Best hire!

Christine and Lavish were recommended to me by a friend at work. She said her sister was a wedding planner and created beautiful weddings. She was not wrong! I am so impressed by Christine and her team. My husband and I were engaged for over a year and Gabriela took care of us in the beginning from getting a vision board together, a color palette selected, and an overall concept/theme put together. They recommended different vendors and were realist about setting a budget. I originally found their online aisle planner website difficult and hard to navigate at first and learned to really appreciate it down the road. It wasn't that it was hard to navigate more than I didn't take the time to explore all the different features. It was a life saver for me and later turned into my wedding bible because it housed all my vendor information, payment schedules, important dates, seating chart, checklists, and more.

Fast forward to the month before the wedding. Christine was amazing and set up all our final vendor meetings, etc. she made sure all the vendors talked to each other and coordinated everything with the hotel. She took care of all the vendor logistics, COI, etc. Which at the time, I didn't realize was a lot. She was crucial in selecting our decor and creating the timeline.

The day of the wedding comes and Christine was there bright and early setting everything up. We had an attendant, Tiffany, assigned to the bridesmaids, another one dedicated to the groomsmen, Christine setting up in the reception hall, and later, Diana, a runner and they all were amazing! They were there the entire time of us getting ready and making sure we could connect with Christine as she handled the vendors coming in. They made sure we were taken care of, checked in, and never left. Diana was also a life saver and had my shoes ready for me to change into after all the photos. I could go on for days and never capture how much Christine and her team truly helped us. They helped set up, tear down, managed my family and guests, managed all the vendors, and handled all the melt downs. They were the absolute best hire!

I am truly impressed and am forever grateful to Christine and her team. I 100% recommend Lavish & Co. for any wedding. They were truly amazing and went above and beyond, exceeded all expectations. My husband and I are not the easiest people and I know that. But, Christine and her team were so gracious and accommodating throughout the whole process. I have no complaints. Thank you Lavish for making my wedding a beautiful dream come true!

If you're looking for a wedding planner, look no further...

Hiring Christine and the Lavish team was the best decision we could make for our wedding weekend. It was like hiring a friend who knew all the ins and outs of the wedding industry. She listened to our unique vision and creatively designed such an immaculate wedding that was beyond what we have ever dreamed about. She recommended the best vendors from florals, makeup, invitations, photography, DJ, caterers, and more. She was incredibly gracious and worked tirelessly when COVID delayed our wedding and found vendors to replace quickly when our venue/date changed. She was always such a calming presence that always offered her time and solutions to any problems that arose. The day of the wedding went smoothly because of their professionalism and close eye for detail. We each had a groom and bridal assistant. My bridal assistant Katey was AMAZING, she made sure I was arriving on time with where I needed to be, had water and food ready, she even had an emergency kit on hand when I had a dress malfunction. We could not have asked for a better team to create such a luxurious experience for ourselves and our wedding guests. We are going to miss the weekly emails and phone calls with Christine, Gabriela, and Nadia. If you want an elevated and unique wedding, Lavish is THE wedding team you never knew you needed until now. Beautiful Oceanview Wedding

Christine and her team at Lavish Weddings were amazing. My husband and I live on the east coast, so we purchased the full-service package which was perfect for us. Planning a wedding during COVID is no easy task but Christine made it seem effortless. On top of planning during a pandemic, we had a few additional hiccups leading up to the big day. I didn’t have a dress less than 3 months before the wedding, Christine put me at ease and referred me to an amazing designer. The week before the wedding, my husband decided he wanted to rent an exotic car at the last minute and Christine went above and beyond to find him the perfect one. Our wedding was June 2021 and it was executed flawlessly, our friends are still raving about it. We also worked with Lavish Travels for our honeymoon to the Maldives which was spectacular.
Don’t look any further, just hire Lavish.

The best wedding planner

This review is such a long time coming! We got married March 2021 and could not have asked for a better wedding planner! From the beginning of our planning process in 2019, Christine was absolutely incredible.

We used Lavish for the full service planning, and were in contact with Christine from the very beginning of our engagement. I knew that I wanted a “Christine-planned wedding” as every photo from weddings she has planned were just so above and beyond. She walked us through every step of the way and met with vendors for us. Considering we live across the country, this was SO helpful and kept my stress down during the planning.

Even with COVID restrictions, my husband and I were determined that we were still going to have our dream wedding, on the date that we wanted. Even though logistically, a lot had to change, Christine kept our heads up and always had a plan B. For example, we had our first caterer go out of business and the second caterer not able to provide services due to their own covid restrictions. Before telling us the bad news, Christine would already have another option vetted, in our budget, and ready to go.

We ended up getting married at my parent’s house - Something I never envisioned could be my dream wedding. Christine. worked. magic. We were shocked at the transformation and what we were able to do! Looking back, it was the perfect venue all along- just needed Christine’s vision.

I cannot stress this enough - hire Lavish weddings and Christine to plan your wedding. It will be the best decision you make.

Can't recommend Lavish enough!

This review is long overdue (pre-pandemic) but had to say that Christine, Gabriela, and the rest of the Lavish team did such an amazing job making sure our entire wedding weekend went seamlessly and we still receive so many compliments about how beautiful and well-thought-out everything was. The event coordinator at our venue moved on to a new position about a month before our wedding but I never had to worry (even being on the opposite coast) because Christine and team double checked all the contracts and ensured nothing was missed. Throughout the whole process she always professional, organized, responsive, and had great suggestions/advice. My mom was also very impressed by her knowledge of Indian weddings and customs! Can't recommend her enough!

Hire them!

Lavish made our day absolutely perfect. They were always responsive in communication and really made our wedding day the BEST DAY EVER. The whole lavish team goes above and beyond. We can't thank them enough. Looking back we feel hiring Lavish weddings was the best thing we did. Christine, Jacob, Gabriella, and Jessica were the best coordinators we could dream of. Our day flowed smoothly and we felt absolutely zero stress on the day of our wedding. The team was there to help with everything. I don't think my train would have been bustled with out their help ;) They are top notch and go above and beyond with customer service.

"There was truly never a question as to whether or not I would hire a wedding coordinator - it was only a question whether or not Lavish Weddings would accept the job!"
As a bride who is also a Director of Catering at a major resort, I can see what true talent and passionate commitment look like. Christine gained my trust through her outstanding organizational and design skills, but more importantly, she kept my trust with her gracefulness, positive attitude, and persistent composure.
Christine was not only a calming force throughout my planning process, but she also was an excellent advisor and a consummate professional. She helped me design a wedding that I didn't even know was possible! You can't put a monetary value on what she brings to the table- the memories she helped create are priceless.

I can't say enough amazing things about Christine! We came to her stressed about hosting a multi-event, back-to-back South Asian / Ismaili Muslim destination wedding. She handled the coordination and execution of all of the events with so much grace! She is the ultimate sweetheart and #girlboss. She won our love and trust the moment she joined our wedding! I no longer had to stress about all of the little details being thousands of miles away because I knew she was working her magic to make miracles happen for us behind-the-scenes. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness in every decision made us grow more fond of her and her work. Christine was able to share our vision so eloquently with our multiple vendors that our weekend ended up exactly as we had imagined it! After the events, we had guests coming up to us telling us how amazing and respectful our wedding coordinator was. We still talk about how wonderful Christine was to work with. I can’t say enough good things about Christine and her team at Lavish Weddings- the most important thing you need to know is that all of the 5-star reviews she has earned are completely on point. Here are some things that stood out to me in my experience working with her.
1) Versatility- The thing that immediately stood out to me about Christine’s work was the variety of styles I saw represented in her pictures. While some planners obviously had a specific “look” they always gave their clients I could see that Christine was an expert in all different kinds of looks. She was fantastic at lending her expertise to exactly what I wanted. Christine facilitates your vision- she doesn’t take it over for herself.
2) Dedication to service- I could always count on prompt replies from Christine. We had numerous conversations leading up to the day talking about the “checklist” and what she needed from me. I never felt like I was lost in the planning or forgetting something important. On the actual day of the wedding Christine and her team went way above and beyond. I came down with food poisoning the morning of and Christine not only found a doctor for me but also shifted the timeline to accommodate my illness (and still get me to the church on time, so to speak!). Once the medicine kicked in I didn’t have to worry about anything.
3) Creativity- Christine added so many amazing touches to our décor and guest experience that I never would have thought of. Some of my favorites included a red carpet where guests could get their pictures taken, larger than life poppies that adorned our escort table (we had a bit of a Wizard of Oz them going), and a personalized door tag for our guests on the night of our wedding.
Christine made the planning process as painless as it could be and had a stellar lineup of vendors to choose from. She is a delight to work with and will help you create the wedding of your dreams. I would recommend her 1000 times over.

I have been married for three months as of today, and everyday I find myself thinking about how truly lucky I am to be married to the love of my life, but also to have had such a fairytale wedding. When I look at our wedding pictures I feel blessed, they take my breathe away.

I have struggled to find words that are powerful enough to convey how amazing it was working with Christine and Lux. I am a perfectionist, and I cannot image a more perfect day. They deserve all the credit, and truly are the best in the business.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Christine years ago, right about the time her eye and passion for weddings began to blossom. I followed Lavish Wed on every realm of Social Media and *heart-eyed-emoji"-ed just about everything I saw. I would read the reviews people would write, and think "of course, Christine is killing it. This was her calling!" Then, I got engaged... My first email to any vendor was to Christine with a subject line "we FINALLY get to work together again!!!" I think my excitement to work with her again was comparable to getting engaged... Okay, maaaaybe a close second, but still. ;) I knew Christine was my first and only call for my day.

We went through the planning process and Christine never missed a beat. She remembered details even I forgot, and organized everything in a way that made the process super bearable. By the end of wedding planning, she took the full reigns and I could not imagine trying to operate that day without the help of her team. She had herself, Dawn and Annie on site with us, and I never felt like I had to worry about timing or if something was set up, or where my champagne glass was.

Looking back at it, the reason everything went so well is that Christine and her team handled the day as if it was their own. They have an eye for design and detail, a calming demeanor that is imperative for the craziness that is anyone's family on a wedding day, and organization that cannot be beat. There is honestly no one else I would have trusted my day with, and everything went perfect! Thank you so much Christine!!

Christine is a STELLAR wedding planner!!! I cannot begin to express how appreciative I am for her incredible services, delightful energy, sweet demeanor and impeccable organization.

I personally interviewed five other San Diego wedding planners before choosing one and I know first hand that Christine / Lavish Wed is by far the BEST team San Diego has to offer!! If you're planning a wedding/ event in San Diego, Lavish has an incredible team, outstanding vendors they work with (at a discounted prices too!) and an amazing reputation!! Christine planned & did the design for my wedding from start to finish and I worked with her for my year and a half engagement to make the perfect day..... and it was PERFECT.
Every text message, picture, email and conversation I have had since my wedding has included the word "perfect" in describing our big day. Everyone was blown away by her flawless execution. As a virgo bride, I had trouble of letting go of the reigns.... but handing them over to Christine was a no brainer. She managed every hiccup and bump in the road and put my wild wedding brain at ease. She and her staff did an outstanding job!!! Seriously.... outstanding!!!

I have referred Lavish Wed to all of my family and friends and my aunt & uncle recently had thier wedding coordinated by Lavish as well and it too was impeccable!!! We hired Christine from Lavish Wed for partial planning and design planning for our wedding last month. We can’t thank Christine enough for everything she did for us!! We worked with her for about 10 months planning our dream wedding, and it truly was that for us! We got married at Scripps Seaside Forum, and had to bring in 20 different vendors! That is a lot to handle, but everything was flawless on the big day. She is an expert at everything, and really is the sweetest person who will go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy! She is super friendly and easy to work with. She listened to everything we wanted, and was always available to answer questions and get things done fast. She would respond to texts or emails very quickly, which we loved. We met with her many times during the planning process, and she was always very professional and had great taste for all the design details. Even though we hired her for only partial planning, she pretty much helped us with every aspect of planning. We brought her countless photos from magazines and Pinterest, and she was able to find exactly the right vendors or design items we wanted. Her connections are great too, and she suggested the best vendors for our romantic/garden/vintage/glam theme. We would highly recommend her and her assistants to any of our friends and family. They are truly amazing and will make your wedding as stress free as possible! We loved how organized she is, and the day of the wedding flowed so smoothly. We only wish it didn’t fly by so fast! Don’t hesitate to hire them; it was the best decision we made!!

Choosing Christine and the Lavish weddings team was probably one of the best decisions we made in our entire wedding planning process. Prior to meeting Christine, we interviewed a few other wedding coordinators, but Christine's sweet demeanor, level of professionalism, and style far surpassed all the others. Throughout the planning process Christine answered emails quickly, had great suggestions for event details, was always punctual, followed up with vendors, created and implemented a perfect timeline, and so much more! It was truly a blessing working with her and Leila on the actual wedding day. Everything went so smoothly from ceremony to reception to after party. The day was fun and just as importantly stress-free! It was the best day of my life and it couldn't have been possible without Christine's help :)

I'm the biggest procrastinator ever! Like how I've been putting off this review since July. That's the main reason why I decided to hire a wedding planner, knowing damn well I will put everything off till the last minute. I was referred to Lavish wedding by a friend and made an appointment to meet with Christine (owner/wedding planner) and her team. I automatically loved Christine from the start. You can just tell by her personality, how genuine and down to earth she is. We went over all the packages that they offered and decided to go with the platinum, which covers everything and is worth every penny! We had our wedding back in late July and from the start of the planning to the end, it was the easiest process ever, thanks to Christine. Christine was there by my side through the whole process. She answered all my millionth of questions and she always responded back to me via phone or email promptly. When our wedding day finally came, everything was perfect. Everything I envisioned for our wedding day was brought to life and all with the help of Christine and her team. It was seriously the best day ever! If you're a bride that wants the wedding of her dreams and not have the stress that comes along with planning, please do yourself a favor and hire the Lavish wedding team. It was the best investment I've ever made and I can't thank them enough for making our day so special.

Christine and Chelsea of Lavish weddings coordinated our 09/27/2015 wedding. We hired them for day of/month of services but Christine helped me with any questions or special requests even before our official month-of services began! Christine and Chelsea were so sweet and had such a calm demeanor, so important for brides that are a nervous wreck!
Some our our guests told us that they have never seen a wedding so well planned and go off without a hitch! I have family in the catering/wedding business and they also mentioned how they have never seen such a well coordinated event. Christine and Chelsea helped our D.J. with the timing of everything which made a huge difference as well. Lavish Weddings also provides many other services such as linen rental, decor ect. The items they have are gorgeous!
My now husband was a self-proclaimed wedding coordinator skeptic. He did not understand why we needed someone to help us when we had successfully planned most of the wedding ourselves. On the night of our wedding, Christine was helping us bring all our wedding accessories to our hotel room and my husband told Christine "I was skeptical but you guys were the best decision we made".
Lavish Weddings are very well-priced for the services they provide. When doing my research, there were slightly less-expensive wedding coordinators with much less experience.....and it definitely showed. If you are looking for a reliable, experienced, patient, friendly wedding coordinator....look no further!

Christine was amazing to work with and she had ALOT to deal with. I ended up having two wedding coordinators because my catering company gave me a coordinator. I didn't think I needed two but it was well worth the money to have Christine as one of my wedding planners. The month of my wedding, I was panicking because my guest list grew to more than 200 people. Every time I spoke to Christine she calmed my fears and helped me stay on track and stay focused. When I couldn't find a large mirror to put the seating chart on, she offered to let me borrow hers. When I needed an extra easel for welcoming sign, she brought that in for me. When I needed to do a dress change for the reception, she even helped me put on the dress! She is a true professional and I would recommend her to anyone planning for their big day. Love her! She truly made my wedding perfect!

Christine was amazing! We began working with Christine for our June wedding in October and she promptly answered and addressed all of my questions throughout the wedding planning. On the day of our wedding, she was on the ball for everything and ensured everything looked beautiful. I'm very Type A and worried that tables wouldn't be set up the exact way I wanted them to be but Christine successfully carried out my vision. I don't know where to begin to express my appreciation for these ladies. Val, Christine and their team are just amazing. I got married on June 13th, with my ceremony at the Westin and my reception at the Luce Loft. We decided on getting the month of package and Val was on it from day 1. She was there for the walk through, rehearsal and for anything I needed. With my 2 locations, her and her team we're at both locations getting everything set up to exactly how I wanted it. Christine and her team are AMAZING! We hired Lavish Wed for month of coordinator for our May 9th wedding in San Diego and it was by far one of the best decisions we made. Valeria was our lead coordinator and she was an absolute blessing!! I don't know how I could have handled the last weeks/days before the wedding without her. Both her and Christine were always there to answer any question or concern I had! They both accompanied me to the final meeting for our reception venue, they were so organized and professional and made sure every question was answered and kept note of all the details. We had a slight issue with other vendors because our reception was held at a military base, and Christine went above and beyond to try and make sure we would have everything set up. We were so thankful for that!

Val was the first person from Christine's team that I got into contact with when I was just looking for an inquiry. From just our first interaction I could tell how much of a sweet and kind person she was. We were so blessed to have her as our lead. I had complete faith and trust in her that she would execute the wedding without a problem and that's exactly what she did! We are so appreciative of all the hard work that Val did for us from putting together all the paperwork, dealing with all the other vendors, and dealing with me constantly emailing her with concerns lol. She handled everything with grace and professionalism.

Our wedding was just on 5/9/15. I heard about Lavish Wed at the San Diego Bridal Bazaar at the convention center. When I was approached about possibly being interested in a wedding planner, I was a little skeptical because I love wedding planning and considered myself my own wedding planner. What had changed my mind and sparked my interest was when the gal had mentioned having a planner would cut out a lot of stress such as, guests getting lost on the wedding day and calling me, or people reaching out to me for silly things while I had other (more important things) on my plate, and that sounded wonderful (considering I could totally see my family doing these things). I scheduled a consultation for my mom and my husband to meet with Christine at her office (which by the way is totally gorgeous, and I died a little when I saw her picture with David Tutera!!). Right after we left the appointment, we all knew we wanted to book her immediately. Right off the bat, I knew Christine had a very "to the point" attitude and I had confidence that she would definitely get things done. But she also was super sweet. I've done extensive research on booking all my vendors for our wedding. It was very important to me that my vendors knew what I wanted and were able to get it done for us, but were also pleasant to work with and understood that even though they do this for a living, this is our first and only wedding. Christine was all of that and more! She exceeded my expectations for a wedding planner. We only booked her for the month before the wedding. And just that month, she took all my vendors, payment schedules, timelines, contracts, you name it. She put it all together. I cannot imagine doing all of that. Not to mention I had 8 bridesmaids and 7 other women to get hair and makeup done, she created a timeline for that day. Talk about a lifesaver! I can't say enough good things about Christine and her fellow assistants at Lavish Wed. If you are getting married, get Christine!

The best money I spent for my wedding, hands down, was hiring Lavish Wed for month-of coordination. Christine, who was my coordinator, made everything about the wedding so much easier and less stressful. She handled endless emails and phone calls from me and the various wedding vendors. She always responded quickly to any questions I had and was there to give advice when I needed it.

On the day of the wedding, Christine handled everything seamlessly. My husband and I didn't have to worry about anything and we could just relax and enjoy the day.

I cannot recommend Lavish Wed enough! If you're on the fence about whether or not you need a coordinator, don't hesitate! You'll be so happy with the ladies at Lavish Wed and their hard work will make your wedding much better since you will be able to fully enjoy the day.

One of the easiest decisions I made was to hire Lavish Wed as my Day Of Coordinators! The entire team at Lavish Wed was super accommodating, professional, and overall very fun to work with. Val was absolutely amazing. She was prompt and timely in answering any and all questions, and made some recommendations that I would have never thought of. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, and if there a hiccup, I had NO IDEA! Val was always within reach and always made sure everything was on time, smooth, and that I was as calm and comfortable as I could be. We trusted her to be our ears and eyes while we were busy and she did not let us down! She is really such a sincere person and you can truly tell she is genuine and cares about her couples.

All vendors we had worked with had only high praise and great things to say about Christine, Val, and the entire Lavish team. My wedding day was perfect, everything we could have wanted and more, thanks to Lavish.

This review should have been posted much much sooner, as today is our one year wedding anniversary. My husband and I were just reminiscing how wonderful our wedding turned out and it's all because we hired Lavish Wed. Christine was fabulous!! We hired her and her team to do full service planning, from the very start of planning until the wedding day was over.

We live in Toronto, Ontario but decided to get married in my home town of San Diego, California. Christine was always available to discuss my wedding and made the long distance wedding planning stress free. She was flexible with her schedule and set up meetings with different venues and vendors to accommodate the times I was in town.

When planning a wedding there are so many different things to decide and choose from, it can be very stressful. Christine helped us choose the perfect venue, music, flowers, invitations and all the other details within our budget. If there was something I wanted at my wedding, she knew where and how to get it for me. She was always there to lend her advice and expertise to make sure our wedding was absolutely perfect.

Christine was very organized and kept everything running smoothly on schedule. On the day of our wedding we were able to focus entirely on our guests, family and each other. It was such a wonderful day! We wish we could go back and re-live it again.

Lavish Wed was absolutely amazing! I cannot imagine what our wedding would have been without Christine and her team! From the planning to the actual day of, our wedding was such a happy and positive experience.

We could not have planned such a successful wedding without Lavish Wed. Christine, Chelsea, and Val were so kind and professional all of the time. They all really made for a fantastic planning experience. Christine gave us wonderful suggestions for our wedding and we are very thankful!! Christine kept in contact with me throughout the whole wedding planning process and answered every single email almost immediately. OMG...YOU'RE WEDDING STARTED RIGHT ON TIME! If that's what people say then what else do I have to say?!

But I will say more, because it takes much planning leading up to the that big day! I met with 1 other planner but she was booked and my venue had recommended Christine. I'm so happy they did. She was awesome. From our first meeting I knew I liked her style, attitude, and professionalism. Her and Val were apart of my wedding day and were so helpful and pleasant. I don't know what my wedding would have looked like without them. People may think I have friends and family that will help but they may take over your vision or they have lives too and things come up...Lavish Wed brings your vision forward and you know without a doubt they will be there orchestrating your day keeping the bridal party, guest, vendors, and even bride and groom on point!

I found Lavish Wed off of yelp and I am so glad we hired them to help with our wedding day. We had a small wedding and I went back and forth on whether it was worth hiring a coordinator but am very thankful we hired Lavish Wed. Christine and her assistant were so on top of it the day of our wedding and things would not have gone as smoothly without them. We had a few things that went wrong (like ALL the frosting flowers on my cake flopped onto the table and screwed up the cake due to heat, I smudged & screwed up my chalkboard program the night before the wedding, etc.) that I never even knew went wrong because they fixed it and kept everything in check and running smoothly. They had never even been to our venue before and they were so "on it" and knowledgeable that multiple people in the wedding party thought they worked for the venue. We left for our honeymoon the day after the wedding and Christine even packed up our wedding stuff and took it to her office to hold onto until we got back from our honeymoon. I highly recommend you hire Lavish Wed, you won't regret it!!

Lavish Wed was amazing! Christine Ong is a great wedding coordinator and we're so glad that we booked them. We went with their full service package and they helped us with everything. Christine and her staff were very professional and eager to help us out. The most important thing about their service was that Christine was so responsive to us. She responded to all of our emails, phone calls and text messages. She took care of all of our needs, and spoke to the vendors when we couldn't deal with them anymore. She worked around our schedule, which was extremely important to us because we don't live in San Diego and we work long hours. Her attention to detail was also a huge factor, and she made sure that everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend hiring Lavish Wed to coordinate your wedding. I had such a great experience working with Lavish Wed! I booked them a month out for our September wedding at Hotel Del. I was planning a wedding from Hawaii and was pretty much alone in the whole planning process. Therefore, I needed some guidance. I contacted Lavish and luckily they were available.
At first, I was mostly in touch with Christine, who was so friendly and very prompt at returning emails. Since I couldn't meet the team in person, I got to that to talk to the ladies over the phone, as they helped me go through every step. As it got closer to the wedding day, I was mostly in touch with Val, who was my day of coordinator, along with Sarah. Although I was mainly talking to Val towards the end, Christine was always involved. As the big day approached, the ladies sent me timelines, checklists, seating charts, and made sure all the little details were taken care of. Even when I hadnt accounted for something, they made sure they personally took care of it.
At the rehearsal is where I finally met the team. Although Christine was not going to be there during the wedding day, she made it a point to come to the rehearsal and meet me. All the ladies were super professional and very personable, even when we kept them waiting until everyone finally showed up.
When the wedding day came, Val and Sarah took care of everything. Even if things had gone wrong, I was left unaware. They ladies did such a fabulous job at setting everything up, getting everyone situated, and making sure everything followed the timeline. . All our guests at the wedding had great things to say about them. I am sure they did so much behind the scenes that was left unseen. I am so thankful for them and so glad that they were there for us on our day. It truly felt as though they were part of our friends and family during the wedding day, instead of our planners. Thank you so much Lavish Wed, we owe you guys for the fabulous special day that we had.

If it wasn’t for Christine and her team at Lavish Wed, I don’t know what we would have done! We got the full service package and it was definitely worth the money. Christine made the whole wedding planning so much easier. As a couple that did not want to have to search through the hundreds of vendors in San Diego, Christine helped immensely. She has invaluable knowledge of the market costs of everything in the industry, which helped us to know that we weren’t overpaying for things. All her vendor recommendations were great and all of them did a great job on the wedding day. We also did the Photo Booth and Sweets Station through Lavish Wed, and they looked like a picture from a magazine!

Moreover, Christine made sure every single detail was taken care of. She took our vision of what we wanted the reception to look like and made it happen. The day of went off without a hitch, and everything looked perfect! We enjoyed our wedding day without having to worry about all the little details and making sure everything was in place. A mutual friend recommended Christine for wedding planning services and I am so thrilled she did! I was so busy and stressed with work, I knew I needed the help and I could have NEVER done it without her! I booked Christine towards the end of January for an August wedding and she wasn't worried about the time frame at all. She was so organized, fun, and such a pleasure to work with. She listened to my opinions and desires and offered advice when I needed and asked for it. I loved the pictures I had seen of her other events and I knew I was in great hands!

I knew Christine and the Lavish Wed team had tons of clients, especially during the busy wedding season, but she was still so quick to respond to my emails every single day. She always made me feel important and special and was on top of everything the entire time. Even when she would remind me of things I had to complete, she was always so sweet when she had to oftentimes remind or ask me several times because I had fallen behind haha. She setup all of the meetings and helped me find all the perfect vendors that fit my personality and budget. My dad told me after the wedding that great events don't just happen, you make them happen and he said the event was so beautiful and flawless he knew we had the best planner and the best vendors. I know we did too! :)

If anything went wrong during our wedding day, I never knew about it! The event was absolutely perfect. I'm still beaming from it. My new husband and I wanted a party and that's exactly what Christine gave us! So many people came up to us afterwards and told us what an amazing job she did. She stayed until the very end of the night, even being the one to drop us off at our hotel since we stayed pretty close to the venue. I am so happy and impressed with everything that Christine and the Lavish Wed team did for us, I continue to refer her to friends but also can't wait to plan my next event with her. A baby shower one day perhaps? ;)

Christine did an unbelievable job for our wedding! We hired her as a day-of coordinator, but she did so much more for us! She kept in contact constantly through emails, and coordinated all of our vendors. The day went smoothly and I did not have to do anything! We booked Lavish Wed for Partial Planning Services and are beyond impressed! From the moment we met with Christine, she answered questions promptly and offered great advice. She is extremely knowledgeable about anything and everything wedding related and knows great vendors in the industry to refer. Christine and her assistant made our wedding flow so smoothly! ALL our guests and vendors were raving about Christine and how organized and on top of things she was. She handled everything so well and really made our wedding flow effortlessly.

In addition to her attention to detail and wonderful organizational skills, Christine also knows a lot of wonderful vendors in San Diego. We were having a hard time finding a good videographer in our budget, and she recommended Lux Media, a wonderful company, which was in our budget. Since we only hired Christine for the day of, she didn't really need to help us find vendors, but she was always so helpful with anything we needed. I experienced no stress on the day on my wedding because I knew how on top of things Christine was. Everything worked out really, really well, and I owe it all to Christine :) I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator!

I'm still on a complete high with how wonderful our wedding was...

Christine and her team was SO on top of things. Christine, Annie, and Val surpassed all of my expectations. I booked her for the month of coordination, about a year before the wedding, and she was always prompt on returning my e-mails when I had any questions during my planning process.

My jaws dropped and eyes watered when I walked into our reception hall. The "dream team", I like to call it, made our wedding completely flawless. We even had a little hiccup (more guest arrived that I did not receive their RSVP), and her team and our vendors were so on top of it!!

Our entire list of vendors (caterer, DJ, photographer, florist, etc...) kept mentioning how AWESOME Christine is to work with. They thanked me for hiring her as she was a godsend to not only us, but our vendors as well! Not only did the vendors appreciate her, but our family and friends kept commenting on how wonderful Christine and her staff was. Our guests kept saying that it was the best wedding they've ever attended, and how everything fell into place so perfectly!!! Lavish Wed definitely knew what they were doing and it definitely showed.

I also booked the super awesome Photo Booth package with Lavish Wed. Guests had so much fun with it, and it was definitely another highlight of the wedding. There were attendants helping out with working the PhotoBooth, and creating a scrapbook package as well!

I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Lavish Wed to any and all future brides. I wish I can hire her again (but I'm only getting married once. LOL) Thank You Christine, Annie, and Val, you guys are THE BEST!!!!!!!

Lavish Wed was amazing!! They are professional, upbeat, pleasant, patient and returned text, calls and emails in a timely manner. They are so helpful and organized, it made planning our perfect day so easy. My husband and I did not have to worry about anything. My bridesmaids, parents and myself didn't have to do a single thing the day before or day of. All vendor scheduling was done for me and I had no planning worries in the days leading up. My wife and I live in Arizona, but wanted a destination wedding in San Diego. We had 4 1/2 months to plan it and realized pretty quickly we couldn't piece it together on our own. Enter Lavish Wed and Christine. She was on it, got us up to speed on pretty much everything and basically helped us every step of the way without much of a hitch. Wow! I do not know what the day would be like without Chelsea! I hired Chelsea to help coordinate my wedding since I am super busy with graduate school. She literally was several steps ahead of me since the moment I started working with her, she was amazing! For example, there was a chance that it could have been extremely cold at the venue and I decided heaters would be a good idea. I asked Chelsea and she said she had already talked to the venue and will set them up according to the weather. This was just one of many conversations that were like that. She was extremely helpful and answered or alleviated any questions or problems I had. I contacted her at all hours and she was so quick to respond! She was very professional and is extremely good at what she does!
She coordinated all the venues and made sure they came at the right times. I wouldn't have known where to start!! I realized I can have a relaxing time at my wedding because I knew she would take care of the day. I didn't have to stress at all because Chelsea would take care of it. The wedding went flawless!! Everything was perfect thanks to Chelsea! I highly recommend her and her staff!!

What I booked: Pink Package -Month Of/Day Of Coordination + Cotton Candy
Any women would kill to have something that can accomplish all those needs listed above on your Wedding Day (you only have one chance to do it right!). Without Christine you'd probably end up in the sidelines not being able to walk down the aisle because you are too busy checking if the flowers are in order, or if your BM's are lined up properly, or the guests are comfortably seated..etc. Why.. why would any bride want that on your day?? Christine Ong and her team were angels from heaven. They literally look like it.. well in professional black attire for the respect of the bride in white ;). Like everyone says.. you don't remember much of how your wedding was put together and that's how it should be. The girls figured things out on their own and placed everything in a more attractive way than I could have ever thought of doing.
The day I gave everything to Christine in bin's labeled in the way I visioned things.. I truly let a sigh of relief. I knew all my work and custom handmade DIY things were in good hands.. if anything I knew she was going to make them look even better. Her style obviously was something I adored so whatever she changed last minute I trusted.
If I had to change anything from this experience...
I would've probably booked the Platinum Package hahaha.. If only I had $$$$ of course

I hired Christine from lavish, and she was amazing! very organized, calm, creative, and she's very well put together. Christine is young, and has a wonderful eye for design. She made sure the wedding ran as planned. I cant say thank you enough to her for her wonderful work.

Christine at Lavish Wed was amazing to work with. She was our month of coordinator for our wedding, but started answering our questions well before the month of. My husband and I both live in New York, but got married in San Diego. She helped us stay organized and had us thinking about things we never even thought of before. She kept us on track day of our wedding and was an amazing help in the set up of our ceremony and reception location. She also knows a lot of great vendors! We hired our hair stylist and videographer through her and they were great to work with as well. She's super sweet, but definitely gets stuff done! She made planning from across the country so much easier!!

Christine at Lavish Wed was amazing to work with. She went above and beyond! My wedding was flawless and everything coordinated beautifully! I received so many compliments on how smoothly and well timed the whole wedding went! I highly recommend her whole team! Dolldine Designs also created my programs, menus, place cards, and table names. They turned out absolutely beautiful! My wedding would have not been so flawless without Christine and her team. I highly recommend Lavish Wed!

It was about 3 weeks before our wedding when we booked Lavish Wed and we're very lucky they were available. Chelsea was so wonderful!! We did some pre-planning of course but Chelsea helped with some things we forgot or didn't even think of. She was so helpful and easy to work with. When the big day arrived we felt so relieved that Chelsea had everything set up and the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch! The decor was set up beautifully and was just how we wanted it! She even helped with my bustle when my sister wasn't readily available so I could get to my first dance. Chelsea and her assistant were always around when we needed them and we didn't have to think about 1 thing except to have fun and enjoy ourselves. We were extremely pleased with their services and would highly recommend them. We honestly don't know how we would have gotten through this without booking Lavish Wed. It was absolutely worth every penny and then some!

I hired Christine as the day-of wedding coordinator for our San Diego wedding in August 2013 and she was amazing. She completely went above and beyond and contacted all my vendors for me and organized our wedding rehearsal, even though the price we had settled on was essentially for day-of services. She's also flexible with plans and responds quickly to email and text. Even before the wedding day, I kept telling my bridesmaids that Lavish Wed was by far the best deal out of all our vendors.

She is so organized and on top of all the details that my other vendors were even complimenting me on my choice. I'm not kidding .. the officiant, the lighting crew, the DJ, and my photographer all said good things. My favorite compliment was from my sister (and maid of honor) who asked, "Where did you FIND her??"

Not only did my vendors think she was great, my guests were pleased as well. We had 175 people at our ceremony and reception and I received multiple compliments about how the ceremony and reception were beautifully planned. She was so discrete that no one even knew Christine was behind it all!

Despite the opinions of my vendors and guests, my husband and I were definitely her happiest customers that day. Like any wedding, ours didn't go without its problems (i.e. the florist got lost, some of the guests were running behind, etc) but we didn't hear about ANY of it until after the event. Being able to relax and enjoy ourselves on our wedding day was an invaluable gift that Christine gave to us. We really can't thank her enough.

I recently got married and hired Christine at Lavish as our month-of coordinator. I was hesitant to pay for a month or day of coordinator, but our venue required it and thank goodness! Because of Lavish, my wedding day was relaxing, stress-free and in my eyes, the day went perfectly. After the fact, I found out a few little things that went wrong (like people showing up who weren't invited, etc), but the problems were solved completely without my involvement and I didn't even know about them until they were no longer a problem anymore. I was able to spend the day relaxing and getting ready with my girls rather than stressing over the set-up of the wedding.

Christine handled coordinating all the vendors and was their contact the "day-of" so I didn't even have to think about it! She and her team also handled the after wedding clean up, which was a HUGE help! We were able to spend the following day enjoying our friends and family instead of worrying about everything getting cleaned at the venue so we could get our deposit back.

Hiring a coordinator should absolutely be a part of any bride's wedding budget. Being stress-free the day-of is priceless! I highly recommend Christine at Lavish. Her prices and service were exceptional!

Christine is absolutely wonderful. She is professional, responsible, responds quickly, creative, sweet, and so positive. She is a pleasure to work with and I was so impressed by her. She went above and beyond just being a day-of coordinator. She made herself available by phone or email to any questions or concern, helped solve any problems, and always had great suggestions. Not to mention she offered to drive to my house the day after the wedding to give me the top of our cake that someone left in the freezer at the venue. How sweet is that? I would recommend anyone who wants a calm, beautiful, stress free wedding to hire Christine.

I would highly recommend Christine and her assistant Dawn at Lavish Wed. They were extremely helpful, quick to respond, and an incredible value. Having them for the day of was a blessing and we really didn't have to worry about anything. They handled all of the contracts and made sure everyone was where they needed to be. We did a very non-traditional wedding and loved every minute of it! The girls were helpful with input and suggestions without being over-bearing. I was so glad that we decided to go with them as they were a referral from someone that I didn't know very well...our day went beautifully without a glitch (or at least we didn't know about it)! Without Christine my wedding would have never happened! I am an event producer who lives in LA and so I kept pushing my own event off to the last minute. Christine kept me on track, recommended excellent vendors and even found me a videographer 3 days before my wedding. The wedding and reception stayed perfectly on schedule and she kept so calm and helped me do the same! We things went a little off track with the pre wedding photo she saved the day and drove us around to alternate locations!!

Christine has great personal relationships with so many vendors in San Diego making her an incredible resource. She comes with the highest recommendation possible!

Christine is a phenomenal professional and a genuinely kind, caring individual. My husband and I first met her at her exquisite Lavish Lounge just to explore the idea of using wedding planning & coordination services, and we both knew after that meeting that we wanted to work with her. It was a destination wedding for all our guests, and we wanted to create an amazing, fun, memorable experience. Christine was always present and attentive to detail – personally met with us to touch base throughout the planning process, helped us find the perfect venue, connected us with the right vendors based on our preferences and budget, responded to correspondence in a timely manner – she made us feel like we were her only clients, and even becoming friends. She created an incredibly detailed timeline for the wedding day so that the vendors, wedding party, everyone involved would know where to set up, when to show up, hair/makeup appointments, etc…and despite all the moving parts and people, everything happened ON TIME! Her assistant, Heather, took such good care of the whole wedding party from getting ready to walking down the aisle. We also had a cotton candy stand, photobooth, and custom seating chart by Lavish, which were all beautiful. Out of her kindness and generosity, and to our surprise, she included some additional décor details that matched our esthetic. Whatever minor setback arose on the day, she addressed it immediately and behind the scenes; I actually was unaware of any issues. We heard nothing but high praise for her communication and professionalism from the vendors as well as our guests. And we continue to hear that our wedding was exceptional, one of the best, packed with the highest levels of joy and love! She helped us execute a special day even better than what we envisioned!

I met Christine as my event designer with Encore Catering for my wedding. For the record, working with Encore was great! Their food is amazing!! Anyhow, Christine was always able to ease my concerns by responding to me almost immediately whenever I emailed her. Before I even hired her as my wedding coordinator she had helped me with referrals to vendors and my wedding venue. Every time we decided to change something, which we did a lot (food, venue, date, etc.), Christine was there to help us get back on track and not stress out. She was able to work within our budget but still went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. I really felt like I could go to Christine for anything and she always offered valuable guidance. When it came to my month-of wedding planning, she provided all kinds of worksheets and charts to make sure we had everything organized and in order. She contacted all of my vendors to coordinate set up times and all logistical details. I cannot tell you how much weight she lifted off of my shoulders in those final weeks leading up to the wedding. When we met for the walk through at the venue, I was assured that she had everything under control and that my wedding would end up just how I wanted it. She was also available to run the rehearsal dinner which was a huge help! On the day of the wedding, Christine was all over the place making sure everything was in order and that we stuck to the timeline. Although, we were slightly behind after the ceremony, we did a pretty good job sticking to our schedule. I was so happy with the way the decor came out and the way she set up everything in the way I wanted it to be. I could not be happier with the final product.

These women are classy, hardworking, and know how to get a job done while keeping a smile on their face! When I first started planning my wedding, I was trying to hard to avoid getting a wedding planner. After LavishWed was referred to me from one of our other vendors, I figured I'd see what they were about and meet with them. After meeting with Christine and Candice at their adorable studio, I KNEW they were going to help make our big day perfect! They were always available via e-mail for any silly questions I had. They have tons of experience and have a great sense of what works well at weddings. Plus, as a bonus, they all have a great sense of style and good taste so they'll make your wedding BEAUTIFUL! All of my scheduled events were right on time, and they kept the wedding at a perfect pace. The best part about these girls was how they contacted and organized a walk through with all of my vendors! They made sure everyone was on the same page which I felt was super important.

If you're hoping to have a lot of input in your wedding planning process, but want to enjoy your special day, hire these girls. I felt like my coordinator knew all my wants and wishes, and I didn't have to worry about a thing! Hiring LavishWed is perfect for brides that don't have an all-inclusive wedding venue. If your venue requires you to find your own DJ, photographer, florist, etc...you NEED to hire these ladies!! They'll keep your head on straight. :)

One of the things that my new husband and I are completely happy about was hiring Lavish Wed (now Lavish Weddings) to help us with our wedding last month.

My husband underestimated the stress of wedding planning and the actual wedding day, but thankfully, he gave into me and let me hire Lavish Wed to make sure our wedding goes smoothly.

They really did take off a lot for us and helped us preserve our sanity until the wedding day. We really had a great time on our wedding because everything else was being taken care of for us. Christine and her ladies kept us on schedule which was really important because our venue would have charged us a bunch of money if we partied too long or started it off too early.

They responded to our emails within 24 hours, often within the same day. They had checklists, suggestions that made the party fun, and referrals that really helped us out. In fact, we found our makeup artist, hairstylist, and videographer through Lavish Wed. All of them were stellar and amazing! Altogether along with my florist and DJ, they made an all star team who made our wedding very special and memorable.

Christine and her girls have good taste and class. We gave them all the decor we wanted at our wedding and they put it all together on the day of. Everything turned out great! Some of my guests even said that it was instagram worthy.

We definitely recommend getting Lavish Wed on board if you're planning a wedding for the first time. It helped us out since we were both very busy and had no experience with wedding planning. Also, it was a tremendous help for us since we procrastinate a lot. Christine and her girls are very easy and great to work with. I'm so happy to have trusted them with so many responsibilities. They are great at what they do and they know what they're doing!
