Working with Leslie was an absolute dream. Of all our vendors, she really stood out for always being personable and professional, on top of her talents as a photographer.
Throughout the planning process, Leslie consulted with us to schedule our family and couples photos into our wedding timeline to ensure we could make the most of our day. We decided down the road to have her shoot our rehearsal day as well, and couldn't be happier with our decision. Even amidst a few unexpected downpours, Leslie's professionalism and experience shined, as she was able to adapt and help us get in the shots we wanted.
She's a true joy to have around and made us feel at ease during both our engagement shoot and wedding weekend. She even got previews to us within 24 hours, which blew us away. I would 1000% recommend Leslie to any Maine couples looking for a fun and caring photographer to capture the magic of their day! -

Amazing Photographer and Wedding Cheerleader
I cannot express how much we enjoyed working with Leslie. She was SO organized, responsive, and kind throughout the entire process. She took the time to meet with us and discuss our vision for the day including a list of 'must have shots' and even took inspiration from our Pinterest board. On the day of our wedding, Leslie was a joy to work with. For our group shots, she was fun and brought a lot of great energy that kept everyone smiling. She captured wonderful candid moments as well as stunning portraits. My husband and I still flip through our photos and talk about how they capture the love and spirit of the day. Leslie is so wonderful to work with and we could not imagine our wedding memories in the hands of anyone else! -

Down to earth with a warm hug (that’s how we describe our experience with Leslie!)
Leslie was truly a dream to work with from start to finish. She was recommended by our wedding planners after we described wanting a more photojournalism style of photos with a refreshing personality. Leslie was the perfect fit. She started us off with an amazing welcome chat and after we did our engagement shoot we were smitten. She makes the sometimes awkward feeling of getting photographed feel effortless and even fun and was even able to get amazing photos of our pup (not an easy job!) And while we were never worried about how our photos would turn out, we were blown away with the final outcome. She truly brought our big day to life again with every image and captured the essence we were hoping to preserve. We can’t rave about Leslie more and can’t wait for more sessions in the future. -

Exceeded expectations!
Look no further than, Leslie!! One of the best decisions we made during wedding planning was hiring this incredible artist to photograph our special day. Leslie took my many calls to ensure that our timeline was down to the minute in order to capture the "golden light". Her calm, kind and professional demeanor had me at ease from the moment we first connected. Leslie's photojournalistic style ensured that every tiny moment was captured without the guests or the wedding party being overwhelmed with photos. Leslie is one of a kind and I still get tears in my eyes when I look at how beautifully she captured our wedding. You won't regret hiring Leslie and neither will your bank account because she is VERY fairly priced, unlike others. -

Leslie was amazing!!!
Leslie was absolutely a dream to work with throughout the entire process. We met with her for a few engagement photos a few months ahead of the wedding. Working with her was completely natural- neither of us is particularly comfortable in front of a camera, but Leslie helped us feel completely at ease. During the wedding, she seemed to be everywhere at once! Many of my guests remarked that she was almost a mind-reader, showing up exactly at the right moment to capture the joy of the evening. The photos are absolutely beautiful, and looking through them I felt all the same emotions from the day itself. Thank you Leslie!!! -

My Fiancé and I hired Leslie for both engagement photos and our wedding. We had such a fun time taking engagement photos with Leslie - she is so energetic and fun and creative. We love how the photos turned out. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we had to rework our wedding and won't be able to use Leslie but she was extremely gracious as we negotiated cancelling the contract. I would recommend her to anyone getting married in New England who wants natural, beautiful, emotion-evoking photos. -

Saying that Leslie is a phenomenal photographer somehow doesn't seem to describe just how talented she is.
Leslie's photography manages to capture the magic and feeling of our wedding. She uses warm colors and creative framing that incorporates the landscape around us into the wedding, which was so important for us, given that we chose our wedding location based on the beautiful backdrop that it provided for us. Her photos are style are unique- she avoids the cliches that dominate so much of modern wedding photography. She gave us an album of photos that feel truly special, as if there are no others like it in the world.
We were so thrilled to work with Leslie through the whole process of getting married. She cut through the stress and brought my wife back to a place of fun and joy. It was like working with a close friend through the entire process.
I cannot say enough good things about Leslie and her work. She should absolutely and without a doubt be at the top of anyone's list for a photography for their own special occasions, and should my wife and I ever need another photographer for future special days, she will be the first person that we will reach out to. I hope that you reach out to her, too! -

Excellent!!!
I only have positive things to saw about Leslie. She is laid back, professional, and takes amazing photographs. We really appreciated her flexibility given our date and venue changed several times. We got both our engagement and wedding photos taken by her which were very amazing as well as affordable. She was prompt in providing previews and the digital gallery. She’s easy to work with, captures all the best moments, and is such a sweet person! I would recommend her to anyone! -

A photographer that we will always cherish!
Leslie was the perfect fit for us and our wedding and our vision. As a very hands on and DIY bride, it was so nice to have someone really lead the way and calm any nerves about the big day. We really enjoyed meeting her a few weeks before the wedding over some beers on a hot summer day. We went over the whole day and what we wanted to capture for photos. She gave us some very important things to think about and she was also on board for some fun photos that we had planned (smoke bombs, potentially wading a river, and sparklers)! She's one of those kinds of people that you want to spend more time with and get to know more, so now we just need to have an excuse to go visit her again in Maine :) We couldn't be happier with our photos and the moments that she captured! We wanted photos that would tell a story of the day and that's exactly what we got! -

Leslie is amazing! Her style, attention to detail, cheerful attitude and overall sweetness made our experience perfect. And the photos are incredible - everyone, even the pickiest of guests, is thrilled with her shots. They are stunning! She handled everything with grace and was exactly the type of person you want nearby on your wedding day: calm, thoughtful, sweet. She was on the go non-stop and didn't miss a moment. Our only regret: we wish we booked her for the whole weekend with family, not just the big day. We'll absolutely recommend her to friends and think of her for other life moments. We were lucky enough to book Leslie as our photographer for our wedding in July. We had a very small, intimate wedding with just our parents in Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor, Maine. I don't think it would have been possible for any other photographer to capture this special day as well as she did. We'd spoken prior to the wedding about the style of pictures we were looking for and she did delivered that and some! We received so many compliments on how well the pictures turned out. We had many people comment that they looked like they were something out of a magazine, and I attribute all of the to her skills and style of photography. Not only are her pictures amazing, but she was also wonderful to work with. She is a very kind and enthusiastic individual, who has a genuine desire to get to know her clients and deliver top notch work. We enjoyed working with her and would highly recommend using her to capture all of your special moments. -

The most surreal photos of my life
Leslie is pure magic. Her photos give me chills, every single one. She sees people and places differently than most run of the mill wedding photographers - she is truly an artist. Her photos are moody in all the right ways and really encapsulate the people in the photo but also the magic of the setting. I can't say enough good things about her approach to our wedding day and how diligent she was throughout the whole process. She was able to wrangle 40+ people for a group photo and that takes serious skill. She is so lovely to work with and beautiful inside and out. She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding. If you're thinking about whether or not to hire Leslie to photograph your wedding, think no further.
Leslie exceeded every one of our expectations. She made the trip from Maine to Brooklyn to do our engagement shoot, and we loved her as soon as we met her. She took a genuine interest in us as a couple, and made sure our shots were true to us, and that we were as comfortable as possible in front of the camera. The whole session felt like hanging out with friends.
On our wedding day, she was incredible. She basically floated around our 200 person wedding, capturing the subtle details and candid moments. We received hundreds of photos that are frame-worthy. Even for a big wedding like ours, she somehow got it all.
The whole wedding industry can feel so canned and prescriptive, but Leslie is the opposite of all of that. She is a genuinely good person who wants to help you capture your day as you felt it. I would 100% recommend Leslie to anyone looking for a photographer who feels like someone you would invite to your wedding! -

The wedding day she was very efficient and was able to get our crazy, dysfunctional families to get together for pictures. Leslie is an amazing photographer, you can tell just by checking out her website. However, Leslie is also an amazing person. She is friendly and helped us to feel comfortable in front of the camera, even though I was very anxious about the prospect of being the center of attention. She spent a good long time on the phone with me to make sure that she was a good fit for our needs before we signed a contract which I very much appreciated. She was so very easy to work with -- we met her for engagement photos (I definitely recommend them -- they're stunning and she produced so many more photos than we expected) and liked her right away. She is incredibly professional and got shots that must have had her standing very near to us but we never felt intruded upon. She checked in with us during the day to make sure she caught the special moments but also did her thing, preserving joyful moments without overly staging the process. We also received our pictures back from her in a very timely manner. Her prices are fantastic for the quality of images -- grab her available dates now while she's still a steal! -

Christiana Sent on 04/20/2018We absolutely loved having Leslie as part of our big day! We had a Medium sized wedding at a rustic barn venue on a cloudy day in March.
1. She jumped into action within minutes of arriving at our venue.
2. She came prepared with a stool that she whipped out of her back pack when she needed to stand a bit taller.
3. She listened intently when we met prior to our wedding as well as during the event. She responded well to my flustered requests in the moment (bride brain)
4. She was/is friendly and fit right in with our group.
5. I swear she was in multiple places at once. She moved so quickly to capture every little moment that I would see her on one side of the room, turn away, and she would already be on the other side.
We struggled when it came to picking a photographer because it was the most important thing for us. We were not disappointed with Leslie! She met all of our expectations and more. We are thrilled to have the photos to look back on for years to come and we would most definitely recommend Leslie to anyone! -

She made the entire process joyous and easy, and she really listened to our vision for what the photographs would look like and the story that they would tell. We look forward to remembering the day with joy and love for many years thanks to Leslie’s expert documentation of the event.
Leslie is devoted to her craft. She has seemingly endless ideas for creating unique shots. She uses all angles and spaces to her advantage. At one point she ran across a busy street to capture an image of us under a large “LOVE” sign from a traffic median. Ten minutes later, she was up on a stepstool perched atop a steep hill to get a beautiful shot of us with the Baltimore skyline in the background. We were consistently impressed with the lengths she would go to in order to craft the perfect image.
In the weeks after the event, Leslie periodically sent us some ‘teaser’ images via email, which were wonderful treats that got us even more excited to see the full set. When our final images arrived, we were just overwhelmed with joy. What we love most about the final product is that each image is composed thoughtfully and captures a really particular feeling or moment in the day. Some are silly, some are romantic, some are serious -- together they form a gorgeous mosaic of our experience sharing the day with family and friends. -

She stayed as long as needed to capture every photo we wanted. She has such a sweet but professional personality and is so talented. I’ve only seen a handful of sneak peeks so far (we only got married a week ago!), but I’m so in love with all of the pictures.

Neither of us has had a lot of time in front of a camera because we're homebodies that just like to hang out with our cats, but Leslie helped us feel more comfortable and enjoy ourselves. She took pictures that were stunningly beautiful and still showed the real us! We got previews of our wedding pics in record time, and they're just wow!
Along with taking amazing photos- Leslie was a wonderful presence at the wedding! She is very perceptive, and helped wind down family photos when I was getting overwhelmed, and she responded with grace and style to a sassy guest. I can't imagine anyone else being our photographer. She is so talented!

Alicia Sent on 09/27/2017What was important to us was that we get photos that captured the stories, the conversations, the interactions of our small intimate wedding. Leslie did just that and more. Our couple photos are incredible, she made us feel comfortable and has such an eye for lighting and angles. I cannot believe how amazing these photos came out, she captured all the right angles and movements and lighting. During the dinner portion she completely captured the "story" whether it be an amazing candid of me hugging my mother in law; or a shot down the table with everyone smiling and laughing and in full conversation. We love that we have plenty of photos that show up close views of us, but also have photos that are more subtle [beautiful but not so staged] wedding photos. It should also be noted that Leslie is great to work with - she was traveling right before our wedding and took time to meet us for coffee, was so responsive in questions prior to our wedding, and got us our photos within a few weeks of our wedding weekend. Just the absolute best.

Beautiful day with beautiful photos!
My wife and I were married on 8/9/2020 in York, Maine. We hired Leslie to capture our moments and she didn't disappoint. We hired her for her artistic eye and she seemed to always be in the right place at the perfect time to capture many memories! After a few weeks and a few early surprises we received a wonderful email with our photos with a nice little note a few days later. She was flexible about timing, coming a little early and staying a little late! She took so many pictures and made us very comfortable. Most of the time we didn't know she was there and my husband, who doesn't really like having pictures taken said he felt comfortable with her when she was taking portraits. Leslie has a great warm and cheerful personality and really makes the most of every situation. We had a variety of choices with our photos and we LOVED working with her! I would definitely recommend working with Leslie!
