Amazing photographer and person!

Les is an incredible photographer and our photos turned out absolutely amazing!! Les is a sweet, kind soul who truly cares about his clients and constantly goes above and beyond to meet their needs! We have received endless compliments about both our wedding and engagement pictures and will cherish them forever! We are so blessed that we were able to work with Les and can't thank him enough!!

Les recently photographed my wedding and the images he and Justin captured are nothing short of amazing. Neither my wife nor myself are fans of being the center of attention or having our picture taken, but Les made us both feel completely at ease. I have known Les Aktins for over 20 years. He is simply the best. I am from his home town but moved away over 12 years ago. When I was planning my wedding I knew there was no one else who would capture the day better than Les Atkins. He did not let me down. He captured the most beautiful moments at our wedding and reception. Through his lens, I will always remember my beautiful day

Les Atkins Photography was one of the vendors recommended by my daughter's venue so we expected professionalism and high quality. What we got was so much more. A person who managed his portion of the event with efficiency and humor, keeping us all on track and on schedule and smiling. He was fast so we all spent more time with our guests yet he never sacrificed quality or creative shots. I cannot offer enough compliments on the photography and when all is said and done, the dress is packed away and the thank you notes mailed, what you have left are your memories and those are captured by an awesome photographer like Les. Thanks you, thank you, thank you from the very happy mother of the bride

If you are looking for the absolute BEST photographer - you've found him. Our engagement, bridal, and wedding day photos are phenomenal and was everything we hoped for. Les captures every moment that you'd want when looking back on your day. There are so many special moments captured with family members, guests, and beautiful pictures of my husband and me. He is so fun to work with! We had a blast during my bridal portraits and the wedding day was no different. There is nothing I would change about our experience working with Les Atkins; except to book him again ASAP! Your pictures are one of the most important aspects of your day, do yourself a favor and trust that to Les.

When every thing is going on and you could start to feel overwhelmed Les is there not to just capture this once in a lifetime experience but to be helpful in anyway possible. He is flexible and professional while also feeling like part of the family. When it came to me and my wife's wedding we knew that we would have some disagreements on different aspects but one thing we knew for Sure was that Les Atkins photography was the best option, hands down. I can't stress this enough you are not just getting a man behind a camera but a professional who cares. I would recommend him and his team 10 out of 10 times. Simply the best.

We contacted Les to shoot some family photos - the first professional shots of the 4 of us EVER (our youngest is just 5). We were not disappointed! Les picked the setting and timing (at the beach at sunset), and the results were phenomenal. My sister happened to tag along for the shoot and Les encouraged her to be a part of the experience. Talk about flexibility! These photos will surely last a lifetime. Thank you, Les!!!!!

Les is always great to work with and is an excellent photographer. He has done my high school pictures, my engagement photos, bridal photos, and wedding photos. They have all turned out amazing and are photos that will forever keep the memories alive. He is excellent at weddings because he really does capture every moment you want to keep and has a great time doing it. He is always smiling and has a wonderful personality.

Les is one of the most attentive photographers I know. He takes a normal photo shoot and puts his own twist on it, and those little details are what make a good picture, a great picture. I highly recommend Les, because of his professionalism, speed, quality, and for those who don't want to worry about whether or not your wedding photographer is getting the shots you want or not.....well, hire Les Atkins and you can wipe that worry off out your mind. He gets the shots you want, because he listens to what you like.

Les and his team are fantastic. They made sure to be present during all the important parts of our big day and still managed to capture tons of other pictures that we had no idea about. Les is willing to go above and beyond. He traveled to VA 3 times for my wedding. We never recieved a picture we weren't in love with. He was also so responsive, friendly, and courteous. He does not disappoint!

Hiring Les for our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He was so personable and really did a great job on photographing our wedding. Words can not describe how wonderful he did with our pictures. He did a fantastic job of photographing special moments and personalities of each individual. One word to describe Les Atkins Photography would be EXCELLENT! If I could give a 10 plus star rating I would, his work is amazing and he is one of the nicest people you could ever meet! If there is a perfect wedding photographer it's les atkins Photography! He first met my daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law during their engagement session and really took the time to get to know them. He listened to all of their desires and what they wished for on their wedding day and also had some amazing recommendations. Les' approach and personality made everyone on the special day (bride/groom/parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles/etc.) feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. Photos are nothing short of incredible! One of his photos from their special day even made The Huffington Post! Les is a true professional and artist. Highly recommend him!

There are not enough words to express how amazingly happy we are that we trusted Les with our wedding photos! We fell in love with him during our engagement photo shoot, but his pictures are absolutely breathtaking! They really captured our personality so well! He makes you comfortable - you don't even feel like you're having your picture taken, which was a huge relief for me (someone used to always being behind the camera and not in front of it!) I have had several people tell me how impressed they are with his photos and even some that have told me they wished they'd booked him to photograph their family's weddings that they're planning! Les is so friendly, so professional, and so creative and all of that shines through brilliantly in his pictures! I can't wait to frame our wedding pictures and we will definitely be using Les again for other photo opportunities - we not only gained a photographer, but we also gained a friend!

I can't say enough how happy we are to have Les Atkins as our wedding photographer. He was the very first vendor we booked. Had to make sure he was available the dates we wanted before we even booked our venue. LOVE HIS WORK! He shot our engagement session down in Outer Banks back in July. His recommendations and work are both equally amazing. He truly lets you be yourself and makes it so fun! We are in love with all of our photos from our shoot. He will travel wherever you need him. As he is located in NC, did our engagements in Corolla, NC and we will be married in May just outside of Richmond, VA. You will not be disappointed if you choose him to be your photographer.

Les did a wonderful job with our pictures. Our pictures are beautiful! He also has a great personality and makes the photo sessions very easy. I didn't want pictures after our wedding to last forever, and he was able to get every shot that I wanted in a very timely manner. He certainly fulfilled my time request. I am so happy that he was available to photograph our wedding. I suggest booking early because I am sure his calendar fills up quickly.

Les was great to work with. He was very helpful in determining which package would work best for us, and was willing to make adjustments as needed. He was very flexible with our engagement session and traveled a couple of hours to meet us where we wanted to do the pictures. They turned out great and we knew he was the photographer to have. Once the wedding was finally here, he was there early and stayed late and worked hard the whole time. The pictures were amazing! He and his assistant couldn't have done a better job. So glad we chose Les!

Les is awesome! He was so flexible in finding a time to take my bridal portraits outside with pending weather. He also went above and beyond by coming to my home to personally suggest the size frame my portrait should go in. He even let my mom borrow the easels for the portraits to sit on at the reception! Furthermore, he is incredibly affordable and was a pleasure to work with!

Les Atkins Photography provides a stress-free professional photography service with excellent results. We loved his approach to photography, as he provides traditional wedding shots, in addition to many candid shots, with a special trained eye for detail. He captured all of the special moments throughout the night and we were able to compile all of the "memories" in a beautiful high quality hardbound album. We highly recommend his services.

We hired Les after he worked multiple events for a number of our friends. He and his assistant were able to successfully capture our ceremony and reception without being intrusive, and the pictures perfectly preserved our special day for us and our family & friends. He is incredibly friendly and easy to work with.

Les Atkins Photography is as good as it gets. I didn't just give him 5 stars on everything because it was the easy way to rate his services. He handled the photography for my daughter's wedding, and I'd never met him before. His artistry as a photographer is world class, and I'm not prone to hyperbole. His work ethic is phenomenal. I would easily have released him for the evening after a certain point, but he was still there shooting late into the evening, and the photos were stunning. He is not a photographer. He is an artist. If anyone wants to have an event live on through beautiful, stunning photography, this is your photographer. His work is absolutely breathtaking.

Our wedding was perfect, and Les captured that. As the bride and groom, you rarely get to see everything that goes on during your wedding. Les allowed us to see it all through his fantastic pictures. Candid pictures, bridal party pictures, venue pictures. He captured every aspect and moment that we could have wanted. His creativity and professionalism are unparalleled. Any time I wanted to confirm something or ask a question leading up the wedding, he responded immediately. Les was worth every penny (and more!). Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without Les and his team. Highly, highly recommend them and will refer friends and family to him any chance I get. Les was amazing to work with from start to finish. He was always able to capture the look we were going for while making us look our very best. His photographs are like mini works of art! Additionally, he went above and beyond with accommodating our schedules. Although our wedding was in NC, we live in Kentucky so a lot of flexibility was needed. Weddings are stressful, but we were never stressed about the pictures because Les always had everything covered. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Les. The bridal portrait and our engagement and wedding photos are beautiful! Les had the unique ability to capture the true essence of the most special day of our lives. Les Atkins Photography did an amazing job with not only our wedding day, but our entire wedding weekend. Our wedding was in Charleston, SC and Les and his assistant came into town two days early to do my bridal portraits. Although he did not have to and for no extra charge, Les was all over the place capturing special moments of the day before the wedding- groomsmen golf, bridesmaid luncheon, and our rehearsal dinner. Les and both of his assistants were right on top of everything day-of... Beginning with hair and makeup at 9AM throughout the end of the reception (10:30PM). Both our families LOVE Les! He and his assistants blended in with everyone and you almost forgot they were even taking pictures... All the while, capturing it ALL.

I had done a ton of photographer research before deciding on Les since it was going to be an additional travel expense; however, his amazing pictures just kept jumping out at me and his prices were extremely reasonable for all that his packages included. We 100% recommend Les Atkins Photography!

Les was very accommodating in working his schedule around our wedding, which was a small venue. His professionalism is by far the best. He is very easy to work with and does extremely well working with children. Our wedding pictures captured the essence of our happiness. He had taken pictures during the ceremony that I didn't realize were taken until I saw them. I would highly recommend Les Adkins Photography for any occasion that you want special memories of.

As a bride, stress comes with the territory, and I was no exception to that. However, my photographer was one thing that I NEVER got stressed about. I knew I was in good hands from the start. Les is amazing! He takes fabulous pictures, but it was more than just that. He is very attentive and so easy to work with. We battled the rain from day 1 at our engagement pictures, my bridal portraits and on our wedding day, but Les and his crew never batted an eye. They still got the perfect shots. I have had several people look at our pics and tell me how they feel like they were at my wedding because of how well Les Atkins photography captured everything. Amazing! I look forward to working with Les in the future!!

Where to start about les atkins Photography? First, five stars is not enough! Les was beyond great at everything he did before, during, and after our wedding. When I say we had the best possible photographer I do not mean it in to be funny or cliché, it is the honest truth. Les went above and beyond to help in any way he could. He is a phenomenal photographer, awesome gift deliverer, skilled tie tier, great encourager, and overall he was the perfect choice for our special day. There isn't a single thing that I would change about our wedding day, and I am so glad I have those memories captured to look at and remember for a lifetime. We LOVE les atkins Photography!

Les truly exceeded my expectations as my wedding photographer!!! As soon as my now-husband proposed, I knew I had to have Les! I booked him before I booked a venue! He was very flexible and accommodating when I then had to change my projected date to secure my venue. We met at our engagement session, where he worked with our styles, my husbands Harley, & my father's classic restored bronco. The pictures turned out exactly like we wanted & looked amazing in frames all over the Rosemont Winery, on reception tables, & at our rehearsal dinner. When it came time to do my bridal portraits, Les made me feel so at ease. The first thing he told me was how perfect my makeup & my vintage look was & that immediately boosted my confidence which really showed in the pictures! Once again he was open to my crazy ideas! One of them being my "brides with bullets" shots with my husband's shotgun. I'm probably the first bride he's seen climb in the bed of a truck in a wedding dress & with a gun, but it didn't bother him! My mother, sister, Les & I had a great time that day! The shots made it so hard to pick just one for my bridal portrait. The day of the wedding, Les & his assistant showed up early & were immediately available for shots of my girls & I getting ready & pre-wedding cocktail hour for my guests. To be honest, after that, Les faded into the background, capturing shots, & you hardly knew he was there! He never got in the way or wasn't around when you wanted a picture with family, of one of your groomsmen doing the WORM on the dance floor, or just a shot with your two-seater bike wedding prop with your groom. The photos of my dad & I riding into the ceremony in his vintage bronco will always be close to my heart! I cried going through all 604 of my pictures because he really captured every moment (including some I missed) that day! I feel so lucky to have chosen such a talented photographer for a once-in-a-lifetime event! THANK YOU LES!

Les Atkins was beyond amazing. He was flexible with the times and "rules" of both my bridal portrait venue and wedding venue. I cannot say thank you enough for capturing such amazing moments that we will look back on and treasure forever.

Les is a wonderful photographer!! He shot our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and our wedding and each one was exactly what we wanted! He was so great to work with that by the time we got to the wedding, it was like an old friend was our photographer. My favorites were the candid shots he got at the wedding, we didn't even have to tell him what to get and they were perfect. Our wedding album is so special to us, every time we look through it it's like we are back at that special day. I definitely would recommend Les Atkins Photography for any special event in your life. I know we will be using him again!!

As soon as I met Les I knew he had to be our photographer. He has so much experience and instantly made my husband and I feel comfortable. We wanted to get married near our home town in Richmond, Virginia and Les had no problem traveling anywhere we wanted him to. He even scouted out our venue months before the wedding to be prepared for our day. We received our wedding pictures quickly and his team captured memories that I may have forgotten without him. If you are getting married in Virginia, you need to call Les!!! I couldn't imagine a more perfect photographer for the happiest day of my life! Thank you Les!

Les Atkins was the photographer for my wedding in June. I chose him as our photographer after I saw him at a friend's wedding and seeing the top quality work he did for them. From there, I planned my entire wedding day around Les including our main site venue! We were extremely pleased with the top quality work we received from Les, the unbeatable prices that were well within our budget, and his awesome personality! He included a free engagement session and came all the way to our hometown to take the pictures. I also really appreciated that he brought a second photographer to help on the wedding day. He was very flexible and easy to communicate with. He always got back with me immediately via text, Facebook, or phone. I would love to work with Les again in the future. If you are looking for a photographer for your special event, look no further! Les has the experience and expertise that you will want to capture the memories to last a lifetime!

Les was the best photographer ever. He worked with us so patiently cause both me and my husband hate taking pictures and Les did an absolutely awesome job. Les actually made it a lot easier to take photos he was very funny but also kept it very professional. He was very reasonable and we were pleased with everything from engagement photos to the end of the wedding reception photos. I highly recommend Les for all your photo needs. I can't wait until we start a family so that I can use Les again for baby photos :)

Les is simply the best! He did photography for every part of my wedding. The engagement session was amazing because he made Stephen and I feel so comfortable! It was like we were old friends after that. I could call him anytime with questions. He was also very professional. He respected the rules of the venue and was not ever a distraction to the guests (which I have experienced in other weddings myself.) I made a wedding book of all of the pics and have not stopped getting compliments on how great the photos are! He really captured the best parts of that day! He also did my bridal portraits prior to the wedding. I loved the venue he suggested for those. Les Atkins photography is simply the way to go if you want quality photos!

I've worked with Les the past couple of years. He's done family photos and then my wedding. He is amazing! Capturing the most precious moments of our day!! All the family loves it. So personable and gets to know the bride and groom.

Les was an absolute wonderful guy to have take our family photo's. He came directly on time. It was just beginning to rain. We got set up and it started to pour. I was thinking to myself what a disaster for our photo's. Not Les, he was so nice and not upset in the least. We waited as it showed it was to clear up in time. Les chatted with us all and calmly waited until it finally cleared. Yes, finally getting 20 of us for photo's was going to happen. Les went about getting us in order for different photo's and soon we were done. I was worried about a bad photo shoot and it turned out marvelous. Photo's were received today and they are all great, so now I've got a hard time to pick out which ones. Thank you, Les for such a wonderful photo shoot and Thank you for being so gracious and waiting for rain to stop. I would hire you to come to Florida if I needed. You are a super guy and your assistant also.

We had originally called les and set up dates for an April wedding, but an unexpected trip to Hawaii came up so we got married there instead. Les was very understanding and still worked out dates for an engagement/bridal session and a separate date for our reception. He has a great personality, was always on time, and was reasonably priced. He captured some amazing pictures and I am thankful that he was able to make room for us on such short notice.

Les was awesome! Priced right and very comfortable to be around. Stayed out of the way all night so that most people didn't even know he was there but he still got some amazing shots. We are very pleased with our selection!
