I had my wedding there on April 24, 2026 from the beginning when we first looked at the venue Terri was amazing. Treated us like family made us feel comfortable. She was there every step of the way any questions we had. She was there to answer them. I just felt like home and that’s why we choose this amazing place for our wedding. Extremely Happy!!!
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Lazaretto Ballroom and we were extremely pleased with the process, from beginning to end!
First and foremost, Terri was great! Her personality is awesome, she was informative, responsive, and flexible to the many changes I made along the way. With all the chaotic moments of planning a wedding, working with her was a breath of fresh air.
Then comes the value you get for your money! Having a large venue, decor, floral centerpieces, cake and catering, open bar, etc included in the price made things a breeze and the value for all of it was unmatched. Speaking of the catering, you get an abundance of food - by the time dinner was served, my guests weren't hungry because there was so much delicious food during cocktail hour!
Lastly, it is right near the water so lur photographer was able to take some beautiful pictures.
I highly recommend Lazaretto Ballroom if you're looking for a great experience!

Terri Wright and her team at the Lazaretto Ballroom are the absolute best choice if you are a bride and groom looking for a place to host your wedding reception in Delaware County. The Lazaretto is a hidden gem that comes with a fantastic team and some great food by Capozzoli catering. It is a beautiful ballroom with plenty of space, a bridal suite, huge bathrooms and a double bar. This team is prompt with responses to emails, are incredibly kind and helpful when it comes to planning, and make setting up and taking everything down a breeze. Terri and her team are the best coordinators and they really made our dream wedding come to life. We highly recommend and encourage you to host any weddings, showers, dances, balls, black tie events, and work luncheons here! We can't thank Terri and her team enough for their help making our wedding day so special!

Absolutely Stunning Venue & Exceptional Service!
First, let me just say the Lazaretto Ballroom is great, and working with Terri was hands down the best planning experience ever! The venue was amazing and she was incredibly informed, accommodating, and flexible - truly a pleasure to work with. I shared my vision and she was right by my side, helping me bring it to life. The bridal suite was modern and classy. The venue as a whole was clean and elegant, with ample parking and a warm, family-oriented atmosphere. The food was great, everyone loved my brunch menu, and the staff made everything run smoothly. I highly recommend this venue for weddings and all special events, we'll definitely be hosting more events here in the future!!

Terri and her team were very cultural sensitive, hardworking, flexible, and professional. They made my day a success. Tailoring every detail to my husband and I. With a 200 guest count and a traditional African background, they worked wonders! My guests couldn’t help but praise them on the food, drinks, clean facilities and warm staff reception. We had a great time and It was definitely more for our money .

This is the absolute best place to have a wedding, the wedding coordinator Terri is phenomenal.
There actually isn't enough that I can say about her! Terri was there every step of the way for us and I can honestly say if it wasn't for her I don't know if we would've picked it. I've always heard about the food so I wasn't concerned about that we just wanted someone who was genuine and completely honest and caring and 1000% that was Terri!
The ballroom is beautiful and the food is amazing!
All of our guests raved about the food from the appetizers to the meal itself. I cannot wait till I have another event just so I can go back there!

Beautiful Venue!! Excellent Food
Lazaretto Ballroom was the second place we looked at to have our wedding and right when we walked in we knew this was the place. Terri went above and beyond what we would have ever imaged when planning our special day. She absolutely made it easy for us in the few months leading up to our day. She made our “this is so overwhelming to plan” to “oh wow this is a fun experience”. The Venue is beautiful and plenty of room for our guest to enjoy their night. The food was amazing and so much to choose from. Our guest couldn’t say enough about all the food they had. The staff was truly amazing and made everything run smoothly. We couldn’t have picked a better place to say our I Do’s!! We will be talking about our experience here for years to come. My next celebration we know where we will be booking. Just phenomenal!! Thanks to all who made our day special and unique.

Amazing Experience!
First, I want to thank everyone at the Lazaretto Ballroom! This entire experience has been absolutely amazing! Ms. Terri made everything easy breezy. From the moment my husband & I met Terri we knew we chose the right venue! Terri is flexible with scheduling & very easy to work with. I brag to everyone I know about Lazaretto. Every time Terri & I had a meeting I’d tell her “I could stay here all day” The venue is clean, elegant & very family oriented. The food is absolutely delicious. My guest are still reminding me how good the food was! The bridal suite is very cute & classy, love that! The historical building across the street is where we took some of our pictures. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect!! We had a 5:00pm ceremony & it was so stunning. Being by the water helped that setting as well. Once it was time to pick up our decorations, everything was so organized & set up. Just like I gave them. My husband & I will remember this magical night for the rest of our lives. We walked away with not only the BEST venue in Pennsylvania, but FAMILY! We love & appreciate you guys so much

A hidden gem of a venue!!!
We tirelessly searched for a venue for 3 months. We couldn't find anything within budget that would give us all we wanted - until we found Lazaretto. My mom stumbled upon Lazaretto and we were hooked from the moment we walked in. Simple, yet elegant. Spacious and customizable to our needs. And Terri - the in-house wedding coordinator - was PHENOMENAL!!! She helped us in so many ways, and made sure to stay in constant contact with us to ensure our vision was realized. After a year of stress and planning, Lazaretto hosted the wedding of our dreams!

What a Gem!
We would give this venue 6 stars if we could Terri was the most talented event organizer we have ever worked with! she was on top of every detail and made the planning go so smoothly. Terri seemed to have someone on speed dial for just about everything her list of recommendations on vendors was truly remarkable we had absolutely no trouble finding quality vendors to make our day feel like it was out of a movie. Terri is excellent at what she does. From the moment we walked in the door, she makes you feel at ease and is great with communication- from start to finish. Her team did a phenomenal job at set up and clean up and the food is absolutely amazing!
Also the Bridal suite was very comfortable and perfect to get ready in, and a good place to retreat to if you wanted to step out for a few minutes almost like a VIP lounge. There was also plenty of parking and was extremely handicap accessible which was a huge relief for our older guests. Our family’s had such a wonderful time at our wedding and we can’t wait to celebrate again at the ball room Thank you Terri for everything!

This is the best decision for our wedding we could have ever made, in both mine and my husbands opinion. We just got married here on 5/4/24 and it was the best day of our lives. Not only is the venue spacious, it was made to look so beautiful on that day. As far as affordability, you can not beat it!! The food is fantastic and every one of the staff members are beyond helpful, ESPECIALLY Terri Wright the sales manager / coordinator of the venue. She's absolutely amazing and truly goes above and beyond. We are so grateful to her for everything she has done for us through the entire process. Terri was amazing and helped us from day one down to the final week. They accommodate so much for you-things I wasn’t even expecting. Terri was extremely responsive and so easy to work with
Everything went so smoothly and we were able to fully enjoy our day without stress. They let you know what the order of events are and get everything moving quickly so you’re able to enjoy your time.
The food was absolutely delicious everything was just beautiful. The included cake-and included centerpieces were great.

Our wedding day was so perfect and Terri at the Lazaretto made it possible. She brought every single vision we had to life. She made sure we were happy every single time something was done. The best Ballroom I've ever been to! Everyone there made me and my husband feel so special! My guest are still talking about how beautiful everything was, how AMAZING the food was and how smooth everything went. Big thanks to Terry for keepin my wild bunch in order to get down the isle! I wish I could have my wedding all over again! I live a few blocks away and didn't even know this place was here until a neighbor told us about them. RUN.. Don't walk :)
Run … don’t walk! My husband and I got married on 6/10/23 at The Lazaretto. IT WAS ABSOLUTLY PERFECT! In the start of our search for a venue, I emailed a bunch of potential venues. (Some were slow to get back, some were pushy, and only a handful were VERY responsive) The Lazaretto was one of the places that were very responsive. (It was also the first place we went and looked at) It was super easy to schedule a time to go look at the venue. We met Terri and she showed us around. She showed us our options for the onsite ceremony (indoor or outdoor) option, the ballroom, the bathrooms, the bridal suite, etc. She answered any questions we threw at her. My husband and I were super comfortable with Terri and the venue – so we didn’t look any further. Terri explained the process and what was included. As our wedding day was approaching, we met with Terri to go over the final details. I brought her all my day-of décor and she stored them for us until the big day. Fast forward to the day of! The day-of didn’t go as planned due to us girls running behind. We were originally planning on doing a first look followed by bridal party photos. Plan B approached quickly to where we were just going to do a first look. You can probably guess what’s next… Plan C! Plan C was to axe the first look and just meet at the altar. My husband was already at the venue, and he was communicating with Terri throughout the day with the change of plans. (And when I mean throughout the day, it was over the course of 2 hours. Plans changed quickly) And Terri went right along with it! She didn’t skip a beat. [As did our photographer – AMAZING!] Terri stayed throughout the cake-cutting and checked with us to make sure we didn’t need anything else. She made this process SEAMLESS! Oh! And let’s not forget about the staff and food! The staff was very attentive. They checked on my husband and I throughout the night, brought us drinks, and my guest even mentioned how friendly the staff was. The food – delicious! (Multiple guests talk about how delicious the food was!) I could go on and on with my review but was trying to keep it as short and sweet as possible without missing any details. To sum up my review… BOOK with the Lazaretto Ballroom. You will NOT be disappointed! -Happy Bride & Groom

My husband and I recently got married at the Lazaretto. I can't even begin to express how amazing it was. From the moment we step foot into the Lazaretto, we had a gut feeling this is the venue.. this is it. We sat down and spoke with Terri and her amazing personality sold us even more. She told us to go home, look at other venues, and then decide. We didn't look at ANY other venues because we knew in our hearts this was the right place for us. Between the planning being ridiculous easy because the Lazaretto basically does everything for you. It made it even better. All we had to do was call the Baker for cake tasting(which was included in the package) and call the Floral Shop for our centerpieces(also included in the package). We opted for the buffet style and OMG the food was AMAZiNG. We had roughly 160 people at our wedding and every single person came up to us telling us how great the food was. The venue was just gorgeous and the outside ceremony was perfect. I wish i could relive this day over and over again and all of our guests do, too! We got married 2 weeks ago and are still getting told over and over again how amazing our wedding was, and that people were at other weddings that didn't come close!!!! I wish i could get married (to my husband) every year here!!! Book this venue now or forever hold your peace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing and Memorable Experience
From start to finish, Lazaretto Ballroom was the ultimate in professionalism! Terri was so helpful in guiding us as we planned our wedding. She gave us wonderful tips and suggestions. We had a timing glitch on our wedding day and our guest arrived earlier than expected. The team at Lazaretto scrambled to get things ready so we could let the guest enter. The food was so delicious and plentiful! The servers were attentive and accommodating. The price per guest was really reasonable compared to the other venues we visited. Our guest raved about the quality and amount of food. Our cake and the floral arrangements were also included in the price. The floral arrangements by The Bouquet Shop were fresh and beautifully arranged. The cake from the Masters Baker, was included and absolutely beautiful and delicious. Terri, kept us on schedule! Terri also helped when I forgot the floral arrangement I wanted to present to my mother. She magically produced one so I could present it ti my mother. My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Lazaretto Ballroom team!

Couldn’t Imagine Anything Better!
Terri and her staff made our wedding day a breeze. I even used all of Terri’s recommendations for photographer, DJ, and florist. Everything went smoothly and was beautiful! The food was delicious and Terri was extremely accommodating for our food-allergy guests. My husband also requested to have chicken fingers and fries (he is a kid at heart) and Terri made sure that he got them! My guests said this was the best wedding they have been to in years and the attention detail made everything perfect! 10/10 would recommend having your wedding or any other event at the Lazaretto!

She was very professional, kind, patient and ensured all my questions were answered and that my wedding was exactly how my husband and I wanted it to be. Whenever I would contact her, she responded right away, which as a bride, helped ease my anxiety. As far as my wedding day, everything was EXCELLENT!! Terri and her team were prompt and professional. Everyone truly enjoyed the food and drinks!! The team was so attentuve to our needs!! I can’t say enough great things about this Ballroom. My daughters wedding reception was perfect . Food is so delicious, great price. Terri is so amazing the place is so beautiful but she makes it like every Hallmark Movie you
have ever seen and I told her that. She left no stone unturned. Terri is so professional but she makes you feel like you have known her for years . She makes you feel like it’s her daughter getting married and goes above and beyond anything you ask. She is professional but yet so down to earth easy to speak to make it your special day. She is always so easy to reach no waiting . Her communication was awesome. We looked at other venues but they are run like a business so serious like it’s rehearsed and reading from a booklet. Terri made sure everything was perfect and did it in such a way you felt like she was your friend . When panic set in Terri was right there and eased whatever it was. I had some stupid questions and she said no question is stupid. She sits with you goes through everything and we laughed so much. I didn’t want her to leave the wedding because she is so much fun . She is there all day and most of the night I don’t know how she does it and then her wonderful daughter Danielle steps in . Amazing from beginning to end !
When I started planning my wedding , I Instantly had a headache there was so much to do ! I reached out to Lazaretto and spoke to Ms.Terri who assured me she would take the stress away and handle it all & she did just that ! Our day was absolutely amazing
after our destination wedding being rescheduled twice then finally canceled we finally decided to get married closer to home. After much research we chose the Lazaretto Ballrooms for many reasons. The food was absolutely top notch, we received so many compliments and you can go for a tasting before your event so you can choose exactly what you'd like to have. Terri, who was our wedding coordinator from the Lazaretto, we can't even put into words how helpful and accommodating she was. She reminded us that it is OUR day and she truly went above and beyond to make us feel special on our wedding day. Book them, you won't regret it
I cannot thank Terri and her team enough for everything they did for our wedding day! We booked with them almost 4 years ago to the day. We knew they would make our dream day happen but we had no idea how above and beyond they would go to make it happen. We had to postpone due to Covid and Terri was there every step of the way. Responding to my emails within hours, answering every question I had (& there were many). Met with us multiple times to put my mind at ease. Terri even helped with a last minute, day before change we needed to make. I emailed her about it and within the hour she called me. She and her team took our vision and made it come to life. The staff is unbeatable. I can't tell you how many guests came up to us and said they're courteous and polite and ready to get us anything we requested. Also, shoutout to Greg who took care of my husband and I throughout the whole night! Now the food, oh my word the food. So good! Again our guests raved about the food. The appetizers were on point (arancini my personal favorite) and the seafood station we added our guests loved (Oysters, my husbands personal favorite). Our hot food was hot and our cold food was cold. The food is superb. From beginning to end it was the perfect day. Matt & I had no worries because we were in good hands. Thank you again Terri, Danielle and your team! We couldn't have done this without you!

Lazaretto Saved the Day
After having to reconsider venues due to COVID restrictions, the Lazaretto Ballroom came through and saved the day for us. Having booked with them only 3 months from our wedding date, they made everything from start to finish, the easiest process. They were flexible and understanding with us. They provided everything that we envisioned our day to be, and all of our guests had a great time. We had the BEST day and it was more than we ever imagined. If I had to do it all again, I would have chosen them from the start!

AMAZING. I can’t even put into words how glad I am I got married at this venue. I really can’t say enough about Terri. I knew this venue was the one we wanted as soon as we met Terri. She was amazing- super responsive and very easy to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process. She made the planning process so much easier and was so patient and understanding. If I started to feel stressed (especially those last 2 weeks) she helped ease it all. The food done by capozzoli catering was absolutely phenomenal. My guests and myself and my husband all RAVED about it and are still talking about how good the food was! The ballroom and ceremony were decorated more beautifully than I ever could have imagined with so much detail thanks to Terri and her staff. The staff was phenomenal and were all so nice. The bartenders were great! The dance floor was more perfect than I could have imagined. There were so many great spots to take pictures. All of my guests talked about how beautiful of a venue lazaretto was. It was TRULY the most perfect night and more than I could have dreamed of. I can’t say enough how happy I am to have had my wedding here.

Best Day Ever!
We already knew Capozzoli Catering had excellent food, but from the moment we met Terri we knew we had found our wedding venue at the lazaretto ballroom. Terri is just a wonderful human being. We instantly built a rapport and were very comfortable having her guide us through the wedding planning process. We wanted to stick to a budget, and she never made us feel bad about what we did and didn’t want. Terri is an excellent communicator and any questions we had were always answered by either a return phone call or an email within the same day. Our tasting evening was wonderful. We couldn’t believe the amount of food we got to try at the tasting. We met with Terri probably three or four times throughout our entire planning process and each time it felt like we were sitting down with an old friend. About a week before the wedding, we dropped off all of our day of items and we really didn’t even have a plan for all of our decor, we just knew that Terri was going to make everything look beautiful! When our wedding day finally arrived, everything was absolutely stunning. The ballroom looked gorgeous and all of the food was delicious. Terri and the team definitely executed down to the tiniest of details. our wedding timeline went off without a hitch and we were able to enjoy many hours of dancing. All of the staff were so friendly and service oriented. Most importantly our family and guests have given us so many compliments on the food, the ballroom, and the service. If you are looking for a beautiful ballroom with affordable prices, delicious food, and great service look no further, the Lazaretto Ballroom is simply amazing! Wonderful from start to finish!
When we started to plan our daughters wedding, during COVID shutdowns, we were worried we wouldn’t be able to have a reception. Terri, the manager of the Lazaretto Ballroom was so encouraging. She really put our minds at ease. She worked with us every step of the way!
The night of our tasting had to be rescheduled due to snow. The rescheduled date did not work for the bride and groom, so Terri had the caterers box up the dinners for us to taste at home. The food was delicious, even heated up the next day!
(How many places would do that?)
The fact that we didn’t have to shop around for the cake and centerpieces was a huge plus. These things were included.
We dropped off the special things we wanted at the reception 10 days prior, but we added to them even two days before the big event. Terri was not flustered by this at all, she was so accommodating. We did not have to worry about any kind of set up or decorating. The Lazaretto staff took care of it all.
We would definitely recommend and will use The Lazaretto Ballroom I. The future!

Nothing Stops Our Day
We were originally scheduled to get married July 18, 2020 but due to the shutdown we could not. Terri quickly helped us to postpone and secure a date for November 7, 2020. Terri helped us to navigate planning and having a wedding during these times every step of the way. Couldn’t Have Asked for More!
Lazaretto Ballroom exceeded my expectations. Due to COVID-19, there was so much unknown about whether or not we would even be able to have our event as planned. Unfortunately, we did have to reduce our guest count and take some additional precautions but the staff was amazing and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. It is truly a hidden gem! I was blown away when I walked into the ballroom and saw it set up on the day of our wedding. Terri is an ANGEL. She made sure to communicate with me every step of the way leading up to our big day and quelled my anxiety with her responsiveness and professionalism. She really took care of us during a crazy time and I couldn’t have asked for a better Coordinator. She was efficient, responsive, and so fun to work with—I could go on and on! Terri made us feel like family and I’ll forever be grateful that she was there for us for such a huge milestone. If you have any doubts about this place, rest assured that it is the right venue. The food was spectacular (even better than our tasting) and our guests raved about how delicious everything was as well as how organized and well put together our wedding ran. We visited a lot of venues and Lazaretto provides BY FAR the best bang for your buck. You won’t be disappointed!!

Best decision we made about the entire wedding was having the reception at the Lazaretto! Everything ran so smoothly, and Terri was with me the entire way. The Lazarretto Ballroom did a fabulous job on our wedding, both leading up the day and the day of. Terri and her staff are fantastic. Each meeting we had with Terri prior to the big day was amazing. The perfect spot for a wedding!
Our wedding was the absolute best because of the Lazaretto Ballroom. We are so lucky to have our wedding here!! Terri is an absolute angel! She worked with us for everything and was so understanding. Anytime I had a question she responded back in no time. Not once were we ever pestered for money or told that something was impossible. She has an answer for everything. She's a God-send!
Also the staff is wonderful too. They were so accommodating to us and our guests. One of our guest didn't feel well prior to the cocktail hour, and Terri actually let him lie down in her office until he felt better. Also a waiter went out of their way to get my nephew something different to eat at the reception.
The food is out of this world (were still hearing about it from our guests), the venue is large and the location couldn't be more convenient. Not to mention you won't find a more affordable place with the total package than the Lazaretto. We had our centerpieces, cake, bridal suite, food, bar, linens, chair covers, and taxes all included!
The food tasting was incredible and we even got to take so much home to enjoy again and again. All of the recommended vendors were also spectacular! We had our dream wedding thanks to the Lazaretto and to Terri! Would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you guys so much for making our day special! We love you guys!

Amazing Venue & Staff!
I stumbled upon the Lazaretto Ballroom while I was reviewing other wedding venues, and I'm so glad that I did. This Lazaretto Ballroom is such a hidden gem!! We weren't looking for venues outside of Bucks County until we saw this place. Once we toured this place and met with Terri and Michael (We arrived early and Michael was kind enough to tour us around a bit until Terri arrived) we knew we wanted to get married there. The Lazaretto Ballroom offers so much for their reasonable price - Flower centerpieces, a wedding cake, linens, chair covers, food tasting, open bar (with multiple beer choices). Terri, the wedding manager/coordinator, is truly wonderful. She was professional, always responsive, accommodating, down to earth and we never had to worry about anything. The staff for the day of the wedding and for the food tasting was nothing short of amazing. Everyone raved about how good the food was at our wedding (we had a buffet), how nice everything looked and how friendly and professional the staff was. I simply told them that the Lazaretto Ballroom did a phenomenal job setting everything up. We would 100% recommend this venue to others. Our cake was from Masters Baker and our centerpieces from Petals in the Park, both vendors that the Lazaretto Ballroom works with and both came out amazing and there were no issues! The venue was beautiful and the price and staff is what sold my husband and I on the venue.

This venue was amazing! Terri took care of everything and was very flexible. We planned our wedding from CT and she was able to work with us over the phone and email when we weren’t able to make it in. The food was amazing and everything was so affordable. This venue was an amazing venue!!! The food, the service, the lighting, the space was the visual of a dream wedding!! And Terri the wedding coordinator is AMAZING!!! She is a angel!!! She listened to my every concern, she satisfied my every need. Even down to the last minute before I walked down the aisle she was ready to make any and every mountain move for me!! As a bride she made it the most stress free experience!! I appreciate every staff member because they made me and my guest feel like family!! It's an amazing feeling when your guest walk away and said they even enjoyed the service and the food!! I would recommend this venue hands down and if I had to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing or the venue!! We had our wedding at Lazaretto on June 30th. Everything from the initial plans of having our wedding there to picking up our stuff a week later was amazing. It was one of the hottest days of the year, and the staff was so accommodating. Every time something was asked, the staff went above and beyond to help. Terri was top notch. She knows the business, and she does it well. She’s so calm and welcoming and is truly a kind spirit, and will help you out as much as she can. She is quick in responding to anything you need. And you don’t even need a day of coordinator because she does it all for you. I loved that everything was included in their package, and you didn’t get any “surprise” costs- everything from cake, linens, awning, and centerpieces. I truly recommend Lazaretto, because of their great prices, AMAZING food, and all around- they’re good at what they do, and they make it as easy as possible for you to just enjoy your day!

Honestly could not have picked a better place. Terri is amazing every step of the way. They are not there to make money or haggle you they truly want to make your wedding dreams a reality!! We are more than thankful for Terri and her staff, especially Danielle!

The Lazaretto was the perfect venue for our wedding! The food was amazing, the price was extremely reasonable, so much was included, y and Terri was great! She made sure everything was perfect for our day! I can’t say enough how perfect everything was! We didn’t have to worry about anything!

I just got married at the Lazaretto last Saturday , 3/10. We had our (indoor) ceremony & reception there. It couldn't of turned out better! The food was delicious , the staff was great, the décor was even more beautiful than we thought! ( our guests loved the selection & thought the room & décor were amazing.) Everyone had a great time!! My husband & I , our bridal party & all of our guests.) I would HIGHLY recommend the Lazaretto Ballroom for all of your special events! With that being said , I know that it wouldn't have been even close to what it was if not for the WONDERFUL sales manager & director, Terri Wright. She was amazing. Terri made my husband & I feel like we were her only clients. She is not only professional , but she is caring ,helpful and is totally soothing & reassuring to all the woman ( and men) who have " wedding brain". And the personality on her , that alone is 5 stars!! From the time my husband & I sat down in her office for our first consultation ,to how she treated & took care of myself & bridesmaids in the wedding suite , straight through to our reception. Terri was with us every step of the way. I absolutely think Terri Wright is the BEST! In closing I think the Lazaretto Ballroom is fantastic & Terri Wright is WONDERFUL!!

It has been two Months since Nate and I had our reception at the Lazaretto. The amount of blood,sweat,tears and hot glue burns are countless! I am still making my way around with catching up after our stunning magical night. I look back on all our pictures and wish I could live it over and over again. If you are looking for an out standing staff, amazing food, and that go to lady when you are about to melt down, Terri and the Lazaretto Ballroom is your place! Terri had me from to moment I walked in the doors. We had been to countless places before our meeting at the Laz. The second I walked in the doors Terri greeted us and without me even speaking a word she said " I want your guests to feel like the ballroom screams this is Heather and Nate" I was looking for something beyond that cookie cutter wedding. I wanted to have free range creativity and for the room to really reflect who we are as a couple. The day came and when I walked into the Laz my jaw almost hit the floor! It was stunning and beyond anything any Bride could ever dream of. The staff goes above and beyond and the food was out of this world amazing. Terri managed to please the biggest critic ( MY DAD) and trust me that speaks volumes! The continuous compliments on the evening even two months down the road just goes to show how magical this night was. The ballroom screamed romance and elegance ( which was exactly my intentions), and the food was out of this world! My advice to any couple looking for that perfect wedding venue, The Laz is the place to go. I can't wait for future events with my husband the Lazaretto is our new go to!

Lazaretto is a fantastic venue--a hidden gem in Delaware County. From the moment Terri offered to stay late in the evening to meet with us last minute, to the reasonable price (with cake, linens, tons of food, open bar, and centerpieces all included!), to the advice and support Terri and the staff provided, it was a perfect place for our wedding. We can't recommend their professionalism and dedication to making your day perfect enough. We are so, so glad we went with Lazaretto to host us--they really went the extra mile.

There are not enough words to explain the Lazaretto Ballroom, and Terri herself. I could not be more grateful that we chose this venue for our wedding day! The venue itself looked absolutely beautiful, the food was outstanding and the staff was so attentive and even anticipated our every need. Terri from day one felt like a member of the family, some days we discussed specific details for the venue and wedding other days she was just my therapist and shoulder to lean on. I will definitely keep the Lazaretto in my heart forever and be back for more events in the future.

The Lazaretto Ballroom was our first pick for a wedding venue and we are so glad we did! Terri was so responsive and easy to work with. She really communicates with you to make sure the big day will run smoothly. My husband and I did not have a single complaint from our wedding day, or the process leading up to it working with coordinator Terri Wright. She was always responsive when I had a question, and she made sure our wedding reflected exactly what we wanted. The room looked beautiful, the food was delicious, everything went smoothly and on schedule. And every member of the staff was friendly and attentive. We could not have asked for a better experience. And the value is unmatched... no other venue would have provided what the Lazaretto did at the same price.

The Lazaretto is a hidden gem! The value for the price was amazing. All other places we looked at, could not include an open bar, cake, center pieces and a bridal suite for an extremely reasonable price. However, the best thing about the Lazaretto is their Event Manager, Terri Wright. She made the entire process so easy and stress free. She was accomodating, knowledgable, genuinely concerned with our happiness, and an all around amazing person to work with. She made sure every detail of our special day was exactly what we wanted and we could enjoy our wedding, not bogged down with details. I could not have asked for more. Thank you very very much, Terri!

Lazaretto Ballroom is the perfect place to celebrate any occasion! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and Terri and her staff could not have been more accommodating! Any question, concern or request we had, Terri was receptive and made it happen for us. She took all the stress of wedding planning away so that we could simply enjoy our day. The decor was perfect and the staff took the liberty to embellish our vision making it extra special. The food was beyond our expectation and nobody left hungry! My husband & I had our wedding reception at the Lazaretto this past October. There are not enough positive things to be said about this place! From the very moment we met with Terri to the very end of our wedding night, it was nothing but an easy & organized experience! I had questions upon questions, Terri was always quick to give me a response & some great advice - even if I was being a pain! The staff - kitchen, wait, bartenders and so on were all nothing short of great, there was always soneone there to help us if needed! Their food is phenomenal!!! Everything with the linens came together wonderfully. All of my added decor I brought in was set up exactly how I wanted it. I could go on about the perfect wedding reception we had at the Lazaretto Ballroom. The bakery they use (Masters Baker) was delicious & made our cake perfect! Event packages are extremely reasonable & include more than most places in the area! I would recommend having your wedding reception here anytime of the year! My wife and I had our wedding at the Lazaretto Ballroom September 16, 2016. From our initial consultation and through the wedding Terri was very helpful and responsive to questions and concerns we had. We actually stopped in on a whim without an appointment after viewing another venue in the area and Terri was able to show us the facility. We were able to secure a wedding date and book the outdoor patio for the wedding ceremony which was something we were looking to do, a wedding/reception at the same location.
The day of the wedding the linen colors, decorations, and other details we outlined in the meeting with Terri a week prior looked great! I was really surprised at how great the facility looked, and how our decorations were set-up. It turned out way better than I had imagined. Additionally, the food, atmosphere, and overall hospitality exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend the Lazaretto Ballroom to anyone looking for a great venue!

I got married here this past October 29th. What an incredible and amazing experience! The staff is so helpful, especially Terri the event coordinator. Terri was absolutely AMAZING to work with and definitely talked me off the edge a few times near the end, as we all know wedding planning can become stressful especially the last month. If you are looking for an all-inclusive venue, Lazaretto is your facility. My husband and I were married 10/1/16 and had our reception at this beautiful ballroom. Terri, the sales manager is amazing to work with. She made everything stress & hassle free. Capozzoli's Catering kept everyone satisfied with their generous selections and helpings of ultra-delicious food. Not a complaint from anyone the whole night or thereafter. The venue has gorgeous decor, lighting and is very clean and accomodating. I'm actually looking for new reasons to have parties at the Laz to be able to work with Terri and the Capozzoli crew again in the near future! Class- Act business. A+ service. What a pleasure to work with Lazaretto!

She was the best to work with and they are VERY lucky to have her! The food was phenomenal! We could not have asked for a better venue to have our reception at! VERY reasonably priced as well! A very nice perk as well is ALL taxes and fees are included in the per person price! That was a huge benefit in our opinion! All of our guests raved about the food and our "signature drink" that we had (sangria). You cannot go wrong booking with the Lazaretto! We HIGHLY recommend them AND Terri Wright!

We were so lost in the beginning of planning our wedding. Lots of where's, when's and how's. That all disappeared when we first checked out the Lazaretto Ballroom. Teri was amazing. She took our hands and led us through the most important, but stressful time in our lives together. I don't know how we would've made it to the alter without her. She always calmed me down with her amazing words of wisdom and comfort when I felt overwhelmed, (there's a lot of those times during wedding planning), and after speaking with her, I was always at ease. Everything was perfect, exactly how she said it would be. The Lazaretto is not just a beautiful ballroom, but it has an amazing staff who have so much pride in themselves and their work that it was like being surrounded by family. I would highly recommend the Lazaretto Ballroom to everyone looking for somewhere to celebrate any special occasion. Thank you to everyone at the Lazaretto, you made our day more perfect than we ever thought it could ever be :)

When I was looking for a venue for my wedding I always knew even before looking at the Lazaretto that I wanted to have it there. It was the last placed I looked and I literally live across the street from there. I saw really nice places but I fell in love with the Lazaretto mostly because of Terri Wright. She is AMAZING!!!! We were very lucky to have her a part of our big day! She made everything run smooth and she is just an AMAZING person all the way around. The food is out of this world, staff is friendly and always making sure everything is perfect for you. I had a few last minute mishaps and they made everything work with a smile on their face. I can go on and on and on about the Lazaretto, the food, the staff and Terri. I plan on having my daughter's Sweet 16 and my parents 50th Anniversary at the Lazaretto as well. You really need to check it our and see Terri. She will blow you away!

This venue is AMAZING for weddings, parties and banquets !! My husband and I got married and had our reception here in 2013 and can I just say I was amazed at everything they offered. The staff was so awesome!! They really go all out to make your day so special. The food was perfect!! No complaints what so ever !!! I've been to multiple weddings here after mine including my best friends wedding and my sisters and every time I'm impressed. It's also reasonably priced for the amount of stuff included!! I cannot thank everyone at the lazaretto ballroom enough for the amazing work they do. I HIGHLY recommend this venue for ANY party you will be hosting.

If you want a worry-free day and no detail left undone, then we would recommend the Lazaretto Ballroom! Our wedding was a bit unique, in that we had a "surprise wedding". Our guests thought they were coming to a surprise birthday party, but they were the ones who were getting the surprise! Not one of our family members or even our closest friends had an inkling they were coming to a wedding- (not even our matrons of honor and our best man)! We basically eloped with all of our friends and family! Now, to execute a plan of this magnitude meant that all the planning had to be done by my husband and myself without ANY outside help. Not a problem for most things, but we needed an "accomplice" to help with the 'day of' stuff. Leave it to superwoman Terri Wright and the fabulous Lazaretto staff to the rescue! Terri and the Lazaretto staff work hard to make sure that everything down to the tiniest detail is taken care of so you can enjoy your special day. Without Terri's organizational skills and attention, I would have been stressed and worried and our event would not have been as wonderful as it was. (We were married in June 2013 and people still talk about what an awesome event this was! ) We felt confident in leaving our details in capable hands.
Our guests loved the beautiful venue and raved about the food, which is no surprise, because Capozzoli catering is top notch. In fact, we had several guests from Maryland and one guest who grew up on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, and they LOVED the crab cakes, which is high praise, indeed!
We want to especially commend the Lazaretto wait staff and bartenders, who were so wonderful. They worked so very hard, were there when you needed them, yet they were unobtrusive. Karen was terrific in keeping our event moving along and making sure that we had everything we needed, without our ever having to ask for anything. Everyone was truly professional and on top of everything. They definitely EXCEEDED our expectations!

Terri was an absolute pleasure to work with and she made sure that our wedding day vision came to life! The day itself was perfect, she took care of little bumps in the road without making a big deal. We had our ceremony inside the ballroom because our wedding was in January. The room turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined! The staff were great and were able to "flip" the room quickly so the cocktail hour and reception could follow without a large wait time for our guests. I would recommend Terri and the Lazaretto ballroom to anyone! They are all awesome and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding day!

We can't say enough about our experience with Terri and the Lazaretto Ballrooms Staff. Throughout the planning process, Terri was incredibly organized, flexible, creative, and a wonderful person. She is absolutely phenomenal!!!
Terri helped to alleviate any additional stress leading up to the wedding by providing helpful tips and resources that kept me and my husband on track for our big day. She took the reigns on our rehearsal day and made sure all of our attendants (and little ones!) knew exactly what they were doing, and made it fun and enjoyable throughout. On our wedding day, I knew I had absolutely nothing to stress about because Terri and her team were on it. Every little detail, every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a better planner, and am so grateful that we picked Terri and the Lazaretto staff to help us throughout our wedding planning.
We are soooo grateful for everything they did. We couldn't have chosen a better venue! Thank you a million times over for all your efforts and hard work. My event is one that will be talked about for years to come and we owe it all to you! Our wedding came out better than we could have ever imagined. We were complimented on every detail from the décor, to the food, the music, the flowers, etc. Everything came out perfect!
To sum it up, Terri is phenomenal!!!

After looking at various locations in the city for an outdoor space for our dream wedding, we found The Lazaretto Ballroom. We instantly feel in love with the space. It had everything we were looking for and for such a reasonable price! The patio at The Lazaretto made for a beautiful, intimate ceremony while the ballroom was very spacious and nothing short of amazing. The food was outstanding! So good that we continue to use Capozzoli Catering for all of our parties. What makes this place so amazing is the staff. From the moment we looked at The Lazaretto and met with Terri, their Sales Manager, we knew we were in good hands. She made what was thought to be a very stressful planning time extremely easy and enjoyable. Any questions we had she answered in a timely manner with experience and confidence. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and with thanks to The Lazaretto Ballroom!

After looking at numerous places for months, I knew financially the wedding of my dreams was impossible....until I met Terri. She listened to our story and was pafient, compassionate, and kind! All my worries disappeared when Terri spoke, she was like a fairy godmother on my side. No detail was too big or too small. My outdoor ceremony on the patio was beautiful. The historical grounds make for beautiful wedding portraits along with the park and water background! No need to leave for pics, it is a one stop shop! My girls and I even dressed in the bridal suite and were catered to from the moment we arrived! I brought all of my decor a few days before and it was displayed with expertise! The room was spectacular, the food was delicious...the crab cakes are delicious! All my family and friends raved about the food and bar drinks! The time really Flys when you are having fun and I was told to take a few minutes alone with my new husband to "take it all in". It was the best advise I could get and I will never forget the hospitality shown by all the staff at Lazeretto! So thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We had our wedding here September 2015 and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our choice! The entire staff is wonder and the place is beautiful, from the outdoor ceremony to the reception. We had our wedding ceremony and reception and the lazaretto Ballroom . It was perfect and everything was the way I imagined it would be. The staff was amazing. They all made sure that my wedding day was special. The food and service was great. We had so many compliments from our guest about the food and how beautifully decorated the ballroom was. . The dessert bar that we had was the best. The wedding coordinator worked close with me to make sure that they did everything possible to make my wedding day magical.

Our reception was nothing less than perfect thanks to Terri Wright(sales manager) and the entire capozzoli catering team. The food, the service and the scenery was absolutely phenomenal. We could not be more thankful for everything that they have done and provided us with to make our special day unforgettable. I would recommend this team to anyone for all occasions. The value is unbeatable and their quality of service is untouchable. I can not wait to work with them again in the future!

The moment that we met with the sales manager (Terri Wright) we instantly knew that this was the perfect place for us. She is the most pleasurable person to work with and was there for any questions or concerns every step of the way. The Lazarettto team truly goes above and beyond for their clients I could not imagine anyone ever walking away unhappy. I have seen many photos as well as attended many events at this location and everything always looked so beautiful but when we walked into that ballroom they truly out did themselves the view was absolutely breathtaking. We are still getting compliments from our guest in regards to the scenery and the amazing food. We had 100% satisfaction we everything that they provided for us and will be forever grateful for the amazing memories that they provided us with. I would recommend everyone to at least try this venue at least once regardless of the occasion, I guarantee once you taste their food you will not be able to stay away. I can not wait to work with them again for future events.

We knew from the very first moment we stepped foot in the Lazaretto Ballroom that this was going to be where we wanted our Wedding Reception. My husband could not be more pleased with our reception. It was everything and MORE than we expected! Terri is awesome and makes sure that all of your needs are attended to. We had a blast and were very overwhelmed with how beautiful and Perfect our reception looked. You get a lot in the packages for a very reasonable price. It is a month later and I am still hearing from our guests how much fun they had and how beautiful the reception and everything was! My husband and I would highly recommend the Lazaretto Ballroom to everyone! Especially if you want to have a night to remember for the rest of your life!!

I'am so glad My husband and I picked this venue for our wedding day everyone was so pleasant and helpful espically Terri she went all out of her way to make my day very special. The day of my wedding I forgot both of my garters and Terri went all out of her way to sew me a throw away garter real quick and I was so thankful she did that for me. I would recommend this venue to anyone because this was a very helpful place and will do anything to make your wedding as special as possible. It rained on my wedding day and I couldn't have my wedding outside and I was very upset because my whole dream was having a outside wedding and it winded up pouring on my wedding day but the way everyone and Terri at the Lazaretto decorated the ballroom inside was like a fairy tale they did such a excellent job making the whole room look absolutely gorgeous. If anyone is looking for a venue for their wedding day I will recommend you pick Lazaretto they will make your wedding day everything you dreamed of.
