relaxed and SO creative at the same time. He worked with my plans while making little tweaks and giving me professional advice in a non-judgemental way. I was so happy that he was there on my big day.

The photos are wonderful. Jiho is particularly talented at capturing the following:
-Moments of love (as I started walking down the aisle, he snapped a shot of my dad looking proudly down at me)
-Flattering/ heartwarming candids
-Humor (I laughed out loud multiple times looking at my gallery)
-Unexpected views/angles (I never could have dreamed that some of the architecture photos would turn out as artistic as they are)
None of my photos feel cliche. I feel like he captured the emotions, the color, the grandeur of the venue, and the joy of that day in a way that makes me feel like I am re-living the wedding day when I look at these photos.

Picking Lilly Photography and Jiho's team was a decision that has left me with perfect memories that I can cherish for years! Thank you so much!

We hired Jiho to photograph our July 7, 2017 wedding, and knew we wanted him as our photographer from our first phone meeting when he called himself a "photo ninja". He was exceptionally easy to work with, explained things quickly and concisely, and clearly had confidence in what he does, which put me at ease. When he showed up the day of the wedding, he immediately started taking pictures, and directing shots. Our wedding coordinator said that he was one of the best photographers she had worked with because he kept to the outlined schedule and was VERY conscientious of time. Besides all of that, our photos are gorgeous, and we could not be happier with what he shot. We very highly recommend Jiho to photograph any important event, as he will do a phenomenal job.

Jiho is incredible! From the very beginning, we were met with the utmost professionalism. Our inquiries were always answered same-day, which was so appreciated. Regarding our wedding photos, they completely blew us away. Jiho has such a creative eye and amazing attention to detail. He captured so many small, sweet moments I had forgotten had even happened in the whirlwind of the wedding day. He does a perfect job of blending artistic, "wow" photos, and capturing raw emotions. Also, during the ceremony and reception I don't even remember seeing him, which in my opinion is what also makes a great photographer. He blended in and was able to take the most stunning photos we have ever seen. They are true works of art. Jiho is kind, brilliant, talented, and will work with anyone and everyone. Jiho was incredibly responsive and eager to meet with my parents and me, and my dad and I truly loved his work. We dabble in photography for fun and thought Jiho was not only a talented photography, but also an incredible artist. He took our wedding photos on Sept. 4, 2016. Every photo is BEAUTIFUL! There isn't a bad photo of anyone: bride, groom, families, wedding party, friends, etc. Jiho has a fair price for his work, which we also loved. After seeing wedding photos from other friends and family (of their weddings), I know my parents and I made the right decision in choosing Lilly photography. Jiho and Kathleen captured so many beautiful and memorable moments throughout the day and evening, including some that my husband and I don't remember at all (wedding day was a blur!). Jiho and Kathleen were also very respectful of my rabbi's wishes to not use flash photography during the ceremony and stayed in the aisles to get photos. I was concerned about this, but the ceremony photos turned out to be beautiful! I also don't remember seeing Kathleen or Jiho often at all during the reception, and neither did my husband or my parents, which was great! The hardest part has been choosing which photos I want in a wedding album, which is not the worst problem to have! Thank you so, so much to Jiho and Kathleen for everything!

We used Lilly Photography for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing! Jiho’s energy, passion, and professionalism from our first meeting to the wedding was second to none, and made me, as the bride feel comfortable and confident that our pictures were in such great hands. On our actual wedding day, Jiho was able to capture amazing moments and keep us on our schedule without feeling rushed so that my husband and I were truly able to enjoy our day. Besides the high quality professionalism that we got from Lilly Photography throughout this wedding process, the quality of our wedding pictures were unreal! After our wedding, it was exciting to check Lilly Photography’s Facebook page to see the different pictures that Jiho would post from our day. We were so lucky to have Jiho photograph our wedding last month! It was obvious from the day we first reviewed his portfolio that he did incredible work. Jiho is an amazing photographer. He photographed a friend's wedding on a day that POURED...and with his last minute improvisation the pictures turned out absolutely FANTASTIC! So I booked him...his prices are very competitive but his work probably exceeds those values. He was flexible (we changed our wedding date and plans) and he came along with us to a destination wedding. He was so fun and a true pleasure to work with. Very professional AND personable! You can't go wrong.

Every couple should be so lucky to have a photographer like Jiho for their wedding day. Jiho was amazing at helping us organize our timeline for the day and ensured that we had all of the pictures we wanted while also giving us time to socialize with friends and family. He went out of his way to take pictures at my grandmother's house before the wedding and found ways to take candid pictures of my very photo-shy grandma.

Jiho and Amy were troopers throughout the day. It was the one day it snowed in November and we have the most breathtaking pictures because of their vision. Not only would I hire Lilly Photography again but I have strongly recommended others to use them. I can't wait until we have an opportunity to hire them again! Jiho and Krista were wonderful to work with and will help us remember the details of our wedding for years to come! We were very lucky to find Jiho, and from my first phone conversation, I knew he would be great to work with. As my husband and I live in New York, Jiho was incredibly accommodating to ensure that we were able to get to know each other.

The day of the wedding, Jiho and Krista took such beautiful photos! All of them are stunning- it was so wonderful to walk around the Art Institute with them taking photos before the ceremony. We were especially appreciative of him taking SO many family photos after the ceremony. All our family/friends love all the photos too!

There are not enough words to describe how AWESOME of an experience we had with Jiho and Kathleen of Lilly Photography! We booked our wedding with Jiho and his assistant Kathleen about 20 months before our wedding, and are so happy we did. From our easy communication with Jiho, through our beautiful October engagement session, to our absolutely STUNNING July wedding photos; we would hire Lilly Photography over and over again. It was about 90 degrees on our wedding day, and you would never know from our professional photos. Jiho and Kathleen busted their rear-ends to get wonderful shots- even in these hot and humid conditions.

Pictures are important to us, and I sincerely believe we could not have made a better decision with who we trusted to take our most important photos. What you see on his site is only a fraction of what you get...every single photo we received was just as beautiful as the highlight photos.

We will definitely be contacting Lilly Photography to take our future family photos when the time comes!

If you are considering Jiho (Lily Photography) for any photos you will not be disappointed. We had Jiho take our engagement photos, engagement party and wedding day photos. He is a professional, a dream to work with. He has an eye for unique, BEAUTIFUL shots that will amaze you. Our wedding guests were so impressed with his enthusiasm and hard work for our BIG Greek wedding. A lot of our friends have already asked to work with him for upcoming events. Jiho asks all the right questions, gets the shots you didn't know you wanted and makes sure you are happy. For me, there is no one better for the most important (photo) day of your life. I knew, when I got engaged, that photography was going to be one of my biggest splurges. I researched and contacted various photographers, but I finally chose Lilly Photography for their excited demeanor, their gorgeous online photo sessions, and their pricing. My photographers were Stephanie and Kathleen and they were an absolute delight. They were unobtrusive, yet they captured moments I thought they couldn't have seen. I chose two photographers because I wanted to make sure that both my husband's and my family could be represented. Through their pictures, I have been able to see various angles of the entire wedding day and I don't feel like I missed a single minute. Our portraits came out gorgeous and creative, and having them online has made them much more accessible. The turnaround was an impressive 3 weeks. I highly recommend this team of photographers, they rock!

There was one profound statement I remember from our first meeting that Jiho said: “I’m looking to be a friend through this process. I don’t want to feel like an outsider at your wedding but that you want me to be there.” That type of personal attention really stood out with me, and I walked away from that meeting believing him. Our Engagement Shoot was on a cold October Thursday. We were to meet in the afternoon outside of Wrigley Field. Low & behold, Jiho was there 15 minutes early, freezing just like we were. This was a terribly cold day for “causal clothes” but Jiho not once rushed us through the process. We were cold, so we can only imagine so was Jiho. However not once did he show it, complain, or make us feel like he didn’t want to be there. There were some very light flurries and it was extremely overcast. Sounds like awful weather for romantic photos but Jiho was so excited about the light, and after seeing the five preview shots on Facebook a few days later I could see why! He has such an amazing eye for light and juxtaposition. The second part of our shoot was downtown by Michigan Ave. and the Chicago River. One of the sights I REALLY wanted was Lauren and I standing on the median of Michigan Ave facing North during rush hour. Jiho immediately understood the shot we wanted. We wanted the traffic and the crazy scene of Chicago but for a moment our love at a standstill. We stood in the middle of Michigan Ave for almost 20 minutes. The shot wasn’t there with cars stopped; we need traffic and cars blazing by. We were over our time at this point and I was getting worried. Jiho wasn’t and was so patient to get this shot. And when we finally saw that shot a few weeks later – it made the whole day worth it! THAT couldn’t have happened without Jiho! Jiho & Lilly Photography (& Missy) made all of our wonderful memories possible and we will always be grateful to them for their professionalism, abilities,and wonderful eyes to create such magnificent art!

Jiho is a consummate professional and a superb artist. When I got the opportunity of returning to my hometown of Chicago for a weekend with my husband, I immediately called him and scheduled a session. His vision, use of light and his clean, modern, minimalistic and visually stunning images made my choice the easiest possible! He took the time to listen and incorporate one of my favorite locations in the city and knew the area like the back of his hand and knew exactly what we were looking for! He was so much fun to be around and made our time together comfortable and relaxed. The images he captured for us are true works of art and we will treasure them in our home for years to come!! We worked with jiho for our engagement session and wedding. When we first met jiho he brought a "suitcase" full of examples of his work. He is very professional and very easy to work with. As first timers, looking for a photographer he stood out with his kindness and knowledge and made it easy for us to feel confident in choosing him. His website has hundreds if not thousands of photos of his work and they're all excellent. I must say that he knows what he's doing and knows how to interact with his customers. And he also responds to emails fast!!

My fiance and I spent long hours searching for just the right photographer for our wedding - we ultimately narrowed our choices down to Lilly Photography and another photographer. We were initially drawn to Jiho for his creativeness and "architectural" eye (we loved the way he used space and noticed architectural elements) and Jiho's enthusiasm during our initial Skype meeting sealed the deal. We were thrilled to be able to book him (he books early and quickly!) and I'm still so glad we did - I have nothing but good things to say about our experience. Jiho was always very professional - quick to answer questions/emails, timely, and also clearly very experienced with photographing weddings (he was efficient and captured everything beautifully). He's also so fun to work with - multiple members of the bridal party (including my parents) commented on his great energy/enthusiasm and I couldn't agree more - you can tell he loves what he does. The final products were also stunning. We loved our engagement photos and we loved our wedding photos even more. Jiho and his assistant Stephanie (who was the sweetest!) were able to capture so many lovely moments and expressions. The standard shots were all covered wonderfully and Jiho's signature style resulted in some gorgeous and unique shots that we will always treasure. As far as pricing goes, having thoroughly researched the wedding photography market in the Chicago area, I thought pricing was reasonable and on point for the quality of Jiho's work. We can't thank Jiho and Stephanie enough for their great work and will definitely be recommending Lilly Photography to our engaged Chicago-area friends!

My husband's and my biggest priority was our photography for our wedding. We both enjoy photography as a hobby - not only taking photos but viewing others, so we had a fairly high standard of what we wanted. Jiho and the staff at Lilly Photography blew our expectations out of the water. The composition was perfect and they got all the right shots.

In addition, we had a winter wedding and they were extremely accommodating with not only dealing with the freezing temps, but getting those amazing snow shots.

Lastly, Jiho and his staff were efficient and responsive. We planned our wedding from 1,000 miles away and everytime I emailed Jiho I had a response within hours (usually minutes, but I did have a few middle of the night emails). The website and services used for viewing pictures was great too.

If you're looking for someone who can really capture the emotion, fun, and overall day, definitely go to Lilly Photography!!

I’ve wanted to use Lilly Photography ever since he shot my best friend’s wedding in 2011. Her pictures were AMAZING! So beautiful, creative, fresh and timeless. I could tell Jiho had a great eye and on top of it I was impressed at the lengths he would personally go to get the right shot. When we got engaged, I knew there was only one photographer for me – Lilly Photography. Jiho was literally the third piece of my wedding that I booked. We had our engagement pictures in September of 2012 and I was beyond thrilled. He is so comfortable to work with and really puts you at ease right away. We really got some fun, unique and innovative shots. Exactly what I was looking for! Flash forward to our wedding in September 2013, again I was beyond thrilled to work with him and his second shooter Jessica. A few weeks before the wedding, Jiho and I chatted and walked through the flow and format of the entire wedding day. For a crazy planner/control freak like me that was just what I needed to make sure that everyone knew where to be, when, and what to expect. On the actual wedding day, Jiho and Jessica were a dream to work with. I didn’t realize how busy they were until I saw the final images weeks later. They captured so many wonderful, candid and memorable moments. I can’t help but smile when I look through all of my pictures. I don’t know how they did it, but they really captured the love and the warmth of the day. Everyone glowed! Pictures were one of the most important things to me and I’m so happy I made the decision to go with Lilly Photography. Jiho is one of the nicest people I met through the whole wedding planning process. He (and Jessica) really captured the essence of the day and have made me so happy with each and every wedding picture they gave us. I consider the photographer the most important wedding vendor so when looking for one I was super picky! No joke, looked at least 50 photographer's websites! I stopped on Lilly's Photography's page and absolutely loved his (Jiho) work. He was a little above our budget, but in the end I knew it would be worth spending a little more. Not only is he hilarious on Facebook, he is very professional when it comes to his work. Jiho also did our engagement pictures and they turned out great. He is extremely creative and it is AMAZING how all his pictures turn out.

Jiho also made sure he was prepared for our big day by setting up a call a week before to go over our expectations. On the day off, we was on time and was professional at all times. And most importantly, he made sure we were on schedule and not late going back to the reception, as we had limited picture time. I watched a video sent from a wedding guest of our reception entrance and we saw Jiho moving around us like a ninja (lol) - seriously though he was great at being hidden and not interrupting us.

We also had a second photographer which was a "second photographer." She was good for the "posed" pictures, but I felt she was not very creative and at one point I was a bit frustrated with her because she took about 15 minutes to take a picture of our (mine and bridesmaids) shoes. And on any wedding day you do not have 15 minutes to spare! Other than that, working with Lilly Photography went smoothly. No complaints about Jiho, except he did reject our tray of sliced cake pieces to take home. LOL

Jiho posted a couple pictures from our wedding on Facebook and we cant wait to see more!!! If we could do it all over again, we would definitely choose Jiho as our photographer!!! BEST CHOICE EVERRRRR!!! THANK YOU JIHO!

Jiho and Missy did our wedding on 10/18/13, and I couldn't be more pleased. Jiho was very professional, flexible, and responsive VIA emails leading up to the big day. Our wedding wasn't super traditional, as we did not have a wedding party, and Jiho was so amazing at accommodating us with everything. We've only seen 2 preview pictures on their Facebook page so far, but they were amazzzzing and we cannot wait to see the other shots they got!

Missy was absolutely hilarious, and made us both feel right at ease. Neither of us like being the center of attention, and Missy had a way of making us feel comfortable.

Jiho is so talented and creative, and really thinks outside of the box with his photography. We are so excited to see everything they got from our big day, and will be happy to recommend them to friends and family in the future!

Jiho is an incredible photographer. He puts 110% into his work and you can see it in every picture. Our package included an engagement session, and every photo you seriously say "Wow, how did take that?" Him and his staff are extremely personable and professional. I first saw Jiho's work on facebook. These amazing engagement pictures showed up on my news feed of a couple I didn't even know, and I was completely hooked. Jiho is absolutely amazing! I was referred to him from a friend who had Jiho as her wedding photographer. He is so easy to get a hold of and work with. We just got our engagement pictures back and we have so many favorites, it will be very difficult to choose! I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am that I selected Lilly Photography to shoot our April wedding. The engagement session we experienced prior to our wedding was fantastic. Since we live in Chicago, but our wedding was going to be held in Wisconsin we really wanted our engagement pictures to have a lot of Chicago landmarks in them. Jiho and his assistant shot us first at our home, then took us to the Field Museum, Soldier Field campus for the backdrop of the rest of our session. Our wedding pictures are just as wonderful and we couldn't be happier with the results. Jiho is so creative and his work is fantastic. He looks at his surroundings and sees things that others do not. I found picking a photographer one of the most challenging aspects of wedding planning. You need to make sure someone shares your vision and is cool enough, since you are spending all day with them. When my husband and I met Jiho we could picture him at the wedding with us. He has soo much passion and energy it is contagious. I thought he was more excited for my wedding than I was. :) Not only is Lilly Photography great to work with, but my pictures are amazing! I could not have been happier. We took very cool shots and Jiho was not afraid to get in the bushes and roll on the ground to make sure every special moment was captured. They are very reasonable and you cannot beat the value for the cost!

He completely won my dad over by the end of the night and accumulated several fans at my wedding. His packages are very affordable and he is extremely accommodating. At the last minute he brought along a second shooter and an assistant so everything was very streamlined. We had an engagement shoot with him a few months before the wedding and it was such a great experience. We spent a couple hours with him and it really helped us be more comfortable in front of the camera on the wedding day. The pictures from the engagement shoot are awesome and I can't wait to see the rest from the wedding. I will always highly recommend Jiho to anyone that asks!

Jiho was an extreme pleasure to work with! He not only has all the knowledge but opened our eyes to some exciting opportunities to capture our most special moment. Boy did he hit it out of the park! Just in the few sneak peaks I saw it's truly exciting. As that day flew by I was so caught up in the moment and to see parts of that day just the way they were really has made me smile! Jiho Park is an amazing photographer. He never ignores the small details, and is SO creative! I have never seen such beautiful pictures taken, and his photos look like they belong in magazines.

He is such a wonderful person and fun to work with. He is also very quick with editing and getting your pictures to you.

Jiho did a family photo shoot for Me, My husband, and our daughter, as well as our wedding photos. And we cannot wait to work with him again!

Lilly was very responsive during the whole process. We were not local and Lilly made sure to meet with us when we were in town and responded promptly to emails and phone calls prior to the wedding.

We also found Lilly to be very reasonable in comparison to other photogs. He's flexible enough to give you exactly what you want and at a reasonable price.

Quality of service: top notch. Jiho's work captured the emotion of our event with an excellent balance of creativity, artistry, pragmatism and emotion. Jiho uses top-of-the-line equipment and composes his shots carefully and with a great deal of thought.

Responsiveness: Jiho was always available by email and phone in a reasonable time frame. When we were waiting for our pictures to be finished, Jiho would always keep us in the loop with the latest information he had.

Professionalism: Jiho listened to our ideas, and then used his professional judgment to incorporate our ideas into his vision of our event. The results were always good. Of course, Jiho arrived on time to all functions and conducted himself professionally in all interactions with us.

Value for Cost: In the greater Chicagoland area, Jiho's value is hard to beat. Since we retained him, he has increased his exposure and raised his prices. However, his value is still excellent, considering the quality of his work.

Flexibility: Jiho was always willing to listen to our ideas and make changes to our schedule as needed.

I simply can't say enough about how wonderful Lilly Photography. Jiho was absolutely a joy to work with, and we absolutely love love loved the photos he took in both our engagement session and the wedding. He was always readily available for questions etc., had great ideas and always asked if there was anything we wanted captured.We've gotten nothing but compliments, and all our engaged friends wanted his contact info. Lilly Photography went above and beyond for my husband and me on our wedding day (and our mothers, and our friends, and our venue coordinator, and anyone else who happened to be in their presence). The turn around time for their pictures was MUCH sooner than anticipated - especially since we had a June wedding! I received all of my photos, available for download, only three full weeks after the wedding. The color, artistic design, and overall quality of the pictures goes unrivaled. I am also incredibly happy about the amount of coverage the company was able to provide (we booked 2 photographers). I gave a 4/5 for value (because I am crazy nit-picking! They really are amazing!!!) only because they are quite expensive for the area and tend to use their own poses and ideas. While their experience obviously tends to show & they know what "works", it would have been nice if they would have took interest in a shared Pinterest board or requested to see some ideas we were interested in capturing. However, in the end, I do feel they were "worth" the money spent and I am incredibly grateful for their patience and dedication.

The first time we saw Jiho Park from Lilly Photography was when we were guests at a friend’s wedding. Actually, I should clarify that we didn’t really notice him at the wedding (which is good as a guest), but I saw our friend’s wedding pictures and they were gorgeous! Very bright and beautiful. So, when it was our time to get married, we didn’t even think twice about it. We met with Jiho at a coffee shop and instantly thought it would be really enjoyable to work with him (sidenote: we were right). So we booked him for our March 2012 wedding.

We decided to do the engagement session and the wedding. This is totally the way to go. The engagement session, besides being fun and you ending up with some really nice plain-clothes pictures, really lets you get to know how the photographer works. It helps you get much more comfortable with the non-stop picture taking and being the center of attention, which is exactly how you’ll feel at the wedding. So, adding that extra bit of comfort to your big day goes a LONG way.

Also, Lilly does more than just weddings and engagements, and they mentioned tons of great ideas on really unique places to shoot all around Chicagoland. We had our engagement session at Millennium Park in Chicago. I realize this doesn’t support my “unique location” comment (we chose this location), but I bring it up because our absolute favorite shots weren’t the shots by the tourist traps (bean, etc.), but the ones that were off the paths, the parts of the park most passersby would completely ignore. They have the ability to find a great shot where you’d least expect it.

The day of the wedding went so smoothly. We had our “first look” pictures at Lilacia Park in Lombard, and we easily got all the pictures on our checklist. The photographers kept us on schedule, but we didn’t feel rushed or anything. At the church, we didn’t notice the photographer or the assistant at all. We were a bit preoccupied, but what I mean is that they weren’t in our faces or anything. Absolutely not a distraction to the ceremony, and they were still able to get shots from all over the place.

So, once the wedding was said and done, we were able to view our pictures online within a week! We were not expecting the turnaround to be that fast. And, it was amazing all the shots they got. Again, the photos were gorgeous, and so vibrant! We shared our online viewing site with our bridal party and much of our friends and family, and the compliments continue to keep coming! Trying to choose favorites for the wedding album has NOT been easy. And that’s a VERY good problem to have.

Don't Hire Kristina

This is not a reflection on Jiho, rather, Kristina was our photographer. My only daughter was married in September and I am divorced from her father. This momentous occasion can't be explained as my nerves and emotions runneth over. Unfortunately, Kristina had a difficult time understanding the family members. In the end I didn't have a photo with my children that didn't include my ex-husband. My daughter had photos taken off site and Kristina took a photo and show cased the photo to my daughter and son-in-law. Unfortunately, this photo wasn't included in the photos we received. Fortunately, Jiho located it for us when I went back to ask for it. Also, we have no photos of our guests at the reception. Apparently, this is something that has to be requested. I think Kristina would be fine as a portrait photographer, but definitely not for weddings.
